The BrewBuilt SlingBlade is an innovative electric heating element designed to promote a rolling boil and even heat distribution. Shaped for Performance and Convenience The SlingBlade's unique crescent-shaped design positions all of the heating power on one side of the kettle, sending thermal energy upward to the surface that then cascades downward on the opposite side of the kettle. This movement creates a dynamic turbulence that evenly distributes heat while creating a vigorous, rolling boil. Other heating elements stick right out into the middle of the kettle or use a full circle design that rings the kettle wall. This can cause an obstruction for immersion chillers or make it difficult to stir without banging into the element. The SlingBlade was designed to avoid these issues. By remaining on one side of the kettle, the element will be out of the way of your immersion chiller, and since the element follows the curvature of the kettle wall, it won't interfere with the flow of wort during whirlpool. Ultra-Low Watt Density An electric element transfers power to your wort by applying heat, but if this heat is too concentrated you will get local heating that is hotter than 212°F. This catalyzes Maillard Reactions, which can lead to darker beer than intended and produce unwanted caramelization. Think of these reactions like roasting a marshmallow. First it gets a light brown, we call this Maillard reactions, a little hotter and it gets a dark brown, we call this caramelization, then it turns black and we call this pyrolysis (burnt or scorched). While all kettles undergo these reactions, an electric element can concentrate more heat into a small area, which can quickly scorch your wort. Our experience is that at 90-watts per square inch recipes need to be modified to account for the element and light beers never come out quite right. The SlingBlade element was designed at 50-watts per square inch to reduce the chance of scorching while still providing a vigorous boil. For even lower watt density, consider the Boil Vigor Controller. Tri-Clamp Connection The SlingBlade installs quickly and easily on any kettle with a T.C. ferrule thanks to the curved, non-circular design. This also makes it a breeze to remove the element for cleaning between uses. The SlingBlade heating elements were designed to fit perfectly with BrewBuilt brewing kettles, but you may find them suitable for other kettles as well. They should be used with T.C. ferrules no longer than 1" in length. For dimensions and recommended minimum kettle diameter, please see the chart below. Features: Made from Incoloy alloy with proprietary coating for long life 1.5" Tri-Clamp connection Unique offset design promotes rolling boil Ultra-Low Watt Density eliminates scorching UL Certified components Specs: 240 Volt L6-30 plug 20 Amp breaker required for 10 & 15 gal element 30 Amp breaker required for 22 & 31 gal element 50-gallon kettle requires 2 x BE538 and 2 x 30 amp circuits SKU Kettle Vol. Wattage Length Radius Min. Have you been struggling with fermentation temperature swings? The BrewBuilt Neoprene Carboy Sleeve works great for maintaining the internal temperature of your 5, 6, or 6.5 gallon glass carboy. If you aren't fermenting in a temperature-controlled environment your beer is likely rising and falling with the ambient temperature, and these swings can stress out yeast and have a negative effect on the finished product. This 6 mm thick neoprene sleeve will help retain the heat naturally produced by fermentation activity and provide some protection from the ambient environment, leading to more consistent fermentation temps, happier yeast, and less off flavors in your beer. We highly recommend the neoprene sleeve for use with the BrewBuilt Carboy CoolStix. The added insulation will lower the amount of cycles needed to maintain fermentation temperatures and is a must-have for cold crashing. SKU Size Height (in.) Diameter (in.) Upgrade standard and Plus model X-Series conicals with increased cooling performance Chill down to cold crashing temps when used with glycol and insulation; compatible with any vessel with a 4" T.C. opening Keg Connects and Floating Racking Buoy enable you to pressure transfer the clearest beer at the top of your fermenter 1.5" tri-clamp ferrule for use with additional T.C. accessories like the Pressure Fermentation Kit or Hop Bong Sanitary all stainless steel construction with 3/8" OD inlet/outlet for glycol connection Upgrade your standard model X-series conical with the ultimate in-solution chilling coil—the BrewBuilt Ludicrous Coil! Temperature control is one of the most important aspects of a