Inspired by Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout®, this kit combines our All Out Brunch Stout recipe with an addition of bourbon-soaked oak chips
Includes Nugget and Willamette hops
Estimated ABV: 7.5%
Estimated IBUs: 60
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
Bourbon Belle takes the beautifully complex flavor of Brunch Stout and adds a charming southern drawl. Similar to "All Out", this recipe combines a variety of dark malts, cacao nibs, and ground coffee for a remarakably rich flavor profile, and then adds a little giddy-up with an addition of bourbon-soaked oak chips. The oak chips are added to simulate the barrel-aging process used for making Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout®, or "KBS". You wouldn't expect a foal to win the Triple-Crown, so practice patience when brewing Bourbon Belle. We recommend a conditioning period of 2 to 6 months to allow this beer to fully mature before entering the race.
Please note: this recipe calls for 2 oz of Kona and Sumatra coffee grounds and 1 cup of Kentucky Bourbon, which are not included in the kit.

Our top choice for Seltzers — highly efficient at metabolizing simple sugars with minimal off-flavors (low fusel/sulfur)
Amazing house strain – for neutral-profile ales
VELO delivers – rapid fermentation while maintaining a clean, neutral profile
Doesn’t require temperature control - Loves to ferment Hot
Ferment between 60-94°F
Designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no pre-oxygenation before pitching required
Amazing as a House Strain
VELO is a high-performance ale yeast selected for speed, flavor neutrality, and wide temperature tolerance. In internal sensory comparisons, VELO’s ester suppression and clean finish exceeded CellarScience CALI, while offering faster kinetics and a wide operating range that, within reason, can substantially reduce the need for temperature control. We’ve found it to be a dependable house strain across styles, especially for hop-forward ales. delivering clean results quickly while staying remarkably forgiving across real-world fermentation conditions
Why It Works in Seltzers
For hard seltzer production, VELO excels thanks to highly efficient metabolism of simple sugars (“mono- and disaccharides”) with low fusel and sulfur byproducts when supported by a complete nutrient regimen. When developing our Seltzer nutrient Dynamo 800 we tried many yeasts and Velo was consistently the best. From there we tweaked the formulation specifically for Velo with over 60 fermentations. Across broader sensory feedback beyond internal bench work, VELO consistently presented as noticeably cleaner than several common industry benchmarks, delivering a true neutral, blank-canvas base that stays out of the way of your seltzer flavor additions.
Lagers Fermented at Warmer Temperatures (Sometimes called pseudo-lagers)
VELO excels in this role by delivering a clean, lager-like profile at ale fermentation temperatures. Its wide operating range (60–94°F / 16–34°C), fast kinetics, and low ester/phenol expression let you run lager-style recipes in the mid-60s to low-70s °F without temperature control. When you ferment under pressure (up to 12 PSI), you can push these lager-like beers toward the upper end of VELO’s range right up to 94°F while still maintaining a neutral, crisp finish. High attenuation and medium–high flocculation help the beer finish dry and drop clear quickly, making VELO an amazing house strain for clean, lager-like beers on an ale timeline.
Technical Attributes
Neutral & Clean: Ester/phenol expression held very low; as clean or cleaner than CellarScience CALI in sensory comparisons.
Fast Fermentation: Wraps primary quickly, reducing tank residency and tightening production schedules.
Wide Temp Range: Performs cleanly from 60–94 °F (16–34 °C) with minimal off-flavors—useful where tight temperature control isn’t feasible.
Pressure-Ready: Stable up to 12 PSI, ideal for closed or spunded ferments.
Hop-Smart: Preserves hop brightness in modern IPAs while remaining tidy in low-IBU and malt-forward beers.
High Attenuation: ~75–83 % for a dry, polished finish; alcohol tolerance up to 10 % ABV with full nutrient support.
Medium–High Flocculation: Drops bright post-fermentation while staying in suspension long enough to finish cleanly.
Thermotolerant Physiology: Robust stress response (e.g., trehalose storage) supports clean performance at elevated temperatures.
Specifications:
Fermentation Temperature: 60–94°F (16–34°C)
Apparent Attenuation: ~75–83 %
Alcohol Tolerance: up to 10 % ABV (with complete nutrient regimen)
Flocculation: Medium–High
Pressure Tolerance: up to 12 PSI
Format: 15 g high-cell-count sachet (≈ 36 % more than standard 11 g)
Direct Pitch: No rehydration required
Quality Control: Every batch PCR-verified for purity and consistency
Applications
Clean ales and pseudo-lagers • West Coast/Cali-style IPAs • Pale & session ales • Kölsch-like ferments • Hard seltzers and other sugar-based ferments
Dosage
Homebrew: One 15 g sachet treats 5–6 gal (19–23 L).
