Kiwi Kiss Hazy IPA | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract
Celebrating the wonderfully tropical hops of New Zealand. A clean-drinking, highly aromatic Hazy IPA Includes Wai-iti, Wakatu, Waimea, Motueka, and Nelson hops Estimated ABV: 6.6% Estimated IBUs: 27 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer If you're in love with Southern Hemisphere hops as much as we are, you're going to fall head over heels for this Hazy IPA. Kiwi Kiss is our ode to the many delicious hop varietals that hail from New Zealand. Hops were first planted on the north and south islands by British settlers in the mid-1800s, but it wasn't until the early 21st-century that NZ-grown hops really exploded in popularity. As beer drinkers began flocking to more tropical, citrus-forward interpretations of IPA, brewers began to recognize the potential for the hops exporting from kiwi country. Today, New Zealand hops are widely sought after for their highly aromatic quality and delicious array of fresh flavors. Kiwi Kiss is a clean, lightly-colored, Hazy IPA with a moderate alcohol level. Wai-iti, Wakatu, and Waimea make multiple appearances throughout the hop bill, with Motueka and Nelson added during the double dry hopping. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.062-67 SRM (Color Range): 4-5 IBUs: 27 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 6.6% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”. For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All included steeping grains will come milled. Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME) MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

The Ron Mexico Single Hop Experiment | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain
Our Single Hop Experiment series is the perfect way to learn the characteristics of individual hop varietals Includes a small bittering addition of Magnum and three 2 oz additions of your chosen hop for late boil and at dry hopping Estimated ABV: 5% Estimated IBUs: 35 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: 2-Row, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Ever wanted to know what your favorite hop really is? Brew a few of these different Single Hop Experiment recipes to find out! Estimated Original Gravity:1.049-54 SRM (Color Range): 7-8 IBU's: 35 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 5% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”. For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All grains will come milled, unless you select unmilled base malts.

CellarScience® NECTAR Dry Yeast | Specialty Ale | Premium Beer Yeast
NECTAR is a unique yeast strain recommended for fruit-forward Pale Ales and IPAs Emphasizes fresh malt flavor while contributing fruit, citrus, and floral flavors Designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no pre-oxygenation before pitching required Ferment between 63-72°F CellarScience offers high-quality yeast that is easy to use, consistent, and available at a tremendous value A fun, unique yeast with a UK pedigree that emphasizes fresh malt flavor while producing fruity, citrus and floral flavors. Perfect for Pale Ales and IPA's. Like all CellarScience yeast, NECTAR is eligible for direct pitch straight into your wort. CellarScience provides 12g of yeast per sachet, which is up to 9% more than any other brand of dry yeast. Every batch of yeast is PCR tested to ensure quality. NECTAR has been selling to pro breweries for awhile but was just recently packaged down to sachets for homebrewers. Dosage: One sachet is enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2–3 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly. Direct Pitch or Rehydrate: NECTAR yeast is designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no oxygenation required in the initial fermentation. Our aerobic growth process makes this possible by creating dry yeast with high viability and high sterol levels. NECTAR yeast is pre-loaded with essential nutrients to ensure a successful, complete fermentation. While not required, some brewers prefer to rehydrate yeast. To hydrate yeast, first, sanitize the yeast brick and scissors. Use 10 grams of sterilized tap water between 85-95°F (29-35°C) mixed with 0.25 grams of FermStart per gram of yeast. Sprinkle yeast on the water. Allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 20 minutes, then swirl. Use small amounts of wort to adjust to within 10°F (6°C) of wort temperature before pitching. Ferment between 63-72°F (18-22°C). Optimum Fermentation Temp: 63-72°F Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 12% ABV Similar Strains: N/A Attenuation: 75-80% Gluten-free CellarScience Yeast: For years liquid yeast has been sold as the higher quality option but times are changing. Yes, 20 years ago dry yeast was made by bread yeast producers and the quality was not as good as liquid yeast. CellarScience is helping to flip that script with a full lineup of high-quality dry yeasts. Cell count and viability is usually higher than commercial liquid yeast pitches, which vary from pouch to pouch and don't ship well. CellarScience yeast can be pitched directly in most batches of wort, offering significant time savings. Yeast that is quick and easy to use, high quality, and available at a reasonable cost adds up to a tremendous value. Quality yeast that doesn't "break the brink". CellarScience Nutrients: For high gravity ferments consider rehydrating yeast with CellarScience FermStart yeast hydration nutrient. For high gravity or low nutrient wort, feed your fermentation with CellarScience FermFed DAP Free complex yeast nutrient mix.