healthy, happy fermentation. When your fermenting beer gets too hot, the yeast will likely impart off-flavors that can easily overwhelm the taste of your finished beer. The Ludicrous Coil offers a ludicrous amount of surface area (which means more cooling capacity) compared to other chilling coils you'll find. Not only does it manage your fermentation temperature with ease, the Ludicrous Coil has the capacity to chill beer to cold crashing temperatures when used with glycol and insulation. A truly unparalleled unit when it comes to in-solution chilling. You will also need a cold water source to provide the cooling solution. For maintaining ale temperatures, a cooler or bucker of ice water is sufficient in most cases and this method works well with the BrewBuilt Chiller Pump Kit. For maintaining lager temperatures or cold crashing, we recommend the IceMaster Max 2 Glycol Chiller and the Insulated Tubing Set. Sanitary all stainless steel construction with 3/8" OD inlet/outlet. Compatible with 3/8" ID flexible tubing & hose clamps or 9.5mm Duotight adapter. Specifications: Size Coil Height Float Tubing Length 7/14 Gal 18.5" 24" 27 Gal 24" 30" 38 Gal 33" 39"

The BrewBuilt Blowoff U Barb was specifically designed to avoid kinking issues with blowoff tubing. Rather than simply pointing the blowoff tubing away from the conical, the U Barb bends outward and over the side of your conical to point tubing straight down. This gives you the same advantage of a stainless steel blowoff cane, but is much easier to clean and sanitize. The 5/8" OD barb is perfect for forming a tight seal with 1/2" ID silicone tubing. Measures approximately 4" from T.C. to barb. 1.5" T.C. 5/8" OD barb Made from 304 stainless steel

Welded 1.5" tri-clamp ports for a lifetime of leak-free use 304 stainless steel construction with mirror polish finish Front and back located handles with silicone grips Induction burner compatible Notched lid provides cover while not interfering with immersion chillers, hop bags, or other accessories The BrewBuilt Pro Brewing Kettle is built for even more versatility than the standard T.C. kettle. A third tri-clamp port is offset from the front and ready to accept an electric heating element, whirlpool return valve, or any other accessory that you want to incorporate with the kettle. Handles are located at the front and back, rather than either side, saving you space when building out a horizontal system and will keep fittings pointed away from you regardless of which side you pick up the kettle from. Designed for Brewing. Built to Last. BrewBuilt brew kettles are made from 304 stainless steel and offer an unparalleled mix of features for the price. At the very top of the list are three welded-in place tri-clamp couplers that offer a lifetime of leak free use. As you can imagine, welding in a coupler costs more than punching a hole and using a gasketed (i.e. weld-less) fitting. Welded fittings offer a permanent connection that to us is worth every penny. The second unique feature that we absolutely love about these brew kettles is the notched lid with silicone plug. This notch allows you so much flexibility; you can use an immersion chiller, one of our Ultimate Sparge Arms for mashing, tie off hop bags, take a temp reading during cooling, or whatever else we all can dream up. Our T.C. kettles were designed to keep pace with the ever-evolving world of brewing technology. Tri-clamp fittings are standard fare in professional breweries, and they’ve been widely adopted in homebrewing as T.C. fermenters and pumps become more affordable and widely available. Tri-clamp fittings, also known as Tri-clover, allow you to make a sanitary connection that is free of nooks and crannies for contaminants to take hold. They are much easier to break down for cleaning compared to threaded connections, and they don’t require Teflon tape to make a watertight seal. T.C. fittings and accessories also give you the distinct advantage of being able to clean in place (CIP), so you don’t need to break down your entire system after every brew day. This kettle comes without fittings so you can modify it with whatever tri-clamp accessories best suit your needs. This Brew Kettle has a lot to offer... Some other features we dig include the internal volume markers from the bottom to the top - so handy for instant reads. The silicone sleeved handles on the kettle and the lid are a cool feature to protect your hands. The tri-clad bottom with a 4mm core of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel offers even heat distribution during the boil and also makes it a perfect choice for anyone wanting to use an induction burner. The