Optimal Liquid Consistency: Magnetic-drive impeller evens out temperature gradients and maximizes hop utilization.
Smart Integration: Fully adjustable via FCS Display Module with support for automated interval mixing in future profiles.
Universal Compatibility: Fits most fermentation and brite tanks using tri-clamp adapters for flexible installation.
Agitator for FCS
Impeller based stirring system with magnetic drive for fermentation and brite tanks. The agitator mixes the liquid to even out temperature differences and can in many cases increase the utilization of hops and other additives. Speed is adjustable from the FCS Display Module. The agitator will also be able to be run at intervals in the upcoming advanced fermentation profiles in FCS.
The agitator can also be used without FCS with an adapter (BT1328) and a power supply (BT1324). The motor can be started with the button of top of the drive unit. Speed is controlled by pushing it multiple times and holding the button stops the motor.
Our agitator can be used on most fermentation and brite tanks with the help of adapters, as long as the impeller stays clear of the vertical wall.
Specifications:
Motor: Brushed DC motor, 500 RPM, 24V, 0.5A
Impeller material: POK, acid proof and food grade
Flange: TC 34mm. Ø19mm minimum
Length: 400mm / 14.9" from flange
Connector: LP12 5-pin (CAN bus + 24V)
Note: For F40 and other smaller tanks, it might be necessary to lift the agitator to avoid touching the cone wall using a tee or short pipe.
The BrewBuilt SlingBlade is an innovative electric heating element designed to promote a rolling boil and even heat distribution. Shaped for Performance and Convenience The SlingBlade's unique crescent-shaped design positions all of the heating power on one side of the kettle, sending thermal energy upward to the surface that then cascades downward on the opposite side of the kettle. This movement creates a dynamic turbulence that evenly distributes heat while creating a vigorous, rolling boil. Other heating elements stick right out into the middle of the kettle or use a full circle design that rings the kettle wall. This can cause an obstruction for immersion chillers or make it difficult to stir without banging into the element. The SlingBlade was designed to avoid these issues. By remaining on one side of the kettle, the element will be out of the way of your immersion chiller, and since the element follows the curvature of the kettle wall, it won't interfere with the flow of wort during whirlpool. Ultra-Low Watt Density An electric element transfers power to your wort by applying heat, but if this heat is too concentrated you will get local heating that is hotter than 212°F. This catalyzes Maillard Reactions, which can lead to darker beer than intended and produce unwanted caramelization. Think of these reactions like roasting a marshmallow. First it gets a light brown, we call this Maillard reactions, a little hotter and it gets a dark brown, we call this caramelization, then it turns black and we call this pyrolysis (burnt or scorched). While all kettles undergo these reactions, an electric element can concentrate more heat into a small area, which can quickly scorch your wort. Our experience is that at 90-watts per square inch recipes need to be modified to account for the element and light beers never come out quite right. The SlingBlade element was designed at 50-watts per square inch to reduce the chance of scorching while still providing a vigorous boil. For even lower watt density, consider the Boil Vigor Controller. Tri-Clamp Connection The SlingBlade installs quickly and easily on any kettle with a T.C. ferrule thanks to the curved, non-circular design. This also makes it a breeze to remove the element for cleaning between uses. The SlingBlade heating elements were designed to fit perfectly with BrewBuilt brewing kettles, but you may find them suitable for other kettles as well. They should be used with T.C. ferrules no longer than 1" in length. For dimensions and recommended minimum kettle diameter, please see the chart below. Features: Made from Incoloy alloy with proprietary coating for long life 1.5" Tri-Clamp connection Unique offset design promotes rolling boil Ultra-Low Watt Density eliminates scorching UL Certified components Specs: 240 Volt L6-30 plug 20 Amp breaker required for 10 & 15 gal element 30 Amp breaker required for 22 & 31 gal element 50-gallon kettle requires 2 x BE538 and 2 x 30 amp circuits SKU Kettle Vol. Wattage Length Radius Min. Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

