Hard Seltzer Flash Brewing® Kit
Flash Seltzer is a simplified system for producing clean, low-calorie hard seltzer with a strong focus on clean fermentation and minimal off-flavors. Sugar-based fermentations lack the natural nutrients found in beer and wine. This kit pairs Flash Yeast with CellarScience Dynamo 800, a nutrient formulated specifically for seltzer fermentation.
Dynamo 800 supplies the nitrogen yeast need to ferment efficiently in sugar-only environments, supporting a clean-fermenting process that helps minimize the risk of sulfur, fusel alcohols, and other off-flavors. Fermentation can finish in as few as 5 days.
Flash Brewing® Kits
Introducing MoreBeer!'s Flash Brewing® Kits! Designed for both novice and seasoned homebrewers, these innovative recipe kits allow you to simply mix the ingredients with water and add yeast for fermentation. This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.
Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor. Flash Yeast™ starts quickly and consistently produces clean beer that lets the malt and hops shine. The result is a high-quality beer that will absolutely surprise you.
If you want to read more about the development of Flash Brewing® at MoreBeer! or have more questions please read our Frequently Asked Questions.

For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.
Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Irish moss is a specific type of algae that is used as a thickener in a variety of products. In beer making, Irish moss is added during the last 15 minutes of the boil, to help coagulate and settle out proteins. It improves formation and compaction of the hot-break, the gelatinous mass that forms after boiling and during cooling. Some users recommend prior rehydration in water, or a full hour boil with Irish moss, but common usage is 15 minutes in the boil.

Convection toasted Oak Cubes made in the US from French Oak.
These Oak Cubes impart similar flavors as the equivalent oak type and toast level chip, but extract more slowly giving you more control over the final impact in your beer.
These cubes are produced from staves of French oak that have been air-seasoned for 18-24 months, then toasted to a Medium Toast. They will add a sweet, butterscotch note with hints of Vanilla and Spice to your beer.
Suggested dosage is 2-4 oz per 5 gallons of beer.
1.8° L - Briess Brewers 2-Row is a fantastic base malt that can be used for all beer styles. Briess 2-row contributes a clean, sweet, and slightly malty character along with a light straw color. Briess Brewers Malt is malted in Wisconsin in small batches and is an excellent fit for all ales. Use this the same as you would any 2 row base malt and expect amazing results in your glass.
Briess is an American malting company that is vertically integrated with seed facilities, barley collection facilities, and direct relationships with farmers in the state of Wyoming. In this region malt is flood irrigated so that it does not have to rely on rainfall. This has the benefits of quality and consistency for you the brewer. Malt that is flood irrigated is lighter in color since the barley heads see very little rain. The flood irrigation is also consistent and reliable so Briess sees less variability in their malt from year to year.
MoreBeer! visited the Briess malting facilities in Wisconsin and this is a true American company that is still privately held by the Briess family. The late Roger Briess was a huge supporter of homebrewing and attended and sponsored homebrewing events. Yes we like the malt and also the company!
MoreBeer!'s Favorite SmartRef Benefits: Only refractometer we know of that has alcohol correction built in. Gives an accurate reading during fermentation when an original reading is taken Only requires the smallest of samples Dual purpose: Can be used in the field to measure sugar content of grapes Costs less than the Anton Paar EasyDens. EasyDens gives accurate readings at any point during fermentation without the need for an original reading. Our Take: The SmartRef is a very smart digital refractometer. Unlike other refractometers on the market, it will automatically correct for alcohol during fermentation (currently only in beer) and give you an accurate reading. In order for the SmartRef to make the required adjustments for alcohol, it is required that you take an original reading before fermentation. This is a key difference from the Anton Paar EasyDens. With the EasyDens you can take a reading at any point during fermentation without the need of an original reading. Does that feature make the EasyDens worth the extra money? That is up to you of course, but sometimes in brewing we forget to take an initial reading on brew day. When used together the SmartRef and EasyDens allow for some very unique measurements like the ability to know the original gravity of a beer even without an original reading. To learn more about using these meters together, See related product. SmartRef Features: Wide measuring range from 0 to 85 °Brix (0 to 62.7 °P) Accuracy of 0.2 °Brix (0.2 °P) Built-in wort and alcohol correction for beer that is fully configurable Quick readings – results in under 2 seconds Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) Small sample volume requirement (0.4 mL) Free iOS/Android app Record and share readings from the ap Use in conjunction with the EasyDens to determine ABV, ABW, OG, FG, & Real Extract in finished beer The SmartRef Digital Refractometer by Anton Paar is a portable smart pocket device suitable for a wide range of requirements. The SmartGuide+, as a feature in the mobile app, automatically checks any errors of ambient light, impurity, and sample behavior during measurement for you. The device offers more than 15 different measurement units with automatic temperature compensation. Depending on your need, SmartRef enables you to measure the extract content of your beer, the sugar content in wine, the sweetness of fruits and vegetables, the moisture of honey, the salt content of your aquarium or pool, and much more. Smart Technology for Consistent Results The SmartRef portable refractometer is used in combination with a free mobile app for Android and iOS via Bluetooth Low Energy and enables intelligent handling of the measurement results. The app permits easy storage, visualization, management, and sharing of measurement data. SmartGuide+ detects and helps eliminate measurement problems through high ambient light detection, continuous checking of prism and sample condition, and more. In addition to the quick measurement mode, measurements in continuous mode allow a more detailed understanding of the samples’ properties. Over-the-air updates keep your digital refractometer up-to-date with the latest features. SmartRef Measurement Details The SmartRef refractometer measures the refractive index of fluids. This allows retrieval of relevant sample properties in a wide variety of applications. Fast temperature stabilization and automatic temperature compensation for measurement results make additional calculations and correction tables obsolete. The unit has an IP6 rating and an easy-to-clean stainless steel sample well. SmartRef supports a one-point zero adjustment with distilled water and requires only a few drops of sample (0.4 mL). SmartRef displays results in under two seconds and has a measurement range of 0 °Brix to 85 °Brix with an accuracy of 0.2 °Brix. High Variety of Measurement Applications Brix refractometer: For wine, juice, honey, sauces, jams, fruits, vegetables, and maple syrup. Originally released in 2013, Cashmere was developed by Washington State University as a cross between Cascade and Northern Brewer. With a higher alpha acid content than Cascade, this dual-purpose hop has a smooth bitterness, but really shines as a late addition hop when used at knock out, whirlpool, or dry hopping. Expect an herbal, slightly spicy aroma with notes of lemon, lime, melon and stone fruit.

