1/4 in. barb and 1/4 in. swivel nut for flare fitting connections. If you're connecting to stainless steel or brass, you will also need a nylon flare washer to form a seal. Plastic quick disconnects (QDs) on the other hand, have a built-in washer so the additional nylon flare washer is not needed. The barb and nut are both made from stainless steel. If your home draft system is a mix of ball lock kegs and commercial sanke kegs, having a coupler with ball lock adapters is a huge plus. This allows you to have all your draft lines ending in a ball lock quick disconnect, making it quick and easy to swap lines from sanke keg to ball lock. Note that the gas-in adapter has a small line cut into the body of the adapter where the bev-out adapter is smooth. The check valves will need to be installed before first use. Nylon washers are used to create a seal between metal-to-metal 1/4" flare fitting connections. Most often used with stainless steel ball lock quick disconnects to prevent leaks. These washers are not necessary when connecting female flare fittings to plastic male flare QDs that have a plastic washer built-in. The KOMOS shank wrench is designed to tighten the nut on the back of a faucet shank. It is double offset for clearance inside of coffin boxes and larger round towers and to move the handle away from the insulation or other nearby objects. The KOMOS D-Style coupler is built for use with the most common commercial sanke kegs sold in the USA. Featuring stainless steel body and stainless steel probe, this keg tap is made to last. Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. Stainless steel shank comes with a back nut, plastic collar, and a 3/16" tailpiece with hex nut and gasket. If desired, the barb can be removed and swapped for a different size or replaced with a Duotight x Beer Thread Adapter. This size of beer shank is a popular choice for building your own custom draft system.