Scale-up: Use 2–3 g/gal (0.5–0.8 g/L). When scaling, round up to the next full sachet for consistency.
VELO is the practical house strain for clean results on a tight timeline—neutral like CALI, ferments fast, handles a wide temperature range, and produces a polished finish in beer and seltzer when paired with appropriate nutrients.

If you're hearing ghostly tales whispered around your local homebrew shop, there's no need to pile your brew crew into the hippy van—this one is no mystery. Phantasm Powder has been causing quite a stir on the craft beer scene, and the buzz is well deserved. Adding this powder to your wort and fermenting it with a thiolized yeast strain is one of the easiest ways to boost tropical flavor and aroma in your finished beer. Derived from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Grapes, this powder will add a concentrated dose of thiol precursors. During fermentation, yeast will go to work on these aroma compounds and "free the thiol", boosting the tropical bouquet of your beer to supernatural levels. We're stoked to get this cutting-edge ingredient into the hands of homebrewers so we designed a series of Phantasm recipe kits that will set you up to take full advantage of brewing with Phantasm Powder.
Our Phantasm Hazy Pale Ale features a 50/50 split of New Zealand and Pacific Northwest aroma hop additions that lean into a tropical, citrusy character that will pair perfectly with Phantasm Powder. Since this kit series is all about the thiols, we start with whole cone Cascade in the mash to further increase the thiol precursors. Add the Phantasm Powder at flameout along with your whirlpool / hop stand additions. For maximum effect, we highly recommend choosing a thiolized yeast strain for fermentation which are specifically designed to boost thiol biotransformation.

The MiniMesh is perfect for adding dry hops to your beer! Keep your dry hopping on a precise schedule by adding them to this mesh sleeve inside the PET Carboy, then easily pull them out after the desired contact time. This mesh sleeve is custom made for the Vintage Shop PET Carboy. The plastic ring sits inside the neck of the fermenter with room for a #10 stopper to be inserted for an airtight seal. The ring actually holds onto the neck of the carboy so there's no risk of the mesh sleeve falling into the carboy. Made from food grade materials, the #50 mesh will not affect the flavor of the beer or wine, and is temperature rated to 122°F. Designed for multiple uses, the MiniMesh can be cleaned in the dishwasher and sanitized with the sanitizer of your choice. For FerMonster users, the MiniMesh and MonsterMesh can be used simultaneously. The MonsterMesh will sit on the neck of the carboy, and the MiniMesh can be inserted through the stopper hole in the lid. This way you can have two different infusions starting or stopping at different times.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
Add great fruit flavor and aroma to your beer or kombucha with our natural fruit flavorings. Best if added just prior to bottling. We recommend you start by adding 2 oz per 5 gallon batch and then add more according to your taste. Contains no sugar or haze-causing pectins.

Our Oatmeal Stout is loaded to the brim with malt! A helping of Flaked Oats give this brew a smooth, almost slick, mouthfeel, while three different dark malts—Chocolate, Black Patent, and Roasted Barlery—combine for a very complex roast flavor. A lower bittering rate from a moddest hop addition allows the flavor emphasis to rest squarely on the synergy of maltiness, dark roasted malts, and oat flavor. Oatmeal Stout is one of our most consistently well-reviewed kits and comes highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a dark, roasty beer.

Infusing your wort with pure oxygen immediately before pitching yeast is the best way to get your fermentation started faster and finished cleaner.
This dual gauge oxygen regulator is compatible with standard disposable O2 tanks and provides a higher level of control when pumping oxygen into your wort. Using the adjustment knob, you can dial in the psi of the gas leaving the tank, leading to more consistent results. We recommend oxygenating wort using a 0.5 micron diffusion stone.
Instructions:
Attach the regulator to your oxygen tank
Turn the pressure up to 10-20 psi
Immerse diffusion stone in wort for 1-2 minutes
Please note: your wort must be chilled to yeast pitching temperature before adding oxygen. It is much more difficult for oxygen to dissolve into solution when the wort is still warm.

