CellarScience® BUBBLY Dry Wine Yeast | Premium Wine Yeast

Really strong and fast fermentations Best strain to ferment out in touch conditions One of the most popular, classic Champagne strains Low nutrient requrements The classic Champagne yeast. With a fast fermentation rate, high alcohol tolerance, and low nutritional requirment it is one of the easiest yeasts to ferment. Allows varietal character to shine through while accentuating stone fruit and citrus. Able to ferment under higher pressures. Does not ferment Malic acid so natrually produces fresh wines with crisp acidity. This makes it a classic choice for fruit wines, meads and ciders. Top choice for doing secondary fermenation in the bottle for natural carbonation. One of the most popular yeast strains in the world. Can handle lower fermentation temperatures.   Start Time: Fast Alcohol tolerance: 15% Nitrogen Demand: low Yan Requirement @ 23 Brix: 220 ppm Production of volatile acidity: Low Production of SO2: Low Ease to Ferment with MLF: Good Yeast type: Bayanus Killer Factor: Neutral Optimal Fermentation Temp: 45–90°F   Proper yeast hydration helps ensure a healthy fermentation. For every gram of yeast, mix .25 g of FermStart yeast nutrient with 25 ml of sterilized tap water between 104–106°F/40–41°C. When water reaches 104°F/40°C, sprinkle yeast into water and stir gently. Allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 15 minutes and then stir again. For every gram of yeast used add 25 ml of clean must to the yeast slurry and let stand 15–20 minutes. If necessary, use additional must to adjust yeast slurry to within 18°F of must temp before pitching. For a complete nutrient schedule sufficient for most fermentations, add 1.5 g of FermFed DAP Free per gallon of must at the first sign of fermentation and 1 g of FermFed per gallon of must after 1/3 sugar depletion.   Download the PDF

  • Sale -20% Stainless Steel Distilling Parrot Stainless Steel Distilling Parrot

    Stainless Steel Distilling Parrot

    17 reviews

A distiller's parrot is a piece of equipment that allows you to take alcohol gravity measurements using an Alcometer continuously throughout your pot or reflux run. It should be placed inline of your distillation outlet so that the drops of distillate fall directly into the tallest collection cone. But it should only placed in-line after you collect your foreshots. Your alcometer is then gently placed into the lower cone. Be careful not to drop in the alcometer before there is any liquid/distillate in the cone, as dropping it into an empty cone could break your glass alcohol meter. Specifications: Max Capacity: 105 ml (w/o alcometer) Weight: 1.9 lbs Made from 304 Stainless Steel Kegland Part number: KL14823 I.D. of 19mm (0.74") Does not include alcohol meter.

Ekuanot® Brand HBC 366 (Equinox) | Pellet Hops

    4 reviews

Ekuanot® is one of the newest hop varietals released and has been received with much acclaim. Released in 2014, Ekuanot® (formally Equinox and HBC 366) has surged in popularity and growing acreage.  The ridiculously high oil content (2.5-4 ml/100g!) and desirable aromatics have lead breweries of all sizes to flock to this hop. Great for all beer styles but definitely featured in IPAs and other hop forward beers. Ekuanot® is described as having aromas of melon, berry, orange peel, lime, papaya, pine and fresh peppers.  Try it in your next batch and see what flavors you find!   Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 13 – 15.5% Beta Acids: 4.0 – 5.0% Cohumulone: (% of alpha acids): 31 – 36% Total Oils in mls per 100 grams dried: 2.5 – 4.0   Hops are packaged in oxygen and light barrier bags.   Ekuanot® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

  • Sale -25% Duotight - 8mm (5/16) - Digital Mini Pressure Gauge - 0-90 psi Duotight - 8mm (5/16) - Digital Mini Pressure Gauge - 0-90 psi

