The MoreBeer! tap handle is designed to work with our full lineup of recipe kits. Each recipe sheet has a custom color cut out that can be slipped into the handle. We had a lot of fun creating over 150 original designs when the tap handle was originally released, and we continue to create new tap handle cut outs for every recipe kit we develop. We think you and your friends will love them.
Not using a MoreBeer! kit? No problem! Each new tap handle also comes with a removable, erasable chalkboard surface. Additionally, the back of the tap handle features a chalkboard surface that can be written on as well, which is handy and cool if your tap handle is seen from both sides. The insert is made of a thin sheet of metal and coated with chalkboard paint. The outer portion of the tap handle is made of wood and also painted with chalkboard paint.
Note: You might need to use a bonnet angler (D1270) if you converted an upright refrigerator. Bonnet anglers allow longer tap handles to sit in a more vertical position so they do not angle back and hit the refrigerator door or wall.

Your custom-made tap handle will be the talk of the party!
You can create your own tap handle and mount it with this threaded insert. Simply drill a 1/2" hole in the bottom of your wooden piece and thread the D1299 with a flathead screwdriver (a coin can also be used in a pinch!). When you’re finished, mount your custom tap handle to your faucet, pull a pint and admire your handiwork!
Internal threads are 3/8", 16 thread-per-inch. Mounts to any standard faucet.

This kit includes our Stainless Faucet, Stainless 4" Shank with 1/4" nipple, and a Faucet knob, combined into one. Please note that the actual useable length of the shank will be about 3 5/8", due to the hex nut and tailpiece attached to it.
For repairing a broken tap handle of building one from scratch. The tap ferrule is the piece you'll see at the bottom of most tap handles and is where the handle is screwed onto the faucet lever. You will also need hanger bolts (D2532) to screw the ferrule into a wood tap handle.
