Upgrade your FermZilla Conical or All Rounder with the new 2" Tri-Clamp Lid from KegLand. Add yeast, hops or even take samples from a wine thief from the top and not have to remove the entire lid. This particular lid was designed in order to suit a growing number of customers desire to dry hop without exposing the batch to oxygen from opening the lid. By using this lid in conjunction with the FermZilla 2" Butterfly Valve and Hop Bong Kit, you will be able to purge CO2 into the tube and expel all the oxygen inside it and dump freely into the vessel. Features: (2) PCO1881 Male Ports Recommended for use with Red (Gas In) & Yellow (Bev Out) Ball Lock Caps PRV Port with Red 35 psi (2.5 BAR) PRV 2" T.C. Ferrule Undrilled Ports (for optional accessories): Thermowell Port (see below for FermZilla Thermowell kit) (2) Temp Twister Ports Please Note: Temp Twister will need to be bent on a 20° Angle in order to fit on the curved lid and align vertically in the tank. Also includes: 2" Tri-Clamp 2" T.C. Gasket 2" T.C. x PCO1881 Male Thread Cap If you ever need to replace the O-ring attached to the bottom of the Pressure Lid, a Corny Keg Lid O-ring fits perfectly. KegLand Part Number: KL28219 Warning: Always depressurize your system COMPLETELY before removing fittings from your fermenter. Warning: Only use Red 35 psi PRV with this lid. Ensure the PRV is cleaned and dried of sticky residue before each fermentation. Failure to do so could cause injury and void warranty.

The newest wing capper on the market is the Kelly, made by the Ferrari Group in Italy. We love this capper because it is easy to use, has a smooth capping action, a magnet in the capping head to hold crown caps, and solid metal jaws to firmly grasp the bottle. Sized for standard 26 mm crown caps.
Clean up your beer and give it that sparkling clarity you see in commercial brews. Filtering removes yeast and dry-hop sediment, both of which can impart off flavors. It's also a great way to give your beer that extra edge in competition. This two-pack of filter pads are for use with our FIL45 series of plate filters. Polish pads will provide between 1-2 Micron filtration.
If you've been looking to step up from fermenting in plastic buckets or carboys, this is an excellent choice for your next fermenter. Stainless steel is a much better option than glass or plastic, as it is extremely easy to clean and virtually lasts forever. There's also much less chance of contamination as stainless doesn't scratch like plastic. Over time, you'll get scratches in plastic fermenters from normal wear and tear, creating microscopic havens for bacteria. Meanwhile, glass carboys are always at risk of breaking which is something you will never have to worry about with stainless steel. The Bucket Buddy is a great value if you're looking for a stainless steel fermenter with built-in heating control. If you live in a cold climate, ale fermentations may be a seasonal affair, as cold ambient temperatures can easily drive down the temperature of your wort below your yeast's optimal fermentation temp range. The Bucket Buddy offers a simple solution with an integrated heating element and digital temperature control. Program your fermentation temperature and if the temp drops below your set point the unit will gently heat your wort from the bottom up via the concealed element located in the base. For cooling, you can place the fermenter in a dedicated refrigerator or drill into the lid to install a Temp Twister Cooling Coil. A temperature controller probe can then be taped to the side of the fermenter to control your cooling source, or you can drill another spot in the lid for a thermowell. Another advantage over carboys and plastic buckets is the domed base inside the fermenter which is great for yeast flocculation when fermentation is complete. The included racking arm will make it easy to transfer out every last drop of beer while leaving the yeast cake undisturbed. The entire racking arm and ball valve assembly is weldless, which means you can remove the assembly to clean and sanitize it between batches. You can even boil the assembly for added assurance that it's been sterilized. To help maintain a steady temperature and cut down on power consumption, the Bucket Buddy pairs well with either the BrewZilla Neoprene Jacket or the FermZilla Insulating Jacket. This unit comes standard with silicone tubing to transfer from the ball valve to your bottles or cans, as well as a stopper and airlock for the domed lid. Specifications: 304 stainless steel construction 9.25 gallon total capacity Digital temperature control 110V / 36W power Stainless steel outlet valve with rotating racking arm Temperature reads in °F or °C With elements turned off, hold both +/- buttons to switch between °F or °C External Dimensions: 28" H x 15" W (including handles) Internal Dimensions: 22" H x 11.75" W Please note: Heating capacity is highly dependent on ambient temperature and use of insulation. Testing has shown that the Bucket Buddy can heat to 104°F in a room temperature ambient environment without insulation. Adding insulation may increase heating capacity while colder ambient environments may lower heating capacity. KegLand Part Number: KL20695
When you're bottling, you don't want to be caught without spare washers for your swing top bottles. Whether your current washers are old and cracked, or you just can't quite get a perfect seal, these replacement washers will have you covered.

