  • Dry Wine Yeast - RC 212 - PLACEHOLDER Dry Wine Yeast - RC 212 - PLACEHOLDER

Lalvin RC 212 | Dry Wine Yeast

    8 reviews

Lalvin RC212 is the premier choice for winemakers looking to produce structured, full-bodied red wines with exceptional color and aromatic depth Whether perfecting a classic Burgundy-style Pinot Noir, crafting a bold Merlot, or refining a smooth Gamay, RC212 consistently delivers elegance, balance, and rich complexity Provides enhanced structure and color in Pinot Noir Lalvin RC212 is a renowned wine yeast strain, originally selected from the Burgundy region of France by the Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne (BIVB). It is specifically chosen for its ability to enhance color stability, tannin structure, and aromatic complexity in red wines, particularly Pinot Noir. RC212 promotes the development of ripe berry, bright fruit, and spicy characteristics, making it ideal for crafting robust, age-worthy red wines. Enhanced Color Stability: RC212 promotes deep anthocyanin extraction and color intensity in red wines, protecting color due to low absorbance rates onto yeast cell walls. Rich Tannin Structure: Supports smooth, well-integrated tannins that age gracefully. Alcohol Tolerance: Effective up to 16% ABV, allowing for complete fermentation in high-sugar musts. Attenuation Rate: Typically achieves 85–90% attenuation, ensuring a full, structured finish. Temperature Range: Performs optimally between 64°F (18°C) and 86°F (30°C), perfect for developing rich, full-bodied reds. Medium Flocculation: Settles well post-fermentation, contributing to clarity and stability. Applications: Pinot Noir: Perfectly suited for Burgundy-style Pinot Noir, enhancing its delicate fruit and silky tannins. Merlot & Cabernet Franc: Boosts structure and body, delivering rich fruit and spice. Gamay: Highlights fresh berry notes while enhancing tannin integration. Blended Reds: Suitable for Bordeaux blends and GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre), bringing forward lush fruit and balance. Flavor Profile: Dark Fruits: Prominent expressions of black cherry, plum, and raspberry. Spice & Earthiness: Subtle hints of cinnamon, clove, and forest floor. Silky Mouthfeel: Enhances the smoothness and roundness of the palate. Aging Potential: Promotes tannin development for wines that improve with time. Usage: Rehydration: Rehydrate in 10 times its weight of chlorine-free water at 95°F (35°C) for 15–20 minutes. Stir gently to prevent clumping. Pitch Rate: Use 1–1.5 grams per gallon (0.25–0.4 grams per liter) for optimal fermentation and color development. Nutrient Addition: Supplement with yeast nutrient to optimize fermentation strength, particularly in high-Brix musts. Fermentation Temperature: Maintain between 64°F and 86°F to optimize color extraction and tannin structure. Extended Maceration: Ideal for long maceration periods to deepen color and enhance tannin complexity. Download the PDF Download the PDF

  • FermZilla All Rounder Fermenter - 60L FermZilla All Rounder Fermenter - 60L

    FermZilla All Rounder Fermenter | 15.9 gal. | 60 L

    7 reviews

The lowest price Pressurizable fermentor out there. Perfect for most ales that ferment in 2 weeks or less Super smooth PET makes cleaning very easy Transfer to your keg closed and under pressure oxygen free PET is better oxygen barrier than fermentors made of HDPE Super lightweight yet strong and shatterproof The FermZilla All Rounder is the most affordable pressurizable fermenter on the market. Although it doesn't feature a dump valve like the FermZilla Conical, the All Rounder carries the same pressure rating, making it an absolute steal if you're looking to ferment under pressure, perform pressure transfers, or want to carbonate and serve directly from the fermenter. The All Rounder is made from super smooth PET that's easy to clean, and the simple design means no nooks or crannies for microbes to hide. With a 4.75" lid opening, you'll have no trouble getting your arm inside to scrub away stubborn krausen rings. As with all FermZilla fermenters, the lid features molded drill locations that make installing accessories like a thermowell or Temp Twister Cooling Coil a breeze. In order to unlock the full potential of the All Rounder, you'll want to pick up the 55L FermZilla Pressure Kit. The pressure kit is available with either stainless or plastic ball lock caps. Why MoreBeer! loves the All Rounder FermZilla: Super smooth PET makes cleaning very easy. Pressure rated lid and PET material make for a better oxygen barrier than fermenters made of HDPE. Lightweight and easy to move around, yet strong enough to be considered shatterproof. The 4.75" lid opening makes it easy to get your arm inside and clean after use. The lid is designed for the easy installation of accessories such as a thermowell or cooling coil. Price! A pressurizable fermenter in this price range is an incredible value, and it opens the door for many cold-side processes that can't be done in a normal carboy or plastic fermenter. What's Included: FermZilla 60L All Rounder Fermenter Stainless Steel Stand Stainless Steel Handle Top Lid with PRV (35 psi) 3-Piece Airlock Adhesive Thermometer Specs: 60 L (15.9 gal) Total Volume Pressure Rated to 2.5 Bar (36.2 psi) Height in Stand - 34" Height w/ Airlock - 36.5" Tank Diameter - 13.9" Lid Ports - 28 mm PCO 1881 threads Temperature Rating: When not under pressure, do not expose to liquids above 131°F When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F* *Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years. Kegland Part number: KL15196   NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. Hydro test instructions are available here. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary. Brown Moose Ale | Big Sky Moose Drool® Brown Ale Clone | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract

This is MoreBeer!'s take on the popular brown ale from Big Sky Brewing. Combining 3 different steeping grains, our Brown Moose recipe is full of flavor! The chocolate malt, caramel 60L, and midnight wheat give this beer a nice light brown color and a taste that is light on the palate. Malt , caramel, chocolate, and coffee are just a few of the flavors you'll enjoy in this complex ale. If you like brown ales that leave you wanting more, but don't knock you off your feet, then this is the perfect recipe for you! Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.041-1.048 SRM: 18-21 IBUs: 47-49 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 4-5%   Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”.  For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All included steeping grains will come milled.   Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME) MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

The Fermonster is the perfect vessel for your first batch, and the 7 gallon capacity means you won't have to upgrade down the road when you want to brew beer styles that foam a lot during fermentation. Several of the most popular upgrades for new homebrewers include a larger kettle, a larger fermenter, and a wort chiller. With this kit you can check off those boxes on Day 1! Last but not least, this system features the 5 gallon Torpedo Keg, an all stainless ball lock keg with a commercial style. These kegs are stackable and feature rolled handles that make transport a breeze. The Fermonster Fermenter - A Huge Upgrade Over Standard Buckets or Glass "Carboy" Water Bottles Unlike buckets or glass carboys, the Fermonster fermenter was designed for brewing beer. It is made from tough, clear, virgin grade PET plastic so you can see the magic of fermentation. Unlike glass it will never break and shatter if dropped. It represents a huge upgrade over traditional buckets because these fermenters are much less likely to get scratched. Scratches can hold bacteria that can cause off flavors in the beer. The Fermonster comes with a built-in spigot that eliminates a long time issue in homebrewing of having to start a siphon to transfer your beer to the bottling bucket after fermentation is over. The large 4" lid allows for easily adding yeast, hops, or other additions. We also really love the molded-in level markers that tell you exactly when you have reached your desired volume. We Don't Skimp on Cleaning and Sanitizing Proper cleaning and sanitizing is one of the core tenants of making great beer. Some starter kits utilize an all-in-one cleaner/sanitizer that does neither job well. We’ve included the best-selling sanitizer for brewing, Star San. We also include Craftmeister oxygen-based cleaning tablets that make cleaning your Fermonster Fermenter a breeze. Other Upgrades That Make Brewing Easier We’ve also made a few items standard that really make the brew day easier including a thermometer for temperature monitoring and a hydrometer with testing jar for measuring sugar levels. Our reusable mesh bags allow for the easy removal of spent grain and hops at the end of the boil. The included stainless spoon is a really nice upgrade over plastic when you are stirring boiling liquids. Easy, How-To Instructions & an Actual 800# We've taught hundreds of thousands of people how to brew in over 25 years. Our instructions are clear and simple to follow and will have you making great beer with batch number one. If you have any questions, call our on-staff brewmasters at 1-800-600-0033. The FermZilla Tri-Conical Easy-Grip model comes packed with accessories so you can take full advantage of this pressurizable fermenter on day one. Please note: when using the FermZilla under pressure, you must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this, fill your FermZilla up with water, apply at least 15 psi pressure, and check for leaks around all caps and threads.   Pressure Stress If you use the FermZilla to ferment under pressure, or you use CO2 to pressure transfer or force carbonate your finished beer, it is very important that you conduct semi-annual inspections of your tank. Even with perfect care, the FermZilla tank may show signs of wear from pressure stress over time. We recommend visually inspecting your tank for stress creases or other signs of wear once or twice a year. A hydro test should be conducted every two years, even if no signs of wear are found. The process is simple: Fill the tank to the brim with water Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi) Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla. General Care Taking good care of your FermZilla begins with cleaning and sanitizing the unit before and after use. The tank is made from food-grade PET, which is beautifully clear, but can be sensitive to long soaks in cleaners and acid-based sanitizers. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank.   KegLand Part number: KL47296 NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.   FermZilla Tri-Conical 27L & 55L | User Guide