In 2011, the White House home brewed beer for the first time in, well, perhaps centuries! We were super were excited when a MoreBeer! customer first submitted his freedom of information act request for the White House homebrew recipes. We were a little surprised, and we'll say it - let down - when we saw the actual recipes. One MoreBeer! staffer blurted out "Whoa...this seems like beer that Prince Harry should be brewing." English malt extract, English hops, and even an English yeast strain were used; so the only thing truly American was the honey! It seems that we were not the only beer lovers to pick up on this. So while we really, really love English beers as much as the next homebrewer, we think the Commander In Chief of America and his White House Brewmasters should be using fresh ingredients from well...America.
Since we were tweaking the recipe towards this side of the pond, we decided we could also help educate the White House staff on their yeast selection. Yes dry yeast has gotten better but since its for the White House and all, we think they can spring for liquid yeast...and is there any better choice for this recipe than Wyeast 1056 AMERICAN Ale or White Labs 001 California Ale?? Not really. In fact, just queue up the star spangled banner, turn on the football game, and throw some hot dogs on the grill because we are starting to feel pretty patriotic here.
So while we send this kit along with our friendly suggestions back to the White House, YOU can make the exact same beer at home. That way if you are in a diner somewhere on the campaign trail and the president pulls up you can whip out a bottle of the 'Honey Pale the White House Should Be Making' or the 'Honey Porter the White House Should Be Making' and enlighten the Top Dog, homebrewer style.
This American Honey Pale Ale uses all American ingredients, including:
White Wheat, Crystal 15L, and 2-Row grown in the USA
Cascade hops
California Wildflower Honey
Truly a classic American Pale Ale recipe! This ale will deliver a smooth blend of Cascade floral character and biterness, tempered by a slight sweetness from the honey. Hot side hop additions should stay in the kettle and out of the fermenter. Keep all that hop matter from transferring out with your wort using this Adjustable Hop Filter. At 6" diameter and 14" tall, this unit will do well with even the hoppiest beers you brew. Conveniently hangs on the inside of your kettle so you can remove it at any point if needed. The adjustable hook is great for positioning the filter based on the size of your kettle and the volume of wort you're boiling. When fully extended, you can lower the basket an extra 9 inches into the kettle. The perfect filter for brewers that occasionally run a half batch using a large boil kettle. This is a great alternative to hop bags which have the potential to decrease hop utilization compared. While using this filter basket you can add hops directly to your kettle for maximum wort exposure.

Our Cali Mountain Pale Ale is inspired by one of the most iconic pale ales in the country: Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale. This pale ale is a fairly simple recipe, consisting of 2-Row malt, Crystal 60L, and four hop additions. This being said, don't be fooled. The flavors blend together perfectly, creating a complex yet easy to drink homebrew. The bittering hop additions are Magnum and Perle which provide a clean bitterness that balances the sweetness from the Crystal 60L malt perfectly. The aroma hop and dry hop additions are both Cascade, providing a citrus & floral aroma as fresh as the forests in California's mountains!

Compatible with the new T.C. model and the original InfuSsion Mash Tun.
This kit is designed to include all the necessary components to use the recirculation bulkhead included with the InfuSsion Mash Tun for vorlauf and mash recirculation processes. To install the kit on a standard mashtun begin by installing the included 1/2" FPT x 1/2" Barb on the exterior of your mash tun's recirculation bulkhead. Be sure to use PTFE tape for a liquid-tight seal. If using the supplied kit on a TC mashtun, begin installation with included 3/4" TC to 1/2" 90 Barb, 3/4" TC gasket and clamp.
Next, locate the 3/8" knurled locknut, 3/8" silicone tubing, and recirculation manifold. Trim the tubing to your desired length, and then use the hose clamps to secure the two ends of the tubing to the manifold and locknut.
As a best practice, begin the mash recirculation for the first 5-10 mins using the vorlauf attachment to clear any small grain particulate and to set the mash bed, then swap the vorlauf attachment for the recirculation manifold for the remainder of the mash rest. Please keep in mind this kit is designed to use with a wort pump and an external heat source, such as a RIMS tube to maintain mash temps, which is not supplied.

Derived from T-90 Mosaic® pellet hops to perfectly replicate the aroma profile while omitting undesirable compounds found in hop vegetal matter
Flavor/Aroma: Citrus, Pine, Floral
The perfect hop: Using 100% hop-derived terpenes, Abstrax builds exact profiles to match the flavor and aroma of an exemplary lot of Mosaic® hops
Consistent results every time. Eliminates the variance of using hops that may differ by age, crop year, storage conditions, growing region, processing method or farm
Replace pellet hops: 5mL is equal to roughly 5.5 oz of pellet hops, while 1 oz of Quantum is equal to 2 lbs of pellet hops
Mosaic® Quantum Brite
Sharing its parentage with SIM and Nugget, Mosaic® could be considered to be the second most successful hop in the world behind Citra®. Mosaic® is a robust blend of funky grapefruit and pine with light floral notes.
Optimized Hop Extracts
Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment.
Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around.
Quantum Tastes Better
The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum.
Dosage
Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
No yield loss from absorption
Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll
Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.

