These are pricey little guys, but they work great! I can't say I have teenagers running around the house (or children in general), but I do have cats who would loooovvvee to see what 5 gallons of beer looks like on the hardwood floor in my apartment. These locks are expensive, but they will definitely secure your Perlick 525 SS without damage! Once you get the dialed in, it only takes 1.5 turns (for me) to unlock & free. You have the option of unlocking every 90 degrees, which means you get a nice, snug fit. I don't regret this purchase - so much better than the alternative (i.e. downstairs neighbour having a slow-drip beer flow through their ceiling). It's also great that the keys are the same, so if you order a pair (or more), you don't need to worry about needing different keys for these. A+.

I have two Perlick faucets and these work great to prevent someone from walking up and pulling the tap handles. As you turn the key in the lock direction, the locking mechanism basically squeezes the handle into place. You are able to lock it at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions and pull the key out, which in most cases allows you to get a solid squeeze on the handle without fear of damaging the faucet itself.
