The BrewBuilt Ultimate Chilling package includes everything you'll need to maintain a precise level of temperature control throughout the fermentation process. The X3 Jacketed Conical is second-to-none in homebrew-level cooling capabilities—mirroring the fermenter design that professional brewers have long relied on to keep their temperatures in check. And what better unit to provide the cooling solution than the IceMaster Max 2? This low-profile glycol chiller provides all the cooling capacity you'll need and is compact enough to ride shotgun on the included stainless steel work table.
X3 Jacketed Uni Conical & IceMaster Max 2
The X3 Jacketed Uni Conical offers cutting edge design features that have long been reserved for pro-level fermentation tanks. Circulating cooling solution through an external cooling jacket offers superior cooling power when compared to internal cooling coils, and eliminates the need for cleaning a wonky apparatus after you've transferred out your finished beer. This pressurizable fermenter also sports a neoprene jacket for added insulation, Flex Chamber collection container for yeast harvesting or trub dumps, internal floating racking tube for clear beer transfers, and so much more! The IceMaster Max 2 makes for the perfect tag team partner, providing all the cooling capacity you'll need for small-volume batches. And with two built-in submersible pumps with independent controllers, you can always add a sidekick fermenter and control both batches simultaneously.
BrewBuilt Insulated Glycol Tubing Kit
In addition to the conical and chiller, the kit also includes an insulated tubing set that improves chilling efficiency and eliminates line sweating. The kit consists of:
1 - Insulated Tubing Set (2 x 6' lines)
2 - High Temp Plastic Female QDs w/ 3/8" Barb*
2 - High Temp Plastic Male QDs w/ 1/2" MPT*
2 - 1.5" Tri-Clamps
2 - 1.5" T.C. Gaskets
2 - 1.5" T.C. x 1/2" FPT Adapters
*These premium quick disconnects feature shutoff valves that provide a "dry break" when they're disconnected. That means no cooling solution leaking all over your brewery every time you take the system apart for cleaning. The Female QDs are installed on the insulated tubing, and the Male QDs are installed on the T.C. x FPT Adapters that connect to the cooling jacket's inlet and outlet.
Stainless Steel Work Table
The heavy-duty stainless steel work table is the final piece that makes this the Ultimate Chilling Package. Saddle up the X3 Conical and IceMaster Chiller to reduce the footprint of your brewery. And with the swivel rolling casters installed, you'll have easy mobility to move your setup if ever needed.
Please Note: Avoid moving the table while the Conical is resting on top or in use. This can lead to injury or damage to the conical and surrounding area. The table cannot accommodate the 25 or 38 gal X3 conicals.

Made specifically for whirlpooling, this fitting angles ricrculating wort along the kettle wall for a more efficient whirlpool effect
Doubles as a kettle maximizer, allowing you to pull wort from below the depth of your kettle's bottom port
Rotate to your preferred pick-up height in the kettle to leave trub behind when transferring to fermenter
Compatible with kettles 12" in diameter and larger
This unique tri-clamp fitting works perfectly for whirlpooling hops at the end of the boil and doubles as kettle maximizer when transferring out to your fermenter. When recirculating wort through the bottom port, wort will be returned to flow along the kettle wall for a more efficient whirlpool effect, drawing vegetal matter into the center of your kettle. When transferring wort out, the fitting will then pull from the side of the kettle where matter has been cleared, and by angling the end of the tube downwards, you'll be able to pull liquid from below the depth of your kettle's bottom port without the need to tip your vessel.