Extra-large food-grade plastic bucket perfect for fermenting wine kits or high krausen beers like Hefeweizen Almost a full 2 gallons larger than standard 6-gallon buckets giving you plenty more room for active fermentations and larger batches of wine or beer The bucket comes solid and does not require a spigot but features pre-molded threads where a spigot can be added if you so choose To add a spigot, you will need to drill out the wall at the back of the spigot hole—we recommend pairing with our Plastic Spigot w/ Adjustable Spout Bucket only without lid or spigot. See here for optional lid or full fermentation kit A 30L (7.9 gal) food-grade plastic bucket. Ideal for all fermentations, but especially ideal for wine kits, beers that tend to have a high krausen (Hefe) and any fermentation that is slightly too large for your 6-gallon pail. These buckets come molded with a threaded hole for a spigot to screw into. Our FE356 spigot threads in perfectly. Why Polypropylene? These buckets are made from polypropylene as it is less porous and significantly smoother than other HDPE fermenters. HDPE is porous and can harbor microbial activity making it more difficult to clean and sanitize. Being less porous, polypropylene also does not absorb aroma like HDPE so there is less flavor carry over from batch to batch. Approximate Dimensions: 15.75" Wide x 16.25" Tall Click here for optional lid (FE357B) or full fermentation kit (FE357). Please note: the spigot hole comes pre-molded into the bucket and needs to be drilled out before installing the spigot. We recommend using a 5/8" drill bit and taking care not to strip the female threads that accept the spigot. The spigot includes a back nut that won't be needed—simply remove the back nut and thread in the spigot with the gasket in between the neck of the spigot and the bucket. The lid forms a very tight seal and requires a decent amount of downward force to lock in place. KegLand Part number: KL0158

A distiller's parrot is a piece of equipment that allows you to take alcohol gravity measurements using an Alcometer continuously throughout your pot or reflux run. It should be placed inline of your distillation outlet so that the drops of distillate fall directly into the tallest collection cone. But it should only placed in-line after you collect your foreshots. Your alcometer is then gently placed into the lower cone. Be careful not to drop in the alcometer before there is any liquid/distillate in the cone, as dropping it into an empty cone could break your glass alcohol meter.

One of the most popular, classic Champagne strains
Low nutrient requrements
The classic Champagne yeast. With a fast fermentation rate, high alcohol tolerance, and low nutritional requirment it is one of the easiest yeasts to ferment. Allows varietal character to shine through while accentuating stone fruit and citrus. Able to ferment under higher pressures. Does not ferment Malic acid so natrually produces fresh wines with crisp acidity. This makes it a classic choice for fruit wines, meads and ciders. Top choice for doing secondary fermenation in the bottle for natural carbonation. One of the most popular yeast strains in the world. Can handle lower fermentation temperatures.
Start Time: Fast
Alcohol tolerance: 15%
Nitrogen Demand: low
Yan Requirement @ 23 Brix: 220 ppm
Production of volatile acidity: Low
Production of SO2: Low
Ease to Ferment with MLF: Good
Yeast type: Bayanus
Killer Factor: Neutral
Optimal Fermentation Temp: 45–90°F
Proper yeast hydration helps ensure a healthy fermentation. For every gram of yeast, mix .25 g of FermStart yeast nutrient with 25 ml of sterilized tap water between 104–106°F/40–41°C. When water reaches 104°F/40°C, sprinkle yeast into water and stir gently. Allow the slurry to stand undisturbed for 15 minutes and then stir again. For every gram of yeast used add 25 ml of clean must to the yeast slurry and let stand 15–20 minutes. If necessary, use additional must to adjust yeast slurry to within 18°F of must temp before pitching. For a complete nutrient schedule sufficient for most fermentations, add 1.5 g of FermFed DAP Free per gallon of must at the first sign of fermentation and 1 g of FermFed per gallon of must after 1/3 sugar depletion.