We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: Ultralight malt extract, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Ever wanted to know what your favorite hop really is? Brew a few of these different Single Hop Experiment recipes to find out!

Founded in 1996, Stone Brewing Co. has unleashed a demand for over-the-top beers. Their flagship, Arrogant Bastard Ale, challenged us to pick up a bottle and drink it, kicking off a cult-like following of the beer and the brewery. For their 12th Anniversary, Head Brewer Mitch Steele and the Stone Brew Crew worked with homebrew recipes from Brewhouse Supervisor Jeremy Moynier and Distribution Supervisor Jake Ratzke to create this huge oatmeal stout, but instead of relying on just hops for the bitterness he added some cacao to the boil kettle. The result is simply amazing! We first had this beer at the shop and thought, "We have to have this recipe"! Mitch and Greg must have felt the same way about this beer that we did and handed it over. Stone Brewing Co. is located in Escondido, Ca, so next time you are in Southern California, make it a point to stop by. They have a fantastic restaurant as well, using locally-grown food and a focus on quality. Learn more at www.stonebrew.com Like we said, this beer is huge - with over 21 pounds of grains in it, there is only one question we have for you ... is your mash tun worthy?

The built-in pump is plumbed to both the recirculation and arm and the bottom ball valve. Recirculate wort during your mash, then close the recirculation valve and pump wort to your fermenter via the bottom valve
Pair with the RAPT-enabled Bluetooth Thermometer, allowing your BrewZilla to calculate a core mash temperature reading and more accurately control temperatures and mash steps
More RAPT-enabled accessories are coming, and future firmware updates can be downloaded to the RAPT Controller itself over the internet
WiFi/Bluetooth Enabled RAPT Controller
The RAPT Controller is mounted to the top of the boiler body, allowing for easy operation when you have the unit set on the ground. The controller can be tilted upwards to give you an even better view, or it can be removed from the BrewZilla entirely if you’d prefer to mount the controller on your wall or lay it down on a workbench. From the controller, you’ll orchestrate your entire brew day. Program mash steps, dial in element power, and operate the integrated pump all from one screen.
But the RAPT Controller is much more than a beautiful, full-color display switch board. Once synced to the RAPT Portal, you’ll be able to track, record and monitor your brews online. No need for handwriting notes or punching brew day details into your phone – all of the data from your brew is automatically logged to your portal profile. This information doesn’t just include your mash profile; it also captures detailed information about your element power and pump activity, opening the door for very precise repeatability.
And the RAPT Portal isn’t just a digital archive for your brew days. With your BrewZilla powered on, you can control your brewery from virtually anywhere using your phone’s web browser. Not sure when you’ll be home from work or your kid’s ball game going into extra innings? No problem! Before you head out, simply log into the RAPT Portal from your phone and tell the BrewZilla to start heating your strike water. Along with remote control, the portal enables you to program alarms and push notifications for all of your boil additions. We’ve all been caught up with a side task and failed to throw in that yeast nutrient or clarifying agent at the end of the boil, but the BrewZilla has the back of even the most forgetful brewer!
But wait, there’s more! In addition to WiFi connectivity, the RAPT Controller is also a Bluetooth gateway device. KegLand is currently developing various Bluetooth devices such as the Bluetooth Beacon Thermometer and other sensors which will be compatible with your brewery upon release. The RAPT Controller is able to receive information from Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, adjusting its processes based on this new stream of information while simultaneously logging it to your RAPT Portal. With the Bluetooth Beacon Thermometer, for example, you’ll be able to feed temperature readings from the top of your mash bed to the controller. The controller will then compare this reading with the main temp probe reading at the base of the kettle and adjust element cycling based on these combined readings.
Finally, the RAPT Controller WiFi connectivity allows you to update the controller’s firmware with a single click. Take advantage of new features and accessories as soon as they become available by simply keeping your BrewZilla connected to your local WiFi network. And again, the WiFi is already built-in! No need to come back for an expensive add-on accessory down the road.
High Capacity Malt Pipe