The BrewBuilt SlingBlade is an innovative electric heating element designed to promote a rolling boil and even heat distribution. Shaped for Performance and Convenience The SlingBlade's unique crescent-shaped design positions all of the heating power on one side of the kettle, sending thermal energy upward to the surface that then cascades downward on the opposite side of the kettle. This movement creates a dynamic turbulence that evenly distributes heat while creating a vigorous, rolling boil. Other heating elements stick right out into the middle of the kettle or use a full circle design that rings the kettle wall. This can cause an obstruction for immersion chillers or make it difficult to stir without banging into the element. The SlingBlade was designed to avoid these issues. By remaining on one side of the kettle, the element will be out of the way of your immersion chiller, and since the element follows the curvature of the kettle wall, it won't interfere with the flow of wort during whirlpool. Ultra-Low Watt Density An electric element transfers power to your wort by applying heat, but if this heat is too concentrated you will get local heating that is hotter than 212°F. This catalyzes Maillard Reactions, which can lead to darker beer than intended and produce unwanted caramelization. Think of these reactions like roasting a marshmallow. First it gets a light brown, we call this Maillard reactions, a little hotter and it gets a dark brown, we call this caramelization, then it turns black and we call this pyrolysis (burnt or scorched). While all kettles undergo these reactions, an electric element can concentrate more heat into a small area, which can quickly scorch your wort. Our experience is that at 90-watts per square inch recipes need to be modified to account for the element and light beers never come out quite right. The SlingBlade element was designed at 50-watts per square inch to reduce the chance of scorching while still providing a vigorous boil. For even lower watt density, consider the Boil Vigor Controller. Tri-Clamp Connection The SlingBlade installs quickly and easily on any kettle with a T.C. ferrule thanks to the curved, non-circular design. This also makes it a breeze to remove the element for cleaning between uses. The SlingBlade heating elements were designed to fit perfectly with BrewBuilt brewing kettles, but you may find them suitable for other kettles as well. They should be used with T.C. ferrules no longer than 1" in length. For dimensions and recommended minimum kettle diameter, please see the chart below. Temperature Rating:
When not under pressure, do not expose to liquids above 131°F
When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F*
*Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years.
Kegland Part number: KL47289
NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. Hydro test instructions are available below. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.

Chux DIPA from Danville Brewing Company in Danville, CA is all about the hops. This celebration of hop flavor is packed with bright, citrusy tropical aromas that jump from the glass! Most of the IBUs come from a "First Wort" addition of Magnum. This process refers to adding hops to your kettle as soon as you begin collecting wort from your completed mash, resulting in a very smooth bitterness up front. From there, healthy aroma additions of Cascade, Citra®, Mosaic®, and Strata are combined for an incredibly expressive Double IPA.
Danville's Chux DIPA beat out 218 other entries to bring home Bronze in the Imperial India Pale Ale category at the Great American Beer Festival in 2017.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Aerate your wort automatically with this complete aeration system. Includes compact air pump, air filter, diffusion stone, and EVABarrier tubing. This aeration system diffuses oxygen into your wort using the air around you, so there's no need to buy pure oxygen cylinders again and again. The down side is that aeration takes longer than oxygenation. Because the atmosphere is only about 20% oxygen, the diffusion stone must be left running in the wort for approximately 30–120 minutes (but even 5 minutes of aeration is better than shaking the carboy). The sterile filter will prevent contamination during this period, but you will need to monitor the fermenter periodically for possible over foaming. To clean your stainless stone, we recommend boiling it for several minutes and storing it in a zip lock bag between uses. It can clog easily with the oil in your fingers, so use gloves when attaching it to the tubing. NOTE: You will need to use hot water to soften the 4 mm x 8 mm EVABarrier tubing when attaching the stone. Needle nose pliers can help to widen the tubing, if necessary. Hose clamps won't be required once it's attached. You will also need to cut a short piece of tubing to bridge the connection from the air pump to the air filter and the air filter to the diffusion stone. You do not want the air filter to get wet or be inserted into your fermenter, so keep the air filter close to the pump. The sanitary air filter can last up to 1 year, but should be replaced if there are any signs of discoloration. Whole cone hops are often preferred for dry hopping as they maintain contact while floating in the beer and are easier to remove
Adding whole cone hops directly to the mash tun is a great way to add flavor and help clarify wort
Amarillo® hops have become super popular with microbrewers. Brewers are describing the flavor and aroma as a supercharged version of Cascade. Floral, tropical, and citrus (lemon, orange and grapefruit) characteristics. However, it has a distinctive orange character to it that is very different from Cascade. Supply has been very limited the last few years so make sure to buy some while it is available.
Whole cone hops are typically the preferred format for dry hopping as they maintain contact with the beer by floating, they are easier to remove than pellets and they add a unique character to the beer. Adding whole cone hops directly to the mash tun is also a great way to add flavor and clarify your wort.

