3.5° L - Briess Malting - Goldpils® Vienna Malt is a superb example of a classic malt. Less sweet than Pale Ale Malt, it is a rich malty 2-Row base malt that offers complexity and depth with a toasted note at the finish for your classic Vienna, Oktoberfest and Marzen beers. Goldpils® Vienna Malt is less modified than Pale Ale Malt and less intensely kilned than Munich Malts. As a result it delivers malty flavor with less sweetness than Pale Ale Malt and less color than Munich Malts. You can use this malt at up to 100% for tradtional Geramn Lagers and rich, full flavored dark beers. It can also be used to provide a delicious maltiness to IPA's, where we suggesting using GoldPils as 10% of your overall grain bill.

We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: Ultralight malt extract, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Hard Seltzer Flash Brewing® Kit
Flash Seltzer is a simplified system for producing clean, low-calorie hard seltzer with a strong focus on clean fermentation and minimal off-flavors. Sugar-based fermentations lack the natural nutrients found in beer and wine. This kit pairs Flash Yeast with CellarScience Dynamo 800, a nutrient formulated specifically for seltzer fermentation.
Dynamo 800 supplies the nitrogen yeast need to ferment efficiently in sugar-only environments, supporting a clean-fermenting process that helps minimize the risk of sulfur, fusel alcohols, and other off-flavors. Fermentation can finish in as few as 5 days.
Flash Brewing® Kits
Introducing MoreBeer!'s Flash Brewing® Kits! Designed for both novice and seasoned homebrewers, these innovative recipe kits allow you to simply mix the ingredients with water and add yeast for fermentation. This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.
Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor. Flash Yeast™ starts quickly and consistently produces clean beer that lets the malt and hops shine. The result is a high-quality beer that will absolutely surprise you.
If you want to read more about the development of Flash Brewing® at MoreBeer! or have more questions please read our Frequently Asked Questions.
Equipment Required for Flash Brewing®
Flash Brews can be fermented in any wide mouth 6 or 7-gallon fermenter you already own. We suggest a wide mouth fermenter so you can easily pour in the ingredients. The 7-gallon Fermonster fermenter is a perfect choice. If you are new to brewing and need a fermentation kit, see below.

Smooth, ribless design prevents yeast and bacteria buildup, making sanitation a breeze Punted bottom and conical top promote sediment collection and reduce oxidation during storage Extra-wide 4" mouth opening simplifies filling, additions, and cleaning Constructed from heavy-duty, virgin PET plastic without plasticizers Made with food-grade and BPA-free materials The Fermonster is a brand new fermenter designed specifically for fermentation. MoreBeer! gave product feedback for over 2 years of development and we think they nailed the design. The large lid allows for easy filling and makes hop or oak additions a breeze. The smooth sides are fantastic for sanitization - no ribs or texture to collect yeast or bacteria. The 6 gallon size is great for most fermentations, and the larger 7 gallon is available for even bigger beers. The punted bottom allows sediment to collect to the sides so that you can siphon liquid from the center. Because they are made from virgin PET plastic they nearly unbreakable and a lot safer than similar glass carboys. Also notice the conical top which reduces surface area if you plan to store beer or wine long term. Made from heavy PET plastic, the same material used in 2 L soda bottles, which is nearly impermeable to oxygen penetration. Due to the thicknes of the material and the overall geometry the Fermonster does not require ribs or dimples for stability. That results in a super smooth interior surface that reduces yeast and sediment buildup making it the easiest to clean, most sanitary PET carboy on the market. The huge 4" opening makes filling a breeze, and cleanup is as easy as wiping down the inside. Fermonsters are easily moved by hand or consider using our Carboy Carrier for even greater ease of use. These fermentors are completely air-tight and the lids sealed tight with an O-Ring. Additional O-Rings and Lids both with and without holes are available for purchase, see our You Might Also Need items below. Features: 4" wide mouth carboy - easy to clean! Food grade PET plastic construction is nearly impermeable to oxygen penetration No hard to clean dimples or ribs Volume Markers at 5 and 6 Gallons Punted bottom O-Ring and Lid with one hole is included (Fits #10 Stopper) Additional O-Rings and Lids available Weight: 1.5 lbs Temperature Limit: 140° F Height: 19.25 inches Diameter: 11.25 inches Completely taste and odor free Perfect for Beer, Wine, Cider, Mead, Kombucha or any other fermented beverage! Thick walls for better oxygen barrier.