With an approximately 23.5 lb capacity, the BrewZilla can mash nearly 50% more grain than similar sized models of the Anvil Foundry and Grainfather G30. If you want to fill your fermenter with more than a 5-gallon batch worth of wort, or brew the highest gravity beer recipes, the BrewZilla is the brewhouse for the job. And the included malt pipe is just the beginning. If you want to expand your brewery’s grain capacity even further, KegLand makes Boiler Extension Kits and Extended Malt Pipes for that very purpose. The malt pipe features a perforated section at the bottom which improves mash recirculation flow without sacrificing efficiency.
Concave Base with Center Draining
Leave no wort behind! The concave base with center drain means you’ll be able to extract every last drop of wort to your fermenter. If you’ve brewed in a traditional flat bottom kettle, this center drain may be a bit perplexing at first. Many brewers are used to whirlpooling after the boil to pull hop matter into the center of the kettle, then transfer out using a pick-up tube that pulls from the kettle wall in order to avoid sucking up the solids. But fear not! One of the key features of the BrewZilla is the false bottom protection screen. This screen avoids the need for doing a whirlpool, filtering wort as it transfers and blocking more than 95% of hops and hot break from getting sucked into the pump. This not only prevents blocked pump issues, it also increases the efficiency of your brewhouse by eliminating kettle loss from wort that may have otherwise been left behind.
Ultra Low Watt Density Elements
The concave base on the BrewZilla also allowed for larger heating elements with significantly lower watt density than other breweries. When a lot of energy is coming off of a small element, the local temperature near the element can be so high that it scorches the wort and causes caramelization. Lower watt density essentially means you can produce lighter color beers that would otherwise have fallen victim to caramelization effect. It also reduces that chance of boilovers and reduces stress on the elements which extends their life expectancy.
Easy Access Built-In Pump
The built-in pump allows you to recirculate your wort during the mash for improved efficiency and more even temperature distribution. But it can also be used to transfer your wort from kettle to fermenter rather than relying on a gravity feed, and with the optional CIP Rotar, you can used the pump to clean your BrewZilla (or fermenter) after every use. During your brew day you’ll be able to control the pump from the RAPT Controller with a dedicated button for turning the pump on and off. Another feature you’ll find on the controller is adjusting the pump flow. This doesn’t control the actual volume of the flow (you can do that from the ball valve located on the recirculation arm), but rather cycles the pump on and off automatically based on your setting. At 100%, the pump remains on continuously. But at 80%, the pump will cycle to be on 80% of the time and off 20% of the time. This may not be a feature that every brewer thinks they need, but it’s an excellent way to avoid running the pump dry accidentally, as the time the pump is off allows recirculating wort to filter through the grain bed and back into the pump inlet.
If you flip over the boiler, you’ll find the magnetic drive pump and all the plumbing is right at your fingertips. This means you don’t have to disassemble the base in order to access the pump for cleaning or maintenance if required. It also means the plumbing can be changed more easily too. For instance, the unit comes as standard with the plumbing from the pump feeding both the recirculation arm and the transfer valve, but you change this so the tap outlet bypasses the pump if you prefer.
MoreBeer!'s Final Word
We’ve been selling all-in-one brewing systems ever since they first hit the market, and we have to say that the Gen 4 BrewZilla is not only the most feature-packed unit ever made, it’s also offered at an incredibly competitive price point when compared to other systems. You’ll get all of the cutting edge Bluetooth technology you’d get with the Grainfather and at an exceptionally lower price tag. Plus, you get the WiFi capabilities as standard, rather than as a $100 add-on accessory. When it comes to mash recirculation, that’s yet another built-in feature on the BrewZilla, and the pump can also be used for transferring and CIP cleaning. The Foundry has a great starting price, but if you want to unlock its full potential, you’ll need to spend another $100 for the recirculation pump kit. What’s more, no other system in the same ‘weight class’ has the same grain capacity. And if the standard capacity isn’t quite enough, the BrewZilla can be easily upgraded with a Boiler Body Extension Kit and Extended Malt Pipe. When you purchase the BrewZilla, you can feel confident that you’re investing in a top shelf system and all of the critical features you’re expecting will be included.
Perfect for Distillation
If you want to expand your lineup of homemade libations to offer Spirits in addition to Ales & Lagers, the BrewZilla makes an excellent pot still! Add the Distillation Lid upgrade and pair it with an AlcoEngine Copper Reflux Condenser or Copper Pot Still Top. AlcoEngine Stills have been selling on the home market for years and offer some of the most affordable, beginner-friendly stills you'll find.