Digital Mini Pressure Gauge (0-90 psi) - 8 mm Duotight Compatible

    1 review

Get instant pressure reads with the back illuminated Digital Mini Pressure Gauge from KegLand. Compatible with 8 mm Duotight fittings and Gray Ball Lock QDs. If you're using the original BlowTie spunding valve without pressure gauge, you can use a Duotight tee fitting in-line between the ball lock QD and the BlowTie to take pressure readings with the Digital Mini Gauge. KegLand has developed the world's most compact mini digital gauge with backlight illumination. This very compact design retains high accuracy while still meeting the desirable small form factor. This meets the growing need as mini keg systems, mini regulators and other more compact keg dispensing solutions are required. Traditional analogue gauges require a small capillary mechanism where a small pipe expands and unravels under pressure. This in turn drives a mechanical cog to rotate the gauge needle. This age-old technique works quite well especially in large gauges but as this mechanism is manufactured smaller and smaller a tradeoff between accuracy and size becomes the issue. With very small gauges such as a 27mm x 27mm Mini Gauge, it's difficult to make them better than 10% accuracy due to the physical constraints of the mechanical components. Specifications: Battery Life: More than 2 years (using the mini gauge once a day) Battery Type: CR2032 Auto Battery Saver: automatically turns off after 15 sec Size: 27mm x 27mm (1" x 1") Duotight Stem: 8 mm KegLand Part Number: KL18081 Please note: This gauge is not suitable for measuring pressure of liquids. It is only for measuring gas pressure. If liquid gets into the pressure transducer it will damage the gauge.

  • Cryo Hops - Chinook - PLACEHOLDER Pellet Hops - Amarillo - PLACEHOLDER

    Chinook | Cryo Hops®

Dual purpose hops popularly used in American styles including Pale Ales and West Coast IPAs Aroma Profile: Berry, Grapefruit, Pine, Stone Fruit, Tropical Alpha Acids: 18.0 – 24.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer! Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor.  It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil. Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material. Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier. Typical Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 18.0 – 24.0% Beta Acids: 6.0 – 9.0% Total Oil: 1.5 – 4.0%   Cryo Hops® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

    13 reviews

Want an easy-to-use, stainless vessel that ferments and carbonates? This 29L/7.6 Gallon keg has been modified to allow you to do both! The top is fitted with a large 4 inch tri-clamp lid with two ball lock posts and a pressure relief valve. You can use this vessel to ferment, carbonate, serve, or push the beer through a filter. The posts are recessed which allows you to stack these kegs up to 4 high. A 4" T.C. end cap with pre drilled hole is also available (H691), which can be paired with a #3 stopper and airlock. Also consider the Kegmenter Hop Bong Pressure Pack which allows for oxygen-free dry hopping and also features ball lock posts for Gas & Liquid. After fermentation, there will be a large trub cake at the bottom of the vessel. Leaving finished beer on the trub for too long (2-3 weeks) may eventually lead to off-flavors. Check out our ball lock jumper line (KEG575) to easily transfer from one kegmenter to the other. Also consider our beer filter kit (FIL40), which will allow you to filter the beer during transfer. Features: Rated up to 2.5 BAR (36 psi) 4" T.C. lid with ball lock posts Floating dip tube Stainless steel 1.8 mm thick Use: As a stainless steel fermenter that is easy to clean Great choice for 5 gallon fermentations Easy to pressurize the kegmenter after fermentation to push through a filter and into another keg Fermenting under pressure, allowing CO2 to exit via the relief valve, reduces esters and fusel alcohol production allowing you to ferment at warmer temperatures Distillation - with the addition of a T.C. reducer and condenser (H701 / DS120 / DS130) As a cellar keg for topping up barrels Warning: Always depressurize keg before removing lid. EVABarrier Double Wall Draft Tubing - 6.3 mm ID x 9.5 mm OD

