Chrome plated brass shank comes with a back nut, plastic collar, and a welded 3/16" nipple. This beer shank is a popular choice for building your own custom draft system. Typically installed in the door of a refrigerator or the wooden collar of a converted chest freezer.
The shank’s listed size refers to the total length of threaded pipe. Approximately 1-1/8” are needed to account for the thickness of the finishing collar on the front and the space for the locknut on the back. Please take this into account when sizing the shank for your project.
Installation Note: On a fridge there are generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. You should be able to see the lines form condensation on the inside of the freezer where there are lines running. Please still use caution when drilling.

Commercial quality compressor keeps beer cold in the warmest situations.
The KOMOS Outdoor Kegerator with stainless NukaTap faucets offers the best value in the USA for an all-stainless steel outdoor rated kegerator. And we mean all stainless! Other models advertised as stainless kegerators often only have stainless exteriors and a painted interior. Similar to only working out your pecs and never your core—looks great, but doesn't really make you that strong. We've sold kegerators for 20 years, and if you're buying an outdoor stainless kegerator, you will definitely want a stainless interior. The interior is where the moisture happens, and where kegerators are most prone to rust over time. Kegerators with stainless interiors are considerably more expensive, and other units with a stainless interior and exterior sport a minimum $2,000 price tag. With an all-stainless interior and exterior, the KOMOS unit is built to operate at a level other kegerators simply can't reach, and offered at price that can't be beat.
In addition to the all-stainless design, the KOMOS Kegerator offers a list of unique features that put it a cut above the rest. Front venting means this unit is perfect as build-in option under your counter. Highly-efficient refrigeration components allow the kegerator to operate quietly while serving ice cold beer in the warmest environments. Stainless faucets are a huge upgrade over the chrome-plated brass faucets commonly included with other kegerators, and you'll quickly recognize the quality of a forward-sealing beer faucet compared to the standard taps seen at your local tavern or in-law's mancave. Heavy duty casters come standard for maximum mobility, and front facing ventilation makes it ideal for using as a built-in kegerator in an outdoor kitchen. Quick and easy assembly thanks to push-to-connect Duotight fittings and EVABarrier draft tubing. Stainless steel tower with cooling fan. Extra wide temperature control range from 28–86°F. And the included Taprite Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator maintains consistent pressure and is easily adjusted.
Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers
The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. The extended range digital controller that can be set the temperature anywhere between 28 - 76°F. This allows homebrewers to use it for fermentation and is something that other kegerators don't do. Although the unit does not provide heating, the extended range allows you to program the internal temperature at say an ale fermentation temp of 68°F and will provide cooling whenever the temp rises above that set point. With the insulation provided by the kegerator, heating should rarely be needed, but you can always place a low wattage heat wrap inside the unit if ever needed. The digital controller is located inside the unit, keeping the outside looking super clean.
Stainless NukaTap Faucets and Towers
All KOMOS kegerators come with NukaTap stainless steel forward-sealing faucets and a stainless steel draft tower. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Most other kegerators on the market will only include the cheapest, standard chrome-plated beer faucets that you'd find at any dive bar. KOMOS kegerators include not only a faucet that features superior pour technology, but made from stainless steel which won't corrode over years of use.
Choose from the classic forward-sealing faucet model or the upgraded flow control model that allows you to dial in the flow rate of the beverage you're dispensing. The flow control faucet is a great option for users that often switch between beer styles with different carbonation levels. No need to rebalance your lines or play with your regulator settings. Instantly make adjustments as you pour to dial in the flow rate. This is also a super convenient feature for when you want to grab a quick growler on your way out. By dialing back the flow rate, you can gently fill your growler so CO2 stays in solution and your beer doesn't pour flat when it comes time to share. Click here to learn more about the Classic and Flow Control faucet models.
Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing
Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our kegerators come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each kegerator comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks, regulator, and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.
EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing.
KOMOS Regulator
The included high-quality KOMOS CO2 regulator maintains consistent pressure and features a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and to relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Many kegerator brands will include the cheapest regulator they can find, and while these regulators may work OK out of the box, they will eventually show signs of pressure creep which can lead to foamy beer and other issues with your draft system. Rather than have you rely on a regulator that is "just OK", KOMOS kegerators include their own premium dual gauge regulator with highly accurate precision diaphragm and heavy-duty steel gauges. Included with your kegerator package is a Duotight fitting that attaches to the regulator for an easy, solid, push-to-connect connection with your gas line.
Best Choice for Outdoors
With its stainless steel construction and powerful compressor this Komos Kegerator is the best choice for outdoor kitchens, bbq islands, or poolside placements. The forward-facing vents at the bottom of the kegerator allow this unit to be installed under counter without having to leave 2-3 inches on each side of the kegerators as is required with some other models. The model also features more power than the standard residential version and can stand up to ambient temperatures up to 104°F. You will want to place your kegerator in a position to be protected from rain.
If you plan to install the kegerator under a countertop, the top cover will need to be removed and you will need to install the Build-In Door Hinge, as the top door hinge is removed with the cover.
Easy to Clean
The stainless steel countertop drip tray looks great and couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. They'll often overflow the reservoir inside the kegerator causing a huge mess. Our kegerator's tray is designed to be removed and easily washed.
Best Value & Backed by MoreBeer!
We've looked around and you are getting the very best value on an all stainless steel kegerator in the USA. Plus you're getting MoreBeer! service if something happens in shipment. We double box the unit with foam pads and have very little shipping damage. In the rare and unfortunate scencario your unit arrives damaged just call us up and we will work with you to take care of it.