Please note: due to patent restrictions in the United States, the malt pipe has been redesigned with one set of bottom feet. This model does not include the "two stage" malt pipe as advertised by KegLand and featured in previous MoreBeer! YouTube videos.
Please Note: When removing the malt pipe to drain after mashing, it is important to do so slowly rather than in one swift pull. If the malt pipe is removed all at once when it is full of wort, it is possible for the draining wort to spray out and over the rim of the brewery through the perforated bottom. Remove the malt pipe slowly so that some of the wort can drain out before it is fully removed and set on its bottom feet. This can be done by hand on the 35L unit, but for the 65L and 100L units we highly recommend using the Pulley System for removing the malt pipe.
Warning: Do not engage the adjustable lid clamps when brewing with the BrewZilla's standard glass lid. The clamps are only intended to be used with distillation lids or other metal accessories. With too much tension, it is possible for the lid clamps to break the glass lid when engaged.
Warning: If you are going to use an extension cord with the BrewZilla, you must ensure that the cord is the correct gauge and properly rated to suit the power requirements of your brewery. See the reference chart below for the recommended gauge based on your unit and the length of cord you wish to use.

Temperature Rating:
When not under pressure, do not expose to liquids above 131°F
When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F*
*Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years.
Please note: when using the FermZilla under pressure, you must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this, fill your FermZilla up with water, apply at least 15 psi pressure, and check for leaks around all caps and threads.
Pressure Stress
If you use the FermZilla to ferment under pressure, or you use CO2 to pressure transfer or force carbonate your finished beer, it is very important that you conduct semi-annual inspections of your tank. Even with perfect care, the FermZilla tank may show signs of wear from pressure stress over time. We recommend visually inspecting your tank for stress creases or other signs of wear once or twice a year. A hydro test should be conducted every two years, even if no signs of wear are found. The process is simple:
Fill the tank to the brim with water
Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher
Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi)
Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished
If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla.
General Care
Taking good care of your FermZilla begins with cleaning and sanitizing the unit before and after use. The tank is made from food-grade PET, which is beautifully clear, but can be sensitive to long soaks in cleaners and acid-based sanitizers. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank.
KegLand Part number: KL47296
NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.

Our Single Hop Experiment series is the perfect way to learn the characteristics of individual hop varietals
Includes a small bittering addition of Magnum and three 2 oz additions of your chosen hop for late boil and at dry hopping
Estimated ABV: 5%
Estimated IBUs: 35

The "Original Gatoraid", Bière de Garde was said to give the French and Belgian farmer a much needed boost of energy during the day, due to the low alcohol and relatively high residual sugar content. Our version has a bit more malt than tradition dictates, but we think you will find this beer highly drinkable. The malt is the focus of this style of beer, with a slight toasty nose from the Munich. A yeasty character is not uncommon, and is achieved by an extended period of contact with the yeast bed – some commercial breweries go for up to six weeks! This should be fermented at 64°F.

Our clone recipe of Sierra Nevada's Hop Hunter IPA a tasty, easy drinking and highly aromatic beer spiked with El Dorado hop oil
Includes Bravo™, Cascade, Crystal, and Simcoe® hops
Estimated ABV: 6.2%
Estimated IBUs: 60
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
Hop Hunter IPA by Sierra Nevada brewing is the inspiration for this delicious recipe. Hop Gatherer is a Hop Hunter clone, which contains all of the same ingredients as the original beer, but gives you the option of what distilled oil you would like to use. We offer the kit with either Chinook or El Dorado farm distilled hop oil. Either way, this makes a tasty, easy drinking and highly aromatic IPA!
A bit about farm distilled hop oil: Distilled immediatley after picking, farm distilled hop oil gives you the bursting aroma provided by fresh hops. By distilling the oil at the farm, the distinct character of a "wet hop" beer is able to be replicated year round. The oil can be added post fermentation, typically at bottling. You can even add the oil directly to your glass! Be careful, it is VERY POTENT!
Light in color and incredibly smooth, this IPA is enjoyed by all. Not too bitter, but absolutely hoppy enough to please the biggest hop head!

