        Fit perfectly

        Upgraded my brewing system by enlarging the brew pot. Had to fill the hole where I removed the temperature gauge. That left a hole in my kettle and unusable. The the kit to repair the hole worked perfectly without any special tools, and the pot still looks great

        Is this plug for the BrewMometer with the 1/2" MPT the 1/4" MPT or does it work for both?

        I bought this plug to fill a hole in brew pot when I removed a thermometer. Not sure what you mean by 1/2 MPT or 1/4 MPT. It fit the hole left from thermometer perfectly and hasn’t leaked a drop. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful

        The one I use fits the 1/2". I don't know anything about the 1/4"

        Will this plug up a 7/8" hole?

        Hi Sergio - The washer itself is approaching 7/8th". It would be a loose fit and or may not work.