    6 reviews

If you're looking for a high-quality draft tubing to take your system into the 21st century, EVABarrier is the clear choice. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss and microbial growth. Plus, it's BPA and PVC free! EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now you can rig up your home system with the same first-class tubing. The 6.3 mm (1/4") ID size is recommended to be used as gas line or long draw beverage lines. If you intend to use it as beverage line, we recommend using 20-25 ft. per line for adequate flow resistance. Outer Barrier The outer barrier is made from EVA material and provides a decent stiffness to the tubing while still remaining pliable. This not only makes EVABarrier extremely kink resistant, it also makes it the best tubing to be used with Duotight, John Guest, and other push-in fittings. Inner Barrier The inner barrier is made from a proprietary polymer that acts as an excellent gas barrier. You can rest assured that your beer will be better protected from oxygen exposure, as well as CO2 loss. Your beer will stay fresher for longer and not loose carbonation like with other draft line. With other beverage line, you may notice that beer sitting in the line for an extended period will start to taste flat and/or oxidized. EVA Barrier tubing is unquestionably better in this regard and you will notice a significantly improved freshness of your beer, especially if it's been sitting in the lines for a while. Due to the high density and smooth nature of the EVABarrier inner wall, the internal surface of the tubing is remarkably smooth and almost completely impermeable. This makes it difficult for bacteria and other microbes to attach to the inside surface of the tubing. Just another way EVABarrier is looking out for you and your beer! Direct Connect to Ball Lock Kegs This tubing works seamlessly with Duotight Gas In and Bev Out Ball Lock QDs which allow you to connect your draft lines directly to your ball lock homebrew keg. Be sure to select the correct size QD fittings that correspond to your tubing's outer diameter (OD). Specifications: Inner Diameter - 6.3 mm (1/4") Outer Diameter - 9.5 mm (3/8") PVC, BPA , and Plasticizer Free* Stiff outer wall is kink resistant and easy to use with Duotight fittings Smooth inner wall prevents oxidation, CO2 loss and microbial growth build-up *EVABarrier does not contain plasticizers, or phthalates, that are used to make PVC flexible. These plasticizers are known to leach out into the beer over time and have adverse health effects. Kegland Part number: KL06248

    Wine Corks - 1 3/4 in. Grade 3

    22 reviews

A standard length and diameter single punch cork in a high quality grading at a reasonable price. Corks are typically graded on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best score, based on the degree of porousness that the actual punch of cork exhibits. Cork trees that show a higher population of worms or fungi tend to yield cork crops which are more porous. The Grade 3 corks show less than average porousness and are on par with the quality of cork used in many commercial facilities. Grade 1 & 2 corks are almost completely solid and sell at very high prices. These corks are harvested and punched in Portugal, like the majority of the rest of the corks available today. They are processed, sorted, prepped and packaged here in Northern California.

    BrewBuilt® Neoprene Carboy Sleeve

    7 reviews

Have you been struggling with fermentation temperature swings? The BrewBuilt Neoprene Carboy Sleeve works great for maintaining the internal temperature of your 5, 6, or 6.5 gallon glass carboy. If you aren't fermenting in a temperature-controlled environment your beer is likely rising and falling with the ambient temperature, and these swings can stress out yeast and have a negative effect on the finished product. This 6 mm thick neoprene sleeve will help retain the heat naturally produced by fermentation activity and provide some protection from the ambient environment, leading to more consistent fermentation temps, happier yeast, and less off flavors in your beer. We highly recommend the neoprene sleeve for use with the BrewBuilt Carboy CoolStix. The added insulation will lower the amount of cycles needed to maintain fermentation temperatures and is a must-have for cold crashing.   SKU Size Height (in.) Diameter (in.) • Sale -20% Wort Aerator - Air Pump Kit Wort Aerator - Air Pump Kit

Wort Aerator | Air Pump Kit | Aeration System w/ Filter & Diffusion Stone

Aerate your wort automatically with this complete aeration system. Includes compact air pump, air filter, diffusion stone, and EVABarrier tubing. This aeration system diffuses oxygen into your wort using the air around you, so there's no need to buy pure oxygen cylinders again and again. The down side is that aeration takes longer than oxygenation. Because the atmosphere is only about 20% oxygen, the diffusion stone must be left running in the wort for approximately 30–120 minutes (but even 5 minutes of aeration is better than shaking the carboy). The sterile filter will prevent contamination during this period, but you will need to monitor the fermenter periodically for possible over foaming. To clean your stainless stone, we recommend boiling it for several minutes and storing it in a zip lock bag between uses. It can clog easily with the oil in your fingers, so use gloves when attaching it to the tubing. NOTE: You will need to use hot water to soften the 4 mm x 8 mm EVABarrier tubing when attaching the stone. Needle nose pliers can help to widen the tubing, if necessary. Hose clamps won't be required once it's attached. You will also need to cut a short piece of tubing to bridge the connection from the air pump to the air filter and the air filter to the diffusion stone. You do not want the air filter to get wet or be inserted into your fermenter, so keep the air filter close to the pump. The sanitary air filter can last up to 1 year, but should be replaced if there are any signs of discoloration. Duotight Push-In Fitting - 8mm (5/16 in.) x 8mm (5/16 in.) Male Elbow

