This Duotight fitting is designed to go through the wall of a tank, housing, or wall, similar to a pass through shank, so you can run EVABarrier tubing from one side to the other. Installation note: On a fridge there is generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. This adapter piece enables legacy Torpedo Mini CO2 Regulators (KEG965A) to be compatible with 74g CO2 cartridges that have a small unthreaded gap at the top of the neck—cartridges similar to KEG969. This piece now comes standard on the updated Torpedo Mini CO2 Regulator and is a direct replacement part for KEG965B.
You can use pass through shanks for beer entry through the back side of a cooler. Drill a 1" hole through the cooler, insert the shank, and use the two attached nuts to tighten up on the cooler. You will need nuts and nipples of the size line you are working with as well as hose clamps. We do not use pass through shanks in our boxes because we drill a hole that is same size as the line so we can pull it back in when we are traveling. However there might be instances where they would be appropriate. Pass through shanks can also be used to put through the side of a refrigerator to pass a gas line through

Brand new aluminum 25 lb CO2 tank made from high strength aluminum alloy and high quality CGA320 valves. Because it is made of aluminum rather than steel you can feel confident that it won’t rust. Aluminum tanks are superior to steel because they do not rust. All tanks are shipped empty. To have tanks filled you will want to visit your local welding supply shop.