With the BrewRO System you can have access to purified water any time you want without ever leaving the house! This multistage RO/DI water purification system removes 99.9998% of contaminants in water, giving you a clean slate to custom tailor your water profile for your next recipe. Water produced from the BrewRO system is 0 parts per million total dissolved solids. Now that's pure!
Water chemistry is perhaps one of the most important (and most intimidating) aspects of brewing a great beer. After all, water is one of the main ingredients! If the tap water at home isn't up to snuff, you probably find yourself making a trip to the store before every brew day to load up on distilled water. Using distilled water is a great strategy that enables you to build your water profile from scratch. This gives you total control over the water's mineral content and pH, allowing you to create the ideal water profile for any particular style. But the gallons upon gallons of store bought distilled water quickly add up, and only increase the cost of each brew day.
The BrewRO System comes in two configurations for either city water or well water. They function the same, but come with different filter configurations depending on your water source. Before entering the deionization filter and reverse osmosis membrane, the city water system runs water through two carbon filters, whereas the well water system runs through a sediment filter and then a single carbon filter. The system is conveniently contained within a carrying case with inlets and outlets built into the side. When you're ready to use the BrewRO, simply hook up the white inlet tube to your spigot with the included garden hose adaptor*, run the red "rejected water" tube to a storm drain or water reclamation bucket, and run the blue "treated water" tube to your collection vessel. It's that easy!

Aerating your wort leads to faster, healthier fermentation, and that means better beer! Stop lifting and shaking carboys to try to introduce oxygen for your yeast--smart brewers use the right tool for the job.
Our Aeration Partial System comes with an inline filter, stainless steel diffusion stone, and tubing (the tubing that attaches to your pump is 1/8" ID). This kit does not include the air pump. Most aquarium style air pumps will work; we recommend a deep water pump.
About the inline filters: There are two sides to the filter - an "in" and an "out". The direction you use doesn't matter, however, you want to take note of which way you first push air through it and always keep it that way. There is an arrow on the edge of the filter housing that we use to keep the airflow going one direction when using it. The filter should never get wet, so don't try and sanitize it by dunking it in sanitizer. If you want to clean the outside of it, use Alpet D2. To store the filter, use a little tinfoil on the ""In"" of the filter and store in a zip-lock bag. Can last up to 1 year. Discard if there are any signs of discoloration.
The stone is attached to semirigid polyethylene tubing temp rated from -40°F to 140°F.
STORE DRY AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT SANITIZE FILTER.

Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets
Roughly twice as poetent as traditional T-90 hop pellets; dose at a rate of 40-50%
Increase yield by reducing beer loss to vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter
Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer!
Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil.
Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material.
Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier.
Typical Hop Statistics:
Alpha Acids: 21.0 – 26.0%
Beta Acids: 7.0 – 10.0%
Total Oil: 2.5 – 4.5%

Reduce heating time during your mash with the Gen 4 BrewZilla
Redistribute recirculating wort for longer heating element exposure
Improve heat distribution throughout the mash
Speed up heating times with the Heat Exchanger Dish (HED) for Gen 4 BrewZillas. This optional upgrade accessory redirects the flow of wort so that it spends more time exposed to the heating elements before reaching the center drain at the bottom of the kettle and being recirculated. Due to the concave bottom and central draining hole on the Gen 4 BrewZilla, recirculating wort will pass through the malt pipe and then down through the boiler false bottom following the path of least resistance. This can cause wort to make a B-line for the drainage hole and reduce the wort's exposure to the unit's heating elements. With the HED installed, wort will be directed to the edge of the BrewZilla base and pass over the elements for a longer period and reduce the time needed to heat to your set temperature.
For use with the Gen 4 65L BrewZilla. It is not compatible with any previous generations of BrewZillas or DigiBoils.
The HED has been pressed into a slight concave shape to match the curvature of the boiler false bottom. Includes a longer eye bolt assembly than the one included with the false bottom.
NOTE: The order of bolt to washer to nuts goes as follows. Eye bolt, washer, false bottom, washer, nut, HED, then wing nut. This is so that the eye bolt does not come completely removed when and if you clean underneath the Heat Exchanger Dish.

