The Brewtools Steam Condenser fits the Brewtools Steam Hat and uses cold water to cool the steam until it becomes a liquid that runs out of the condenser to a bucket or directly to the drain. The unit is an excellent alternative to a ventilation system.
The unit ships with a nozzle that supplies 1.1 liters of water per minute at 4 bar pressure. We also offer other nozzles that offers higher or lower flow depending on the water pressure where the system is used and other factors (sold separately).
Included:
TC 4" to TC 2" adapter (1 pcs)
20cm straight TC 2" pipe (2 pcs)
TC 2" Tee (1 pcs)
TC 2" Elbow (1 pcs)
TC 2" 1/8" nozzle adapter with TC34mm input (1 pcs)
TC 2" to 19mm hose barb adapter (1 pcs)
TC 2" Clamp (6 pcs)
TC 2" Gasket (6 pcs)
1/8" BSP-T nozzle, 30 degrees, 1.1 liters per minute @ 4 bar (1 pcs)
You Will Also Need:
Steam hat for your system
TC 4" Clamp and gasket
Water inlet adapter (TC34mm to hose or garden connector etc)
Outlet tube (16x25mm)
A TC34mm elbow is recommended for the water inlet
Please take not that you need much less power to keep the boil going with this device, and the risk of the wort boiling over is high when too much power is used, so make sure to take the necessary precautions. To sustain the vacuum, the drain tube from the condenser must not have any counterpressure. We recommend draining to a bucket where the tube is not submerged in the water, or suspend the tube directly over a floor drain.

Advanced Modular Control System: Designed for homebrewers and microbreweries, the Brewtools FCS brings industrial-level precision with features like temperature, pressure, and gravity monitoring for ultimate brewing control. Comprehensive Starter Kit: Includes essential components such as FCS Display and I/O Modules, temperature and pressure sensors, and all necessary cables and adapters to start customizing your fluid control setup. Automated Fermentation Profiles: Automate cooling, heating, and pressure management with software-driven profiles, simplifying complex processes while ensuring consistency in your brews. Expandable & Customizable: Add solenoids, pumps, airlocks, and adapters to fit your specific brewing needs, compatible with both Brewtools and non-Brewtools tanks. Constant Monitoring & Alerts: Early warning notifications for equipment issues like solenoid valves or heating elements ensure smooth operation and protect your brewing investment. This version of the FCS Kit includes the Density/Temp Sensor which replaces the temperature-only sensor in the basic FCS Starter Kit. FCS is a modular control system designed, developed and manufactured by Brewtools in Norway. The vision behind the system is to take industrial technology and make that available for microbreweries and homebrewers. Using the latest electronic component technology and clever software engineering, Brewtools is able to make features that used to be very expensive and complicated available for everyone. The system can measure temperature, pressure, density/gravity, level* and power consumption and based on that — control cooling, heating, pressure/CO2 in, pressure/CO2 out, agitation*, automatic hop additions* under pressure and more! Fermentation profiles will automate the whole process and give you ultimate control of your fermentation process. (*Not available at first launch.) The system will also constantly monitor the process and notify you if something isn't right. For example, the system will measure the current draw of solenoid valves and heating elements, and will notify you if these components aren't working as they should. Please Note: The software is currently in a state of early adopter beta, and should not be used for critical production. Brewtools will continue to develop software and new sensors/actuators based on customer feedback and requests. If you cannot find a sensor or actuator that fits your setup, please reach out to us and let us know. Note that we do not take responsibility for any lost/destroyed beer or raw materials. Brewtools FCS Starter Kit for Pro Tanks This kit includes everything you would normally need to install the system on a "standard" tank. It comes with two TC 1.5" tees (short) and parts needed to connect your existing solenoids for cooling. The solenoid for gas out is also made for larger tanks. FCS Display Module and FCS I/O Module with power supply Density sensor (300mm) 1 pressure sensor with gas out pro solenoid Tiny Relay Module for wiring your cooling solenoid 2x TC Tees, clamps and gaskets All cables and adapters needed (3m length) The kit does not include a valve/pump for cooling as these are tank dependent, and you may already have a solenoid for your existing glycol loop. For non-Brewtools tanks, you also may need an adapter and/or tee to connect the spunding valve/pressure sensor assembly. Accessories To complete your FCS kit setup, some accessories are needed. A solenoid for cooling (Ø4.5mm - 34mm or 1.5") with 2-pin LP12 cable and DIN43650 Type A adapter or a submersible pump (comes with cable). A blowoff for the pressure out solenoid valve is recommended. You will need a 1.5" TC adapter to connect to your preferred blowoff tubing. Tri-Clamps and gaskets. Based on your tank and setup, you may need some extra tri-clamps or gaskets. Setting Up the FCS for Your Tank Solenoid Valve & Related Connection Hardware for Cooling For Brewtools tanks that use 