EVABarrier Double Wall Draft Tubing - 6.3 mm ID x 9.5 mm OD
If you're looking for a high-quality draft tubing to take your system into the 21st century, EVABarrier is the clear choice. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss and microbial growth. Plus, it's BPA and PVC free! EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now you can rig up your home system with the same first-class tubing. The 6.3 mm (1/4") ID size is recommended to be used as gas line or long draw beverage lines. If you intend to use it as beverage line, we recommend using 20-25 ft. per line for adequate flow resistance. Outer Barrier The outer barrier is made from EVA material and provides a decent stiffness to the tubing while still remaining pliable. This not only makes EVABarrier extremely kink resistant, it also makes it the best tubing to be used with Duotight, John Guest, and other push-in fittings. Inner Barrier The inner barrier is made from a proprietary polymer that acts as an excellent gas barrier. You can rest assured that your beer will be better protected from oxygen exposure, as well as CO2 loss. Your beer will stay fresher for longer and not loose carbonation like with other draft line. With other beverage line, you may notice that beer sitting in the line for an extended period will start to taste flat and/or oxidized. EVA Barrier tubing is unquestionably better in this regard and you will notice a significantly improved freshness of your beer, especially if it's been sitting in the lines for a while. Due to the high density and smooth nature of the EVABarrier inner wall, the internal surface of the tubing is remarkably smooth and almost completely impermeable. This makes it difficult for bacteria and other microbes to attach to the inside surface of the tubing. Just another way EVABarrier is looking out for you and your beer! Direct Connect to Ball Lock Kegs This tubing works seamlessly with Duotight Gas In and Bev Out Ball Lock QDs which allow you to connect your draft lines directly to your ball lock homebrew keg. Be sure to select the correct size QD fittings that correspond to your tubing's outer diameter (OD). Specifications: Inner Diameter - 6.3 mm (1/4") Outer Diameter - 9.5 mm (3/8") PVC, BPA , and Plasticizer Free* Stiff outer wall is kink resistant and easy to use with Duotight fittings Smooth inner wall prevents oxidation, CO2 loss and microbial growth build-up *EVABarrier does not contain plasticizers, or phthalates, that are used to make PVC flexible. These plasticizers are known to leach out into the beer over time and have adverse health effects. Kegland Part number: KL06248

Belgian Ale | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract
Belgian Ale will give you a full roundup of phenolic, fruity, clove, plum, and banana flavors Includes Perle and Saaz hops Estimated ABV: 5% Estimated IBUs: 32 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Belgian ales are really about creating a simple yet elegant malt base upon which the unique Belgian yeast strains can create their wonderful, complex flavors. This Belgian Ale is their equivalent of our pale ale in alcoholic strength and body. The difference is that the hops are very subdued and only complimentary where as in many American beers hops can create a majority of the flavor profile. One is not better than the other just different, and we love diversity in beer. Terms used to describe Belgian Ales include phenolic, fruity, with the occasional clove, plum, and banana flavors coming through. Sometimes you just have to try one to understand. In the Dubble and Triple you will have some higher alcohol flavors coming through. This version is less alcoholic and highly drinkable. Any of the four Belgian yeast strains that we carry from Whitelabs could be used in any of the Belgian recipes. They are all excellent in their own right. The malt extract for this kit is made entirely from our German Pilsner Malt, giving it authentic European flavor. We use turbinado sugar to help up the alcohol and dry out the beer during fermentation. The extract version of this kit does NOT include grains. Most of the flavor from this beer is derived from the yeast and fermentation. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.049-53 SRM (Color Range): 4 IBUs: 32 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 5% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. KOMOS® Deluxe Kegerator | Stainless Steel Exterior | Fan Cooled Stainless Tower | Digital Thermostat | Casters | Regulator | Fits 1 Half Barrel Keg or 4 Corny Kegs
Due to high demand, some of these items are currently out of stock but available for pre-order. Please check status notes below when selecting a size option to see if it is In Stock or tagged as PreBook. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory. What makes KOMOS Kegerators better than the rest? Designed to hold up to FOUR 5-gallon ball lock corny kegs (see below for full list of what fits) Serve ice cold beer even in the warmest environments thanks to highly-efficient refrigeration components Stainless steel forward-sealing faucets offer a huge upgrade over common chrome plated brass taps Choose from the classic stainless model faucet or the upgraded stainless flow control model Faucets mount to a high-quality stainless steel tower, rather than a cheap chrome plated tower Interior fan diverts cold air up into the tower to keep your beer lines cold and reduce foaming EVABarrier double walled draft tubing protects your beer against oxidation Duotight push-to-connect fittings make assembly a breeze Included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator maintains consistent pressure and is easily adjusted The KOMOS® Deluxe Kegerator model features an eye-catching stainless steel exterior and upgraded stainless steel drip tray The KOMOS Kegerator offers a stunning set of features that clearly separate this unit as the most modern kegerator on the market. With more interior space than other models, the KOMOS Kegerator is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo kegs or Pepsi-style Ball Lock Corny kegs. Whether you choose the single, double, triple, or quad tap configuration, you'll receive stainless steel forward-sealing faucets in either classic or flow control model. Stainless faucets are a huge upgrade over the chrome-plated brass faucets commonly included with other kegerators, and you'll quickly recognize the quality of a forward-sealing beer faucet compared to the standard taps seen at your local tavern or in-law's mancave. Rather than a chrome plated tower, the NukaTap faucets are mounted to a stainless steel tower that remains cool before, during, and after each pour thanks to a tower fan diverter that recirculates cold air within the kegerator and blows it up into the tower to keep your beer lines cold and reduce foaming. From keg to faucet, your beer will pass through EVABarrier draft lines, a premium double-walled tubing designed to protect against beer oxidation. And with Duotight push-to-connect fittings, you'll have your lines connected in a snap with no need to force the tubing over barb fittings or fiddle with hose clamps. Other features you'll love about the KOMOS Kegerator include its highly-efficient cooling capacity so you'll be serving ice cold beer even in the warmest temperatures, extra wide temperature range from 26–82°F, dual gas inlets at the back, aluminum internal floor, rolling casters, and the included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 regulator. The most eye-catching difference between the KOMOS unit and other kegerators is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that comes with a quadruple tap tower option, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. KOMOS positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. This seemingly small detail allows the unit to hold up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs. Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. Both inlets are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE13) as a quick connect option for your gas lines. Upgraded condenser, evaporator, and insulation make this unit highly efficient, yet quiet, so you can serve ice cold beer in even the warmest temperatures. The unique internal fan provides excellent air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the tower to chill your draft lines. Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. Although the unit does not provide heating, the extended range allows you to program the internal temperature at say an ale fermentation temp of 68°F and will provide cooling whenever the temp rises above that set point. With the insulation provided by the kegerator, heating should rarely be needed, but you can always place a low wattage heat wrap inside the unit if ever needed. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice. Forward-sealing Stainless Faucets and Towers All KOMOS kegerators come with NukaTap stainless steel forward-sealing faucets and a stainless steel draft tower. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Most other kegerators on the market will only include the cheapest, standard chrome-plated beer faucets that you'd find at any dive bar. KOMOS kegerators include not only a faucet that features superior pour technology, but made from stainless steel which won't corrode over years of use. Choose from the classic forward-sealing faucet model or the upgraded flow control model that allows you to dial in the flow rate of the beverage you're dispensing. The flow control faucet is a great option for users that often switch between beer styles with different carbonation levels. No need to rebalance your lines or play with your regulator settings. Instantly make adjustments as you pour to dial in the flow rate. This is also a super convenient feature for when you want to grab a quick growler on your way out. By dialing back the flow rate, you can gently fill your growler so CO2 stays in solution and your beer doesn't pour flat when it comes time to share. Click here to learn more about the Classic and Flow Control faucet models. Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our kegerators come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each kegerator comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks, regulator, and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line. EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing. KOMOS Regulator The included high-quality KOMOS CO2 regulator maintains consistent pressure and features a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and to relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Many kegerator brands will include the cheapest regulator they can find, and while these regulators may work OK out of the box, they will eventually show signs of pressure creep which can lead to foamy beer and other issues with your draft system. Rather than have you rely on a regulator that is "just OK", KOMOS kegerators include their own premium dual gauge regulator with highly accurate precision diaphragm and heavy-duty steel gauges. Included with your kegerator package is a Duotight fitting that attaches to the regulator for an easy, solid, push-to-connect connection with your gas line. Added Features One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China. The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. They'll often overflow the reservoir inside the kegerator causing a huge mess. Our kegerator's tray is designed to be removed and easily washed. Best Value & Backed by MoreBeer! We've looked around, and when you factor in fast and free shipping, you are getting the very best value on a kegerator in the USA. Plus, you're getting MoreBeer! service if something happens in shipment. We double box the unit with foam pads and have very little shipping damage. However, it will be delivered via Fed-Ex ground so damage is possible. If your unit arrives damaged just call us up and we will work with you to take care of it. Auto shut off and low power demand. Approx. 300 hours of continuous use. Care and Use pH meters usually start performing poorly because of problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction. Sensing bulb The glass bulb loses sensitivity with use and will eventually fail. This is true of all pH probes. Reference junction The reference junction is a small hole that allows the meter to compare the sample to a reference. The reading is generated based on the electrical difference between the sample and reference. If the junction hole gets clogged, the pH electrode will no longer function. You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways. Cleaning and Storage All pH sensors have a limited life and response time gets longer with age. Properly maintaining your pH pen tester will give you fast, accurate results for longer. So, be sure to order the Milwaukee pH Maintenance Kit code PH-Main at checkout time! This will be needed to help clean and condition the pH electrode before use! Storage The pH probe needs to be kept hydrated. Long periods of dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry out may also result in the junction hole getting clogged. Store the pH probe in storage solution MA9015. Only use tap water short-term if MA9015 is not immediately available and NEVER store in distilled Water (DI) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe. The best way to store the probe is with the probe's cap filled with storage solution or calibration buffer and the cap tightened to prevent leakage. It is also recommended that to store the electrode upright to further reduce the potential for leakage. Cleaning Residue from the sample can impact the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and clog the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in cleaning solution MA9016 for about 20 minutes. Calibration The pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time so make sure that you are calibrating regularly to keep your PRO Plus pH meter accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage. For BEST value, order the PH-START Kit. This has the MA9004 (230 mL bottle of 4.01 calibration Solution), MA9007 (230 mL bottle of 7.01 calibration Solution), MA9015 (230 mL bottle of Storage Solution), MA9016 (230 mL bottle of Cleaning Solution) all in one kit.

Cascade | Cryo Hops®
Dual purpose hops popularly used in American styles including Pale Ales and West Coast IPAs Aroma Profile: Floral, Grapefruit, Grassy, Herbal, Pine Alpha Acids: 11.0 – 18.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer! Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil. Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material. Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier. Typical Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 11.0 – 18.0% Beta Acids: 11.0 – 17.0% Total Oil: 1.5 – 4.0% Cryo Hops® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

BrewZilla Heat Exchanger Dish | HED | Gen 4 | 35L
Reduce heating time during your mash with the Gen 4 BrewZilla Redistribute recirculating wort for longer heating element exposure Improve heat distribution throughout the mash Speed up heating times with the Heat Exchanger Dish (HED) for Gen 4 BrewZillas. This optional upgrade accessory redirects the flow of wort so that it spends more time exposed to the heating elements before reaching the center drain at the bottom of the kettle and being recirculated. Due to the concave bottom and central draining hole on the Gen 4 BrewZilla, recirculating wort will pass through the malt pipe and then down through the boiler false bottom following the path of least resistance. This can cause wort to make a B-line for the drainage hole and reduce the wort's exposure to the unit's heating elements. With the HED installed, wort will be directed to the edge of the BrewZilla base and pass over the elements for a longer period and reduce the time needed to heat to your set temperature. For use with the Gen 4 35L BrewZilla. It is not compatible with any previous generations of BrewZillas or DigiBoils. The HED has been pressed into a slight concave shape to match the curvature of the boiler false bottom. Includes a longer eye bolt assembly than the one included with the false bottom. NOTE: The order of bolt to washer to nuts goes as follows. Eye bolt, washer, false bottom, washer, nut, HED, then wing nut. This is so that the eye bolt does not come completely removed when and if you clean underneath the Heat Exchanger Dish. KegLand Part Number: KL29353