A classic Porter recipe with a smooth, creamy body and delicious roasty flavor
Includes Northern Brewer and Cascade hops
Estimated ABV: 4.8%
Estimated IBUs: 31-34
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
Chocolate and Black Patent malts are the backbone of this style. Our all-grain version of Porter features munich malt for a little maltiness and carapils for better mouthfeel and head retention. The Northern Brewer hops impart a nice, but not overpowering bitterness. Good first dark beer. However, for many people, this is their favorite style. Just ask Regan who is a Porter nut. All of our Porter recipes are descendants of his designs which date back to the 1980s. You will not find any Roasted Barley in our Porter recipes as we believe this is the defining difference between Stout and Porter. If you would like to see the difference for yourself try making our B3 Stout (in extract) or our Silk Stout in all grain form and then one of our Porters. It is fun to have them on tap at the same time and show people the difference in dark beers.

The Acquamark cork line is a high quality colmated cork. These corks have the ageable lifespan of Natural Cork, but are closer to the price of an agglomerated or overrun cork.
Colmated corks are Natural Corks that were not quite flawless enough to make a grade, but are then filled in with agglomerated pieces, resulting in an ageable, but economical cork.
Dimensions: 45mm x 24mm
Cubes have a longer contact time than traditional chips do, which make them better for long-term aging of wines and beers. Also, longer contact time means longer extraction of flavors (3-6 months), which leads to a more complex combination of flavors. Chips are usually done giving flavor after a week, there by contributing a harsh, flat oak flavor. Our cubes are fires toasted and cut by Stavin, a leading supplier of high-quality oak alternatives to top commercial wineries. Download the PDF

500ml Erlenmeyer flask, 1/2lb light dried malt extract & 1oz Fermaid K (Yeast Nutrient). This starter kit is for growing liquid yeast starters. The idea is that the starter acts as a mini batch of beer where the yeast cells replicate before being pitched into your 5 gallon batch. More yeast means fermentation starts faster. The bacteria and wild yeast that got into your beer during the transfer from kettle to fermenter have less chance of creating a negative flavor impact upon your beer.
(We do not recommend the use of an electric element with these flasks. If this cannot be avoided, we recommend using a larger pot as a hot water bath on the stove.)
In the lab world, these flasks are known as "Student Grade". A great flask for making yeast starters!(Student grade is not the highest grade flasks and will have minor defects)

Accurately measure your starting and finishing gravity in beer or wine
Triple scaled in specific gravity, potential alcohol, and sugar per liter
Color coded scale referenced for beer and wine
Comes with storage case and directions
Made in France
Our basic hydrometer is an essential tool for testing starting and finishing beer gravity, or sugar content, in beer or wine fermentations. Has three scales—specific gravity, potential alcohol, and sugar per liter. 9" long. Comes in storage case with complete, helpful directions.
Scale Ranges:
Specific Gravity: 0.980–1.150
Potential Alcohol: 0–18%
Sugar Per Liter: -60–340
Converting SPL to Brix
One degree Brix is equal to one gram of sugar per 100 mL of solution. Since a liter is equal to 1000 mL, you can calculate the Brix by dividing Sugar Per Liter by 10. Therefore, a must that contains 210 grams of sugar per liter is equal to 21 Brix.
Scrub your beer bottles clean with this bottle-shaped brush. Soak bottles in your preferred cleaning solution, scrub the inside with the bottle washing brush, and rinse.
17.5" long. Bristle section is 12" long.

