Faucet shanks allow you to mount a draft faucet just about anywhere. Typically installed in the door or wooden collar of of a converted fridge/freezer, the front of a cooler, or even in your house’s wall when constructing that ultimate home bar!

To get the best pour possible you want to make sure your glass is free of dust, debris, and dish soap residue. The easiest way to do this is with a quick rinse of cold water right before pouring beer into the glass. This drip tray features a push-activated jet that can be hooked up to a pressurized keg or main water supply. To give your glass a quick spritz, simply press it down on the rinsing platform to activate the jet. The drip tray also has a pre-plumbed drain outlet to run to a nearby bucket or drain. For best results feed the jet clean, cold water at a pressure between 15 to 60 psi. If your home draft system is a mix of ball lock kegs and European sanke kegs, having a coupler with ball lock adapters is a huge plus. This allows you to have all your draft lines ending in a ball lock quick disconnect, making it quick and easy to swap lines from sanke keg to ball lock.

The KOMOS Cobra draft tower has a beautiful polished finish and features a built-in glycol loop for chilling. These towers are a gorgeous option for your tap room or home bar. If you have a SodaStream CO2 cylinder then you can use this adapter to attach a CO2 regulator to it and avoid having to use those large 5 lb. CO2 tanks.
This adapter also has a side adjustment pin valve into the SodaStream bottle that enables the pin valve to be engaged once the cylinder, adaptor, and regulator have all been screwed together. This ensures that the gas supply from the bottle to the regulator can be engaged and disengaged while everything is screwed in place.

Sometimes a single draft tower isn't enough for your dream home bar or kegerator. If you're building out a draft system that will have more than four faucets, we highly recommend the KOMOS Double T Bar Draft Tower. Start with the inner most shank hole on either side and work your way outward. We recommend installing each shank and attaching the draft tubing before moving on to the next shank hole. The top section of the tower is 5" in diameter, so most people should be able to reach inside to install the shanks by hand or with the help of a draft wrench. When all the shanks have been mounted, reinsert the foam insulation. The tower may come with more insulation than needed and may need to be cut thinner before reinserting. This brand new, 10 lb aluminum CO2 tank ships free in the 48 contigous states, and because it is made of aluminum rather than steel you can feel confident that it will never rust. It’s called a 10 lb tank because it holds 10 lb of compressed (liquified) CO2. 10 lb of CO2 is enough to dispense 18 five gallon kegs of homebrew.

Installation note: On a fridge there is generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. This is a proprietary draft shank only intended for use with CM Becker X1 and V10 flow control faucets. It will not work with generic or other brands of faucets.
The V10 stainless steel flow control faucet is designed and produced in Germany with some assembly completed in the United States. This faucet contains technology such as the "Closed Piston Chamber with Encapsulated Compression Spring" that allows for a perfect forward seal on the faucet, no beer trapped in dead space to cause the lever to stick, and the ability to push the faucet backwards for an extra creamy head. The compensator itself has an extra long cone for a wider range of compensation and designed to eliminate uncontrolled shifting of the compensator cone. This configuration features a black standard faucet knob, a polished stainless steel faucet lever, and a lever flow control adjustment system.