    1 review

This Duotight to Male Elbow fitting can be used to route tubing connecting to 8 mm Duotight Ball Lock QDs. This is a great way to keep tubing organized and out of the way in your kegerator. Compatible with EVABarrier 8 mm OD Tubing (D1717 & D1718). Duotight fittings are high-quality push-in fittings that seal tight and offer superior sealing capacity due to the double O-ring sealing design. High Performance Double O-Ring Design: The secret to Duotight’s superior sealing performance comes from the fact that they use not one, but two high-quality EPDM O-rings. The double O-ring means they have literally twice the sealing surface when compared with other push-in fittings. This makes them more reliable and significantly reduces the chance of leakage. The double O-ring system also means that tubing can be bent at a much tighter radius without causing leaking issues, which can be an issue with other fittings. This combination of factors makes Duotight the most reliable push-in fittings on the market. EPDM offers excellent chemical resistance for a longer life span. When compared with silicone and vinyl, EPDM has much better gas transmission rates, better wear resistance, and is BPA-free. No Clamps Necessary! We recommend cutting your tubing straight, not on an angle, to ensure the line forms a complete seal. To remove the fitting simply push in the collet and the hose can be removed. Features: Insert tubing and firmly push to connect Easily release tubing by pushing in the collet Suitable for both gas & beverage applications Made from food-grade acetal plastic Double O-rings made from highly chemical resistant EPDM Locking teeth made from stainless steel Pressure rated to 150 psi Temperature rated to 212°F (100°C) Please note: exposure to chlorine will degrade the acetal plastic and stainless steel these fittings are made from. American Oak Cubes (Stavin) - Heavy Toast

    5 reviews

Premium, Fire-Toasted Oak Cubes from Stavin Heavy Toast American Oak will impart flavors of char, spice and roasted coffee; with hints of vanilla and butterscotch. These fire-toasted oak cubes are as close as you can come to the full range of flavors you would get from aging your beer in a full sized barrel, unlike convection-toased cubes. The difference is that convection toasted cubes are made by cutting the stave to size, then passing the small cubes through a toasting chamber. Stavin fire-toasts their staves whole, just like they would when making a barrel, and then cuts them down to size. The result is a gradation of toasting from the surface through to the center of the cube, where each different toast level represents a different flavor set that the oak will give your beer. The result is a much more complex and natural profile; by comparison convection toasted cubes taste one dimensional. Oak cubes also release their flavor into your beer more slowly than chips, giving you more control over the final degree of impact in your beer. You should plan on an extended aging period of 1-6 months when using cubes. This longer contact time again promotes flavor complexity by allowing all the flavors of the oak and your beer to marry. Recommended Dosage is 2 oz per 5 gallons for impact equivalent to aging in a brand new oak barrel. Download the PDF

Extremely versatile and well fit for IPAs, Pale Ales, Hazys, Stouts, and Lagers Aroma Profile: Citrus, Dank, Earthy, Woody Alpha Acids: 15.0 – 18.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. ForgeFit® Stainless Tri-Clamp Rotating Racking Arm | 1.5"

Stop leaving clean, perfectly good, wine or beer in your tank and always drain from the perfect height with our tri-clover style rotating racking arms. Remove your existing tri-clamp butterfly valve and place this rotating racking arm between the tank and your valve. When it is time to rack off slightly loosen the clamp nearest the tank and use the built-in handle to rotate to just about the lees level. A white rotatable gasket is placed between the welded in tank fitting and this rotating arm. Because the micro finish of the gasket is hard and slippery it allows the rotating arm to rotate in place. A standard black EPDM gasket is placed between the rotating arm and the butterfly valve and is always kept completely tightened. The length of the arm after the elbow is 10.5" allowing you to draw from roughly 8" above or below the valve level. The arm measures 9.5" from the TC fitting to the elbow. We suggest you assemble the rotating arm and butterfly valve in such a way that the arm is pointed in the same direction as the handle on your butterfly valve. In this manner you always know how the racking arm is positioned in your tank. 1.5" tri-clamp Polished finish Made from 304 stainless steel ForgeFit® is a brand of rugged, high-quality fittings made from certified 304 stainless steel. Lallzyme EX-V™ | Fermentation Enzyme For Structured Red Wines

