This cast iron wide-profile banjo burner is strong and efficient, topping our ratings in getting wort to a quick boil, while using the same amount or less of propane. Adjusted for efficiency this banjo burner produces around 70,000 BTU/hr, and in full, this banjo burner mode produces 100,000 btu.
Banjo burners can often times have issues when using with low flame output. We sourced and tested a number of different units, before settling on this one, which performs great at low output.
Uses 3/8" male flare fitting (included).

This banjo burner requires a propane regulator to function properly. We recommend a Wind Guard with these units if brewing outdoors. If using indoors, you must have proper ventilation in the form of an overhead cooking hood.
These leg extensions allow the Anvil Brewing burner to raise to a height of 24". Now easily transfer to another container, such as a carboy, with just the use of gravity. You can also set up a 2 tier brew system.
Perfect for 5 to 20 gallon batch sizes. 3 7/8'' wide at the widest point. You will need our high-pressure, adjustable pressure regulator to operate burner. This is a ring style burner and not a jet burner. The flame distribution and control is great and not concentrated like a jet burner. Will not work with low pressure propane (house propane) or with natural gas.
Ideally you want to install these about 4-6 inches below the kettle.
These burners do not come with a brass jet. If you need the brass jet for attaching regulator tubing with flare outputs please purchase the H205J.
If you intend on plumbing these you will need either a GSS008 or H233 to connect to your gas system.