34mm connection you will need a Ø4.5mm - 34mm solenoid valve. For Commercial tanks you will need a TC 1.5" to 34mm adapter and 1.5" TC Solenoid Valve. Either way, you will need a 2-pin LP12 cable and DIN43650 Type A adapter to connect the solenoid valve to the Brewtools FCS I/O Module. Would You Like a Visible Air Lock on the Spunding Valve? The Brewtools pressure relief solenoid spunding valve releases CO2 at the set point you choose on your controller. Control your fermentation temperatures with Cool Brewing's simple, yet innovative, insulated fermentation bag. This is the 2nd generation Cool Brew bag, which has made cold fermentations even easier! Fermenting your homebrew at the right temperature is one of the critical factors in making good beer. Let the temperature get too warm, and your beer will taste 'rough' as the soft malt and vibrant hop flavors dissapear! Typically an advanced homebrewer would want to get a spare refrigerator or even a MoreBeer! Cooled Conical to control fermentation temperatures, both those options either take up a lot of space or can cost a fair amount of money. The Cool Brewing Bag allows the apartment brewer, those who have space constraints, or the brewer on a budget a great option to control fermentation temperature and make great beer. Cool Brewing's Fermentation Cooler is designed specifically to accommodate standard 6.5, 6 or 5 gallon fermenter. You freeze a 2 liter soda bottle with water, or similar, and place in the fermentation bag with your fermenting carboy. Also works great with the Ss BrewTech Brew Buckets! The typical desired ale fermentation range is on average around 62-72° F. For a typical 5 gallon batch (1) frozen 2-liter bottle should lower wort temperature around 5 degrees, while using (2) 2-liter bottles will lower wort temperature around 11 degrees for 24-36 hours. Of course your exact results might vary but you can adjust the amount of ice you use as you go. The manufacturer has found they can cool the wort temperature up to around a 30-35° drop from ambient room temperature. On the flipside, add a Fermwrap and temperature controller to the setup, and you've got a heated fermentation temperature accurate to within 1° F! The Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler is sealed, insulated and 100% waterproof so it will efficiently and neatly keep your temperatures in check. When you’re done, the Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler easily folds up for storage until the next brew day! Cool Brew Features: Up to twice as efficient and cleaner then homemade swamp coolers
Much less expensive than custom kegorator or keezer set up's that cost $100's of dollars.
Cool Brewing Cooler will work with multiple sized fermenters.
100% waterproof so will not leave condensation.
It folds up for easy storage when not in use or travel.
Will work great in condos and warm climates where you need a swamp cooler even for Ale’s!
Contains the mess of any fermentation blowouts

BrewBuilt CIP Spray Ball for use with X-Series Uni Conicals or any stainless steel fermenter with 1.5" tri-clamp fittings. The head emits a 360° fan spray that cleans above and below the spinning ball. The sharp spray easily removes soil inside your tank. The long neck design allows the spray ball to reach through tall fittings and ferrules. With a welded 90° elbow inlet, you won't have any trouble with kinked hosing slowing your pump flow and lowering the spray ball's performance.
A pump capable of 30-45 psi and 11 GPM is recommended for this product to provide a high pressure cleaning radius of 3.6 ft. When used with BrewBuilt conicals, 7 GPM is enough to coat the full interior of the fermenter, but longer CIP runs might be required to fully breakdown stubborn solid deposits.
Use this valve with a standard soda bottle as an inexpensive and effective dry hopping solution Attaches to the PCO 1881 threaded port on the FermZilla fermenter's lid Carbonation Cap and Tee Piece can be added to allow for purging the hops with CO2 This really handy stainless adapter ball valve will enable you to connect two PCO 1881 threads with a valve in between. Each side has an integrated O-ring that will seal on the neck of the PCO1881 Thread. Ideally suited to making a dry hop device for FermZilla with a standard soda bottle or PET growler with PCO 1881 threaded neck. As shown in the photo, if you use this stainless ball valve in conjunction with the PCO 1881 Tee Piece and the Carbonation Cap, you will have the added advantage of being able to use CO2 to purge out oxygen from the hops before you dry hop. This assembly makes an inexpensive and very effective dry hopping tool. Please note: Dry hop pellets will require a bit of a shake to get them to fall through the 3/4" bore. Tapping the PET bottle should be enough to make the hops fall down into the fermenter through the ball valve. KegLand Part Number: KL18074

For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.
Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Hard Seltzer Flash Brewing® Kit
Flash Seltzer is a simplified system for producing clean, low-calorie hard seltzer with a strong focus on clean fermentation and minimal off-flavors. Sugar-based fermentations lack the natural nutrients found in beer and wine. This kit pairs Flash Yeast with CellarScience Dynamo 800, a nutrient formulated specifically for seltzer fermentation.
