Interested in filtering your homebrew? Well you've come to the right place! With either our 10" cartridge filter or plate filter, you'll have clearer, cleaner tasting beer in no time! We also have a water filter kit which helps to remove chlorine and chloramines from your brewing water.
Improve the flavor and quality of your beer by filtering your water.
This 10" Carbon Block Filter removes chlorine, organic flavor and sediment from your tap water to 10 micron. Open the housing after use and store the filter dry to prevent algae from growing inside the housing. Designed to work with our filter housing or any other standard, 10" housing. Good for 750 gallons.
We’ve been told by manufacturers that chloramines can be removed by carbon filtration if the water has a long contact time with the carbon. It is recommended to use at a fill rate of less than 1 gallon per minute in order to remove chloramines.
NOTE: This product should not be used in hot water applications. Cold water only!
This product is designed to filter water only.
NSF standard 42
Filter your tap water and eliminate that no-win decision of "should I buy expensive bottled water or use the chlorinated water from the tap." This water filter kit features a 10" carbon block filter that removes all chlorine and organic flavor. Kit includes 10" housing, one carbon block filter, garden hose attachment, barbed fittings and 6' of 3/8" vinyl tubing. The carbon block should be replaced after filtering approximately 800 gallons of water or after 1 year of use, whichever comes first. Filter should be disassembled and stored dry when not in use.
NOTE: This product should not be used in hot water applications. Cold water only!
This product includes a carbon filter and is designed to filter water only (Carbon filters should not be used to filter beer or wine).
BevBright's one micron filters are disposable, multi-zoned, cartridge style filters perfect for filtering beer with any standard 10" filter cartridge housing. BevBright achieves superior efficiency by being the first to spin different diameters of poly strands on the same filter core to create zones of filtration. The zone closest to the core contains consistent, tight fibers for final filtration while the final outer layer zone is spun with larger fibers for increased sediment holding capacity and increased flow capacity. The best of both worlds. By comparison typical spun poly water filters are spun with only one size of fiber. Note that these are True 10" Filter Cartridges that rely upon the housing being closed tightly in order to engage the Knife Seals & eliminate bypass.
1 Micron Filters
Use a 1 micron filter for crystal clear filtration when your beer has already naturally settled out. Too many yeast cells in solution will quickly clog a 1 micron filter. Is your beer cloudy to the eye? Try a 3 micron or 5 micron filter.
What Retention Efficiency rating should I choose?
We suggest you start with the 98% Super High Efficiency rated filters and adjust from there.
90% High Efficiency - Removes 90% of the material 1 micron or larger in a single pass.
98% Super High Efficiency - Removes 98% of the material 1 micron or larger in a single pass.
99.8% Absolute Efficiency - Removes 99.8% of the material 1 micron or larger in a single pass.
More Information on Efficiency Ratings
The efficiency rating tells you what % of material, at the given micron rating, will be filtered out in a single pass. Cheaper spun poly water filters are never rated for efficiency because they only remove 60-80% of the material at a given micron rating in a single pass. BevBright offer three levels of efficiency to fit any brewers budget or need.
The High Efficiency rated filters work better than any 1 micron rated hardware store spun poly filters . The Super High Efficiency filters represent great value. They remove 98% of material in a single pass for just a little bit more money. Absolute rated filters are more typically used in the wine industry but are available for discerning brewers that want the highest efficiency possible.
Connect two ball lock homebrewing kegs together via their ball lock our fittings. Handing for moving sanitizer or beer from one keg to the next. We often use this fitting when we have a big party where we dixie chain kegs together. For example if you made 10 gallons of pale ale you can use this jumper to connect the two kegs so that all 10 gallons can pour at once.
The beer filter gets installed inline between two ball lock Cornelius kegs using CO2 pressure to push the beer out of the full keg through the filter and into the clean keg. This kit is designed to filter out particles down to 1 micron, which is considered fine filtration. At one micron the beer will be clear after filtration provided you do not have a starch haze. Filtering also accelerates the conditioning process to just a few days. Most of our customers who use the filtering kit find that they; keg beer, chill it overnight, filter the next day, carbonate, and are drinking clear beer in a couple days. For those who want to bottle beer without sediment, filtering combined with the use of a counter pressure bottle filler will allow you to put crystal clear, carbonated beer into bottle. The beer filtering kit comes with one 10" filter housing, a 1 micron 10" spun poly sediment filter, fittings for connection to the filter housing, 3' of beverage line, clamps, and two beverage out ball lock quick disconnects.
Spun-polypropylene filters are disposable filters and cannot be cleaned and used more than once. However, you can filter multiple kegs with one filter. 3 micron will remove most yeast, and 1 micron filtration will remove almost all yeast. All filters are rated nominal (will filter out 80-85% of matter at given rating). Temperature rated to 125°F.
BevBright's three micron filters are disposable, multi-zoned, cartridge style filters perfect for filtering beer with any standard 10" filter cartridge housing. 3 Micron Filters
3 micron filters are our recommended size if you have not filtered before. They are a good compromise between the fine filtration of 1 micron and the rougher filtration of 5 microns. Since yeast cells are sized between 5-10 micron a 3 micron filter will remove yeast.

