German for "old ale", Altbiers are a German version of Brown Ale. A malty beer with a firm bitterness. This beer can be further enhanced by cold aging for a month or two. It is rare to find a good commercial example of Altbier in the U.S. The malt extract for this kit is made entirely from Pilsner Malt, giving it that classic European flavor.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
This industry standard faucet will last a lifetime and will not taint beer flavor. All parts are constructed from stainless steel, which is a strong, food grade metal. Normal faucets wear down with time as the chrome plating wears off and your beer is then exposed to brass. Brass can cause metallic flavors in your beer that don't taste good! This is the first all stainless faucet that has been produced with an affordable price tag. Buy a stainless faucet today and know that you won't have to purchase another faucet in the future. You can also rest easy that your beer will taste just like the brewer intended.
Will fit all North American shanks and towers making it a great replacement faucet. Quick lever action. Polished stainless finish.
Authentic Witbier Flavor: Delivers classic clove, mild pepper, and subtle fruit notes.
Lets Adjuncts Shine: Restrained profile perfectly highlights orange peel and coriander additions.
Enhanced Mouthfeel: Leaves trace maltotriose unfermented for a richer, more satisfying body.
Classic Witbier Haze: Rouses beautifully to create a stable, traditional powdery haze in the glass.
Looking to brew the perfect Belgian Witbier? SafAle™ BW-20 from Fermentis is the ideal choice for crafting authentic, flavor-forward wheat beers. This specialized dry strain delivers a balanced profile of subtle fruitiness paired with the signature clove and black pepper phenols that define the style. Because this yeast character remains pleasantly restrained, it provides an excellent foundation to let traditional witbier adjuncts—like sweet orange peel and crushed coriander—truly take center stage.
On the technical side, BW-20 intentionally leaves a fraction of maltotriose unfermented, which translates to a richer, more satisfying body and mouthfeel in your finished beer. You can also expect medium, clump-free sedimentation that rouses beautifully, creating the classic powdery haze that looks absolutely perfect in the glass.
Key Characteristics:
Ideal Styles: Belgian Witbier and traditional wheat beers
Flavor Profile: Subtle fruit, distinct clove, and mild pepper
Mouthfeel: Enhanced body (due to residual maltotriose)
Appearance: Pours with a traditional, stable powdery haze

To upgrade your brew system, and make your life easier, thread these QD’s on your kettle, mash-tun, pump and chiller! When used with the male QD, they seal up very well in either flow direction. They will save you time and prevent messes. Just get several silicone hoses of various lengths and put barbed male fittings on either end. Then use them wherever you need to in your system! They are so much easier to use than pushing and pulling the hoses off of barbs. It makes things interchangeable for cleaning, and provides quick installation and removal.
MoreBeer! designed the original stainless QD's for the brewing industry over 10 years ago. The same manufacturer has been machining them for us ever since. The design has certainly been copied but not with consistent quality. That is why MoreBeer! Stainless QD fittings have a near unanimous 5 star review.
Please Note: This product will NOT work with our Brass or Plastic Quick Disconnects.
This will work with any of our H503 and H507 series of quick disconnects. These feature a 1/2" Female National Pipe Thread on the end for easy connectivity to almost anything. The quick disconnect will hold pressure for typical brewing applications when moving liquids at 60 psi or less. 1/2" ID. Gasket temperature range is -40° to 250° F. Open port, does not have shut-off.
WLP004 is from one of the oldest stout-producing breweries in the world and shines in malty British styles like stout, porter, and brown ale Finishes dry and promotes roasty notes PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! From one of the oldest stout producing breweries in the world. It produces a slight hint of diacetyl, balanced by a light fruitiness and slight dry crispness. Great for Irish Ales, Stouts, Porters, Browns, Reds and a very interesting Pale Ale. To ferment this yeast properly pitch at 65°F and let it rise to 67-68F. This strain can be used in all ales because of its clean crisp character it produces. Irish ale can also be used to help finish a beer's stuck fermentation. PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Attenuation: 69-74% Flocculation: Medium to High Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 65-68°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast. Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Do android brewers dream of electric hops? Hopefully we never have to find out, lest some dystopian future forces intrepid homebrewers to rise up against their robo-brewer overlords to spark a new (human) craft beer revolution. Terpene Dream will take you Offworld and back to experience flavors that some people wouldn't believe. Our take on the subgenre of India Pale Ale referred to as Dank IPA, this beer emphasizes the close genetic relation that hops and cannabis share. The hops selected for this beer contribute to an overall "dank" character that is full of pine, earthy, and resinous notes. A delicious bitterness, high alcohol content, and sturdy malt backbone all perfectly balance the assertive hop flavor. Time to brew.

