  • Cryo Hops - Amarillo - PLACEHOLDER

    Amarillo® Brand VGXP01 | Cryo Hops®

Use for hoppy beer styles including Hazy IPA, West Coast IPA, Pale Ales, or Hoppy Lagers Aroma Profile: Citrus, Herbal, Spicy, Stone Fruit, Woody Alpha Acids: 13.0 – 20.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer! Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor.  It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil. Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material. Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier. • Sale -30% Distilled Hop Oil - El Dorado 1 ML Distilled Hop Oil - El Dorado 1 ML

Distilled Hop Oil - El Dorado 1 ML

    10 reviews

Distilled hop oil is an amazing new product we are making available to homebrewers.  Distilled hop oil varies from other oils in that it is produced from fresh hops, as opposed to dried and processed pellets.  Distilled hop oil delivers the same wet hop character that was previously only possible to acquire with the use of freshly harvested hops.  The oil is extremely shelf stable, so you can now brew a consistant fresh hop IPA all year long. Extremely volatile, this oil should only be used for aromatic applications; typically applied at bottling/kegging.   Distilled hop oil is very potent; add to taste. We recommend using roughly 0.5-1 ml per 5 gallon batch, if replacing 50-100% of a dry hop, added directly to the beer prior to bottling or during kegging. Be careful to not push off the volatile aromatic compounds (disturb the beer as little as possible and reduce oxygen exposure). Most staff members here found that 1ml per 5 gallons was "too hoppy" when replacing 100% of the dry hop.  Hop heads (myself included), found that the 1 ml per 5 gallon dosage gave a pungent, fresh, pleasurable and unique hop experience.  Tasting these oils is as close to being in Yakima for hop harvest as possible!

    1 review

Suitable for both hops and steeping grains. We highly recommend using a steeping bag for hops to keep vegetal matter contained in the boil kettle and out of your fermenter. If you use a counterflow chiller or plate chiller for cooling, filtering hops is even more important as these devices can clog if too much hop matter passes through them. The hop sock does not have a drawstring. You will want to tie the end in a knot to keep it closed. Dimensions: 150 mm wide (5.9") 800 mm long (31.4") KegLand Part Number: KL01281

    Tartaric Acid

    1 review

For the beer maker who is also intrigued with making wine.   MoreWine!'s Tartaric Acid is processed naturally in Europe from grapes and is the preferred acid for adjusting acid levels in wine. Be aware that a lot Tartaric Acid available to home winemakers is artificially made, comes from China, and does not integrate into the wine as well. Some of this tartaric includes the designation of "food-grade". Because MoreWine! packages this product you can be assured you are getting the highest winery-grade quality.   3.8g per gallon adjusts acidity by +.1%.    As a note: some tartaric acid will drop out of suspension as potassium bitartrate if you are doing any cold stabilization. You might want to re-test total acidity after cold stabilization.

4 °L - Viking Malt - Viking CaraBody Malt is a gently malted and slightly caramelized specialty malt. Flavor is soft and balanced containing clear cereal note. The taste impact is modest but slight sweetness and malty notes can be found. Main intention of this malt is to give extra body to any beer but especially to low colored beers like lagers. This malt will also improve head retention and foam quality. Viking CaraBody Malt is produced from 2-row brewing barleys. Use up to 10% to add body, mouthfeel, and improve head formation/retention. Viking Malt is one of the largest malting companies in the world and the largest roaster of specialty malts. They are the main malt supplier to the famous Carlsberg brewery. Viking is not well known in the USA because they haven't had good US distribution. Because MoreBeer! and MoreBeer! Pro is directly importing thousands of tons of malt we are stoked to offer you Northern European malt quality from one of the best malting companies in the world at lower than domestic malt pricing.  Viking Malt has 6 malthouses in areas where distinctive Nordic barley are sourced: in Halmstad, Sweden; Vordingborg, Denmark; Lahti, Finland; Panevezys, Lithuania and in Sierpc and Strzegom, Poland.  The advantage of northern European malt is lower protein levels, good kernel size, and less amount of pesticides used due to the cold winters. Kveik Yeastery | K.14 Eitrheim | Multi-Strain Kveik Yeast | Dry Beer Yeast