A magnetic stir plate is a great investment to help improve the quality of your yeast starters. Aeration is an important factor in making a yeast starter, and without a stir plate you'll need to pick up and swirl your starter by hand as often as possible. The stir plate is a simple solution that will continuously aerate your starter, leading to higher numbers of viable yeast.
This compact stir plate works with Erlenmeyer flasks up to 5000mL in size. Depending on the volume of your yeast starter, you can use the adjustment knob to dial in the speed of the stir bar. We recommend using just enough power to keep yeast in suspension, a full vortex isn't really necessary.
Stir bar included.

Not all bi-metal thermometers are created equally, so if you’re looking for one that you don’t have to constantly tap to get an accurate reading, this is the thermometer to choose.
Other bi-metal thermometers have a helical coil in the stem that is tack welded to the stem itself causing hang ups to occur, and you have to tap the thermometer to get an accurate reading. Our new line of thermometers feature a super sensitive bimetallic helical coil suspended from a copper coated bushing fixed in the stem. This superior design provides a faster response to temperature changes and assures more accurate readings.
It's accurate to 1% of the total range, and it features a polished 2" stainless steel housing, hermetically sealed waterproof case and glass face for maximum durability. The unique anti-parallax dial also makes for easy reading.
This dial thermometer should be calibrated at 150 °F. Its temperature range is 0-220 °F (-10 to 100 degrees °C).

This thermometer will be a great addition to your homebrewing setup. The shorter 2.5" probe works great in a boil kettle or hot liquor tank because it’s easier to work around. Keep in mind that some brewers feel this is too short for a mash tun and prefer a longer thermometer which reaches closer to the center of the mash. (See our MT514 for the same thermometer with a 6" probe.)
Thermometer has an easy-to-read 3" Face, and 1/2" MPT threads on the back to connect to your kettle. The metal stem is durable and won’t break like glass can. Our reviewers agree that this is a great thermometer at a great price!

Flash Brewing® KitsIntroducing MoreBeer!'s Flash Brewing® Kits! Designed for both novice and seasoned homebrewers, these innovative recipe kits allow you to simply mix the ingredients with water and add yeast for fermentation. This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.
Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor. Flash Yeast™ starts quickly and consistently produces clean beer that lets the malt and hops shine. The result is a high-quality beer that will absolutely surprise you.
If you want to read more about the development of Flash Brewing® at MoreBeer! or have more questions please read our Frequently Asked Questions.
Equipment Required for Flash Brewing®Flash Brews can be fermented in any wide mouth 6 or 7-gallon fermenter you already own. We suggest a wide mouth fermenter so you can easily pour in the ingredients. The 7-gallon Fermonster fermenter is a perfect choice. This is the replacement gasket that seals the lid onto the body of the plastic Speidel fermenters. This gasket generally does not wear down through normal use and need to be replaced. That being said, everyone seems to manage to find creative ways to use our equipment that results in needing replacement parts!
This gasket fits our 60l(15.9 gal) & 120L (31.7 gal) Speidel Round Plastic Fermenters.