bottom coupler is also cool with 1/2" male threads on the outside and 1/2'' female threads on the inside. Beefy 304 Stainless These kettles are made from 304 grade stainless. That means you will have less corrosion issues than with a kettle made from lower grade 201 type stainless. We put these kettles through a corrosive salt water test in the MoreBeer! shop and they passed with flying colors. We also made sure the rivets and riveted handles were also made of stainless steel for a long term, trouble free life. The 10 and 15 gallon size are made from 1.0mm thick stainless steel. The 20, 30 and 50 gallon size are made with 1.2mm stainless - that's pretty thick stuff - and you will know it when you pick one up. The included ball valve is a two piece design that allows for easy cleaning (we prefer these over 3 piece for ease of assembly) and is also made from 304 stainless. Mirror Polish Finish The mirror polish finish isn’t just for making your Instagram feed pop! This extra slick finish is much easier to clean and sanitize than a standard brushed stainless kettle. Hop trub and other organic solids left behind after a brew day will have a hard time clinging to the interior surface and scrub away with ease. Size Ratios and Stuff All the BrewBuilt kettles follow the recent trend to a 1.2:1 ratio where the height is 1.2 times the diameter. This is a proven commercial ratio that has been adopted in homebrewing to achieve a more consistent 10% evaporation rate during the boil. We do like this ratio for boiling. For Mashing we would prefer a little bit shallower but that is a small compromise. Dimensions for a hot-liquor tank, if you are thinking brewing system down the road, are irrelevant as any ratio kettle will do. Final Words With welded tri-clamp fittings, mirror polish finish, a bunch of cool features, and a solid, thick 304 stainless steel core this kettle is a pretty amazing value. Remember, if you order from MoreBeer! we ship free anywhere in the continental USA! The ultimate control & precision of your fermentation process. Equipped with four built-in temperature controllers and pumps, this advanced chiller enables you to independently regulate the temperature of multiple separate fermentation vessels simultaneously, ensuring optimal conditions for different batches or styles of beer, making it a game-changer for homebrewers. 4 Built-in pumps and digital controllers Control multiple fermentation temperatures independently Fill with 20% glycol solution for optimal chilling performance Cold crash with good insulation Perfect complement to BrewBuilt X-Series Conicals The IceMaster Max 4 is designed to cool fermentations in small vessels. It features 4 built-in submersible pumps with independent digital temperature controllers and can be used with any vessel that has a glycol jacket or submersed cooling coil/rod. Each controller includes a temperature probe that should be inserted into a thermowell in your vessel or can be taped to the outside of the vessel if you don't have a thermowell. The digital controller then measures the temperature of your tank and turns the submersible pump on or off to cool to your desired set temperature. Up to four tanks can be controlled separately with one IceMaster Max 4. Compatibility The IceMaster can be used with any fermenter that has a built-in cooling jacket, added CoolStix, or a submersed cooling coil. It works well as the cooling source for the following systems and fermenters. BrewBuilt Jacketed Uni Conical - we recommend one Insulated Tubing Kit for each tank. These kits feature "dry break" quick disconnects that prevent glycol loss and the insulated tubing will increase chilling efficiency and eliminate line sweating from condensation. CoolStix - CoolStix can be added to a wide range of carboys, fermenters, and tanks and the IceMaster works really well in combination. Each CoolStix is available with or without a pump kit; for use with the IceMaster Max 4 you will only need the CoolStix and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Ss Brewtech Fermenters and Brites - Ss BME Chronicals, BME Brites, and Unitanks come with cooling coils and neoprene as standard. The optional chilling FTSs will not be needed for use with the Max 4. The cooling coil for standard Ss Chronicals and Brew Buckets are not sold a la carte and must be purchased with a submersible pump, which is not needed for the Max 4. For standard Chronicals and Brew Buckets you might consider the IceMaster 100 for cost savings. Spike Conical with Optional Cooling Coil - the cooling coil for Spike CF series conicals is available for purchase independently from the TC-100 