5 Micron Filters
5 micron filters are the best choice when there is visible haze in your beer. A 5 micron filter will remove almost all yeast and is less likely to clog than a 3 or 1 micron filter. Already have pretty clear beer and just want to make it shine? Check out our 3 micron or 1 micron filters.

No more spillovers! Set your desired volume and walk away
Automatically collect water while you tend to other tasks
Great for collecting brewing water or mixing your cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
Illuminated display in splash resistant housing
Integrated solenoid valve cuts off flow when your set volume is dispensed
1/2" BSP inlet and outlet work well with Duotight or Type A Camlock fittings
Unlike other hose timers that simply measure time, the Fill-O-Meter measures volume and will automatically turn off when the programmed volume of water is dispensed. Enter your desired volume of water, press Start, and tend to other brew day prep work. Install in-line with your water filter to automatically collect filtered strike water, or measure out how much water you need to mix with cleaning chemicals for a precise dilution ratio.
We recommend setting up the Fill-O-Meter with either Duotight fittings or Type A Camlocks. Thread tape will be required for the Camlock. Use sparingly as too much plumber's tape can damage the plastic thread. And it is very important to never overtighten!
Displays real time flow rate and volume (Liters/Min or Gallons/Min)
Accurately measures and controls volumes at flow rates from 1-30L/Min (0.26-7.9Gal/Min)
Never overfill or spillover again
Splash resistant housing
Great for filling tanks, brewing kettles, distilling gear, mixing liquid and many other applications
Integrated flow meter and solenoid valve
Illuminated display for usage in the evening
Integrated sound alarm
Easy 1/2" BSP Inlet and Outlet
Automatic failsafe - flow is stopped if the unit loses power
Important Notes:
DO NOT flow liquid the wrong direction, it will break the unit.
DO NOT overtighten fittings onto the 1/2" ports.
DO NOT exceed temperatures greater than 104°F (40°C) through the unit.