The X3 Jacketed Conical and IceMaster Max 2 work hand in glove from yeast pitching to cold crashing
External cooling jacket with neoprene insulation allows for unparalleled temperature control for a homebrew fermenter
Max 2 glycol chiller with digital controllers and built-in submersible pumps provides quiet and efficient chilling
Insulated tubing sets eliminate line sweating and feature dry break quick disconnects at the cooling jacket connection points
High-quality, stainless steel table with rolling casters saves space in your brewery and can be easily moved whenever needed
The BrewBuilt Ultimate Chilling package includes everything you'll need to maintain a precise level of temperature control throughout the fermentation process. The X3 Jacketed Conical is second-to-none in homebrew-level cooling capabilities—mirroring the fermenter design that professional brewers have long relied on to keep their temperatures in check. And what better unit to provide the cooling solution than the IceMaster Max 2? This low-profile glycol chiller provides all the cooling capacity you'll need and is compact enough to ride shotgun on the included stainless steel work table.
X3 Jacketed Uni Conical & IceMaster Max 2
The X3 Jacketed Uni Conical offers cutting edge design features that have long been reserved for pro-level fermentation tanks. Circulating cooling solution through an external cooling jacket offers superior cooling power when compared to internal cooling coils, and eliminates the need for cleaning a wonky apparatus after you've transferred out your finished beer. This pressurizable fermenter also sports a neoprene jacket for added insulation, Flex Chamber collection container for yeast harvesting or trub dumps, internal floating racking tube for clear beer transfers, and so much more! The IceMaster Max 2 makes for the perfect tag team partner, providing all the cooling capacity you'll need for small-volume batches. And with two built-in submersible pumps with independent controllers, you can always add a sidekick fermenter and control both batches simultaneously.
BrewBuilt Insulated Glycol Tubing Kit
In addition to the conical and chiller, the kit also includes an insulated tubing set that improves chilling efficiency and eliminates line sweating. The kit consists of:
1 - Insulated Tubing Set (2 x 6' lines)
2 - High Temp Plastic Female QDs w/ 3/8" Barb*
2 - High Temp Plastic Male QDs w/ 1/2" MPT*
2 - 1.5" Tri-Clamps
2 - 1.5" T.C. Gaskets
2 - 1.5" T.C. x 1/2" FPT Adapters
*These premium quick disconnects feature shutoff valves that provide a "dry break" when they're disconnected. That means no cooling solution leaking all over your brewery every time you take the system apart for cleaning. The Female QDs are installed on the insulated tubing, and the Male QDs are installed on the T.C. x FPT Adapters that connect to the cooling jacket's inlet and outlet.
Stainless Steel Work Table
The heavy-duty stainless steel work table is the final piece that makes this the Ultimate Chilling Package. Saddle up the X3 Conical and IceMaster Chiller to reduce the footprint of your brewery. And with the swivel rolling casters installed, you'll have easy mobility to move your setup if ever needed.
Please Note: Avoid moving the table while the Conical is resting on top or in use. This can lead to injury or damage to the conical and surrounding area. The table cannot accommodate the 25 or 38 gal X3 conicals.
The ultimate control & precision of your fermentation process. Equipped with four built-in temperature controllers and pumps, this advanced chiller enables you to independently regulate the temperature of multiple separate fermentation vessels simultaneously, ensuring optimal conditions for different batches or styles of beer, making it a game-changer for homebrewers.
4 Built-in pumps and digital controllers
Control multiple fermentation temperatures independently Fill with 20% glycol solution for optimal chilling performance Cold crash with good insulation Perfect complement to BrewBuilt X-Series Conicals The IceMaster Max 4 is designed to cool fermentations in small vessels. It features 4 built-in submersible pumps with independent digital temperature controllers and can be used with any vessel that has a glycol jacket or submersed cooling coil/rod. Each controller includes a temperature probe that should be inserted into a thermowell in your vessel or can be taped to the outside of the vessel if you don't have a thermowell. The digital controller then measures the temperature of your tank and turns the submersible pump on or off to cool to your desired set temperature. Up to four tanks can be controlled separately with one IceMaster Max 4. Compatibility The IceMaster can be used with any fermenter that has a built-in cooling jacket, added CoolStix, or a submersed cooling coil. It works well as the cooling source for the following systems and fermenters. BrewBuilt Jacketed Uni Conical - we recommend one Insulated Tubing Kit for each tank. These kits feature "dry break" quick disconnects that prevent glycol loss and the insulated tubing will increase chilling efficiency and eliminate line sweating from condensation. CoolStix - CoolStix can be added to a wide range of carboys, fermenters, and tanks and the IceMaster works really well in combination. Each CoolStix is available with or without a pump kit; for use with the IceMaster Max 4 you will only need the CoolStix and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Ss Brewtech Fermenters and Brites - Ss BME Chronicals, BME Brites, and Unitanks come with cooling coils and neoprene as standard. The optional chilling FTSs will not be needed for use with the Max 4. The cooling coil for standard Ss Chronicals and Brew Buckets are not sold a la carte and must be purchased with a submersible pump, which is not needed for the Max 4. For standard Chronicals and Brew Buckets you might consider the IceMaster 100 for cost savings. Spike Conical with Optional Cooling Coil - the cooling coil for Spike CF series conicals is available for purchase independently from the TC-100 cooling system. For use with the Max 4 you will only need the coil and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Speidel Tanks with Optional Cooling Jackets - You will need two lengths of tubing to connect the chiller to each tank. Grainfather Fermenters - Grainfather fermenters have standard cooling jackets. You will need two lengths of tubing for each fermenter. Blichmann Fermenators with Optional Cooling Coil - You will need two lengths of tubing for each Fermenator. Capacity It is always difficult to determine exactly how many tanks can be chilled at one time as it depends on what is happening in each tank, if the tank is insulated, and what the ambient temperature is. Cold crashing always requires the most energy and requires tank insulation. We have experimented with capacities and can provide this general guide based on a 75°F ambient and neoprene insulation. Neoprene provides a modest amount of insulation so you would obtain better results using Armaflex or a higher R rated insulation. Capacity calculated at cold crashing to a target temperature of 38°F while the ambient temperature is 75°F with neoprene insulation (double tank capacity for ale fermentation temperature control): 2 - 1BBL (31 Gallon) Jacketed Tank 2 - 1/2BBL (15-20 Gallon) Tanks 3 - 10-14 Gallon Tanks 4 - 5-7 Gallon Tanks Set Up In order to hook up the IceMaster to your fermenter or tank's cooling system, you will need 2 lengths of tubing per vessel. All tubing connections should be secured with hose clamps. Length 1: Barb of 1st bulkhead (IN) to cooling system outlet
Length 2: Barb of 2nd bulkhead (OUT) to cooling system inlet