0.5 Micron Diffusion Stone | Stainless Air Stone for Oxygenation or Carbonation | 1/4" Barb
Application-Specific Pore Sizes: Available in 0.5-micron for rapid force carbonation or 2-micron for yeast aeration and wine macro-oxygenation. Two Connection Options: Choose a standard 1/4" barb for direct tubing or a 1/4" MFL thread for quick detachment and easy sanitization in boiling water. Multi-Gas Versatility: Efficiently diffuses CO2, oxygen, or nitrogen for varied brewing and winemaking processes. Diffusion stones are highly porous stainless steel components used to efficiently dissolve gases into liquids. In brewing, they are primarily used to force-carbonate kegged beer quickly and consistently, or to aerate wort with oxygen prior to fermentation to ensure healthy yeast growth. In winemaking, these stones are utilized for macro-oxygenation during fermentation—which can help soften tannins and emphasize fruit characteristics—as well as for degassing finished wine with nitrogen. Micron Size Choosing between a 0.5-micron and 2-micron stone depends on your specific process. The 0.5-micron stone produces extremely fine bubbles that maximize surface area for rapid gas absorption, making it the standard choice for force-carbonating beer. The 2-micron stone handles a slightly higher gas flow, making it the preferred choice for aerating wort or must (using either compressed oxygen or a high-PSI aeration pump) and for macro-oxygenation in wine. Connection Diffusion stones are available with either a standard 1/4" barb or a 1/4" male flare (MFL) thread. The barb provides a secure, traditional friction fit for 1/4" ID tubing, while the threaded flare connection allows you to easily detach the stone from your gas line so it can be dropped directly into boiling water for quick sanitization. To Sanitize To properly sanitize your stones, we recommend you run it in a sanitized solution for 5 minutes. If the stone becomes clogged we recommend boiling the stone for 1-3 minutes to help break down anything within it. You do not want to touch the stainless stone portion with your hands. The oils on your fingers can actually clog the small pores in the stone. Specs: 0.5 micron 1/4" barb* Made from stainless steel *Please Note: The barb is slightly oversized at 7mm (0.27").

Biere de Garde | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Liquid Malt Extract
Highly drinkable, malt-forward beer with a slight toasty nose from Munich malt Includes Northern Brewer hops Estimated ABV: 8% Estimated IBUs: 19-22 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer The "Original Gatoraid", Bière de Garde was said to give the French and Belgian farmer a much needed boost of energy during the day, due to the low alcohol and relatively high residual sugar content. Our version has a bit more malt than tradition dictates, but we think you will find this beer highly drinkable. The malt is the focus of this style of beer, with a slight toasty nose from the Munich. A yeasty character is not uncommon, and is achieved by an extended period of contact with the yeast bed – some commercial breweries go for up to six weeks! This should be fermented at 64°F. Plastic PET Carboy - 5 Gallon
Your days of lugging heavy glass carboys around are over thanks to these plastic carboys! Our Plastic Carboys are made from 100% Virgin PET plastic, which is far more resistant to oxygen than regular plastic. They’re much lighter and safer than glass, which is good if you need to move your fermenter around the house to find the right temperature. Full carboys can be heavy and hard to maneuver and glass can break resulting in possible injury. In addition to being safer to handle, they’re more economical than glass as well. With no ribs on the sides, there’s no place for yeast and sediment to collect, making cleaning a breeze. We suggest cleaning them with an overnight PBW soak, shake, rinse, and sanitize. You’ll want to avoid vigorous scrubbing during cleaning to avoid scratches. Two special features we love about our PET Carboys are the punted base and extra head space. The punted base makes the carboy easier to hold while carrying or pouring, and prevents sediment disturbance during transfers. The extra head space is a huge plus to make sure you have enough room for when your fermentation gets going. Specifications: Uses a #10 stopper or a 5 Gallon Carboy Hood. BrewBuilt® SlingBlade Electric Heating Element (240V)
The BrewBuilt SlingBlade is an innovative electric heating element designed to promote a rolling boil and even heat distribution. Shaped for Performance and Convenience The SlingBlade's unique crescent-shaped design positions all of the heating power on one side of the kettle, sending thermal energy upward to the surface that then cascades downward on the opposite side of the kettle. This movement creates a dynamic turbulence that evenly distributes heat while creating a vigorous, rolling boil. Other heating elements stick right out into the middle of the kettle or use a full circle design that rings the kettle wall. This can cause an obstruction for immersion chillers or make it difficult to stir without banging into the element. The SlingBlade was designed to avoid these issues. By remaining on one side of the