KegLand Part Number: KL14694
Get organized in your brew area and mount your water or beer filter assembly to a wall or directly to your system. Brackets are designed to mount to the top of the canister housing. Screws included.
If you drink with your eyes, and prefer a crystal clear beer, then this really is the cheapest method to getting crystal clear beer with little to no effort. This beer filter is designed to be used with the KegLand 1 Micron Filter Cartridge. This filter works best when used as the middle man when transferring icy cold uncarbonated beer between two kegs. All you will need to do is purchase tubing, ball locks to connect to your kegs, and the filter cartrdige to use this system.
The included Duotight fittings are compatible with 9.5 mm OD EVABarrier draft tubing. You can connect this tubing to flare style ball lock disconnects using these 9.5 mm Duotight Flare Adapters.
Features:
Clear high-pressure housing
Purge valve to expel air pockets
1/2" BSP inlet and outlet
Compatible with other 10" filter systems
Note: This filter can also be used to filter out yeast in your distillation wash. Removing yeast before you put your wash into your boiler will significantly improve the quality of your final spirit. Many off flavors in distillation can come from boiling yeast cells. When the yeast cells get boiled, they break open releasing many off flavors aromas and fusel oils.
KegLand Part Number: KL02042
Most breweries and wineries use a large plate filter system to achieve clear product. Now you can do the same at home with two corny kegs. Our Beer and Wine Plate Filter Kit has a larger surface area, which means more yeast and particulate extraction than our cartridge filter, and comes with our plate filter, two disposable filter pads, tubing, flare fittings, and two flare beverage ball locks. This kit works great as either a beer or wine filter, but you may want to use different pads depending on the results you're hoping to achieve
Each filtering session requires two pads at a time, and each pad must be the same micron to work. The beer or wine is pushed out of the keg and into the housing at 5 PSI, where it passes on either side of the filter housing, then gets forced from the center through the pads, where it is then pushed out into your clean keg. The rough sides of both filters should be facing each other on the inside of the filter, so the smooth sides face outward.
Each filter pad set is good for approximately 5 gallons of beer when the beer has been filtered by the previous size pads or you are starting with the rough filters. These pads are not designed to be back flushed and reused and should be used in one session.
Having trouble loosening the lid of your 10" filter housing (FIL32A)? This spanner wrench will make it much easier. Our BevBright® filters require a tight seal of the lid onto the filter and this wrench is specifically designed to fit our 10" filter housing.
Filter pad number 2 from Buon Vino for Polish Filtration. Fits the Buon Vino Mini Jet (FIL20). Requires one 3 pack to run the filter. Fine are approximately 2 microns.
Clean up your beer and give it that sparkling clarity you see in commercial brews. Filtering removes yeast and dry-hop sediment, both of which can impart off flavors. It's also a great way to give your beer that extra edge in competition.
This two-pack of filter pads are for use with our FIL45 series of plate filters.
"Sterile" pads will provide between 0.3-0.5 Micron filtration.
Please Note: These pads do not remove 100% of bacteria. Only an bsolute rated, 0.45 micron or less cartridge filter can remove all bacteria. All pad filters are rated as "Nominal" filters, meaning a small percentage of the pores in the filter are larger than the stated micron rating. Only certain styles of cartridge filters carry an "Absolute" rating, meaning that all the pores are the stated micron size or smaller.
A high quality 10" filter housing is the central part of the filtering system you are building up from scratch. Whether you're looking to filter your water ahead of brewing or your finished beer prior to bottling/kegging, this housing will be there to hold your filter media year after year.
The same 10" housing found in our FIL32 kit. It has 1/2" FPT ports on both the "in" and "out" of the housing, allowing you to connect hose barbs, valves, or quick disconnects for a fully customized system. Can even be mounted on the wall with our Filter Canister Bracket!
For -pre-brewing water filtration, we recommend a Carbon Block filter.
For Filter Cartridges to filter beer, see our line of BevBright® Filters.
Please Note: This housing is for 10" filter cartridges. Many cartridge filters are 9.785" long, and will allow some bypass if used with this housing. We recommend BevBright® filter cartridges.
If you are having trouble removing the lid, try this spanner wrench!

20 x 20 cm custom Filter Pad for use specifically with the Buon Vino Super-Jet Filter. Pads are rated nominally, which means that the rating is an average of all of the sizes of pores in the media. Fine pads are rated to 2 microns nominal, and are appropriate for polish filtration of red and white wines. Typically the finest filtration a red wine will go through.
20 x 20 cm custom Filter Pad for use specifically with the Buon Vino Super-Jet Filter. Coarse pads are rated to 7 microns nominal, and are appropriate for initial clearing of red and white wines when particularly cloudy. With a nominal rated pad some material below the rating will be trapped and some material above the rating will be allowed to pass, the 7 micron represent an average.
With the BrewRO System you can have access to purified water any time you want without ever leaving the house! This multistage RO/DI water purification system removes 99.9998% of contaminants in water, giving you a clean slate to custom tailor your water profile for your next recipe. Water produced from the BrewRO system is 0 parts per million total dissolved solids. Now that's pure!
Water chemistry is perhaps one of the most important (and most intimidating) aspects of brewing a great beer. After all, water is one of the main ingredients! If the tap water at home isn't up to snuff, you probably find yourself making a trip to the store before every brew day to load up on distilled water. Using distilled water is a great strategy that enables you to build your water profile from scratch. This gives you total control over the water's mineral content and pH, allowing you to create the ideal water profile for any particular style. But the gallons upon gallons of store bought distilled water quickly add up, and only increase the cost of each brew day.
The BrewRO System comes in two configurations for either city water or well water. They function the same, but come with different filter configurations depending on your water source. Before entering the deionization filter and reverse osmosis membrane, the city water system runs water through two carbon filters, whereas the well water system runs through a sediment filter and then a single carbon filter. The system is conveniently contained within a carrying case with inlets and outlets built into the side. When you're ready to use the BrewRO, simply hook up the white inlet tube to your spigot with the included garden hose adaptor*, run the red "rejected water" tube to a storm drain or water reclamation bucket, and run the blue "treated water" tube to your collection vessel. It's that easy!

