Used it one time. Worked as expected, It would be 5 stars, but one draw back is the hydrometer sticks the the side and is hard to read.

Not able to collect enough of a sample to float the hydrometer. Picked up a lot of trub when I tried it in my conical, couldn't reach far enough into the carboy (okay, the barleywine in the carboy should be in a 5 gallon instead of a 6.5, but still). Still hope to be able to use as intended.

Functions as it should for both removing a small amount of wine from a carboy to taste or using it to hold a hydrometer. Leaks just a couple drops enroute to a glass but a big improvement over the kitchen baster I was using! I suppose I could wind up breaking it accidentally but for the price, it’s not too painful if that happens.
