Get your brew day started faster with the MB commercial grain mill—process an entire pallet of malt in an hour!
Differential roller speed applies enough force to open the grain kernels as they pass through the rollers without damaging the husk, improving efficiency and lauter performance
Slotted rollers more effectively expose the starchy endosperm inside the kernel compared to knurled rollers
Rollers made from steel alloy which is harder and longer lasting than stainless steel
0.4mm to 2mm mill gap is easily dialed in with large, handled adjustment wheels
Professional quality grain mill with stainless steel construction throughout
Unleash this beast in your brewery and you'll be ready to mash in no time flat. The MB commercial-grade mill can process upwards of 2,000 lbs of grain per hour and features large diameter slotted stainless steel rollers for an excellent crush and long life. This mill can easily power through whatever you throw at it, including barley, wheat, rye, and corn.
Differential Roller Speed
Rotating the rollers at different speeds is the key to a superior crush. Standard grain mills rotate the rollers at the same speed, creating a pinch point between them where the grain kernels are cracked open. Although effective, this can often lead to an excess of flour and damaged grain husks. The MB pro mill drives the rollers at different speeds to apply enough force to open the grain kernels as they pass through the rollers without damaging the husk. This action results in a better crush that will improve efficiency and lauter performance.
Slotted Rollers
Many grain mills feature hardened steel knurled rollers due to the lower cost, but they don't provide the best crush possible. Rather than pounding the grain into submission, slotted rollers (also known as fluted rollers) are more effective at shearing the grain husk to expose the endosperm while leaving the hull intact. The rollers are made from steel alloy which are harder and longer lasting than stainless steel.
Professional Quality
The MB pro mill is an industrial workhorse and the best value for a commercial mill on the market. The hopper capacity is 45 lbs of grain and large adjustment wheels make for easy gap adjustments. Stainless steel construction throughout, and anchor holes in the feet allow the unit to be bolted to the ground.
Specifications:
Processing Speed: 1,700–2,200 lbs/hr
Hopper Capacity: 45 lbs
Voltage: 208V/220V 3-phase motor
Power: 4 HP
Amperage: 13.6 amps
Mill Gap: 0.4mm - 2mm
Mill Roller Size: 155mm diameter, 110mm long
Please note: the unit will arrive bare without a power cord, plug, or controls to power the motor on or off. You will need an electrician to wire the appropriate power cord and controls to the motor.
Please Note: This unit REQUIRES 220V Three Phase power and will not function on anything else. Please confirm that you have the proper power for this unit before purchasing, and plan to have a qualified electrician wire the necessary plug to the cord.
Pumping off the mash tun is the easiest way to collapse the screens. It is recommended that you either put a tee and a vacuum breaker ahead of the pump or run the wort into a grant and pump off the grant. Controlling the pump with restriction, a VFD, or a dual level float switch is ideal.
This tall cylindrical grant has three 1.5" tri-clamp ports and a silicone tube for a sight glass. The narrow design helps to reduce surface area and hot side aeration. The inlet and outlet side ports are raised a few inches above the conical dish bottom dump, which helps to separate grain sediment from the wort.

Compared to the traditional steam heating brewhouse, the creative new-tech thermal oil heating avoids the installation of a dangerous and high-maintenance steam boiler. Steam offers more surface area than gas fired, but it requires a generator to create steam, collect it, and reheat it again. Oil heated brewhouses, on the other hand, use a simple oil heater and pump to circulate oil through the tank jackets. Compared to gas fired systems where all heat is directed to the very bottom of the kettle, this system heats from the sides and the bottom rather than the bottom alone. This offers not only greater surface area but faster thermal response. By controlling the oil temperature, you also have more precise boil vigor control and evaporation rate control. For these reasons and more, the Oil Heated Brewhouse makes for an ideal pilot batch system.
Control Panel
Our control panel features 4 PID controllers for precise control of the HLT, Mash, Boil Kettle and Oil temperature. The control panel also features a delayed start timer, allowing you to preheat your HLT overnight so your strike water will be ready when you arrive on brew day.
Hard Piped Distribution Manifold
With the distribution manifold, the entire brewing process can be completed by simply opening and closing valves. There’s no need to lug around brewery hoses and swap connections from vessel to vessel. This hard piped system is completely self-contained with dedicated pumps to move wort and hot liquor from tank to tank as needed. Every step of the brew day is a simple valve turn away. The only hose required is from the brewing system to your fermenter. Once the brew is completed this same piping system is used for CIP and rinsing.
Installation
The systems are delivered on a skid. Simply, move the skid into place, hook up power and water and a drain and you are ready to clean and brew.
Our systems also feature rolling casters for easy installation in your brewery, product pump for recirculation and sparging, hard piped manifold, grain out door on the mash tun, and mounted plate chiller.

This hard piped system is completely self contained with dedicated pumps to move wort and hot liquor from tank to tank as needed.

