Teflon gasket with 304 stainless mesh screen for 2" tri-clamp connections. Can be used as a filter screen to trap large particulates passing through T.C. fittings. Often used for distillation to retain activated carbon for filtering neutral spirits or used in pot distillation to retain botanicals in the vapor stream.
The screen has a mesh size of 16 which will block particles larger than 1.19mm or 1190 microns. This mesh size makes this screen ideal for use in a filer setup with activated carbon.

BSP vs. BSPP
BSP (or BSPT) fittings have a tapered thread and require teflon tape to form a seal between the male and female fitting. BSP fittings are generally intended to be used with their counterpart of the same thread type. ONLY 1/2" BSP fittings are compatible with US-standard NPT fittings of the same size. BSPP fittings, on the other hand, have a straight thread, require a gasket seated inside the female fitting to form a seal, and are not compatible with NPT.

This is our preferred tubing for use in Barrel Topping Systems. Because of its high elasticity this tubing is easy to attach to/detach from barbed fittings without having to cut the tubing to remove it or use hose clamps to install it (in low pressure applications). This feature allows the user to disassemble the tubing set used to deliver the top-up wine for both sanitation as well as cleaning after use. If you want to use the absolute best style of valve available to homebrewers, the butterfly valve is the clear choice. Brewers love butterfly valves because they are far and away the most sanitary option. Regular ball valves can trap small amounts of wort inside them, which inevitably leads to an infection that can sour your beer. Securely bung your full-size barrels with this locking bung. Great for tight bunging barrels while rolling them on their side, moving barrels from location to location, or simply for peace of mind that this bung will not accidently get knocked out of place.
A stainless plate embedded in the silicone causes the bung to expand outward when tightened. This creates considerable pressure against the bung opening, ensuring a super solid seal. Use a crescent wrench or 1/2" driver to tighten the nut on top of the bung.
Bottom of bung measures 1.5" and the top of the bung measures 2.5".