Dual purpose hops popularly used in American styles including Pale Ales and West Coast IPAs
Aroma Profile: Floral, Lemon, Orange, Tropical, Woody
Alpha Acids: 15.0 – 22.0%
Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets
Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets
Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter
Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer!
Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil.
Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material.
Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier.
Typical Hop Statistics:
Alpha Acids: 15.0 – 22.0%
Beta Acids: 6.0 – 9.0%
Total Oil: 2.0 – 6.0%

This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Firestone Walker Brewing Company Light in body and color, but strong in hop flavor and aroma Includes Fuggles, Chinook, Cascade, and Centennial hops Estimated ABV: 4.5% Estimated IBUs: 13 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Fact: Firestone Walker has been named "Mid-Size Brewery of the Year" four times. Another fact: Pale 31 has won 10 Gold Medals since 2003 (yeah, that's one a year!). The Pale 31 California Pale Ale is what some refer to as "The Perfect American Pale Ale". Light in body and color, but strong in hop flavor and aroma, this is one of those beers that most beer lovers will always want on tap. After having one, you'll most likely want another, and being under 5% ABV makes this a little more possible! The recipe consists of our ultralight liquid malt extract, Munich malt, and dextrin for added mouthfeel. The hops are a perfect blend of Fuggles, Chinook, Cascade and Centennial. Firestone Walker's head brewer Matt Brynildson had worked on his Pale Ale recipe for a long time before being perfectly satisfied. We know that once you taste this beer, you'll agree with us that his hard work has definitely paid off! Don't forget to purchase The Brewing Network's "The Perfect American Pale Ale" DVD too! Serve beverages at different pressures without the need for multiple CO2 cylinders, dual body regulators, or expensive gas manifolds
Feed a single pressure to the gas board from your regulator and then step down the pressure on each Duotight regulator
Use one line for serving ales, another for soda or seltzer water, and another for carbonating a freshly filled keg
All parts shown are included and snap together quickly thanks to Duotight push-to-connect fittings and rigid plastic joiners
Duotight In-Line Regulators feature built-in pressure gauges that read 0-60 PSI and can be swapped out for different ranges if desired
The Duotight Draft Regulator Board is a simple and cost-effective solution to serving beer and other beverages on draft at different pressures. With a standard CO2 tank and CO2 regulator, you can feed gas at a single pressure into the regulator board and then fine tune individual pressure settings for each gas line via the Duotight In-Line Regulators. These regulators feature built-in pressure gauges that make adjustments super simple and check valves are included as standard so you never have to worry about back flow into the regulator. This kit includes everything you need to assemble your regulator board and can be customized so the gas inlet is on the right or left side—whichever makes the most sense for your home draft setup. Duotight push-to-connect fittings and the precut rigid joiners make assembly a breeze and only takes 10-15 minutes!
The draft board kit comes in two options—with or without shut off valves. These valves offer peace of mind and allow you to shut off gas flow to any line that is not in use. If you ensure that your system has no leaks, they aren't technically needed, and you can always fully tighten your Duotight Regulator adjustment knob for added protection. But that little extra security might help you sleep easier at night! One advantage of choosing no check valves, however, is that it will leave room at the top of the board to label your gas lines.
One of the coolest features of the Duotight In-Line Regulator is that the included pressure gauge can be swapped out for different pressure ranges. The standard gauge reads 0-60 PSI, but if you have one line that will always be used for serving Ales, you can swap to a 0-15 PSI gauge that will be a little easier to read and make precise adjustments. There's also a Digital Pressure Gauge available that provides backlit instant reads and is rated from 0-90 PSI.
Need more than 4 gas lines? Check out the 6-Way Duotight Draft Regulator Board.
Please Note: Full assembly required. The gas board, regulators, and fittings will arrive loose. Please see our instructions and assembly video below.
Stepping Down Pressure
The ideal regulation scenario occurs when the inline regulator steps down the output pressure to at least 10 PSI less than the inlet pressure. For example, if the inlet pressure is 30 PSI, the regulator effectively manages a range from 0–20 PSI on the output side ensuring optimal performance and stability.
Ideal regulation scenario (10 PSI less than inlet pressure)
Example of 30 PSI inlet translating to 0–20 PSI output
Kit Includes:
4-Output Gas Board
(4) Duotight In-Line Regulators
(4) Duotight Check Valves
(4) Duotight Shut Off Valves (if selected above)
(3) Duotight Tees
(1) Duotight Elbow
(15) Rigid Plastic Joiners
NOTE: All Duotight fittings and rigid plastic joiners come as 8mm OD. Mounting hardware is included for the regulators but not for mounting the board itself to a wall or the inside of your kegerator/keezer. If you select the option without shutoff valves, you will be left with some spare joiners after assembly.
The MoreBeer! kegerator conversion kit ships free to the lower 48 states! Convert any refrigerator large enough to hold a keg into a kegerator with our easy to install kit. We include a simple, but what we think is necessary, upgrade a high quality stainless drip tray to eliminate messy drips from hitting your floor. The whole kit is simple to install with the included instructions.
Kit includes:
New Aluminum 5 lb CO2 tank
High quality dual gauge regulator
Beer faucet, knob and shank
Beer line & connectors
Gas line & connectors
Stainless steel drip tray
Sanke keg valve tap
Instructions.
CO2 tank is required by law to be shipped empty. You will need to find a local source, such as a welding supply, to fill your CO2 tank.
Note About Freezer Installations:
If you plan to mount on a freezer you need to see where the coolant lines are located insite the wall so you don't damage during installation. Plug the unit in with the lid open and you will see the lines form condensation on the inside. (... drill a hold where there are no lines!)