cooling system. For use with the Max 4 you will only need the coil and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Speidel Tanks with Optional Cooling Jackets - You will need two lengths of tubing to connect the chiller to each tank. Grainfather Fermenters - Grainfather fermenters have standard cooling jackets. You will need two lengths of tubing for each fermenter. Blichmann Fermenators with Optional Cooling Coil - You will need two lengths of tubing for each Fermenator. Capacity It is always difficult to determine exactly how many tanks can be chilled at one time as it depends on what is happening in each tank, if the tank is insulated, and what the ambient temperature is. Cold crashing always requires the most energy and requires tank insulation. We have experimented with capacities and can provide this general guide based on a 75°F ambient and neoprene insulation. Neoprene provides a modest amount of insulation so you would obtain better results using Armaflex or a higher R rated insulation. Capacity calculated at cold crashing to a target temperature of 38°F while the ambient temperature is 75°F with neoprene insulation (double tank capacity for ale fermentation temperature control): 2 - 1BBL (31 Gallon) Jacketed Tank 2 - 1/2BBL (15-20 Gallon) Tanks 3 - 10-14 Gallon Tanks 4 - 5-7 Gallon Tanks Set Up In order to hook up the IceMaster to your fermenter or tank's cooling system, you will need 2 lengths of tubing per vessel. All tubing connections should be secured with hose clamps. Length 1: Barb of 1st bulkhead (IN) to cooling system outlet Length 2: Barb of 2nd bulkhead (OUT) to cooling system inlet Specifications: 4 built-in submersible pumps with independent digital controllers Pump controllers read in °F/°C Temperature controller reads in °C Labeled IN and OUT stainless bulkheads with 3/8" OD barbs Tank Capacity: 30L/8 Gal. Running the unit below this temperature may negatively affect the unit's efficiency and has the potential to freeze beer which may impact the finished beer's flavor.

The digital controller then measures the temperature of your tank and turns the submersible pump on or off to cool to your desired set temperature. Up to two tanks can be controlled separately with one IceMaster Max 2. The Max 2 is the perfect unit for brewers with 1 or 2 fermentation vessels. The IceMaster 100 and IceMaster Max 4 are terrific chillers, but for they have far more cooling capacity than the average homebrewer needs. The Max 2 is the most affordable glycol chiller we offer, and thanks to the built-in submersible pumps and controllers, there's no need to purchase additional pump kits to use with your cooling system(s). Each CoolStix is available with or without a pump kit; for use with the IceMaster Max 2 you will only need the CoolStix and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Ss Brewtech Fermenters and Brites - Ss BME Chronicals, BME Brites, and Unitanks come with cooling coils and neoprene as standard. The optional chilling FTSs will not be needed for use with the Max 2. Spike Conical with Optional Cooling Coil - the cooling coil for Spike CF series conicals is available for purchase independently from the TC-100 cooling system. For use with the Max 2 you will only need the coil and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. At 75°F ambient temperature with neoprene insulation, the Max 2 can cold crash one 1 BBL BrewBuilt Jacketed Uni or two Jacketed Unis up to 15 gallons in size at one time to 38°F. Set Up In order to hook up the IceMaster to your fermenter or tank's cooling system, you will need 2 lengths of tubing per vessel. All tubing connections should be secured with hose clamps. The unit comes with JoinTech Male Quick Disconnects installed as the inlet/outlet bulkheads, and also includes Female QDs with barbs to connect your tubing to the bulkheads. QDs to connect tubing to your cooling system are not included as the connection type depends on your setup. Welded 1.5" tri-clamp ports for a lifetime of leak-free use 304 stainless steel construction with mirror polish finish Notched lid provides cover while not interfering with immersion chillers, hop bags, or other accessories Choose from Boil Kettle, Hot Liquor Tank or Mash Tun configurations The Boil Kettle comes without fittings The Hot Liquor Tank includes a Kettle Maximizer and Thermometer with 2" Probe The Mash Tun includes a False Bottom Kit and Thermometer with 6" Probe Add your preferred Valve Hardware Pack when choosing your kettle above or purchase your own valve & fittings separately Designed for Brewing. Built to Last. BrewBuilt brew kettles are made from 304 stainless steel and