Dynamo 800 supplies the nitrogen yeast need to ferment efficiently in sugar-only environments, supporting a clean-fermenting process that helps minimize the risk of sulfur, fusel alcohols, and other off-flavors. Fermentation can finish in as few as 5 days.

Welded 1.5" tri-clamp ports for a lifetime of leak-free use
304 stainless steel construction with mirror polish finish
SlingBlade electric heating element with Tri-Clamp connections
Front and back located handles with silicone grips
Notched lid provides cover while not interfering with immersion chillers, hop bags, or other accessories
The BrewBuilt Electric Kettle
The BrewBuilt Electric Brewing Kettle features an offset welded tri-clamp ferrule for easy installation of the SlingBlade electric heating element. The SlingBlade elements were designed specifically for the BrewBuilt kettles and each element fits the corresponding kettle like a glove, perfectly matching the curvature of the kettle wall and providing the appropriate amount of power for the volume size. The unique crescent-shaped design places the element on one side of the kettle, leaving the opposite side clear for an immersion chiller or other accessories. Positioning the element in this way also promotes a rolling boil that evenly ditributes heat throughout the kettle. You'll love the results you get with the SlingBlade's ultra-low watt density, which won't scorch your wort. The kettle does not come with a power cord so you'll need to provide your own extension cord, or add our watertight On/Off power switch for the most convenient way to power the element. Handles are located at the front and back, rather than either side, saving you space when building out a horizontal system and will keep fittings pointed away from you regardless of which side you pick up the kettle from. This model includes a Butterfly Valve with 1/2" barb. Also available with T.C. x FPT or T.C. x T.C. Ball Valve hardware packs.
Designed for Brewing. Built to Last.
BrewBuilt brew kettles are made from 304 stainless steel and offer an unparalleled mix of features for the price. At the very top of the list are two welded-in place tri-clamp couplers that offer a lifetime of leak free use. As you can imagine, welding in a coupler costs more than punching a hole and using a gasketed (i.e. weld-less) fitting. Welded fittings offer a permanent connection that to us is worth every penny. The second unique feature that we absolutely love about these brew kettles is the notched lid with silicone plug. This notch allows you so much flexibility; you can use an immersion chiller, one of our Ultimate Sparge Arms for mashing, tie off hop bags, take a temp reading during cooling, or whatever else we all can dream up.
Our T.C. kettles were designed to keep pace with the ever-evolving world of brewing technology. Tri-clamp fittings are standard fare in professional breweries, and they’ve been widely adopted in homebrewing as T.C. fermenters and pumps become more affordable and widely available. Tri-clamp fittings, also known as Tri-clover, allow you to make a sanitary connection that is free of nooks and crannies for contaminants to take hold. They are much easier to break down for cleaning compared to threaded connections, and they don’t require Teflon tape to make a watertight seal. T.C. fittings and accessories also give you the distinct advantage of being able to clean in place (CIP), so you don’t need to break down your entire system after every brew day.
This Brew Kettle has a lot to offer...
Some other features we dig include the internal volume markers from the bottom to the top - so handy for instant reads. The silicone sleeved handles on the kettle and the lid are a cool feature to protect your hands. The tri-clad bottom with a 4mm core of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel offers even heat distribution during the boil and also makes it a perfect choice for anyone wanting to use an induction burner. The bottom coupler is also cool with 1/2" male threads on the outside and 1/2'' female threads on the inside.
Beefy 304 Stainless
These kettles are made from 304 grade stainless. That means you will have less corrosion issues than with a kettle made from lower grade 201 type stainless. We put these kettles through a corrosive salt water test in the MoreBeer! shop and they passed with flying colors. We also made sure the rivets and riveted handles were also made of stainless steel for a long term, trouble free life. The 10 and 15 gallon size are made from 1.0mm thick stainless steel. The 20, 30 and 50 gallon size are made with 1.2mm stainless - that's pretty thick stuff - and you will know it when you pick one up. The included ball valve is a two piece design that allows for easy cleaning (we prefer these over 3 piece for ease of assembly) and is also made from 304 stainless.
Mirror Polish Finish
The mirror polish finish isn’t just for making your Instagram feed pop! This extra slick finish is much easier to clean and sanitize than a standard brushed stainless kettle. Hop trub and other organic solids left behind after a brew day will have a hard time clinging to the interior surface and scrub away with ease.
Size Ratios and Stuff
All the BrewBuilt kettles follow the recent trend to a 1.2:1 ratio where the height is 1.2 times the diameter. This is a proven commercial ratio that has been adopted in homebrewing to achieve a more consistent 10% evaporation rate during the boil. We do like this ratio for boiling. For Mashing we would prefer a little bit shallower but that is a small compromise. Dimensions for a hot-liquor tank, if you are thinking brewing system down the road, are irrelevant as any ratio kettle will do.