  • White Labs Yeast - Monastery Ale Yeast PurePitch Next Gen HB White Labs Yeast - Monastery Ale Yeast PurePitch Next Gen HB

White Labs Yeast | WLP500 Monastery Ale | Beer Yeast | PurePitch® Next Generation | Industry Leading Viability | 150 Billion Cells

WLP50 is sourced from a Belgian monastery and is ideal for Belgian quads, tripels and dubbels due to its high alcohol tolerance Produces characteristic notes of plum and cherry with a hint of bubble gum PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! From one of the six Trappist breweries remaining in the world, this yeast produces the distinctive fruitiness and plum characteristics. An excellent yeast for high gravity beers, Belgian ales, dubbels and trippels. If you're trying to clone Chimay this is the yeast you want to go with. Pitch at 66-68°F and let it rise up 1-2 degrees per day and hold it at 72-75°F for 7-14 days. This yeast can dry out a beer no problem. With a starting gravity beer of 1.080 SG we recommend using 8g Fermaid K (AD345) in conjunction with this yeast during the first 24-48 hours after pitch. PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Attenuation: 75-80% Flocculation: Low to Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 10-15% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 65-72°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast. Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

  • Super Transfer Pump with Removable Pre-Filter Super Transfer Pump with Removable Pre-Filter

The Vintage Shop | Super Transfer Pump | Variable Speed Diaphragm Pump | 0-3 GPM | Self-Priming | Quick Disconnect Pre-Filter | Tubing Included

    75 reviews

The perfect pump for use after fermentation! Self-priming and easy to use for transfers between carboys or kegs Included pre-filter removes solids from your liquid and features a quick disconnect design to easily remove the filter for cleaning Adjustable flow rate from 0 to 3 gallons for gentle transfers and slowly pushing finished beer through plate filters Diaphragm pumps are gentle on the liquid passing through them with much less turbulence and aeration compared to magnetic drive pumps The Vintage Shop has been a pioneer in the manufacturing of products for the home wine and beer industry since 1969 Includes tubing and clamps—ready to use out of the box! Why This is a Great Pump: Self-Priming Heat Tolerant materials to 212°F when used with Silicone tubing Speed Control! Gentle Diaphragm Design Self Priming: This pump is capable of pumping gasses, meaning that pumping does not require priming! This makes transfers between carboys or kegs incredibly easy. Simply put both inlet and outlet hoses in a bucket of sanitizer and run the pump for a minute. You're then good to transfer your beer with your sanitized pump! Removable Pre-Filter: This is something which is almost always necessary on diaphragm pumps, as the diaphragm itself is very delicate, and can be ruined by small solids. The pre-filter included on this pump will work to keep solids out of the pump, extending the working life of the unit. And the filter can be removed between uses for cleaning. Heat Tolerant: All materials used in the construction of the pump tolerate temperatures up to 212°F when used with heat tolerant tubing such as silicone.  Because the pump comes with vinyl tubing you would need to replace that tubing with silicone.  Speed Control: Perhaps the most unique feature is a dial control to adjust flow from 0 to 3 gallons per minute. Use it to send your wort from the kettle to the fermenter, or even after fermentation to send beer through a plate filter (such as our FIL45). Gentle on your Beer: A diaphragm pump works by moving beer through one pulsating diaphragm into the next. It is a design that is very gentle on the liquid being pumped. When this pump was first introduced to us, we loved the idea, but had concerns that the speed control would compromise the longevity of the motor. We've built much larger pumps and normally you need a $700 frequency drive to control motor speed. However, we've been selling this pump since the mid-2000s and it continues to perform well and receive excellent customer feedback. This pump comes with 1/2" barbed ports for easy connectivity Comes with 4' tubing on both sides Heat Tolerant materials to 212°F (when used with silicone tubing) 110 Volts, 0.5 Amp, 60 Hz.