If you have a monstrous craving for intense hop flavor, you’ll need a beast of equal proportion to do battle. Enter Hop Mothra! This liquid kaiju isn’t interested in saving (or destroying) Tokyo. Her only motive is to slake your thirst and leave you yearning for more – so much so that you’d swim to Infant Island for another taste. With a nice malt backbone (err thorax?) this beast will soar over your tongue and, with a flap of her wings, send a hurricane of hop flavor to assault your taste buds.
Jim Nielsen’s Hop Mothra IPA uses 2-row for the base and a trio of crystal malts that give this beer a beautiful pale to medium amber color. Perle, Cascade, and Liberty hops lend a spicy aroma with flavors of grape fruit and citrus.
Jim began home brewing in 1994, but it wasn’t until the Great American Beer Festival of ‘98 that he came across a beer that would alter the course of his hobby. Grant’s Brewing Company made a batch of beer especially for the festival – Hopzilla! This beer made such an impression on Jim that he decided to take his passion for home brewing to the next level, and he began his search for a brew system that would allow him to do everything the pros can do. He helped MoreBeer! develop one of our first digitally controlled brew sculptures, and not long after he had brewed his own version of Hopzilla that he (unsurprisingly) enjoyed more than the original – HOP MOTHRA! Raise a glass to Jim, and give thanks for this monster of an IPA.

Jason use to brew up Jim Rossi's Honey-Pale and our B3 Stout and mix them together out of the tap 50/50. Jason decided to take it one step further and started brewing them together. He says "It is a like a Black and Tan" with a honey flavor of course. The beer does not taste like a true stout but is very far from being a Pale Ale. The continually positive response of "wow" from friends and other MoreBeer! customers prompted us to make his unique combination as his own kit, Honey-Stout. Thank you Jason for reminding us that when it comes to beer flavor, there are no rules. Jason recommends English yeast, WLP002.

B25 Brewing System
The B25 is designed to be the ultimate brewing system for kitchens, apartments, and other space-conscious environments. It combines exceptional simplicity and ease of use with the same powerful technology found in its larger siblings.
Indirect heating and the integrated cooling jacket make cleaning quick and effortless, while the 8" touchscreen can be mounted directly on the system or remotely to suit your workspace (optional longer cables available).
Wort flow through the FCS Brew Pump is precisely controlled via the patented CleanCore™ sanitary 3-way valve, conveniently operated from the front of the system. An integrated temperature and liquid level sensor continuously monitor the system and automatically disables both the pump and heating elements if the liquid level becomes too low, ensuring safe operation.
All in all, the B25 is built to be insanely durable and easy to use.

Chill your beer in the summer and warm your beer in the winter! Temperature control during fermentation is one of the keys to making world class beer at home. It can be difficult to achieve however, often requiring you to have a temperature controlled refrigerator dedicated to fermentation. Now with the FTSs temperature control package and either a Brew Bucket or Chronical, you can maintain perfect fermenting temps all year. This particular unit is designed to work specifically with the 14 gallon Brewmaster Edition Brew Bucket.
The system is elegant and engineered to be as compact and affordable as possible. The FTSs uses a precision digital temperature controller in combination with a 304 stainless steel immersion chiller. The digital controller constantly monitors your beer’s temperature and will activate the very quiet circulation pump to hold the fermentation temperature at your predetermined set point. You can cold crash or lager too! You supply the chill water source, which can be as simple as ice water in a cooler or as involved as glycol from a chiller’s reservoir. We supply the rest of the system. As long time fellow home brewers, this is a system we know many of you have been dreaming about for a long time: advanced temperature control for the beers you make at an affordable price.
Components:

Pro grade (super quiet) submersible pump

MoreBeer! is proud to release this Black IPA recipe designed by our local homebrew Club DOZE. This black IPA recipe has been coined the name as 'Diablo Dark Ale' in honor of our resident Mt. Diablo. Here is where the Diablo Order of Zymurical Enthusiasts brew at the foothills fine tuning their homebrew recipes and sharing their passion for making great beer at home.
After winning the AHA Homebrew Club Of The Year in 2010, the Diablo Order Of Zymiracle Enthusiasts (DOZE) put their minds together to collectively craft a beer they felt representative of the club and its brewers. The initiative was taken on as an all club project that spanned 5 months. In the end, over 50 members contributed ideas to this recipe and nearly 40 individual batches brewed by 23 DOZE members were tasted and refined to a single recipe. This beer is inspired by the style many refer to as Cascadian Dark Ale or Black IPA, however it is not intended to fit the mold of any particular guideline. Mostly it is big, dark, hoppy, and delicious.