Track your fermentation progress without ever disturbing your wort! The Tilt Hydrometer and Thermometer is added directly to your fermenter to provide real-time data on the current gravity and temperature of your wort, eliminating the hassle and potential contamination that comes from opening your fermenter to pull samples. The Tilt is especially useful for brewers fermenting in glass carboys or plastic fermenters that don't have spigots for sample taking. Designed for homebrewing, the Tilt hydrometer lets you instantly read your brew's specific gravity and temperature on your compatible Apple iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone/tablet or Tilt Pi. Most Bluetooth 4.0+ devices will work with the Tilt. You can then optionally log data to the cloud using their free Google Sheets template or other 3rd party cloud platforms. Tilt's goal is to help homebrewers brew better beer. The Tilt hydrometer allows you to check the specific gravity and temperature of your beer while it's fermenting, without ever having to open your fermenter or pour out any of your precious brew. This makes brewing more consistent and easier to track. Here are some of the new features of the Tilt: Range: Better reception and range. With the increased transmission power your Tilt will send data through larger, thicker-walled fermenters. Precision: Upgraded sensors. With an improved temperature sensor and accelerometer your Tilt will operate with more precision. Efficiency: Reduced power consumption so more brews, less battery changing. New Look: Newly designed custom circuit board and harness. If using multiple Tilt hydrometers for different batches of fermenting beer you must use a different color for each batch. The app will not read multiple hydrometers of the same color. Each Tilt comes calibrated and ready to go with a pre-installed battery that lasts 12-24 months depending on usage. Just download the free app, sanitize your Tilt, drop it in your fermenter, and start taking readings with your phone, tablet, or Tilt Pi. The specific gravity is accurate +/- 0.002 within the Tilt's range of 0.990 to 1.120. The thermometer is accurate +/- 1°F (+/- 0.5°C). Download the free Tilt app at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or get the free Tilt Pi download.

Made in Italy, these are premium glass carboys are set apart from others because the glass has a more uniform thickness with less inclusions. Inclusions, or internal defects, occur when the glass is not cooled slowly over a longer period of time. This 3-gallon size works great for splitting up batches, making mead, and topping off wine.
Our top recommendation for glass carboys.
Fits a #6.5 rubber stopper. It can also accommodate a #6 rubber stopper or a #6–7 universal stopper/medium carboy hood.

Convection toasted Oak Cubes made in the US from American Oak.
These Oak Cubes impart similar flavors as the equivalent oak type and toast level chip, but extract more slowly giving you more control over the final impact in your beer.
These cubes are produced from staves of American oak that have been air-seasoned for 18-24 months, then toasted to a Medium Toast. They will add a sweet, butterscotch note with a hint of bourbon char to your beer.
Suggested dosage is 2-4 oz per 5 gallons of beer.

Estimated ABV: 6.5%
Estimated IBUs: 53
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
Creek Park from Wondrous Brewing Company in Emeryville, CA is an incredibly refreshing West Coast IPA hopped with Nelson, Citra® and Centennial. All three hops are incorporated at each stage of the hopping schedule from the late boil aroma addition, to whirlpool, to dry hopping. With no specialty grains in the malt bill to distract your senses, you'll hone right in on the delicious hop character of citrusy lemon, grapefruit and gooseberry.
This kit recipe was given to us by our friend and former MoreBeer! employee, Wynn Whisenhunt. One of the many MoreBeer! past employees to turn pro, Wynn is now the owner and head brewer of Wondrous Brewing Company. If you want to brew it as they do at Wondrous, Wynn suggests using WLP001 California Ale yeast for fermentation. Ferment until complete at 66°F then dry hop and raise the temp to 68°F for 6 days. D-test then crash! If you're kegging, force carb to 2.6 volumes of CO2.

Brutzyme by CellarScience is an enzymatic blend used to produce dry beers. Amyloglucosidase, alpha amylase, and pullulanase enable the hydrolysis of starch and dextrins into fermentable sugars that yeast can ferment. Perfect for making Brut IPAs or any other style where a low gravity, dry finish is desired.
Use:
Add 1/4 tsp per 5 gallons at the beginning of fermentation. Brutzyme can be added directly to the fermenter at the same time yeast is pitched. Works best at a temperature range between 50-68°F and a pH of 4-5.5.
Additional Notes:
Brutzyme is a mix of amyloglucosidase, a-amylase, pullulanase and other dextrinases capable of breaking down the α-1,4 and α-1,6 glycosidic linkages of starch, dextrins and oligosaccharides completely into fermentable sugars. Brutzyme is extremely affective for making very dry beers, especially Brut IPAs. Store at temperatures under 70°F.
The recommended shelf life is 12 months from the date the package is opened.

This 2-micron stainless steel air stone threads onto the side port of the X-Series Uni Flex Chamber, allowing you to quickly oxygenate or carbonate wort, or purge the Flex Chamber of oxygen when dry hopping. You can leave the air stone in place during filling and fermentation, and easily connect gas via the Ball Lock Quick Disconnect.
Avoid touching the stone with bare hands, as the oils on your fingers can cause clogging issues. We recommend sanitizing and blowing gas through the stone before and after each use.