Final Words
With welded tri-clamp fittings, mirror polish finish, a bunch of cool features, and a solid, thick 304 stainless steel core this kettle is a pretty amazing value. Remember, if you order from MoreBeer! we ship free anywhere in the continental USA!
SlingBlade Heating Elements
The BrewBuilt SlingBlade's unique crescent-shaped design promotes a rolling boil and even heat distribution. This electric heating element places all of the heating power on one side of the kettle, sending thermal energy upward to the surface that then cascades downward on the opposite side of the kettle. This movement creates a natural turbulence that evenly distributes heat while creating a vigorous boil. By being located on one side of the kettle, the other side is clear for immersion chillers, and the curved shape won't obstruct the flow of wort during whirlpool. Thanks to the non-circular design, the SlingBlade can easily be installed on any kettle with a 1.5" tri-clamp ferrule. This also makes removing the element for cleaning between uses a breeze.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
Direct replacement of the 31" floating dip tube included with the FermZilla Pressure Kits. If you're looking for a floating dip tube to use with your homebrew keg, we recommend the Torpedo Buoy™, which includes an appropriately sized metal dip tube and features a higher quality silicone tubing. A refractometer is used to measure the density of a solution, in our case how much malt sugar is in solution.
Featuring both a Brix scale AND a Specific Gravity Scale
Our refractometer is unique in that it features both a Brix Scale and a Specific Gravity Scale, the scale most homebrewers use.
Why use a Refractometer you ask?
Are you tired of not hitting your desired target gravities? Have you tried to cool a large sample so you could use a hydrometer and see what your gravity is? A refractometer allows you take instant gravity readings, with just one drop, at any point during the boil, or even during the run off of the sparge during an all-grain brew. These 'during the process' readings allow you to add more water or boil longer so you can attain exactly the gravity you desire.
Refractometer Statistics
Our refractometer is hand held with a metal body, flexible eye piece and rubber grip. It features a 0 to 32% Brix scale and from 1.000 to 1.120 on the Specific Gravity Scale with .2% resolution and ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation). Traditional refractometers without ATC are calibrated to work at 68 degrees Fahrenheit. The ATC function allows you to use the refractometer in an ambient temperature range of 50-86 degrees Fahrenheit (10-30 Celsius.) Because your sample is just one drop, and will quickly adjust to the temperature of the refractometer, the temperature of the sample is irrelevant. Our unit also comes with a manual calibration knob that is secured with a lock nut. To calibrate place one drop of distilled water on the testing platform and adjust to zero if necessary.
Getting Geeky about why the Specific Gravity Scale on our unit is accurate
Some dual scale refractometers feature a linear scale that multiplies brix by 4 to get Specific Gravity. This is okay at lower gravities up to around 1.040 but the higher your starting gravity goes, the less accurate the conversion is. For example, take a Brix reading of 10, multiply by 4, and you get a SG reading of 1.040 - the accurate SG reading is 1.041. Take a Brix reading of 20, multiply by 4, and you get 1.080 - the accurate conversion is 1.084. We worked with our Refractometer manufacturer to create a unit with a non linear conversion and thus this model can be accurately used for Specific Gravity readings.
NOTE - Refractometers will not read correctly if alcohol is present. We have a spreadsheet that can be used to help determine your actual gravity or brix, and this can be found in the "Documents" tab above.

Chux DIPA from Danville Brewing Company in Danville, CA is all about the hops. This celebration of hop flavor is packed with bright, citrusy tropical aromas that jump from the glass! Most of the IBUs come from a "First Wort" addition of Magnum. This process refers to adding hops to your kettle as soon as you begin collecting wort from your completed mash, resulting in a very smooth bitterness up front. From there, healthy aroma additions of Cascade, Citra®, Mosaic®, and Strata are combined for an incredibly expressive Double IPA.
Danville's Chux DIPA beat out 218 other entries to bring home Bronze in the Imperial India Pale Ale category at the Great American Beer Festival in 2017.

Craft high quality distilled water, hydrosols, and flavorsome spirits by transforming the Create+ Boiler 25 L or Grainfather G30 into an alembic distilling system by adding the Create+ Alembic Copper Dome and condenser.*
Due to its copper construction and domed shape, when paired with the Alembic Condenser the Alembic Copper Dome captures and enhances the flavors and aromas from a wash, making it ideal for crafting spirits like whiskey, bourbon, rum, and gin. It is able to strip away unwanted compounds and off-flavors, improving distillate quality.
The Alembic Copper Dome comes with a 2" tri-clamp to DN40 Threaded Adapter allowing for it to be connected to 2" tri-clamp accessories, giving you the option to experiment with different setups and attachments for a truly bespoke experience. This adapter can be removed from the dome for use with older model threaded Still Spirits condensers.
*Create+ Alembic Copper Condenser, Create+ Boiler 25 L, and Grainfather G30 sold separately.
