You've just finished a keg of your homebrew. Most of us set that keg aside and clean it later when we brew up the next batch. As it sits it gets harder to clean and then we definitely have to disassemble the entire keg to scrub all the parts. Well for years our Metal Shop Manager and lead Product Designer, Darren Schleth, has been using a simple keg cleaner in our R&D brewery to rinse his kegs, while upside down, through the body connects. The keg is instantly rinsed while all the residue is still soft. The keg can then later be soaked with PBW and/or sanitized without having to remove the body connects or poppets. This saves lots of time. As employees at MoreBeer! saw this simple assembly everybody wanted one of their own.
To use: Connect the brass garden hose attachment to a garden hose. Then connect the grey and black quick disconnects to the inlet and outlet body connects on your Ball Lock keg. Remove the lid and turn the keg upside down. Turn on the water. Water risnes through both the inlet and outlet dip tubes completely rinsing the inside of the keg.
Track your beverages stats right on the keg or fermenter. These reusable tags will adhere to any smooth surface and have a white board finish so you can write on them with dry erase markers. Great for keeping notes and following the development of your brew from grain to glass.

Pick up this Flow Control Ball Lock Disconnect and stop banging your head against the wall trying to balance your draft line. We're all after the same thing -- the perfect pour -- but balancing beer lines can be a daunting task. You do the research and crunch the numbers, choose the right inner diameter line, cut it to the ideal length, only to spend your evenings dialing your regulator setting back and forth like a turtle-necked safecracker. This stainless steel flow control disconnect will eliminate the guess work and fast track you to perfectly pouring beer.
Flow control faucets are a popular option but they're inherently flawed due to the point of restriction being at the very end of the beer line. The flow control apparatus inside the faucet causes turbulence, which leads to foaming and carbonation coming out of solution prematurely. Flow control disconnects on the other hand restrict the flow before the beer enters the beer line so the head pressure created by the beer line keeps the carbonation in solution.
Another advantage of FC disconnects is that you don't have to rely on a small inner diameter or long line length to apply flow resistance. In fact, even in the fully open position the disconnect will provide some inherent flow resistance, so you should use a shorter line than the 5-6 ft. length that is typically recommended. This makes the flow control disconnect ideal for dispensing beer on the go where you might have a picnic tap with a short line or a disconnect faucet adapter with no line at all!
Please note: make sure your keg post o-rings are in good condition before using this fitting. If they are overly worn and you are not getting a good seal, replace the post o-ring then re-attach the ball lock fitting.

The body connnects on a keg are the metal posts where the quick disconnects attach too. They should be removed for cleaning and sanitizing before each use. Ball lock kegs can come with either 11/16" body connects or 7/8" body connects. We sell deep sockets for the removal of either one. So if you do not have these sockets at home and want to make sure you can disassemble the kegs you may want to purchase both sockets below. Then you will always be covered as your keg collection grows.

This Mini CO2 regulator uses 74g cartridges for convenient mobile draft dispensing Dial in your ideal serving pressure just as you would with your standard regulator A portable mini-regulator with all the features of a full sized regulator! Perfect for parties and gatherings where you don’t want to haul around a large canister and hoses. A lot of great features packed into a very small package. The regulator has a range of .5-1.5 bars (7-21 psi). This means that, unlike a button-activated CO2 injector that shoots in CO2 at a fixed pressure, the mini-reg allows you precisely dial in pressure and keep it there. It utilizes a disposable 74 gram CO2 cartridge, which is the largest size that can be shipped full. This is a two stage mini-regulator, meaning that it takes the pressure down from 800 psi (cartridge pressure) to a lower pressure and then to your set pressure of around 10 psi. Two stage regulators are the only way to have consistent pressure. One 74 gram cartridge will typically dispense one 5 gallon keg. This is the regulator only. Cartridges and quick disconnect (KEG730) sold separately. Please Note: This product is only eligible for ground shipment in the Contiguous United States. No air shipment or shipment to Hawaii or Alaska.
The mini CO2 regulator does not have an internal check valve. To add a check valve use the regulator with KEG729 or KEG741.

This nifty ball lock post is compatible with both gas and liquid ball lock disconnects. A great way to modify your homebrew kegs so you can daisy chain them together, or hook up your gas line to the bev out dip tube to carbonate your beer faster.
It is important to note that due to dimensional differences between gas and liquid posts, this item will not form as snug a fit as a dedicated post for gas disconnects. We do not recommend this to be used as a dedicated gas post.