Cleans dozens of bottles quickly! Imagine a system that lets you sanitize bottles 12 at a time, temporarily store them while they drain upside down, and then flush them with inert gas prior to filling. This bottle rinsing base and rack system is your dream come true! The base portion of the system connects to a water supply for rinsing or to your inert gas system for purging/flushing. In our ideal plan you have two bases. One is used for rinsing, the other, sitting right next to it, is used for purging. You can put the rinsing base in a tub that is re-circulating with sanitizing solution (such as: CL27) or just drain to the ground if you are working outside. *Note: Bottle Racks are sold separately. You will need to buy as many racks (CE971) as needed. Each rack holds 12 bottles. Comes with a female garden hose fitting attached to a plastic 1/2" barb fitting on the unit. 12.25" L x 10.75" W x 3" H Max Temp: 167° F (75° C)
A lighter option to traditional Brown Malt, providing biscuity, nutty, and lightly toasted characteristics with less intense dry roast notes
Contributes a pleasing depth to Brown Ales, Milds, Porters, and Amber Lagers
Use at a rate of 5–15% of your grain bill
36–45 °L - Export Brown malt offers brewers a lighter alternative to traditional Brown Malt. Kilned to a color range of 36–45°L, it provides the sought-after biscuity, nutty, and lightly toasted characteristics of Brown Malt, but with a more subdued roast profile and a cleaner finish. In comparison to standard Brown Malt (150–191°L), Export Brown exhibits significantly less acrid bitterness and intense dry roast notes, increasing its versatility across a broader spectrum of beer styles.
Brewers can expect warm cereal notes, delicate coffee, and a kiss of dry cocoa. On the palate, it presents with less assertiveness than darker roasted malts. Export Brown contributes a pleasing depth to Brown Ales, Milds, Porters, and even Amber Lagers when incorporated at a rate of 5–15%, depending on the brewer's desired intensity. This malt proves particularly well-suited when toasty malt complexity is desired without overshadowing darker, more pronounced flavors.
Malt Specification:
Color °L - 36–45
Moisture % - max. 3.5
Extract fine % dm - min. 71.0
Usage Rate - 5–15%

Few materials are more durable or more attractive than stainless steel, which is exactly what sets this Stainless Steel Wort Chiller from MoreBeer! apart from similar chillers. This chiller is made from 50 feet of stainless steel tubing measuring 1/2 inch diameter.
Although stainless steel takes a little longer to cool your worth than comparable copper tubing, its advantage is that it won’t tarnish between uses. Stainless steel is also much more affordable than copper, which makes this an economical choice that won’t sacrifice quality or real-world effectiveness. This stainless steel wort chiller also contains a brass hose adapter for an even more attractive, high quality look and feel.
The Stainless Steel Wort Chiller 50’ x 1/2” from MoreBeer! is made entirely in the U.S.
Note: The inner bend on the coils have small indentations that are a natural result of the winding process used during manufacturing. As an upside, these do actually help turbulate the cooling water to eliminate laminar flow (helps increase the cooling capacity).

Your days of lugging heavy glass carboys around are over thanks to these plastic carboys! Our Plastic Carboys are made from 100% Virgin PET plastic, which is far more resistant to oxygen than regular plastic. They’re much lighter and safer than glass, which is good if you need to move your fermenter around the house to find the right temperature. Full carboys can be heavy and hard to maneuver and glass can break resulting in possible injury. In addition to being safer to handle, they’re more economical than glass as well. With no ribs on the sides, there’s no place for yeast and sediment to collect, making cleaning a breeze. We suggest cleaning them with an overnight PBW soak, shake, rinse, and sanitize. You’ll want to avoid vigorous scrubbing during cleaning to avoid scratches.
Two special features we love about our PET Carboys are the punted base and extra head space. The punted base makes the carboy easier to hold while carrying or pouring, and prevents sediment disturbance during transfers. The extra head space is a huge plus to make sure you have enough room for when your fermentation gets going.

The Black is Beautiful initiative is a collaborative effort amongst the brewing community and craft beer lovers, in an attempt to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face daily. Started by Weathered Souls Brewing Co. in San Antonio, Texas, their mission is to bridge the gap that's been around for ages and provide a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone of any color. They're calling for all breweries and brewers far and wide to raise a glass in unison and participate in this collaboration.
We at MoreBeer! are proud participants in this collaboration and strong believers that homebrewing is for everyone. We humbly invite our customers to contribute to those fighting for justice and equality while brewing delicious beer at the same time. 100% of the proceeds from our clone recipe Black is Beautiful kit are donated to the Michael James Jackson Foundation for Brewing & Distilling, which funds technical education and career advancement for black, indigenous, and people of color in the brewing and distilling industries.