  • Polyclar VT - PLACEHOLDER

    Polyclar VT (PVPP)

    9 reviews

A non-soluble clarifier that removes both haze causing polyphenols as well as yeast cells. Mix 2 Tbls (or 5 g) with one cup of sanitized warm water and gently stir into five gallons beer. Let stand for a few days and rack off. Polyclar VT is a coarser grade of PVPP (140 micron particle size), optimized for addition to vessels, where faster settling is required. The larger particle size also facilitates settling of the stabilizer, allowing the majority of the product to be left behind with the lees at racking. A typical contact time of between 3 to 10 days is required, although there are no adverse effects from leaving Polyclar in contact with the wine for longer periods. For wine use .5 to 2.5 grams per gallon depending upon severity of problem and desired affect. A rough approximate of weight is 1 tsp = 1.1 grams. We highly recommend using a scale to weigh the product for an accurate dose. We do not recommend relying on these rough conversions for accurate dosage rates.

Lid for 7.9 gal Plastic Bucket (FE357A)

    4 reviews

Plastic lid for FE357A. Includes hole and grommet for airlock. Made from Polypropylene. Why Polypropylene? These buckets are made from polypropylene as it is less porous and significantly smoother than other HDPE fermenters. HDPE is porous and can harbor microbial activity making it more difficult to clean and sanitize. Being less porous, polypropylene also does not absorb aroma like HDPE so there is less favour carry over from batch to batch. Kegland Part number: KL01571

  • Kit (Extract) - Anchorage Amber Ale - PLACEHOLDER Kit (Extract) - Anchorage Amber Ale - PLACEHOLDER

Anchorage Amber Ale | Alaskan Amber® Clone | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | Extract

    1 review

Due to high demand, the dry malt extract kit is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory. Inspired by Alaskan Brewing Company's Amber Ale, this recipe makes for a delicious malt-forward beer with moderate hop character Includes Cascade and Saaz hops Estimated ABV: 5.5% Estimated IBUs: 20-25 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer If you're a fan of Amber Ales, then you need to try this Alaskan Amber clone kit!  The recipe is one of true Amber fashion, using three different crystal malts as the only steeping grain.  Saaz and Cascade hops help to contribute some hop flavor and aroma, but are really just there to compliment the rich malt flavors, allowing them to be the focus of the beer. A classic example of an American Amber, and certainly one of our easiest drinking kits makes the Anchorage Amber Ale a must brew! Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.050-55 SRM (Color Range): 15 IBUs: 20-25 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 5.5% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar.

  • Kveik Yeastery - K.1 Voss - PLACEHOLDER Kveik Yeastery - K.1 Voss - PLACEHOLDER