This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Barebottle Brewing Company This light and refreshing lager has a Mexican pilsner framework with a German Helles twist Includes Crystal and Saaz hops Estimated ABV: 4.7% Estimated IBUs: 18 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer The most compelling stories always have a twist. Barebottle's award-winning Torcido is a Mexican pilsner with a German Helles twist. Combining these styles results in a light and refreshing lager that would make even M. Night Shyamalan do a double take. Originally developed by Barebottle brewer John "Magic" Montes De Oca, Torcido Torcido took gold in the International Pilsener category of the 2019 Great American Beer Fest and in turn became the inaugural inductee into the Viking Malt Hall of Fame. Brewed with Viking Pilsner, flaked corn, a dash of Carahell®, and hopped with two additions of Crystal and Saaz. Barebottle Brewing Company was born in San Francisco, CA with the idea that craft brewing shouldn't adhere to the strict guidelines of established beer styles. Founded by a trio of friends and former classmates, they continue to pay homage to their homebrewing roots by printing a scaled down version of their recipe on every label. If you ever see one of their creations out in the wild, we highly recommend that you buy it, drink it, and then brew it!

A proprietary blend of food-grade phosphate buffers to lock in mash pH levels Takes the guesswork out of using brewing salts and acids to adjust your pH Reduces scaling in heat exchangers, fermenters, and kegs Optimize the enzymatic activity of malt, help clarify wort, and often raises the starting gravity Never worry about pH again! One tablespoon of 5.2 per 5 gallon batch and your water is instantly adjusted to the perfect pH of 5.2, no matter what your starting pH was. It will not add any flavors to your mash water whatsoever. 5.2 optimizes the enzymatic activity of your malt, helps to clarify the wort, and may even help to raise your starting gravities. Also, using 5.2 in the boil will give you more consistent hop usage, and will also keep hard water salts in solution, which will result in less scaling in your heat exchangers, fermenters, and kegs. If you are doing all-grain you add it to your mash water - 1 tablespoon per 5 gallon batch regardless of mash water volume. You do not need to add any extra to your Hot-Liquor tank or Boil Kettle.

