If you prefer a hoppy beer, you’re likely concerned with keeping the hops in your boil kettle and out of your fermenter during your home brewing. The Blichmann Hop Blocker is a handy brewing accessory that promises to keep those hops out of the fermenter and securely in the boil kettle, all without disrupting the rest of the brewing process. Through rigorous and repetitive testing, Blichmann Engineering has determined that the 90 percent to 95 percent of the hop material is left behind when using the Blichmann Hop Blocker to transfer your brew to the fermenter.