Kveik Yeastery | K.1 Voss | Multi-Strain Kveik Yeast | Dry Beer Yeast

Produces beers with dominant orange, tangerine, and citrus flavors, complemented by subtle notes of tropical fruit and a mild spiciness Multi-Strain Kveik Yeasts are original blends of kveik yeast cultures rather than isolated single-strain yeasts Ferments effectively across a broad spectrum (59-104°F), offering flexibility for various beer styles Achieves complete fermentation in as little as 72 hours at optimal temperatures (88-95°F), speeding up the brewing process Well-suited for a variety of beer styles, including farmhouse ales, IPAs, pale ales, and sours Voss multi-strain comes from Sigmund Gjernes in Voss. The flavor and aroma primarily stem from orange, tangerine, and citrus. Secondary flavors include tropical fruit and mild spiciness. Voss ferments well between 59-104°F and will ferment faster at higher temperatures. At an optimal temperature of 88-95°F, you can expect fermentation to take up to 72 hours. Voss is well-suited for farmhouse ales, IPAs, pale ales, and sours. The Voss kveik comes from Sigmund Gjernes in Voss, Norway. Voss is situated south of the Jostedal glacier. Voss was somewhat isolated from the larger cities, and most people were farming and self-sustained. People shared kveik mainly with each other, and because of the distance to other settlements, the kveik was rarely mixed with other types. The Voss kveik is unique in taste and aroma, much because of the great work done by Sigmund and others to preserve the yeast throughout the years. The Multi-Strain Difference Kveik Yeastery's unique multi-strain kveik yeasts capture the true essence of traditional Norwegian farmhouse brewing, delivering a depth of flavor and robust fermentation unmatched by single-strain alternatives. While other suppliers offer isolated kveik strains, Kveik Yeastery is the only source for authentic, dried multi-strain blends, providing brewers with the complex, nuanced profiles that define classic kveik. These diverse blends offer a superior brewing experience, unlocking the full potential of this remarkable yeast. Flavor and Aroma Primary flavors: Orange, tangerine and citrus Secondary flavors: Tropical fruit and mild spiciness The intensity is medium at high fermentation temperatures, and at lower temperatures, it will be less intense. Fermentation Voss ferments well from 59°F up to 104°F. The higher fermentation temperature, the faster fermentation. At the optimum temperature 88-95°F expect fermentation to finish in 72 hours. When fermentation is done at low temperatures you can expect fermentation time to increase. For high gravity beers, we recommend users to pitch two packs of yeast and add yeast nutrition to ensure a healthy fermentation. Pitching Pitch directly into wort by sprinkling it across the surface, or rehydrate yeast. For fermentation below 64°F, or high gravity, increase pitching rate to 2.25 g/Gal. One 7 g sachet treats 5 to 8 gallons of wort. One 300 g brewery pouch treats 8.5 bbl of wort.   Effective Fermentation Temp: 59-104°F Optimum Fermentation Temp: 88-95°F Flocculation: High Alcohol Tolerance: 13% ABV Attenuation: High

  • Lees Stirrer - Stainless w/ Plastic Blades Lees Stirrer - Stainless w/ Plastic Blades

    Lees Stirrer

    20 reviews

The blades fold down allowing for easy insertion into a barrel or even a glass carboy. Ideal for mixing, stirring wine and works great as a degasser. As soon as you turn your drill on the blades expand to create a powerful stirring action. We do not recommend using in a carboy that is topped full because the stirrer displaces too much liquid and also creates a vortex that will send wine out the top. In these cases a hollow racking cane works exceptionally well. Works with 3/8" or larger drills. Stirrer is around 2' long.

OptiRED – Lallemand Yeast Derivative for Color, Body & Tannin Integration in Red Wines Enhances early formation of polysaccharide–polyphenol complexes for more intense, stable color Rounds and smooths tannins to reduce harshness and astringency Builds fuller body and improved mouthfeel without altering varietal expression Can be used at the start or during fermentation for flexible control over tannin structure Outperforms generic inactivated yeast products by delivering high‑molecular‑weight mannoproteins via MEX™ processing OptiRED is a tailored inactivated yeast derivative produced by Lallemand using an innovative MEX™ method that makes high-molecular-weight polysaccharides immediately available in the must. When introduced early during maceration or alcohol fermentation, these compounds complex with freshly released anthocyanins and tannins, protecting color integrity and creating softer, more integrated tannin profiles. The result is a red wine with enhanced intensity, smoother palate, improved structural balance, and longer-term color stability—without over‑manipulating varietal character. This effect is particularly noticeable in light‑ to medium‑bodied reds or in vintages with lower phenolic maturity. Protocol Suspend the recommended dose in 10× its weight of clean must or water. Stir thoroughly to ensure full dispersion, then add at one of these points: • At the beginning of maceration or alcoholic fermentation for enhanced color protection and tannin integration • Toward the end of fermentation to smooth out persistent harshness without affecting initial extraction. Usage Rates Recommended dosage: 20–40 g per hectoliter = 0.2–0.4 g per liter = 0.76–1.5 g per gallon For standard use, 30 g/hL (0.3 g/L or ~1.14 g/gal) provides excellent balance between color enhancement and mouthfeel refinement. For home users a rough approximate of weight is 1 tsp = 2.6 grams. We highly recommend using a scale to weigh the product for an accurate dose. We do not recommend relying on these rough conversions for accurate dosage rates.

    BrewBuilt® CIP Spray Ball | 1.5" T.C.

    4 reviews

BrewBuilt CIP Spray Ball for use with X-Series Uni Conicals or any stainless steel fermenter with 1.5" tri-clamp fittings. The head emits a 360° fan spray that cleans above and below the spinning ball. The sharp spray easily removes soil inside your tank. The long neck design allows the spray ball to reach through tall fittings and ferrules. With a welded 90° elbow inlet, you won't have any trouble with kinked hosing slowing your pump flow and lowering the spray ball's performance. A pump capable of 30-45 psi and 11 GPM is recommended for this product to provide a high pressure cleaning radius of 3.6 ft. When used with BrewBuilt conicals, 7 GPM is enough to coat the full interior of the fermenter, but longer CIP runs might be required to fully breakdown stubborn solid deposits.