Made specifically for whirlpooling, this fitting angles ricrculating wort along the kettle wall for a more efficient whirlpool effect
Doubles as a kettle maximizer, allowing you to pull wort from below the depth of your kettle's bottom port
Rotate to your preferred pick-up height in the kettle to leave trub behind when transferring to fermenter
Compatible with kettles 12" in diameter and larger
This unique tri-clamp fitting works perfectly for whirlpooling hops at the end of the boil and doubles as kettle maximizer when transferring out to your fermenter. When recirculating wort through the bottom port, wort will be returned to flow along the kettle wall for a more efficient whirlpool effect, drawing vegetal matter into the center of your kettle. When transferring wort out, the fitting will then pull from the side of the kettle where matter has been cleared, and by angling the end of the tube downwards, you'll be able to pull liquid from below the depth of your kettle's bottom port without the need to tip your vessel.

Chill your beer in the summer and warm your beer in the winter! Temperature control during fermentation is one of the keys to making world class beer at home. It can be difficult to achieve however, often requiring you to have a temperature controlled refrigerator dedicated to fermentation. Now with the FTSs temperature control package and either a Brew Bucket or Chronical, you can maintain perfect fermenting temps all year. This particular unit is designed to work specifically with the 14 gallon Brewmaster Edition Brew Bucket.
The system is elegant and engineered to be as compact and affordable as possible. The FTSs uses a precision digital temperature controller in combination with a 304 stainless steel immersion chiller. The digital controller constantly monitors your beer’s temperature and will activate the very quiet circulation pump to hold the fermentation temperature at your predetermined set point. You can cold crash or lager too! You supply the chill water source, which can be as simple as ice water in a cooler or as involved as glycol from a chiller’s reservoir. We supply the rest of the system. As long time fellow home brewers, this is a system we know many of you have been dreaming about for a long time: advanced temperature control for the beers you make at an affordable price.
Components:
Custom lid w/ 304 SS immersion chiller coil
Pro grade (super quiet) submersible pump
110-240 v power supply
304 SS weldless lid mounted thermowell
Tailored neoprene insulation jacket
Digital temperature controller
Included vinyl tubing
Required from you:
Any type of cooler where you will add water and ice, or frozen jugs, to cool. You will submerse the included pump in the water.
To heat you can use a simple aquarium heater to raise the temperature of the water in the cooler