Life is too short to drink bad beer! Beer flavor gets funky when your tap, line and faucet are filled with beer stone--a left over gift from pints long since poured. You do NOT want to share that with your friends!
Ideally you want to clean your lines after every keg, but at the very least cleaning them a few times a year (we like quarterly) will keep your brew pouring fresh and your friends asking for more! Our Draft Cleaning Kit comes with a 1 qt hand pump that pushes Beer Line Cleaner (4 oz size included) through your whole draft system. The faucet gets removed and cleaned with the included faucet wrench and brush. Perfect for cleaning home kegerators as well.

Bourbon Belle takes the beautifully complex flavor of Brunch Stout and adds a charming southern drawl. Similar to "All Out", this recipe combines a variety of dark malts, cacao nibs, and ground coffee for a remarakably rich flavor profile, and then adds a little giddy-up with an addition of bourbon-soaked oak chips. The oak chips are added to simulate the barrel-aging process used for making Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout®, or "KBS". You wouldn't expect a foal to win the Triple-Crown, so practice patience when brewing Bourbon Belle. We recommend a conditioning period of 2 to 6 months to allow this beer to fully mature before entering the race.
Please note: this recipe calls for 2 oz of Kona and Sumatra coffee grounds and 1 cup of Kentucky Bourbon, which are not included in the kit.

We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: 2-Row, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Ever wanted to know what your favorite hop really is? Brew a few of these different Single Hop Experiment recipes to find out!

An ideal quick disconnect option for mobile draft dispensing! No fussing with adapters, adding multiple points of failure. Simply attach your draft faucet! Pairs perfectly with the NukaTap Flow Control faucet so you can adjust beverage flow when you're on the go When you're serving beer out in the wild, it's best to keep things simple. This ball lock quick disconnect does just that by allowing you to connect your beer faucet directly without the need for a separate adapter. Leave the draft line and picnic tap at home and pour beer directly from your ball lock keg! Compatible with NukaTap, Intertap and standard beer faucets. We highly recommend the NukaTap Flow Control faucet for use with this ball lock QD. Being able to dial in the flow on a portable draft setup can be a huge advantage and means less fussing with the gas pressure. As the FC model uses the hard plastic flow control shuttle to form a seal, it's best to use a collar pin wrench to firmly tighten the connection. For a little extra insurance, pair the faucet with the Self-Closing Spring to keep the tap closed when not in use. KegLand Part Number: KL22859

Phil created this recipe in an effort to stop his long, slow spiral into fruity, phenolic, sour beers that began to populate his fermenters and kegs back in 1998. Honestly, Phil seriously contemplated throwing gummy bears into his brew and realized it was time to step back, look around, sober up, and grab a classic West Coast pale ale.
This beer is dominated by the wonderful Amarillo® hop that is known for having a citrus/orange flavor. The Left Coast Pale has been brewed many times over as a house favorite during the Fermentation Frenzy shop era (Los Altos, CA circa 1997-2007). Try it, you'll like it. And, unfortunately, so will your friends.
Phil recommends for an even more pronounced hop nose and flavor you add an additional 1oz of Amarillo® hops to the fermenter as a dry hop addition (not included with kit).