kettle, the element will be out of the way of your immersion chiller, and since the element follows the curvature of the kettle wall, it won't interfere with the flow of wort during whirlpool. Ultra-Low Watt Density An electric element transfers power to your wort by applying heat, but if this heat is too concentrated you will get local heating that is hotter than 212°F. This catalyzes Maillard Reactions, which can lead to darker beer than intended and produce unwanted caramelization. Think of these reactions like roasting a marshmallow. First it gets a light brown, we call this Maillard reactions, a little hotter and it gets a dark brown, we call this caramelization, then it turns black and we call this pyrolysis (burnt or scorched). While all kettles undergo these reactions, an electric element can concentrate more heat into a small area, which can quickly scorch your wort. Our experience is that at 90-watts per square inch recipes need to be modified to account for the element and light beers never come out quite right. The SlingBlade element was designed at 50-watts per square inch to reduce the chance of scorching while still providing a vigorous boil. For even lower watt density, consider the Boil Vigor Controller. Tri-Clamp Connection The SlingBlade installs quickly and easily on any kettle with a T.C. ferrule thanks to the curved, non-circular design. This also makes it a breeze to remove the element for cleaning between uses. The SlingBlade heating elements were designed to fit perfectly with BrewBuilt brewing kettles, but you may find them suitable for other kettles as well. They should be used with T.C. ferrules no longer than 1" in length. For dimensions and recommended minimum kettle diameter, please see the chart below. The Centennial Single Hop Experiment | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract
This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: Ultralight malt extract, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions.

California Zinfandel Wine Making Kit - VineCo Signature Series™
Californian Zinfandel will never be found out of place; enjoy its tasteful flexibility that can adapt to any scenario Whether with a cheese board or a thick cut of ribeye, this wine is the perfect companion Flavors of strawberry jam, ripe berries, allspice, and mocha Full-bodied and dry, 14% ABV Whip up a batch in 30 mins or less! Yields 6 gallons (2 cases) of finished wine in 6-8 weeks Premium kit includes grape skins for an authentic wine making experience Bottle labels included for a professional finish There may be no grape in the world that goes by as many different names. Tribidrag in the Dalmatia region of Croatia. Primitivo in the heel of Italy’s boot, Apulia. Or simply, Zinfandel, as it is known in California where you will find most of the world’s plantings. And as befitting for a grape with so many known aliases, Zinfandel is something of a shapeshifter, employed to make wines ranging from hearty, rustic red wines to light, sweet rosés and countless variations in between. Known as one of the “founder varieties”, it can be traced as far back as 6000 BCE where it was first domesticated in the Caucasus region between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. Today, it is the second most widely grown grape in California, where Zinfandel vines can be found that are well over a hundred years old and still thriving. These grapes produce a soft textured, dry red wine that is packed with flavors and aromas of jammy fruit and berry. Our California Zinfandel is smooth and full bodied with a light oak character. Aromatic with flavors of strawberry jam and ripe berries, with notes of allspice and mocha on the finish. A dry red wine with a robust alcohol content of 14% by volume. The Signature Series™ Zinfandel is one of the most satisfying kits to make thanks to the inclusion of grape skins. You’ll mirror the professional vintner process of “punching the cap”, which makes your winemaking adventure even more hands on. VineCo’s jammy skin packs are much more expressive than dried grape skins, imparting more character from the grapes and boosting tannin structure in the finished wine. High quality American oak cubes are used in the production of the California Zinfandel kit. One of the reasons oak has always been used to age wine is the slow release of delicious, complex compounds that complement the wines flavor. Oak cubes have more depth of flavor than chips or powder and slowly release compounds like furfural (sweet, caramel like), lignins (vanillin, spice, smoke), and lactones (classic oak flavor). Wyeast Yeast Nutrient - 1.5 oz
Use this yeast nutrient as your "secret weapon" when your yeast starts to lag or you just want to ensure a vigorous ferment! Supplementing with yeast nutrients reduces lag time and give the yeast a boost during sluggish or stuck fermentations. Wyeast Yeast Nutrient gives your yeast a great start during propagation and provides the nutrients needed to maintain a healthy, active ferment: a blend of vitamins, minerals, inorganic & organic nitrogen, zinc, phosphates, and other trace elements that will benefit yeast growth and complete fermentation. To use, simply dissolve in warm water and add the solution to your kettle 10-15 minutes before the end of the boil. Use ½ tsp (2.2 grams) per 5 gallons (19 liters) of wort. Wyeast Yeast Nutrient will remain stable for 1 year if stored in an airtight container in a cool environment.
