Privacy policy
MoreFlavor!, including MoreBeer.com, MoreWine.com, MoreCoffee.com, MoreWinePro.com, and MoreBeerPro.com, is dedicated to complete customer privacy and online shopping security.
We designed our sites to allow you to further your education, easily purchase products you need, and sign up for promotional items. To make this all work, we collect information about you which we use to both fulfill your online purchases and customize your online experience.
This information is only used internally. We do not sell any part of your personal information to anyone. Ensuring your privacy and maintaining an up-to-date policy is important to us. Our policy may change over time, so please check back periodically for any changes. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us at privacy@morebeer.com.
1. What information do you collect?
MoreFlavor collects two types of information from its visitors: voluntary and involuntary. Each type of information helps us provide a customized shopping experience and allows us to better serve the needs of our customers.
Voluntary Information: Information you provide by filling in a form that specifies who you are. We only require this information when you request information or when you place online purchases. This may include your name, address (billing and shipping), email address, phone number, and credit card number (purchases only). This information is used to fulfill your request and aid in simplifying future transactions.
Involuntary Information: Information transmitted to our server by a web browser. Your web browser specifies the IP (Internet Protocol) address from which you are browsing and the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) where you came from, but nothing specific about you. We gather your IP address, the type of web browser you are using, and the URL you just came from.
2. How do you collect information and what do you do with it?
Our servers collect involuntary information automatically. The most important to us is data that shows us the most popular pages on our site and what people purchase from them. This information helps improve morebeer.com to better serve your needs.
- Browsing or shopping: IP addresses, URLs, and browser types are collected for website administration. This helps us understand which site you came from, the browser you are using, your country/state, pages viewed, and search terms used.
- Ordering: The voluntary information you supply when ordering allows us to properly fill your request.
- Cookies: See Section 8 below.
- Newsletters and email specials: We require voluntary information to provide future communications. You can stop this at any time by logging into My Account Details and updating your mailing list preferences.
3. Legal grounds for processing (GDPR)
For visitors located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with similar laws, we process personal data on the following legal grounds:
| Processing activity | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Fulfilling orders, processing payments, and providing customer support | Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Account creation and account management | Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Marketing emails, SMS, and promotional communications | Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) — you may withdraw consent at any time |
| Website analytics, fraud prevention, and security monitoring | Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating, securing, and improving our sites |
| Advertising and retargeting via cookies and pixels | Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) where required |
| Tax, accounting, and other regulatory record-keeping | Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)) |

SMS consent and third parties
We value your privacy and strict adherence to mobile compliance standards. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
5. Social media platforms
Our websites may include content from, links to, or embedded features from social media platforms, including:
- Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
- YouTube (Google LLC)
- TikTok (ByteDance Ltd.)
- Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
When you interact with embedded social media content (e.g., watching an embedded YouTube video, viewing an Instagram feed, or clicking a social share button), those platforms may collect information about your device, IP address, browsing behavior, and — if you are logged into the platform — your account activity. This data collection is governed by each platform's own privacy policy:
- Instagram / Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
- YouTube / Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/us/privacy-policy/en
We recommend reviewing each platform's privacy notice to understand how they process your data.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Specifically:
- Order and transaction records are retained for at least 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and consumer protection requirements.
- Customer account information is retained for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business purposes (typically up to 7 years from your last activity).
- Marketing email and SMS subscriber data is retained while you remain subscribed and for a limited period after you unsubscribe, to honor your opt-out and prevent re-contact.
- Website analytics and cookie data is retained according to the retention settings of each analytics provider, typically between 14 months and 26 months.
- Customer support correspondence is retained for up to 3 years after the matter is resolved.
When personal data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Rights under GDPR (EEA and UK residents)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Right to restriction of processing — request that we limit how we process your data.
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@morebeer.com.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence. You can find a list of EU/EEA supervisory authorities at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en. UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk.
Rights under California law (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@morebeer.com.
Updating your information
You may update your voluntary information at any time by logging into My Account Details. This will change your current information but will not eliminate information used in past transactions, as that may be needed to service those transactions.
Removing yourself from email lists
If you wish to be removed from our email distribution list, log into My Account Details and update your mailing list preferences, or click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
8. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file controlled by your browser that is stored on your computer. Each entry can only be read by the server that wrote it. Cookies may store information such as your user identification number, your first and last name, and your email address. If you use the same computer each time you visit the site, cookies are used to welcome you back and to simplify the ordering process.
Use of cookies for SMS marketing: The website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart, and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.
Use of cookies for advertising and analytics: We and our partners (including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Microsoft Clarity) use cookies and similar technologies to measure site performance, understand how visitors use our site, and serve relevant advertising on other websites you visit.
While it is possible to turn off cookies in your browser, we do not recommend doing so as it will make shopping on our site difficult or impossible. If you do not want the system to remember you, go to My Account and click the "Don't Remember Me on this Computer" link.
9. How do you protect my information?
We value your personal information and go to great lengths to protect it. Our security is consistent with current industry standards. Voluntary information entered on our site is protected on our secure server through industry-approved encryption, as well as firewall and encryption technology for our administrative servers.
We use SSL/TLS encryption confirmed through an SSL Server Certificate. Your order is not emailed to us; it resides on our secure server and is password-protected. Using a secure connection to our server, we pull information to our firewall-protected internal network.