One fourth as sweet as cane sugar (sucrose) and non-fermentable by yeast. Use lactose when you want to sweeten a dry or bitter wine or beer. Also used to add sweetness and body to beers such as sweet stouts (milk stouts). Add a small amount, mix, and taste. Lactose can be added until desired flavor is obtained. There is no fermentation period or rest needed, so wine/beer may be bottled immediately. Add to hot water and mix thoroughly before adding to wine/beer. Add at end of fermentation, before bottling.
Usage: 8 oz. per 5 gallons, or to taste

Pizza Port in Solana Beach was the first of three brewpubs to open under the Pizza Port name. Brandon Edwards, who used to be an employee of Morebeer, has been brewing in Solana Beach for a number of months, and with Pizza Port for a few years. Brandon made this recipe to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Toronado beer bar opening in San Diego. This brown ale is pretty malty and hoppy, but we wouldn't expect anything less from Brandon!

We Like Space will convert your carbon-based taste buds into pure energy and beam your consciousness to unknown worlds! The flavor of this high-gravity, fluffy-soft brew is like drinking the nectar from an interstellar pineapple while sitting on a beach of turquoise sand, watching sanguine waves crash and recede against the backdrop of a binary sunset. Travelers beware this quasar quenching Hazy Double IPA. Journey too close and it will trap your senses in orbit, slowly pulling you beyond the event horizon to a point where your desire for beer becomes a singularity.
With a 12 oz payload of Citra®, El Dorado, and Mosaic®, We Like Space is one of our most highly-hopped recipe kits. Extremely tropical, with notes of passion fruit, mango, citrus, and pineapple. A heavy helping of Flaked Oats provides a full body and creamy texture, fine-tuned by a late boil addition of maltodextrin.
The out-of-this-world graphic is as much of an inside joke as the name itself. After a long brainstorm of potential beer names, the resulting list had an overwhelming theme of sci-fi and astronomical references. When a coworker remarked that the names didn't make sense, noticing that there were no additions of Galaxy or Comet, our intrepid kit developers looked at one another, shrugged, looked back at their coworker and said flatly "We like space."

Have you been struggling with fermentation temperature swings? The BrewBuilt Neoprene Carboy Sleeve works great for maintaining the internal temperature of your 5, 6, or 6.5 gallon glass carboy. If you aren't fermenting in a temperature-controlled environment your beer is likely rising and falling with the ambient temperature, and these swings can stress out yeast and have a negative effect on the finished product. This 6 mm thick neoprene sleeve will help retain the heat naturally produced by fermentation activity and provide some protection from the ambient environment, leading to more consistent fermentation temps, happier yeast, and less off flavors in your beer.
We highly recommend the neoprene sleeve for use with the BrewBuilt Carboy CoolStix. The added insulation will lower the amount of cycles needed to maintain fermentation temperatures and is a must-have for cold crashing.

Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends!
This incredibly unique recipe leans on a smoky quality that was once a staple of old-world English porters
Includes Northern Brewer and Kent Goldings hops
Estimated ABV: 5.4%
Estimated IBUs: 28-34
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
This beer combines the richness of black malt with the old-world smokiness of Bamberg: a Franconian village that is at once worldly and yet devoted to its traditional ways. Brewed with an ale yeast, it mimics the origins of English porter, a beer made solely from brown malts dried over a direct wood fire. And since you'll never find a beer like this at your local liquor store, you'll have to brew it to appreciate the flavorful treats it can offer. With an astounding Two Pounds of Rauch Malt, any fan of smoked beers will fall in love with Ray's beer! Ray recommends British Ale yeast, WLP005.
Ray began brewing in 1989 after seeing a homebrew store ad at a Chicago hamburger shack. "The first batch was pretty good," he says, "but the second one was awful. Fortunately, I had already brewed the third batch before tasting the second, or that might have been the end of things. After tasting that beer, there was no looking back: I dove headlong into brewing and tasting and learning as much as I could about the art of brewing." That informaton was put together in his book, "Designing Great Beers", which has since become a must-have for any serious brewer. Over the years he has brewed more than 200 batches. When he started all-grain brewing in 1990 there weren't many options for buying mashing equipment, so he made his own 10-gallon vertical Coleman cooler Mashtun. More than 90 percent of the 200 batches he had made over the years were produced on the homemade equipment--although now the mash tun has been retired after some unsuccessful modifications a few years back. You may now know Ray as the founder of the highly successful Cicerone Program which certifies and educates beer professionals.

