Tilt™ Hydrometer and Thermometer - Blue

    21 reviews

Track your fermentation progress without ever disturbing your wort! The Tilt Hydrometer and Thermometer is added directly to your fermenter to provide real-time data on the current gravity and temperature of your wort, eliminating the hassle and potential contamination that comes from opening your fermenter to pull samples. The Tilt is especially useful for brewers fermenting in glass carboys or plastic fermenters that don't have spigots for sample taking. Designed for homebrewing, the Tilt hydrometer lets you instantly read your brew's specific gravity and temperature on your compatible Apple iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone/tablet or Tilt Pi. Most Bluetooth 4.0+ devices will work with the Tilt. You can then optionally log data to the cloud using their free Google Sheets template or other 3rd party cloud platforms. Tilt's goal is to help homebrewers brew better beer. The Tilt hydrometer allows you to check the specific gravity and temperature of your beer while it's fermenting, without ever having to open your fermenter or pour out any of your precious brew. This makes brewing more consistent and easier to track. Here are some of the new features of the Tilt: Range: Better reception and range. With the increased transmission power your Tilt will send data through larger, thicker-walled fermenters. Precision: Upgraded sensors. With an improved temperature sensor and accelerometer your Tilt will operate with more precision.   Efficiency: Reduced power consumption so more brews, less battery changing. New Look: Newly designed custom circuit board and harness. If using multiple Tilt hydrometers for different batches of fermenting beer you must use a different color for each batch. The app will not read multiple hydrometers of the same color. Each Tilt comes calibrated and ready to go with a pre-installed battery that lasts 12-24 months depending on usage. Just download the free app, sanitize your Tilt, drop it in your fermenter, and start taking readings with your phone, tablet, or Tilt Pi. The specific gravity is accurate +/- 0.002 within the Tilt's range of 0.990 to 1.120. The thermometer is accurate +/- 1°F (+/- 0.5°C). Download the free Tilt app at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or get the free Tilt Pi download.

Fermentap Dial Thermometer - 3 in. Face x 2.5 in. Probe

    22 reviews

This thermometer will be a great addition to your homebrewing setup. The shorter 2.5" probe works great in a boil kettle or hot liquor tank because it’s easier to work around. Keep in mind that some brewers feel this is too short for a mash tun and prefer a longer thermometer which reaches closer to the center of the mash. (See our MT514 for the same thermometer with a 6" probe.)   Thermometer has an easy-to-read 3" Face, and 1/2" MPT threads on the back to connect to your kettle. The metal stem is durable and won’t break like glass can. 33 reviews

Not all bi-metal thermometers are created equally, so if you’re looking for one that you don’t have to constantly tap to get an accurate reading, this is the thermometer to choose.   Other bi-metal thermometers have a helical coil in the stem that is tack welded to the stem itself causing hang ups to occur, and you have to tap the thermometer to get an accurate reading. Our new line of thermometers feature a super sensitive bimetallic helical coil suspended from a copper coated bushing fixed in the stem. This superior design provides a faster response to temperature changes and assures more accurate readings.   It's accurate to 1% of the total range, and it features a polished 2" stainless steel housing, hermetically sealed waterproof case and glass face for maximum durability. The unique anti-parallax dial also makes for easy reading.    This dial thermometer should be calibrated at 150 °F. Its temperature range is 0-220 °F (-10 to 100 degrees °C).

In-Line Thermometer With Quick Disconnect (QD)

    18 reviews

This high quality thermometer features stainless steel quick disconnects for easy installation in line with the rest of your brewing system, and many users install it on the “out” side of their convoluted heat exchangers and counterflow chillers. As the wort runs through the body of the in-line thermometer it runs across the 2-inch thermometer probe, giving an instant and incredibly accurate reading of its exact temperature. Ryan Barto, our Fulfillment Operations Manager and also the thermometer’s inventor, says that this handy device will help you to keep better control of your mash temperatures, and makes it easier to transfer your wort to your conical through the counterflow chiller.