For our FIL20 Buon Vino Mini Jet. Requires one 3 pack to run the filter.
When using the Buon Vino Mini Jet Filter with sterile pads the home winemaker will want to "pre-filter" the wine with polish pads (FIL16) if the volume is 5 gallons or more, or if the wine is particularly cloudy. The sterile filters clog too fast when there is any sediment present. Sterile filters are approximately .5 micron.
High quality, absolute rated .45 micron absolute filter with a hard caged body and gasketed ends. Thermally bonded end caps and ultrasonic welded media seams for a one piece construction. Absolute rated at 99.99% efficiency to remove bacteria for sterile filtering. Ideal for filtering white wine that has not completed a full malolactic fermentation. Filters meet FDA Title 21 regulations for beverage contact. Will work with our 10 inch cannister filter.
What makes this filter really unique is the PES layer membrane with defined .45 micron hole size. This layer will not allow material to pass that is over .45 in size. This PES layer is also what makes this cartridge considerably more expensive than spun poly filters. Some cartridage filters are listed as being absolute but unless they have a PES layer they aren't.
Wine to be filtered should already be very clear as this filter will load up quickly with material. It is a common practice to prefilter already settled wine with a 1 micron spun poly filter and then filter with this .45 micron absolute filter.
Please note: these filters are not intended to be reusable.
Filter beer like the pros, only on a smaller scale. Most small breweries and wineries use a large plate filter system to achieve clear beer or wine. Now you can do the same at home. Our new plate filter has a larger surface area, which means more yeast and particulate extraction.
Each filtering session requires two filter pads at a time, and each pad must be the same micron to work. The product is pushed into the housing at 5 PSI and passes on either side of the plate filter housing, then gets forced through the filter pads to the center, where it is pushed out into your awaiting collection vessel, such as a keg or tank.
Includes 2 X 24" long hoses (5/16" ID x 7/16" OD)

We developed this product to relieve pressure when we transferred or filtered beer from one keg to another. This connects to the keg you are filtering into and has adjustable relief valve for letting pressure off as the keg fills up.
Notes: The very end of the pressure relief valve can be adjusted by unscrewing to adjust the pressure. If tight, and not adjustable by hand, it needs to be loosened with pliers. Wrap a towel around the end piece of the pressure relief valve (about the last 1/4 in) and loosen with pliers. Then finger tighten or loosen to desired pressure.
20cm x 20cm filter pads made for 20x20 plate filters. 9-10 micron pads are considered to be a "very rough" filtration and are typically used to prepare the wine to be filtered by finer pads, usually either 5-7 micron; or also to pre-filter white musts prior to fermentation. Please note that all pad filters are rated 'nominal', meaning that about 90-95% of all particulate matter at the micron rating will be filtered out. There will always be a little bit of smaller material that is also filtered out, as well as some larger material that will make it through.
The filters can be sterilized by in-line steam, auto-claving, dry heat, hot water or chemical methods. We choose to run Saniclean (CL27) solution through the pads followed by sterile water or a small amount of wine that is then discarded. After the solution is run through the pads, and the pads have softened, the filter will need to be re-tightened.
Each pad has an entry side and an exit side, distinguishable by their different textures. The entry side is a billowy type texture, frequently called the "rough" side; and the exit side has a crosshatch pattern and is commonly called the "smooth" side. For more information on how to load filter sheets into your plate and frame filter, see our Guide to Plate Filtering.

A .5 micron pad used for final filtration. When using the Buon Vino Super Jet Filter with sterile pads a homewinemaker will want to "pre-filter" the wine with polish pads (FIL16) otherwise you will certainly have early clogging issues. . The sterile filters clog too fast when there is any sediment present.
This compact filter is designed for the home wine maker who is filtering 5-10 gallons at a time. Perfect for filtering wine concentrate kits. There is a small built in Flojet pump (self-priming, diaphragm pump) that can be used for racking from container to the next by bypassing the filter pads. You will not want to filter wine which contains solids such as stems or oak chips. This will clog the pump and void the warranty.
Takes three pads to load this filter. Does not come with filter pads.
The intake and outtake tubes are 3/8" and the drip tray tube is 1/4".
