Novaflex is a special kink and crush resistant suction & discharge rubber hose, designed for those demanding applications requiring a product that meets 3-A (cert# 1803), FDA & USDA standards. This tube is for non-oily applications. Designed to meet the temperatures and chemical resistance associated with "cleaning in place" systems. The ultra smooth microbe resistant tube is built on special stainless steel mandrels for cleanliness.
The ForgeFit barbed connector and crimp sleeve system are designed to provide a long life and easy to clean hose connection. The long barb and the long sleeve provide a secure crimp without crushing the hose. Triple banding can slip or damage the hose during installation and has sharp edges. The ForgeFit hose barb skips the first barb to provide a gapless and smooth transition to the tubing to make it easier to keep clean. Our barb has a stop to ensure the hose does not creep closer to the clamp in service.
Don't forget to add hose bumpers to your order to protect your investment! The ForgeFit® Silicone Hose Bumper is designed to protect your hose ends by absorbing the impact of the hose end hitting the floor when it's dropped. The unique built in handle makes it easier to grab and saves your back.

ForgeFit's rubber hose bumper is the ideal choice for brewery hose ends. Rather than being made from rigid plastic, the soft silicone is designed to absorb impact and help protect hose end fittings that are being continuously picked up and dropped to the floor. The bumper will also keep the hose ends raised off the floor to keep the fittings sanitized and avoid contamination. The two large handles allow you to pick up a hot hose without grabbing onto it directly.
This bumper requires some forceful stretching to get over the 1.5" TC fitting.
1.49" ID to stretch over most 1" brewery hoses.

The perfect pump for moving wine from one vessel to the other. These Flexible Impeller Pumps are controlled by a Variable Frequency Drive, allowing for wine or juice transfers as fast as 20 gallons per minute, down to a complete stop. A sturdy Stainless Steel cart with nylon wheels allows for easy manueverability in the winery, and a lifetime of use. The pump can be controlled from the panel itself, or remotely via the wired controller, giving this workhorse even more flexibility.
We worked for a year to develop this particular pump with Enoitalia of Italy. The value and price are really amazing. So much that we stopped making our own line of Chunky Pumps at the end of 2016. Enoitalia has been making pumps for decades and while they are excellent at destemmer crushers and other equipment, pumps are their core specialty. We will support the pump in the USA with common spare parts but we also have the backing and support of Enoitalia if anything was to go wrong.
Although the Euro 30 is self-priming, the pump should never be run dry.

Heavy-duty, elliptical rotor, roll-in crush pad pump
Ideal pump for moving must or whole berries with little to no liquid
Stainless steel pump body with 3" tri-clamp connections
Hinged stainless door for inspection and cleaning
Made in Italy by EnoItalia
Gamma pumps are heavy duty, elliptical rotor, stainless steel pumps designed to move must from your destemmer to your fermentation tanks or bins. They are often referred to as Roll-in Crush Pad Pumps because they are on wheels and slide directly under your destemmer crusher. While rubber impeller pumps can be made to work for this purpose impeller pumps are not as good in situations where there is very little liquid. Examples would be when you are trying to process whole berries or processing very small berry cabernet sauvignon. Gamma pumps are also softer on the fruit than an impeller pump.
Elliptical Crush pad pumps are professional solutions. The Gamma 80 works with either our Jolly40 or Jolly60 while the Gamma180 works with the Jolly100.
Features:
Stainless steel pump body
Stainless Receiving hopper with screw
5.5 HP/4kW Motor

The Euro 60 Flexible Impeller pump is a 3" T.C. self-priming pump with a Stainless Steel head, controlled via a frequency inverter that allows for flow control from 0 - 100 gal / minute. These units can be controlled via the remote control on a 30' cord, or from the control panel mounted on the pump itself. Pumps are reversible, self-priming up to 15', and can be used with wine, juice, or must.
The wheeled pump cart allows for easy movement and maneuverability around the winery or crushpad, and stainless steel construction insures that it'll survive through hectic wine seasons! Completely food grade components have no impact on the quality of the wine, and a low shear value due to the larger TC fittings.
This pump is a true all around winery pump because it can be used with must and wine. If you have a commercial crush pad with a larger destemmer crusher like a Jolly40 or above, and you process small berries, you will want to consider the Gamma 80 as it works better with dry fruit (lots of skin and not as much flesh). However the Euro60 works well with most musts and then can be your work horse to move must and wine in the winery, making it a great value you can use year around.
Although the Euro 60 is self-priming, the pump should never be run dry.

Understanding the Wine Racking and Transferring Process Many first-time winemakers are confused by the term racking. This is an essential process in winemaking, but some instruction books aren’t helpful when it comes to clarifying it. Learn more about this process and find out where to go to order the essential racking equipment you need. Don’t let a lack of gear prevent you from enjoying excellent wine made right in your own home. Racking Defined This process simply involves moving wine from one container to another. There are a wide range of ways to perform this essential process. It typically needs to occur between two and four times when making wine. It’s important to handle this process carefully, or the fermentation process may not occur correctly. This could affect the quality of your wine or cause a dangerous buildup of gases in a sealed container. Learn more about and explore the tools of the trade. Racking allows you to siphon or pump wine in order to remove sediment. By transferring wine from one container to another, the leftover sediment is separated and the fermentation process can occur in an air lock. This is an important step in the process because this slows down the fermentation process. The first racking should occur after approximately five to seven days of fermentation. The next racking is typically performed after the fermentation process is complete. This can take anywhere from four days to five weeks. Any additional racking steps are simply to remove leftover sediment. Common Ways To Transfer Wine There are three common ways to transfer wine from one container to another. Proper racking doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does require a few pieces of equipment. Compare each one before ordering the essential racking equipment: Pumping Siphoning Barrel transferring A common way to handle large quantities of wine is a wine pump. These systems come in many sizes, shapes and specifications, but they all are capable of pumping wine from one container to another. Use a pump if gravity transfer isn’t possible in your winemaking situation. Compare pump types before purchasing one for your winemaking project. Some pumps aren’t designed to handle sediment, so they are only used for racking. Other pumps are capable of transferring all the contents of a wine barrel to another. A wine pump may be a fast and convenient option, but there are a few limitations to this option. An air pocket can create a situation known as cavitation, which prevents your pump from operating effectively. Pumps also disturb the wine as they transfer them, which can affect the characteristics of your wine’s structure. Siphoning is a traditional and affordable alternative. As long as you have a setup where one vessel can be higher than another, this process works well to gradually separate liquid from the sediment with minimal disruptions. Using a siphoning technique may not be possible or practical if you have a large vessel, so your large batch may need a wine pump or a barrel transfer tool. Pressurized gas is the secret behind the final wine racking system. A barrel transfer tool uses pressurized gas to gently move wine from one barrel to another. This system can be more costly due to the amount of gas involved, but it’s a great racking technique for large batches if you’re not willing to disturb your wine as you transfer it.