    1 review

Produces beers with dominant apricot and peach flavors, complemented by subtle notes of orange and pineapple Multi-Strain Kveik Yeasts are original blends of kveik yeast cultures rather than isolated single-strain yeasts Ferments effectively across a broad spectrum (59-100°F), offering flexibility for various beer styles Achieves complete fermentation in as little as 72 hours at optimal temperatures (88-95°F), speeding up the brewing process Well-suited for a variety of beer styles, including IPA, Pale Ale, NEIPA, Stouts, and Porters Eitrheim multi-strain comes from Reidar Eitrheim in Tokheim. The flavor and aroma primarily derive from apricot and peach, with secondary notes of orange and pineapple. Eitrheim ferments well between 59-100°F and will ferment faster at higher temperatures. At an optimal temperature of 88-95°F, you can expect fermentation to take up to 72 hours. Eitrheim is suitable for IPAs, pale ales, and NEIPAs. The Eitrheim kveik comes from Reidar Eitrheim from Tokheim, Norway. Tokheim is located close to Odda in the heart of the Hardangerfjord and next to the Folgefonna National Park. The yeast has been passed on for generations, and Reidar got it from his grandfather. The yeast is very versatile and can be used in different beer types such as IPA, Pale Ale, NEIPA, Stouts, and Porters. The Multi-Strain Difference Kveik Yeastery's unique multi-strain kveik yeasts capture the true essence of traditional Norwegian farmhouse brewing, delivering a depth of flavor and robust fermentation unmatched by single-strain alternatives. While other suppliers offer isolated kveik strains, Kveik Yeastery is the only source for authentic, dried multi-strain blends, providing brewers with the complex, nuanced profiles that define classic kveik. These diverse blends offer a superior brewing experience, unlocking the full potential of this remarkable yeast. Flavor and Aroma Primary flavors: Apricot and peach Secondary flavors: Orange and pineapple The intensity is medium at high fermentation temperatures, and at lower temperatures, it will be less intense. Fermentation Eitrheim ferments well from 59°F up to 100°F. The higher fermentation temperature, the faster fermentation. At the optimum temperature 88-95°F expect fermentation to finish in 72 hours. When fermentation is done at low temperatures you can expect fermentation time to increase. For high gravity beers, we recommend users to pitch two packs of yeast and add yeast nutrition to ensure a healthy fermentation. Pitching Pitch directly into wort by sprinkling it across the surface, or rehydrate yeast. For fermentation below 64°F, or high gravity, increase pitching rate to 2.25 g/Gal. One 7 g sachet treats 5 to 8 gallons of wort. One 300 g brewery pouch treats 8.5 bbl of wort.   Effective Fermentation Temp: 59-100°F Optimum Fermentation Temp: 88-95°F Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 12% ABV Attenuation: Medium

  • Sale -10% Erlenmeyer Flask - 1000 ml

    Erlenmeyer Flask - 1000 mL

    9 reviews

The best brewers make large yeast starters to get their beer fermenting fast. Large populations of active yeast help ensure flavorful beer free of off flavors. Our 1000ml Erlenmyer Flask is the ideal vessel to make a large yeast starter for 5 gallon batches. Because it is made from borosilicate glass you can move it from a boil on your gas stove into a cold water bath for cooling, without the risk of cracking. (We do not recommend the use of an electric element. If this cannot be avoided, we recommend using a larger pot as a hot water bath on the stove.) This means you can do the whole process in one container, keeping it simple and helping to reduce the risk of contamination when transferring from one container to another. Recommended Process for Use of Flask: Double Boiler Method It is important for your safety to heat water in the flask with a heat source that distributes heat evenly. Our manufacturer has confirmed that direct heat to the glass can break down its integrity and break if the heat source doesn't distribute evenly. Morebeer! recommends using the "double boiler method." This process involves using a boiling water bath on the outside of the flask to heat up the water inside the flask. All you need is a kettle 3 gallons or larger. This process is much safer and efficient. If the flask should break or boil over, your kettle will be there to collect the contents, thus keeping your stove clean and keeping you away from potential harm. Features 1L (1000mL) Capacity Made from Borosilicate Glass Fantastic price for a flask of this size Produced for MoreBeer! Why make a yeast starter? (from our FAQ) We build starters for 3 main reasons. First, to ensure yeast health. By making a starter 1-3 days in advance, you ensure that your yeast is healthy and strong and ready to do its job. Second, to create more yeast. By making the starter you will increase the cell count of the yeast, giving you a better chance of keeping bacteria's and wild yeasts from fermenting your wort. Third, if you are making high gravity beers. If you are making a high gravity beer (1.060+) you will need more yeast to start the ferment faster. High gravity beers will also finish more completely when you pitch ample quantities of yeast. Fits our stopper 8 (FE45) In the lab world, these flasks are known as "Student Grade". A great flask for making yeast starters!(Student grade is not the highest grade flasks and will have minor defects) Kegland Part Number: KL03971