Derived from T-90 Simcoe® pellet hops to perfectly replicate the aroma profile while omitting undesirable compounds found in hop vegetal matter
Flavor/Aroma: Tropical, Dank, Pine
The perfect hop: Using 100% hop-derived terpenes, Abstrax builds exact profiles to match the flavor and aroma of an exemplary lot of Simcoe® hops
Consistent results every time. Eliminates the variance of using hops that may differ by age, crop year, storage conditions, growing region, processing method or farm
Replace pellet hops: 5mL is equal to roughly 5.5 oz of pellet hops, while 1 oz of Quantum is equal to 2 lbs of pellet hops
Simcoe® Quantum Brite
One of the first truly tropical-forward varieties, Simcoe® defines the balanced catty/blackcurrant and tropical fruit notes so sought after in early West Coast IPAs on through today’s Hazys and Milkshake IPAs.
Optimized Hop Extracts
Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment.
Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around.
Quantum Tastes Better
The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum.
Dosage
Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
No yield loss from absorption
Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll
Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.

An incredibly crushable light pale ale made with White Koji. Refreshing and citrusy
Includes Cascade and Huell Melon hops
Estimated ABV: 5.5%
Estimated IBUs: 12
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
Whether you're in constant search of new ways to push the "traditional boundaries" of brewing, or you're just looking for another crushable crowd pleaser to add to your arsenal of recipes, Proper Sake's White Koji Ale is the beer for you. As the name implies, this recipe is crafted around the specialty ingredient of White Koji. Koji is a staple ingredient in the fermentation processes for sake, soy sauce, miso, and more. But White Koji, in particular, is gaining ground as a new brewing ingredient which can impart a beautiful citric acidity in the final beer.
This recipe from Proper Sake Co. results in an incredibly crushable light pale ale with a slight haze in the glass. The malt character will hang in the background as Cascade and Huell Melon support the overall refreshing, citrusy quality enhanced by the White Koji.
Our friends at Proper Sake Co. are specialists in Kimoto and Yamahai sake production—and have been known to apply their fermentation knowledge to a beer or two. Next time you find yourself in Nashville, TN, pop into Rice Vice bar to sample from their amazing selection of sake.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
This highly concentrated form of White Labs Ultra Ferm is intended for professional breweries. The dosage rate is 2.5mL per 31 gallons.
Reduce saccharification time, break down starches in unmalted cereals, and increase attenuation with one simple product! Ultra-Ferm from White Labs is a highly concentrated liquid amyloglucosidase derived from a select strain of Aspergillus niger. Rather than acheiving 75 to 80% hydrolisis of present starches, as you would with traditional brewing methods, Ultra Ferm allows total hydrolisis of dextrins to fermentable glucose, from all types of starch.
UltraFerm WLN4100 makes for the perfect additive when brewing a Brut IPA or Champagne Beer by eliminating residual sugar, allowing you to acheive the dry flavor profile that is signature to the style. It can also be used for the production of low calorie and extra high-alcohol beers, as well as light or diatetic beers.
Add at the beginning of the mash-in. Ultra-Ferm optimal pH is between 3.5 and 5.5. Temperature should not exceed 140°F. Amyloglucosidase activity is completely destroyed when the wort is held at 185°F for 10 minutes.
We've experimented with adding this enzyme at different stages throughout the brewing process, and found that it isn't limited to the mash stage alone. When pitching Ultra Ferm alongside our yeast, we were able to achieve a final gravity of 1.000, with no negative effect on the finished beer. Great news for the extract brewers out there that want to produce an extra dry beer!
Store at 39-46°F. Stable for 12 months.
10% concentration. Phosphoric acid is said to be tasteless while lactic in large quantities can potentially leave flavor. Being a lower conentration than the Lactic, it is slower to change the pH of your water and therefore more forgiving to use.

Cacao Nibs are a great way to introduce rich chocolate flavor into any beer. Impress your friends with a unique tasting experience!
Cacao nibs (also referred to as cocoa nibs) are the key ingredient in chocolate. They are crushed and roasted seeds from the cacao plant. Tcho Nibs have a wonderful cocoa smell to them, and will provide a very subdued cocoa-like flavor to any beer.
You can use these cacao nibs like you would a dry hop, by adding the cacao nibs to your secondary fermenter or keg for a couple of weeks (4 ounces per 5 gallons is a great place to start), allowing the beer to draw out the subtle flavors and aromas of the cacao nibs. They can also be used in the boil or mash - wherever you would like to experiment with them. Adding the nibs pre-boil will impart some bitterness, so use a lot less than you would when adding them to a keg. Stone Brewing Company made a stout using cacao nibs in the boil to actually replace some of the hops in the recipe.
These super high quality TCHO cacao nibs go great with darker beers like porters and stouts, but could blend with any beer - perhaps a wit or a saison! TCHO is an American chocolate company in San Francisco, dedicated to producing high end chocolates.