Stainless steel joiner fitting for joining multiple lengths of tubing. Recommended for 3/8" ID tubing. The barbs are slightly oversized at 10 mm (0.39") which will give you a tighter fit when using 3/8" ID tubing.

The KOMOS stainless S-Style coupler is built for European brand kegs including Heineken, Newcastle, Pilsner Urquell, and Stella Artois. Featuring stainless steel body and stainless steel probe, this keg tap is made to last. The coupler comes without fittings so it can be adapted however you sees fit. When assembling, insert the rubber "duck bill" check valve into the side gas-in port. The check ball and ball retainer are placed in the top beverage-out port.
Both gas-in and bev-out ports come bare so you can fit it out exactly how you want it. Maybe you like a larger gas line and smaller beer line—no problem. Or perhaps you're ready to take your draft system into the 21st century with EVABarrier draft tubing and Duotight push-to-connect fittings. Whatever floats your boat, keep your draft setup anchored with the KOMOS keg coupler.
The Green corny keg-style PRV is rated to 4.5 BAR (65 psi). It can be swapped out with PRVs with a higher or lower pressure rating if desired. Always check the pressure rating of your keg before swapping PRVs.
Shutoff check valves can be used in multiple gas applications. Commonly added to CO2 regulators or manifolds to protect your equipment from back flow. 1/4" NPT check valve with 1/4" barb. Use with 3/16" or 1/4" ID gas line.
Over time the internal diaphragm can wear out and result in drifting pressure or a slow leak through the regulator body. Replacing the diaphragm is usually the best path to the fixing these issues so your regulator can return to holding consistent pressures. Compatible with both the single and dual-body KOMOS regulators.
Stainless steel joiner fitting for joining multiple lengths of tubing. Recommended for 3/8" to 1/2" ID tubing. The barbs are slightly oversized at 13 mm (0.51").

This handy tool is inserted into the bottom of your keg coupler to lift the ball check valve, allowing you to flush cleaning solution through from the tap without needing to disassemble the keg coupler. A simple solution to save you time while cleaning draft lines.