For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.
Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.
Perfect for getting your transfers done fast!
When you're transferring large volumes of liquid, it can be hard to keep from pouring too fast and spilling. The large opening of this 30 cm (12”) funnel makes it even easier to avoid spills than our 21 cm (8.25”) model.
Because this funnel is wider at the top, you will need another person to steady it when you pour wort into a 5, 6, or 6.5 gallon carboy. The funnel bottom fits into the carboy, however the large volume of liquid in the funnel’s cone makes it top heavy and prone to tip over if it’s not supported. If you’re looking for a one person operation you will want the 21 cm (8.25”) model.

The Hop Bong is a versatile pressurizable tri-clamp accessory, capable of not only dry hopping oxygen purged hops into fermenters, but also as an inline carbonation/oxygenation accessory. Load up the Hop Bong, flush it with CO2, purge out oxygen with the handy PRV on top, then simply open the Butterfly Valve to inject your beer with a 6 oz payload of dry hops.
If you're an existing FermZilla Conical or All Rounder user and you already own the Pressure Kit with 2x Ball Lock Caps and floating dip tube, check out the Hop Bong Upgrade Kit.
The 3 Pieces of the Hop Bong Pressure Pack:
Pressure Kit
The Pressure Kit includes two Ball Lock Caps with the Floating Dip Tube and Filter Attachment. These pieces allow you to pressure transfer finished beer out of the fermenter into kegs or a bottling bucket, or you can carbonate and serve beer directly from the FermZilla.
Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid
Replacing the standard lid with the FermZilla Tri-Clamp Pressure Lid provides you with a 2" T.C. port at the top of your fermenter. This will give you an opening to add dry hops or other additions without needing to remove the entire lid. Take off the butterfly valve to add your yeast pitch, and when you're ready to add flavoring additions when fermentation is complete, drop them in oxygen-free via the Hop Bong. PCO1881 threaded ports are there for your Ball Lock Caps, as well as undrilled ports for an optional Thermowell and/or Temp Twister cooling coil.
Hop Bong
Load up the Hop Bong and add CO2 to purge your hop charge of oxygen. This kit comes with a third Ball Lock Cap to introduce CO2 directly to the Hop Bong, as well as a pull ring PRV to release pressure and purge oxygen. Once you've flushed your hop charge with CO2, open the butterfly valve to inject your beer with up to 6 oz of hop pellets.
Hop Pellet Capacity: 150–180g (5.2–6.3 oz)
Kit Includes:
FermZilla 2" T.C. Pressure Lid Starter Kit
2" Hop Bong
2" FermZilla Tri-Conical Butterfly Valve
Floating Dip Tube
Weighted Mesh Filter Attachment (KEG6571)
Red PRV & PCO1881 Cap Combo
Yellow Ball Lock Cap
(2) Red Ball Lock Caps
(2) 2" Tri-Clamps
(2) 2" Silicone T.C. Gaskets
KegLand Part Number: KB10897
Installation Note: For best performance, ensure there is not an excess amount of slack when the silicone dip tube is installed and shorten it if needed. With the floating dip tube installed on your empty FermZilla, you ideally want the dip tube to hang freely with just enough length for the end of the dup tube to touch the bottom of the tank.
Warning: Always depressurize your system COMPLETELY before removing fittings from your fermenter.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
Common juniper is a small evergreen tree that is related to cedar, cypress and other conifers. The mature, dark-colored cones, or berries, are used to lend a slightly citrus and pine-like flavor to foods and beverages. In Northern Europe, juniper berries are used as a spice to season game meats and sauerkraut, as well as beer. The berries are also the key flavoring agent in gin. Available in 1 oz and 16 oz bags.
Coriander is the seed of the herb cilantro. In sharp contrast to the leaf of the latter, coriander seed lends a warm and slightly citrus-like flavor to foods. Use powdered coriander seed in curries, chili, puddings and custards, sauces and baked goods.