offer an unparalleled mix of features for the price. At the very top of the list are two welded-in place tri-clamp couplers that offer a lifetime of leak free use. Our new T.C. kettles were designed to keep pace with the ever-evolving world of brewing technology. Configurations The base boil kettle comes without fittings so you can modify it the specific tri-clamp accessories that best suit your needs. Add one of the optional Brewing Kettle Valve Packs above which include your choice of valve and all the hardware you'll need to connect 1/2" ID transfer tubing, as well as an end cap to seal the top port if a thermometer or other accessory is not in place. The Hot Liquor Tank includes the base kettle plus a kettle maximizer for the bottom port and thermometer with 2" probe for the top port. Clamps and gaskets are included to attach the tri-clamp kettle maximizer and the thermometer. The Mash Tun includes the base kettle plus a false bottom kit for the bottom port and thermometer with 6" probe for the top port. Clamps and gaskets are included to attach the tri-clamp false bottom maximizer and the thermometer. Kettles do not come with a valve or additional fittings for the bottom port as standard. Add one of our pre-configured Valve Packs or purchase your preferred valve and fittings separately. Features: Two welded T.C. couplers for a lifetime of leak free use Notched lid with silicone plug for flexibility 304 stainless steel construction for longevity 1.0mm (10 & 15 gal) or 1.2mm (20, 30 & 50 gal) thick side walls resist denting 4mm Tri-Clad Aluminum bottom sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel for no scorching Internally etched volume markers from top to bottom for easy reading 1.2:1 Ratio is optimal for boiling evaporation rate Lid is designed to conveniently hang from a handle Side handles with silicone coated handles for heat protection Stainless handles with stainless rivets for secure lifting Size Kettle ID (in.) We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory. 304 stainless steel splash resistant construction Industrial design using commericial quality components for long life and easy serviceability Digital power reading for precise repeatability. No more guessing if you found the sweet spot on the dial Outlet fully disconnected when powered off for added safety, unlike some one-leg designs Linear power control for better repeatability at low power settings Wall mount bracket allows you to get the controller off the table and out of the way Dial your brew day up to 11 with the BrewBuilt™ Boil Vigor Controller! This controller allows you to control the current of a 208-240V heating element up to 30 amps. Perfect for dialing in your boil vigor for more consistent boil-off rates or adjusting the heat input to a still wash pot. The controller works by adjusting the percentage of power delivered to the heating element. The power is increased in a linear fashion from 0 to 100% as you adjust the dial from 1 to 11. Features industrial-style power switch, dial knob, and digital amm meter mounted on a splash resistant stainless steel enclosure. Pre-cut mounting holes allow you to hang the controller on your brew stand on the wall at eye-level. We highly recommend mounting the controller so you don't have to worry about keeping an area of your table dry where you might lay it down. L6-30 connections with 4 ft. cords on either end. Compatible with all 208-240V elements 30 amps and lower. While L6-30 are the most common elements available, yours may need an adapter. The Boil Vigor Controller uses a generously overrated SSR with a very large fan-cooled heatsink for better reliability. An SSR's life expectancy is directly related to its operating temperature, and this unit is built with the lowest Q heat dissipation system offered at the homebrewing level. It includes a contactor to fully shut off both legs when you throw the power switch, making the free end of the cord safer when the element is not plugged in. The display gives you a reading of the actual current being consumed by your element in Amps. On some systems, a small change in the adjustment makes a large current change at the element, especially at lower settings used during hop stands and distillation. The BrewBuilt controller provides a linear control and a digital readout to eliminate the guessing, allowing you to focus on your process and not your equipment. If you'd prefer not to mount the controller to your wall, consider the stainless steel Controller Stand. **Caution: In order to avoid injury or death we strongly recommend using a GFCI in any circuit used near water. You can find one here.**