Derived from T-90 Azacca® pellet hops to perfectly replicate the aroma profile while omitting undesirable compounds found in hop vegetal matter
Flavor/Aroma: Tropical, Citrus, Pine
The perfect hop: Using 100% hop-derived terpenes, Abstrax builds exact profiles to match the flavor and aroma of an exemplary lot of Citra® hops
Consistent results every time. Eliminates the variance of using hops that may differ by age, crop year, storage conditions, growing region, processing method or farm
Replace pellet hops: 5mL is equal to roughly 5.5 oz of pellet hops, while 1 oz of Quantum is equal to 2 lbs of pellet hops
Azacca® Quantum Brite
Coming from the ADHA breeding program and bursting with tropical fruit and ripe mango notes, with bright citrus top notes and delicate pine, Azacca® is a dark horse winning many races in the high aroma, high alpha category.
Optimized Hop Extracts
Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment.
Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around.
Quantum Tastes Better
The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum.
Dosage
Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
No yield loss from absorption
Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll
Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.

Moonraker brewing is an absolute favorite amongst our staff members here in California. So, when they agreed to collaborate on a beer kit, we were through the moon. Moonraker is located in Auburn, CA and prides themselves on sustainability and quality. Their pedigree and collection of awards are undoubtedly incredible. Excelling at hazy IPAs, as well as traditional and experimental styles, everything produced is orally orgasmic. The beer is so delicious, if seen on tap in the wild, one MUST order the obligatory pint.
When galaxies collide, stars and planets alike are ripped apart with all types of matter being flung hither and yon. Luminescent particles are scattered to the ether, condemned to wander the void or bound to coalesce into new celestial bodies. Some believe that amongst the chaos of colliding fragments, a mythical form of cosmic dust condenses into Space Nectar—matter so delicious that our Terra-bound taste buds would surely find it incomprehensible. Physics be damned, Moonraker Brewing Company's extraordinary Hazy IPA is the best estimation of what it may be like to take in this heavenly ambrosia. Space Nectar overflows with flavors of peach, apricot and orange sherbet. Over half of the hop bill is comprised of Cryo Hops® which lend a clean, pungent aroma to this absolute juice bomb. A healthy helping of pale wheat malt and flaked wheat provide the perfect amount of fuzz to complement the bright notes of stone fruit.
If you can't wait to taste this juice bomb because it smells so good in the fermenter, don't worry! You can order directly from the brewery if you live in California! Try some of their constantly rotating selections alongside your own creation to see how they compare!
Moonraker's head brewer, Brad Johnson, recommends cooling the wort to 170°F before adding the whirlpool addition to really make those hops pop. Ferment with Imperial Juice A38 or similar strain to add the ideal finishing touch.

In fact, if you prefer a beer that looks and tastes more like water, we recommend you leave this page immediately. Your feelings might get hurt just reading about it...
Our Arrogant Bastard clone easily has one of the most complex malt profiles of any of our kits. The clean bitterness from Magnum hops allows the rich flavors of Aromatic, Special B, and Caramel Munich malts to control your taste buds. The aromatics of Chinook hops blend perfectly with these malts, creating an intense combination of confusion and satisfaction at the same time. After your first sip, if you're thinking "Whoa. That was interesting, intense, & delicious!" you know you brewed it right!

Nose Goblin from Ghost Town Brewing in Oakland, CA is their infamous West Coast-style Imperial IPA with big honking notes of white grapes, melons, berries, and uncouth levels of dankness. This dangerously smooth double IPA is all about the hops with very little malt character. Almost exclusively comprised of Pilsner with just a dash if acidulated malt, Nose Goblin is a beautiful clear straw color in the glass. Your nose if free to pick up all of the incredible flavor and aroma contributed from ample whirlpool and dry hop additions.
Ghost Town Brewing's Nose Goblin took Gold at the 2021 Great American Beer Festival, besting 170 other beers submitted in the Imperial IPA category. Although Ghost Town will switch up the hops on every edition of Nose Goblin, this kit is modeled after the same recipe that took 1st at GABF, featuring additions of Nelson, Strata, and Mosaic® CRYO HOPS®.