Voss was somewhat isolated from the larger cities, and most people were farming and self-sustained. People shared kveik mainly with each other, and because of the distance to other settlements, the kveik was rarely mixed with other types. The Voss kveik is unique in taste and aroma, much because of the great work done by Sigmund and others to preserve the yeast throughout the years. Oxygen Flow Meter w/ Duotight Fittings

    7 reviews

Take the guesswork out of oxygenation with this handy flow meter. If you're using pure O2 to oxygenate your wort, you're likely using a disposable cylinder with a simple brass regulator, and have no way to measure how much oxygen is actually being added. You're essentially left to finding the "sweet spot" on the dial when you open the regulator and aim for the same spot on the next use. Get repeatable results by adding this flow meter to your setup. This device will allow you to dial in the flow rate and help you add the same amount of oxygen from batch to batch. The flow meter comes with male flare thread inlet and outlet and includes two Duotight fittings. It's ready for use with 8 mm OD EVABarrier tubing right out of the box, or you can add a swivel nut and barb for use with other size tubings. Once yeast pitching temperatures are reached, we recommend using a 0.5 micron diffusion stone and adding pure O2 at a 1L/minute flow rate for 60 seconds to acheive the recommened 10-14 ppm dissolved oxygen. Features: 1/4" Male Flare Inlet/Outlet Duotight Fittings for 8 mm OD Tubing Included Scaled for 0.1 to 1.5 L/min Flow Rate 3.6" H x 0.9" W Kegland Part number: KL13185

Use this barbed fitting with our 1/2" ID Silicone tubing for a better fit. Because Silicone tubing is soft and flexible it actually fits much better on this over sized 5/8" OD barb than on a 1/2" OD barb. Designed and made by MoreBeer! to maximize flow this fitting is also perfect for use when a March or Chugger High-Flow pump as it allows a larger volume of wort to enter the pump, decreasing instances of cavitation. Please note: If using 1/2" ID vinyl tubing, we recommend using hot water to heat the tubing up for easier insertion. Not recommended for use with thick wall 1/2" vinyl tubing.

    Duotight Push-In Fitting - 8 mm (5/16 in.) Tee

This Duotight fitting makes it easy to split your gas line and run it to multiple kegs. Use one tee for a dual tap kegerator or two tees for a triple tap. You can also pair the tee with the Push-In Pressure Gauge to use the gauge with the BlowTie Spunding Valve. Compatible with EVABarrier 8 mm OD Tubing (D1717 & D1718). Duotight fittings are high-quality push-in fittings that seal tight and offer superior sealing capacity due to the double O-ring sealing design. High Performance Double O-Ring Design: The secret to Duotight’s superior sealing performance comes from the fact that they use not one, but two high-quality EPDM O-rings. The double O-ring means they have literally twice the sealing surface when compared with other push-in fittings. This makes them more reliable and significantly reduces the chance of leakage. The double O-ring system also means that tubing can be bent at a much tighter radius without causing leaking issues, which can be an issue with other fittings. This combination of factors makes Duotight the most reliable push-in fittings on the market. EPDM offers excellent chemical resistance for a longer life span. When compared with silicone and vinyl, EPDM has much better gas transmission rates, better wear resistance, and is BPA-free. No Clamps Necessary! We recommend cutting your tubing straight, not on an angle, to ensure the line forms a complete seal. To remove the fitting simply push in the collet and the hose can be removed. Features: Insert tubing and firmly push to connect Easily release tubing by pushing in the collet Suitable for both gas & beverage applications Made from food-grade acetal plastic Double O-rings made from highly chemical resistant EPDM Locking teeth made from stainless steel Pressure rated to 150 psi Temperature rated to 212°F (100°C) Please note: exposure to chlorine will degrade the acetal plastic and stainless steel these fittings are made from.