WLP320 is the strain you want for a more neutral American-style Hefeweizen that has very slight banana and clove notes Low flocculation will still provide the signature cloudy appearance of the hefe style PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! This strain ferments much cleaner than it’s hefeweizen strain counterparts. It produces very slight banana and clove notes and has low flocculation, leaving resulting beers with characteristic cloudiness. Used to produce fairly neutral American Hefeweizens like Widmer. PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Another fact: Pale 31 has won 10 Gold Medals since 2003 (yeah, that's one a year!). The Pale 31 California Pale Ale is what some refer to as "The Perfect American Pale Ale". Light in body and color, but strong in hop flavor and aroma, this is one of those beers that most beer lovers will always want on tap. After having one, you'll most likely want another, and being under 5% ABV makes this a little more possible! The recipe consists of our ultralight liquid malt extract, Munich malt, and dextrin for added mouthfeel. The hops are a perfect blend of Fuggles, Chinook, Cascade and Centennial. Firestone Walker's head brewer Matt Brynildson had worked on his Pale Ale recipe for a long time before being perfectly satisfied. We know that once you taste this beer, you'll agree with us that his hard work has definitely paid off! Don't forget to purchase The Brewing Network's "The Perfect American Pale Ale" DVD too! Matt Brynildson discusses water modification, recipe formulation, and techniques on how to brew Pale 31! To read more, See related product.

MoreBeer!'s Favorite SmartRef Benefits: Only refractometer we know of that has alcohol correction built in. Gives an accurate reading during fermentation when an original reading is taken Only requires the smallest of samples Dual purpose: Can be used in the field to measure sugar content of grapes Costs less than the Anton Paar EasyDens. EasyDens gives accurate readings at any point during fermentation without the need for an original reading. Our Take: The SmartRef is a very smart digital refractometer. Unlike other refractometers on the market, it will automatically correct for alcohol during fermentation (currently only in beer) and give you an accurate reading. In order for the SmartRef to make the required adjustments for alcohol, it is required that you take an original reading before fermentation. This is a key difference from the Anton Paar EasyDens. With the EasyDens you can take a reading at any point during fermentation without the need of an original reading. Does that feature make the EasyDens worth the extra money? That is up to you of course, but sometimes in brewing we forget to take an initial reading on brew day. When used together the SmartRef and EasyDens allow for some very unique measurements like the ability to know the original gravity of a beer even without an original reading. To learn more about using these meters together, See related product. SmartRef Features: Wide measuring range from 0 to 85 °Brix (0 to 62.7 °P) Accuracy of 0.2 °Brix (0.2 °P) Built-in wort and alcohol correction for beer that is fully configurable Quick readings – results in under 2 seconds Automatic temperature compensation (ATC) Small sample volume requirement (0.4 mL) Free iOS/Android app Record and share readings from the ap Use in conjunction with the EasyDens to determine ABV, ABW, OG, FG, & Real Extract in finished beer The SmartRef Digital Refractometer by Anton Paar is a portable smart pocket device suitable for a wide range of requirements. The SmartGuide+, as a feature in the mobile app, automatically checks any errors of ambient light, impurity, and sample behavior during measurement for you. The device offers more than 15 different measurement units with automatic temperature compensation. Depending on your need, SmartRef enables you to measure the extract content of your beer, the sugar content in wine, the sweetness of fruits and vegetables, the moisture of honey, the salt content of your aquarium or pool, and much more. Smart Technology for Consistent Results The SmartRef portable refractometer is used in combination with a free mobile app for Android and iOS via Bluetooth Low Energy and enables intelligent handling of the measurement results. The app permits easy storage, visualization, management, and sharing of measurement data. SmartGuide+ detects and helps eliminate measurement problems through high ambient light detection, continuous checking of prism and sample condition, and more. In addition to the quick measurement mode, measurements in continuous mode allow a more detailed understanding of the samples’ properties. Over-the-air updates keep your digital refractometer up-to-date with the latest features. SmartRef Measurement Details The SmartRef refractometer measures the refractive index of fluids. This allows retrieval of relevant sample properties in a wide variety of applications. Fast temperature stabilization and automatic temperature compensation for measurement results make additional calculations and correction tables obsolete. The unit has an IP6 rating and an easy-to-clean stainless steel sample well. SmartRef supports a one-point zero adjustment with distilled water and requires only a few drops of sample (0.4 mL). SmartRef displays results in under two seconds and has a measurement range of 0 °Brix to 85 °Brix with an accuracy of 0.2 °Brix. High Variety of Measurement Applications Brix refractometer: For wine, juice, honey, sauces, jams, fruits, vegetables, and maple syrup. The SmartRef measures the sugar content in °Brix, °Babo, °Baumé, °KMW, and °Oechsle. Salinity refractometer: SmartRef determines the salt content in your saltwater aquarium and pool in salinity specific gravity (SG 20/20), practical salinity units (PSU), and salinity in parts per thousand (ppt). Beer refractometer: SmartRef shows the extract content of wort in °Plato. Coffee refractometer: Measure total dissolved solids to assess coffee strength and extraction quality. Instantly calculates extraction yield, letting you dial-in strength, acidity, and sweetness for any brew method. Pet Care Meister: Reads urine specific gravity (USG) to help track hydration in cats, dogs, and other large mammals. As a smart device, SmartRef offers a constant expansion of measurement units. Derived from T-90 Nelson Sauvin™ pellet hops to perfectly replicate the aroma profile while omitting undesirable compounds found in hop vegetal matter
Flavor/Aroma: Citrus, Tropical, Fruity
The perfect hop: Using 100% hop-derived terpenes, Abstrax builds exact profiles to match the flavor and aroma of an exemplary lot of Nelson Sauvin™ hops
Consistent results every time. Eliminates the variance of using hops that may differ by age, crop year, storage conditions, growing region, processing method or farm
Replace pellet hops: 5mL is equal to roughly 5.5 oz of pellet hops, while 1 oz of Quantum is equal to 2 lbs of pellet hops
Nelson Sauvin™ Quantum Brite
Named for the Sauvignon Blanc grape, this triploid hop from New Zealand is sophisticated and tropical. Fruity and wine-like, Nelson Sauvin™ adds dimension to any brew with succulent notes of lychee, passionfruit, and citrus.