Oak Chips are a fast and economical way to add oak barrel flavor to any beer.
Oak Chips are made from seasoned American and French Oak staves which are chipped down and convection-toasted to create flavors similar to what a comparably toasted barrel would impart. The available toast levels are Medium, Medium +, and Heavy.
It's important to understand that each toasting level creates different flavors in the oak; not a greater intensity of impact in your beer. Don't think of them as weak, normal & strong; they're each a different flavor profile.
Heavy Toast French Oak chips will impart strong flavors of Clove, Spice, Smoke & Butterscotch; along with a small amount of Vanilla & Coconut flavor.
Because of the high surface area, oak chips can extract quickly and care should be taken not to overdo it. Taste your beer frequently after the first week of contact and be ready to rack off the oak chips.
Suggested Dosage is 1-2 oz per 5 gallons.

Belgian ales are really about creating a simple yet elegant malt base upon which the unique Belgian yeast strains can create their wonderful, complex flavors. This Belgian Ale is their equivalent of our pale ale in alcoholic strength and body. The difference is that the hops are very subdued and only complimentary where as in many American beers hops can create a majority of the flavor profile. One is not better than the other just different, and we love diversity in beer.
Terms used to describe Belgian Ales include phenolic, fruity, with the occasional clove, plum, and banana flavors coming through. Sometimes you just have to try one to understand. In the Dubble and Triple you will have some higher alcohol flavors coming through. This version is less alcoholic and highly drinkable.
Any of the four Belgian yeast strains that we carry from Whitelabs could be used in any of the Belgian recipes. They are all excellent in their own right. The malt extract for this kit is made entirely from our German Pilsner Malt, giving it authentic European flavor. We use turbinado sugar to help up the alcohol and dry out the beer during fermentation.

WLP005 is a popular choice for malty English beers, especially those using traditional malts like Marris Otter, Golden Promise, or floor malted barley Known to push bready, grainy malt flavors and produce mild esters PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! Like most English strains, this yeast produces malty beers. We get a velvety mouth feel on the palate and a hint of cherries and rose petals in the aroma. With the great attenuation this strain provides you can ferment almost any ale. We've used this in a strong scotch and the outcome was phenomenal. To ferment this yeast properly pitch at 64-66°F and let it rise to 66-68°F. Ferment for 10-14 days in the primary. Excellent for all English style ales including bitter, pale ale, porter, and brown ale. Attenuation: 67-74% Flocculation: High Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 65-70°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.

Hard Seltzer Flash Brewing® Kit
Flash Seltzer is a simplified system for producing clean, low-calorie hard seltzer with a strong focus on clean fermentation and minimal off-flavors. Sugar-based fermentations lack the natural nutrients found in beer and wine. This kit pairs Flash Yeast with CellarScience Dynamo 800, a nutrient formulated specifically for seltzer fermentation.
Dynamo 800 supplies the nitrogen yeast need to ferment efficiently in sugar-only environments, supporting a clean-fermenting process that helps minimize the risk of sulfur, fusel alcohols, and other off-flavors. Fermentation can finish in as few as 5 days.
Flash Brewing® Kits
Introducing MoreBeer!'s Flash Brewing® Kits! Designed for both novice and seasoned homebrewers, these innovative recipe kits allow you to simply mix the ingredients with water and add yeast for fermentation. This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.
Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor. Flash Yeast™ starts quickly and consistently produces clean beer that lets the malt and hops shine. The result is a high-quality beer that will absolutely surprise you.
If you want to read more about the development of Flash Brewing® at MoreBeer! or have more questions please read our Frequently Asked Questions.
Equipment Required for Flash Brewing®
Flash Brews can be fermented in any wide mouth 6 or 7-gallon fermenter you already own. We suggest a wide mouth fermenter so you can easily pour in the ingredients. The 7-gallon Fermonster fermenter is a perfect choice. If you are new to brewing and need a fermentation kit, see below.