The KOMOS Deluxe Kegerator model boasts the same features as the standard model with an eye-catching stainless steel extrerior and upgraded stainless steel drip tray. The interior is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon ball lock kegs at one time. This unit represents an amazing value in home draft dispensing. It features a digital controller, stainless door and exterior, aluminum floor, rolling casters, robust KOMOS CO2 regulator, and more. This version does not include a tower kit. Great as a fermenation refrigerator or as a unit that can be built-in when adequate ventilation is an option. Approximately 4" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air. The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter. This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter.
The most eye-catching difference between this unit and the previous model is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that can fit up to four 5-gallon homebrew kegs at one time, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. The KOMOS kegerator positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. This seemingly small detail allows the unit to hold up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs.
Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. The previous model had one inlet that was only wide enough for a single line to pass through. Now both inlets are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE133) as a quick connect option for your gas lines.
Improvements to the condenser, evaporator, and insulation means the KOMOS kegerator is more efficient than ever before. It also features a redesigned internal fan for improved air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the tower to chill your draft lines.
Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers
The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice.
Added Features
One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China.
The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean.

Sometimes a single draft tower isn't enough for your dream home bar or kegerator. If you're building out a draft system that will have more than four faucets, we highly recommend the KOMOS Double T Bar Draft Tower. Available in 6-tap and 8-tap models, these towers provide ample room for your faucets and will give your draft setup a much cleaner look than having multiple single-column towers. Perfect for upgrading an existing KOMOS Double-Wide Kegerator with two individual towers or designing your own home bar or kegerator.
Mounting hardware, tower collars and gaskets included. The tower does not include faucets, shanks, tap handles, or draft tubing.

To assemble the tower, remove the dust caps on either side and remove the foam insulation. Start with the inner most shank hole on either side and work your way outward. We recommend installing each shank and attaching the draft tubing before moving on to the next shank hole. The top section of the tower is 5" in diameter, so most people should be able to reach inside to install the shanks by hand or with the help of a draft wrench. When all the shanks have been mounted, reinsert the foam insulation. The tower may come with more insulation than needed and may need to be cut thinner before reinserting.
We recommend using the Double Offset Shank Wrench to help with assembly.
Duotight Compatible Tower Shanks
We highly recommend pairing the draft tower with Intertap Tower Shanks with Duotight Compatible Barb. When it comes to assembly, there's nothing easier than Duotight push-to-connect fittings, and the same goes for whenever you might need to disassemble a line for cleaning. Duotight fittings pair perfectly with EVABarrier draft tubing, our preferred beer & gas tubing that offers superior protection from oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth.
Tower Dimensions: 29.5" L x 5" D x 16" H. The centers of the columns are approximately 16" apart.
Not compatible with the KOMOS Olympus III kegerator.
If you plan to install your KOMOS outdoor kegerator under the counter, you'll need this door hinge and mounting screws. When building the kegerator into your outdoor kitchen or home bar, the top cover must be removed. This will replace the top door hinge that is taken away with the cover.
Standard D-Style keg coupler works with virtually all American-made commercial beer sanke kegs
Durable stainless steel construction ensures longevity and corrosion resistance for both the coupler body and keg probe
Easy pull-style lever handle simplifies keg connection and disconnection for user convenience
Includes 3/8" OD barb for gas inlet
The KOMOS D-Style Keg Coupler is your reliable choice for dispensing standard American sanke kegs. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with a robust, stainless steel construction, including the coupler body and keg probe, ensuring lasting durability and resistance to corrosion. The D-Style beer tap is the most commonly-used keg coupler in the U.S.
The intuitive pull-to-engage lever handle makes connecting and disconnecting a breeze. An included 3/8" OD barb simplifies gas inlet setup, and the built-in pressure relief valve adds a layer of safety. This D-style coupler, the industry standard, is compatible with virtually all American-made commercial draft beer sanke kegs. The upgrade to 304 stainless steel from nickel-plated options provides a significant increase in lifespan, ensuring years of use.
For a complete setup, tail piece, hex nut, and gasket for the beer outlet are sold separately and are available in a variety of sizes and styles.