Our control panel features 4 PID controllers for precise control of the Mash, Boil Kettle and Oil temperature.
This hard piped system is completely self contained with a dedicated pump to move wort from tank to tank as needed.
NOTE: you will also need a separate vessel to feed hot water into the system. The hard plumbed system is very easy to clean and only one hose is required for the whole process.

Insulated walls to eliminate heat loss during mashing. Made from 304 stainless steel with passivated internal 2B polished finish
Slotted 3-piece false bottom, adjustable height sparge arm, and large grain out manway door with removable chute
Sparge arm features two inlets for HLT and recirculation
4" tri-clamp grain inlet port can be used with optional Grist Hydrator
Ships domestically from within the contiguous United States
MB Pro Brewing Systems are very well constructed and represent an amazing overall value. They also boast a very impressive feature set.
Our Pro Insulated Mash Tun features slotted 3-piece false bottom, adjustable-height sparge arm, 4" TC port for optional grist hydrator, and a host of other key features guaranteed to satisfy the expectations of today's pro brewer.
The mash tun has a slotted plate screen with a large grain out port on the side. The optional hydrator allows you to mix grain with hot liquor if you have your mill or grist case above the mash tun. There is a large top access for manual stirring. The walls of the mash tun are insulated to provide stable mashing temperatures. While intended for a single infusion mash, step mashing can be performed by recirculating through a heat exchanger. The sparge arm is adjustable in height and it is intended to have an inch of water above the grain and have the bottom of the diverted plate resting on top of the grain for low oxygen pickup during recirculating and sparging. We recommend that you use a grant to avoid creating suction on the bottom of the mash screen. It is possible to pull 23,000 lbs of force on the screen with a pump and a fully stuck mash and even partial vacuums can produce significant force. Alternatively, you can install a vacuum breaker ahead of the pump. Replacement screens are available for special order.
We strongly recommend using a Wort Grant when pumping off the mash tun to avoid the possibility of collapsing the screens.

Great Quality from MB
Our brewing systems are made at a family owned manufacturer in the Ningbo region of China. Ningbo is where most premium beer tanks and brewing vessels come from and represents a known style and level of quality when compared to other areas of China. Our professional brewhouse equipment is designed by our in-house R&D designer Colin Kaminski, a former brewmaster for 15 years. Cleanability, ease of use, and durability are our primary design criteria. Our manufacturing partner in China is a father/son team that takes great pride in what they do. Some discount dealers buy from different manufacturers who offer one-off deals. That can be fine one time but not the next.

Notes Regarding Mash Rake & Plow System
The motor comes un-wired. We recommend having an electrician install a reversing motor control in a remote location
Raise the plow blade before mashing
When it is time to grain out the blade is released onto the top of the mash and allowed to scrape from the top down to the false bottom
The rakes are reversed for mashing out
The CIP back flush under the screens is accessed by pumping into the inner ring under the mash. This should be closed while mashing
The center pipe and outer ring are for wort collection and should be connected to the wort receiver
There is a wort return port for recirculation
There is a non-adjustable sparge ring for sparge/lauter

Insulated Mash Tun

The Braumeister: A patented, electric, self-contained all-grain brewing system producing 290 gallons of wort per brew. The beauty of the Speidel Braumeister is in simplicity and relatively small footprint. This product is not part of our free shipping policy, however we only charge actual freight from our California Warehouse to your location.
Touchscreen Control Panel
The new automatic control system brews with your own individual recipes and guides you through the brewing process. Recipes and software updates can be synced automatically with the integrated WiFi. The time and temperature are precisely maintained through all brewing phases. The new touchscreen makes it even easier to operate the Braumeister.
In addition, the large Braumeisters have integrated a new pressure sensor-controlled pump control. The pressure sensor in the pressure line which is connected with the malt pipe allows you to regulate the pump speed via the pressure. The new timer function saves time because, for example, the brewing water can be heated up early in the morning.
Automatic Brewing
Running your brew day is simple and repeatable with the new 5" touchscreen control panel, featuring integrated WiFi control and automatic software updates. Program your recipes into the controller and it will run through all the brewing phases with precise time and temperature control.
One Vessel
With the Braumeister you Mash, Boil and Cool all in the same vessel. All actions are controlled by the included electronic control system. Your brewing process is started in the Braumeister the same as with any other system, by mixing cracked grain with hot water. From there traditional step mashes at multiple temperatures are easy to maintain when you set your program on the controller.
Traditional Sparging Optional
Because of the constant movement of wort, the high ratio of liquid in the mash and the unique grain bed filters, the efficiency of removing sugar from the mash is good. This eliminates the need for a traditional sparge. However when you shift from Mashing to the boil by lifting the grain bed out of the tank you can rinse the grain with hot water, performing a more traditional sparge if desired.
Boil and Cool
After the grain basket is removed with the included winch you will begin a traditional boil for 60 to 90 minutes. After the boil is over you connect to your glycol system (see our Kreyer Chilly45, GLY410) and use the built in dimpled cooling jacket to cool the wort down. Simple.