    6 reviews

Lallzyme EX-V – Enzyme for Structured Red Wines with Enhanced Color and Tannin Stability Extracts color and tannins with improved integration for wines destined for aging Promotes stable anthocyanin-tannin bonding for long-lasting color Enhances mouthfeel, midpalate weight, and structural balance Improves juice yield and reduces solids through efficient cell wall degradation Balanced enzyme activity supports both extraction and finesse in premium red wines Lallzyme EX-V is a precision enzyme blend developed by Lallemand for red wine fermentations where structure, balance, and ageability are desired. It combines strong pectolytic activity with targeted cellulase and hemicellulase functions to break down grape skin cell walls, facilitating the release of anthocyanins and seed-derived tannins in a controlled, integrative manner. EX-V is ideal for varietals with moderate to firm skins or when crafting red wines intended for barrel aging, as it enhances phenolic complexity without over-extracting bitterness or astringency. Wines fermented with EX-V tend to show refined texture, vivid color, and excellent long-term stability. Comparison to Other Lallemand Maceration Enzymes: Compared to EX, which is best for early-drinking, fruit-forward reds, EX-V is designed for more structured, age-worthy styles with higher tannin and color stability.  EX = softer, fruit-driven reds for early release EX-V = structured, balanced reds with aging potential Protocol Dilute Lallzyme EX-V in 10 times its weight of chlorine-free water. Add to crushed grapes or must at the beginning of fermentation. Mix thoroughly for even dispersion. Optimal temperature range: 20–30°C. Avoid adding below 10°C or after alcoholic fermentation begins. Usage Rates Recommended dosage: 30–40 grams per ton of grapes = 0.66–0.88 grams per hectoliter (assuming 450 L/ton) = 0.0066–0.0088 grams per liter = 0.025–0.033 grams per gallon Use the lower end of the range for moderately structured fruit or extended maceration. Use the higher range for tighter-skinned grapes, shorter fermentations, or when greater phenolic extraction and color stability are required for barrel-aged or long-lived reds.

The Alembic Copper Domed lid will help you achieve a smoother, richer, sweeter tasting spirit by helping to remove unwanted sulfur compounds. The large copper surface area acts as a catalyst with distilling vapor to enhance and concentrate flavors and aromas during the distilling process. Primarily intended for use with the Copper Pot Still, but it can also be used with the Copper Reflux still if desired. Note: This lid uses a 6mm gasket to better fit the Gen 4 BrewZilla and Gen 2 DigiBoil. It is also backwards compatible with Gen 3 and older BrewZillas and Gen 1 DigiBoils. To improve the seal further, we highly recommend using the Adjustable Lid Clamps with the Distillation Lid if your unit does not have them. 9-1/2" Tall 12-3/8" Diameter. Please note that copper is a very soft metal and can be dented quite easily. Store and use with care. • Reduless - PLACEHOLDER Reduless - PLACEHOLDER

Lallemand Reduless | Inactivated Yeast with Copper | Fixes H2S Issues

    1 review

Reduless is a new product from Lallemand that was designed to correct negative VSCs (Voltatile Sulfur Compounds) such as H2S (hydrogen sulfide, A.K.A. "rotten egg") and DMS (dimethyl sulfide, A.K.A. "cooked corn") defects in wine. Made from inactivated yeast that have been infused with copper using a proprietary process, Reduless is a much gentler H2S remedy on the wine than the traditional copper sulfate (CuSO4) treatment alone. If you have an H2S problem, then we recommend treating it with Reduless first. However, if the sulfur problem still remains after the Reduless treatment, then a bench trial with copper sulfate (CuSO4) is recommended. Note: The sooner you catch a sulfur problem the easier it is to deal with! To Use: Dissolve Reduless in 10 times it's weight in water and add immediately to the wine. Stir the wine gently to ensure a thorough homogenization. Rack or filter after 72 hours. Recommended Dosage: 0.4-0.6 g/gal. The maximum amount of copper that can be released into the wine using Reduless at the recommended dosage is 0.02 ppm.
