This keg opening tool attaches directly to a 1/2" drive so it can be used with an impact driver or pneumatic rattle gun. This makes fitting and removing keg spears really fast and can save a ton of time when working with a high volume of kegs. Compatible with D-Style and S-Style kegs with threaded spears.
There are two styles of Sanke kegs, those with a threaded-in spear and those that use a retaining ring, or circlip, to hold in the spear. This tool is designed for use with D- or S-Style Sanke kegs with threaded spears. For the more popular (in the USA) D-Style circlip-style Sanke kegs, use tool

Please Note: this tool does not remove the retaining ring. Once the keg has been depressurized, you will have to remove the ring by hand.