Optimized Hop Extracts
Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment.
Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around.
Quantum Tastes Better
The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum.
Dosage
Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
No yield loss from absorption
Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll
Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.

G2 model features redesigned flow control mechanism for improved shank sealing and flow control Make instant adjustments to beverage flow as you pour Switch from pouring pints to filling growlers without adjusting your CO2 regulator Reduced first pour foam due to low thermal mass Forward-sealing design prevents beer residue from gumming up the faucet Unique shuttle design greatly improves laminar flow, improving the pour of carbonated beverages Compatible with all Intertap faucet accessories and shanks Generation 2 The NukaTap Flow Control G2 uses a completely new flow control mechanism with better sealing properties against the shank as well as improved flow control. Control the Flow The flow control model is a great option for users that often switch between beer styles with different carbonation levels. No need to rebalance your lines or play with your regulator settings. Instantly make adjustments as you pour to dial in the flow rate. This is also a super convenient feature for when you want to grab a quick growler on your way out. By dialing back the flow rate, you can gently fill your growler so CO2 stays in solution and your beer doesn't pour flat when it comes time to share. The NukaTap Flow Control faucet is also the first FC model to be fully compatible with the optional self-closing spring. First Pour Foam Reduction Every kegerator owner knows the letdown of pouring your first pint of the day and getting too much foam. Even with perfectly balanced draft lines, first pour foam is sometimes unavoidable simply due to the temperature of the faucet itself. Running beer through the faucet will drop the temperature, and the foaming will subside, but not without a bit of wasted beer from pouring off excess head. The NukaTap beer faucet drops to beer serving temperature much faster thanks to its lower thermal mass. Simply put, the bulkier the faucet is, the more beer is needed to flow through and chill the tap. The NukaTap is over 20% lighter than its Intertap predecessor, and even lighter still compared to other brands of faucets. Improved Laminar Flow The inspiration for the NukaTap name comes from its uniquely designed "nuke-shaped" shuttle that resides on the inside of the faucet. The NukaShuttle went through numerous rounds of redesigns and countless hours of testing to find a shape that provides superior laminar flow. This means that liquid passes by the shuttle with very little resistance, allowing highly carbonated beers or hard seltzers to pour like a dream. Sanitary Design The NukaShuttle is the world’s first seamless single-piece design. Traditional taps feature an o-ring seated on a stainless steel shuttle, which can cause a couple of issues. After many pours, the stainless shuttle rubbing against the internal body of the faucet will create small fissures that become potential infection sites, and the seated o-ring can be difficult to clean in place, making your draft cleaning and sanitizing process less effective than you realize. The NukaShuttle is an advanced TPV rubber matrix that has been seamlessly formed over a durable PP skeleton. This single-piece design eliminates the pitfalls of older manufacturing methods, making it one of the most sanitary faucets on the market. Forward Sealing vs. Rear Sealing From tap rooms to home bars, forward-sealing faucets are the ideal choice for any draft setup. In traditional rear-sealing taps, beer will drain out of the entire faucet when it's in the closed position. This means the internal mechanism is coated in beer, which then dries and becomes a sticky residue. Forward-sealing faucets, on the other hand, keep the tap full of beer so it never has a chance to dry and gunk up the internal parts. This makes the faucet much easier to clean and also reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Made from stainless steel Shuttle made from TPV O-rings made from EPDM Kegland Part Number: KL15523