    BrewBuilt® Thermometer | 3" Dial Face | 2.5" Probe

BrewBuilt Bi-Metal Thermometers are top-of-the-line measuring instruments, made in the USA by Tel-Tru manufacturing.  Maintain the overall precision of your brew system with these incredibly accurate and generally superior thermometers.  These are produced according to strict standards, comparable to ISO9000 quality, and are set up with an 8 year manufacturers warranty boasting that quality. Bi-metal thermometers are the level of quality you want when a few degree difference results in a completely different malt profile on your beer.  While a bit more expensive, you won't ever mess up a batch because of incorrect temperature readings.  The 2.5" Stem is a perfect balance of being long enough to get accurate readings, while not protruding far enough to get hit by a wandering mash paddle or spoon. Are all bi-metal thermometers created equal? Not really. The problem with most bi-metal thermometers is that hang ups occur and you have to tap the thermometer to get an accurate reading. The cause of the problem is that the bimetallic helical coil in the stem of other bi-metal thermometers is tack welded to the stem itself. Our new line of thermometers feature a super sensitive bimetallic helical coil suspended from a copper coated bushing fixed in the stem. This superior design provides a faster response to temperature changes and assures more accurate readings. What does this mean? You don't have to tap the gauge with your finger as much. They are also accurate to 1% of the total range, feature a polished 3" 304 s/s housing, a hermetically sealed water proof case, glass face, external calibration capabilities, and a unique anti-parallax dial that provides for easy reading. The reading is actually taken from the last 2.5" of the probe. Features: Large 3" Dial Face for easy readings 2.5" Stem perfect for Boil Kettles and HLTs High Grade Stainless Steel Construction and hermetically sealed casing Can be calibrated with 1/16" Allen Wrench (Though should never be needed) Dual Scale Range: 0-220° F, -10 to 100° C Back Connection is 1/2" MPT, stem is 1/4" SS 8 year Manufacturer Warranty

  • Double Laser Infrared Thermometer Gun Double Laser Infrared Thermometer Gun

    Double Laser Infrared Thermometer Gun

    1 review

Take temperature readings instantly and from a safe distance with this infrared thermometer gun. Use it to check how close you are to the hot break before your boil, or measure the temp of your empty mash tun and grains to help predict temperature loss when you add strike water and mash in. Dual lasers is an important feature when choosing infrared thermometers because it allows for much higher accuracy. When measuring an object, a dual laser thermometer gun will help you greatly in finding the convergence point of the measured target and spot ratio. This can only be achieved with a dual laser unit. Features: Double Laser pointer for higher accuracy Simple one-handed operation Laser ON/OFF switch Low battery indication LED backlight Reads in °F / °C Automatic shutdown after 15 seconds Display hold, Scan function FCC, CE, ROHS Certified Notes: 1. When using this product to measure temperature, consider the ratio between the distance (the length from the product to the measured object) and the size of the measurement area, referred to as the object distance ratio. When the distance between the product and the measured object increases, the measurement area will increase accordingly. 2. If you want to use boiled water to measure the unit's accuracy, do not allow smoke or water vapor to contact the temperature sensing area, and keep the measurement angle at 45 ~ 60 degrees.   KegLand Item Number: KL21883

  • BrewBuilt Thermometer - 6" stem x 3" dial, 1/2" MPT BrewBuilt Thermometer - 6" stem x 3" dial, 1/2" MPT

    BrewBuilt® Thermometer | 3" Dial Face | 6" Probe

The 6" Stem here is perfect for Mash Tuns, as it will reach further into the mash to get a more representative reading. Features: Large 3" Dial Face for easy readings 6" Stem perfect for Boil Kettles and HLTs High Grade Stainless Steel Construction and hermetically sealed casing Can be calibrated with 1/16" Allen Wrench (Though should never be needed) Dual Scale Range: 0-220° F, -10 to 100° C Back Connection is 1/2" MPT, stem is 1/4" SS 8 year Manufacturer Warranty

  • Digital Oven Thermometer Digital Oven Thermometer

    Digital Oven Thermometer

    1 review

Like many thermometers that were built for cooking and food processing, we find this digital oven thermometer to be just as useful for brewing applications. The cable allows you to place the temperature probe where needed and view the temperature reading from a convenient location. Especially helpful if your mash tun or hot liquor tank sit high up on a tiered gravity system. It also has a programmable alarm for when you hit your temp and a timer function you can use to track your mash progress or boil additions. Please note: the cable attached to the probe is not waterproof so be careful to not let it be fully submerged. If this does occur and your readings are off, you can place the probe in the oven (leaving the plug outside) and bake for 1 hour at 375°F to boil the moisture out of the probe. Broad temperature operating range 0-250°C (32–482°F) Temperature display resolution 1 degree C Timer range 99 min 59 sec Timer alarm function High temperature alarm function Celsius and Fahrenheit display option Battery operated 1xAAA
