Cool Features
Torpedo Kegs were designed to stack with Ball Lock quick disconnects in place and serving which is a cool feature for some brewers who have vertical space in their refrigerator. We also like the rolled stainless steel handles. They are comfortable to grab and will never come off like some rubber handles can over time. “In” and “Out” is etched near the keg posts for easy identification which is very handy when you are connecting lines in a refrigerator or kegerator and trying not to make a mistake.

Even the most perfectly sealed keg is susceptible to oxygen ingress through the hatch O-ring—yes, even if the keg is under constant pressure with CO2! Even a leak-free, pressurized keg will release CO2 molecules as they pass through the lid O-ring itself, and conversely, Oxygen molecules will permeate through the O-ring and diffuse into the keg when they reach the surface area on the other side. The level of permeability is wide ranging and highly dependent on what material the O-ring is made from. The new Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator from KegLand represents a huge jump forward in the mini regulator market. After much feedback on how to make mini regulators more compact, sturdy and efficient, the brilliant engineers at KegLand have come up with this mini-beast.
The analog gauge is removable and can be swapped out with a gauge of a different pressure range or it can be swapped out for the Digital Mini Pressure Gauge.
Heavy Duty Construction
Starting with the body of the regulator, this unit is made from chrome-plated solid cast brass which means it will stand up to quite a bit of abuse. Unlike most mini regulators, the pressure gauge on the Core 360 is safely recessed in the regulator body, so if you ever drop it there is little chance that you'll damage the gauge. What's more, the gauge is removable, so you can swap it out with another mini gauge with a pressure range that better suits your application.
Unique Cartridge Connection
What really sets this unit apart from other mini regulators is the way in which you insert a CO2 cartridge. A common complaint with these types of regulators is that you can lose a lot of gas from the cartridge just from threading it into the regulator. There's that brief period where the cartridge has been punctured but you haven't fully threaded it into the regulator to form a seal. If you're not quick enough, this can result in a significant amount of lost gas. The Core 360 has a unique design feature where inserting the cartridge is a 2-step process. First you fully thread in the cartridge so it forms a seal before it's opened, and then you screw down the actuator pin to release gas into the regulator. Simple and effective.
Furthermore, the Core 360 Mini Regulator is designed to be compatible with both 16g and 74g cartridges. Out of the box it will be ready to accept 16-gram 3/8"-24 UNF threaded cartridges. But with a simple adapter you can switch to 74-gram 5/8"-18 UNF threaded cartridges.
Interchangeable Gas Outlet
Another feature we haven't seen before on a mini regulator is the interchangeable gas outlet. You can use the swivel nut connection to directly attach the regulator to a flare ball lock disconnect, or you can swap to the 6.5mm Duotight-compatible barb and connect draft tubing. This is a great option if you want to dispense a commercial keg without the need of a ball lock to sanke coupler adapter.
The regulator also has two outlet options at either a 45° or 90° angle which makes this the ideal mini regulator regardless of whether you use plastic or stainless steel ball lock disconnects.
SodaStream Compatible
If you remove the 16g cartridge bushing, you'll find TR21-4 female threads for use with SodaStream gas cylinders. These can be a great option for mobile dispensing as they provide much more gas than a CO2 cartridge and are more easily transported than a full CO2 tank.

If you want an easy way to balance your beer lines, this is the way to do it. One of the benefits of Flow Control disconnects is you don't need to rely on the small ID or line length to apply flow resistance. Rather than adjusting your line length or size, simply apply additional restriction directly on the Quick Disconnect (QD). This is perfect for people who want to serve a large range of beverages with differing carbonation levels without having to customize each line. Please be aware that even in the fully open position these FC disconnects do have some inherent flow resistance so you should use either shorter line or larger ID line that you would when compared with traditional ball lock disconnects.
Flow Control QD vs. Flow Control Faucet
One of the only drawbacks of flow control devices is that they inherently create a small amount of turbulence and therefore can cause foaming. In the past, flow control faucets have been the only common option. Flow control faucets are very popular but due to the fact that they are placed at the very end of the beer line they have no head pressure. As a result, any turbulence created can cause foaming and carbonation to come out of solution.
Flow control ball lock disconnects like these on the other hand have the ability to restrict the flow before the beer enters the beer line so the head pressure created by the beer line keeps the carbonation in solution. Even in the instance that high turbulence is created the beer will be far more resistant to foaming issues. For this reason, flow control ball lock disconnects like these have significantly better performance allowing you the flexibility to adjust line resistance easily but without the introduction of turbulence that creates foaming. It cannot fix over-carbonated beer, but it can reduce the amount of beer line you would need to pour without excessive foaming.

This handy PCO38 Tapping Head assembly is a great way to get into kegging. Using standard homebrew ball lock disconnects, this is a convenient, light weight, robust and inexpensive solution to kegging beer, cocktails, kombucha, wine, and other beverages.
This PCO38 tapping head assembly has been designed to suit standard PCO38 bottle necks such as the 4L or 8L Oxebar Mono PET Keg. KegLand utilizes quality engineering plastics and efficient injection stretch blow mould processes to manufacture economical kegs and tapping heads for both homebrewing and commercial beers. The plastics used in the tapping head can withstand a wide range of chemicals used in the brewing industry and relatively high temperatures (212°F / 100°C).

3/8-24 UNF x TR21-4 adapter ring for the KegLand Core 360 Mini CO2 Regulator. Suitable for 16 g CO2 cartridges. This is a replacement standard ring that is included with the regulator.
Contains the o-rings for the piston, the red inlet washer, MK4 seat assembly o-ring, 2 x barb MFL outlet o-rings and a thumb screw o-ring.

This adapter can be installed on the Core 360 Mini Regulator from Kegland in order to use 74 gram CO2 cartridges. Use a crescent wrench to remove the stock adapter piece for 12 gram cartridges and simply screw in this adapter with 5/8-18 UNF female threading. Switching to 74 g cartridges will allow you dispense 1-4 Cornelius kegs, depending on how it is used and the CO2 consumption required.

This adapter piece enables legacy Torpedo Mini CO2 Regulators (KEG965A) to be compatible with 74g CO2 cartridges that have a small unthreaded gap at the top of the neck—cartridges similar to KEG969.
This piece now comes standard on the updated Torpedo Mini CO2 Regulator and is a direct replacement part for KEG965B.

A portable mini-regulator with all the features of a full sized regulator! Perfect for parties and gatherings where you don’t want to haul around a large canister and hoses. A lot of great features packed into a very small package.
The regulator has a range of .5-1.5 bars (7-21 psi). This means that, unlike a button-activated CO2 injector that shoots in CO2 at a fixed pressure, the mini-reg allows you precisely dial in pressure and keep it there. It utilizes a disposable 74 gram CO2 cartridge, which is the largest size that can be shipped full. This is a two stage mini-regulator, meaning that it takes the pressure down from 800 psi (cartridge pressure) to a lower pressure and then to your set pressure of around 10 psi. Two stage regulators are the only way to have consistent pressure. One 74 gram cartridge will typically dispense one 5 gallon keg.

Here at the shop, many of us plan on using these nitrogen cartridges to push wine out of 5 gallon soda kegs, since the nitrogen does not go into solution. You could also use them in beer situations where you want to push out but not carbonate. Please be aware that the nitrogen will only fill 20% of the space that a 12g CO2 cartridge will because Nitrogen exerts a lower partial pressure than CO2.
Nitrogen has a higher PSI than CO2 so these cartridges will not work with CO2 Mini Regulators.