If you're looking for a high-quality draft tubing to take your system into the 21st century, EVABarrier is the clear choice. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss and microbial growth. Plus, it's BPA and PVC free! EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now you can rig up your home system with the same first-class tubing. The 6.3 mm (1/4") ID size is recommended to be used as gas line or long draw beverage lines. If you intend to use it as beverage line, we recommend using 20-25 ft. per line for adequate flow resistance. Outer Barrier The outer barrier is made from EVA material and provides a decent stiffness to the tubing while still remaining pliable. This not only makes EVABarrier extremely kink resistant, it also makes it the best tubing to be used with Duotight, John Guest, and other push-in fittings. Inner Barrier The inner barrier is made from a proprietary polymer that acts as an excellent gas barrier. You can rest assured that your beer will be better protected from oxygen exposure, as well as CO2 loss. Your beer will stay fresher for longer and not loose carbonation like with other draft line. With other beverage line, you may notice that beer sitting in the line for an extended period will start to taste flat and/or oxidized. EVA Barrier tubing is unquestionably better in this regard and you will notice a significantly improved freshness of your beer, especially if it's been sitting in the lines for a while. Due to the high density and smooth nature of the EVABarrier inner wall, the internal surface of the tubing is remarkably smooth and almost completely impermeable. This makes it difficult for bacteria and other microbes to attach to the inside surface of the tubing. Just another way EVABarrier is looking out for you and your beer! Direct Connect to Ball Lock Kegs This tubing works seamlessly with Duotight Gas In and Bev Out Ball Lock QDs which allow you to connect your draft lines directly to your ball lock homebrew keg. Be sure to select the correct size QD fittings that correspond to your tubing's outer diameter (OD). Specifications: Inner Diameter - 6.3 mm (1/4") Outer Diameter - 9.5 mm (3/8") PVC, BPA , and Plasticizer Free* Stiff outer wall is kink resistant and easy to use with Duotight fittings Smooth inner wall prevents oxidation, CO2 loss and microbial growth build-up *EVABarrier does not contain plasticizers, or phthalates, that are used to make PVC flexible. These plasticizers are known to leach out into the beer over time and have adverse health effects. Kegland Part number: KL06248
WLP550 is ideal for many classic Belgian styles including saisons, witbiers, blondes and browns Very expressive strain that produces phenol-forward flavors and aromas reminiscent of clove, allspice and peppercorns PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! WLP550 Belgian ale yeast is a wonderful overall strain for classic Belgian ales. Saisons, Belgian Ales, Belgian Reds, Belgian Browns, and White beers are just a few of the classic Belgian beer styles that can be created with this yeast strain. Phenolic and spicy flavors dominate the profile, with less fruitiness than WLP50. Attenuation: 78-85% Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 10-15% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 68-78°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast. Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Low watt density heating element gently warms your fermenting beer without scorching Keep your fermentation temperature consistent during the colder months or raise the temp on command for diacetyl rests Connect directly to the BrewBuilt X3 Uni Conical via the dedicated 2" tri-clamp port for effective, in-solution heating Smooth, stainless steel construction is easy to clean after use Compatible with all sizes of X3 Uni Conicals Add this Immersion Heater to your BrewBuilt X3 Uni Conical for the ultimate control over your fermentation temperature. Connecting directly to the X3's dedicated 2" T.C. port at the side of the cone, the Immersion Heater will provide gentle, effective heating whenever you need it. A must-have for brewers living in colder climates or if you want the peace of mind that your temperature will never drop too low for your ale or kveik strains regardless of the time of year. Heating your fermenter on command can also come in handy if you need to bring your chilled wort up to temp before pitching, or if you need to perform a diacetyl rest after fermentation is complete. We recommend pairing the Immersion Heater with a temperature controller like the Inkbird so it will only be powered on as needed. If using the heater alongside the IceMaster Max 2 glycol chiller, you can insert the Max 2 temp probe into the X3's thermowell first and then insert the Inkbird's probe behind it. Both probes will be deep enough to get accurate temp readings and heating & cooling will be regulated by independent controllers. Another setup option is using the IceMaster 100 and the BrewBuilt Chiller Pump Kit. The IceMaster 100 does not come with built-in pumps so you can add your own submersible pumps as needed. Each Chiller Pump Kit includes an Inkbird controller and a submersible pump. The heater and pump are then both plugged into the Inkbird so heating & cooling are regulated by a single controller. The element runs at 125 watts when powered with the included IEC x 110V plug adapter (not pictured).