Derived from T-90 Mosaic® pellet hops to perfectly replicate the aroma profile while omitting undesirable compounds found in hop vegetal matter Flavor/Aroma: Citrus, Pine, Floral The perfect hop: Using 100% hop-derived terpenes, Abstrax builds exact profiles to match the flavor and aroma of an exemplary lot of Mosaic® hops Consistent results every time. Eliminates the variance of using hops that may differ by age, crop year, storage conditions, growing region, processing method or farm Replace pellet hops: 5mL is equal to roughly 5.5 oz of pellet hops, while 1 oz of Quantum is equal to 2 lbs of pellet hops Mosaic® Quantum Brite Sharing its parentage with SIM and Nugget, Mosaic® could be considered to be the second most successful hop in the world behind Citra®. Mosaic® is a robust blend of funky grapefruit and pine with light floral notes. Optimized Hop Extracts Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment. Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around. Quantum Tastes Better The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum. Dosage Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass. Features: 100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer Consistent from batch to batch No yield loss from absorption Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds No Lipids No Chlorophyll Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze. Mosaic® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

A truly sessionable IPA overflowing with hop character Includes Warrior®, Centennial, and Simcoe® hops Estimated ABV: 5% Estimated IBUs: 58-62 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer If you're looking for a new session IPA to obsess over, look no further!  We recently changed this recipe slightly, making all finishing hops Centennial (rather than a blend between Centennial and HBC-342).  We made sure to keep the Simcoe® dry hop though, as we felt this really brought a "pop" to the aroma!   While the general rule of thumb has been "one or two IPAs and you're feeling it", at just under 5%, we like to think of this beer as a hop lovers dream.  The type of IPA that you can open up at noon, get the grill going, and forget worrying about how you're going to feel after drinking 8% IPAs for a few hours!  (Yes, we know that feeling too...) A half pound of corn sugar helps this one finish out nice and dry, while a small amount of acidulated malt will help make those hops pop. The clean bitterness of Warrior® balances perfectly with a slightly sweet malt profile, all topped off with a white, frothy head thanks to the wheat malt. So what are you waiting for?!  Order your kit today and let the obsession begin! Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.048-1.052 SRM (Color Range): 5-6 IBUs: 58-62 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 5%   Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. Simcoe® and Warrior® are registered trademarks owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

  • Kit (All Grain) - M-80 IPA - PLACEHOLDER Kit (All Grain) - M-80 IPA - PLACEHOLDER

M-80 IPA by Carlos Musques | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    24 reviews

Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends! Packed with hops in the kettle and finished with fresh oranges in the fermenter, this IPA is primed to explode in your mouth Includes Columbus, Simcoe®, and Centennial hops Estimated ABV: 6.5% Estimated IBUs: 75-80 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Remember your parents scaring you with "Be careful of firecrackers, they can explode in your hand!"  Well let us warn you right now... our new, juicy M-80 IPA is going to explode in your mouth. It's going to be crazy. Flavors going everywhere. Maybe your parents would tell you to use caution and not to make this beer. But you're grown up now, making adult decisions (most of the time), and we think you've earned the right to buy a beer kit with a fuse and a lighter. With a slight smile and a wink of the eye, we say "go ahead... have some fun". Let us tell you about the inner workings of this bomb. Sure it has big IPA malt, but you want to know about the hops. It starts with an unreasonable amount of Simcoe®, Columbus, and Centennial hops. By themselves these are all explosive hops, but together they combine to bring true, huge IPA hop flavor.  Because of the similarity of hops, one MoreBeer! staffer dubbed it a mini "Pliny The Elder... but with orange". High praise indeed. Did you just say Orange? Well done sir, good paying attention. What really sets this IPA apart from the masses is that the recipe calls for you to cut up and add three fresh oranges into the fermenter. Crazy? We thought so. But that is what we love about our Signature Series of Beer Kits, a selection of crazy, unique beers that really stand out. M-80 IPA was designed and created by your fellow homebrewer, Carlos Musquez. We do admit he went a little AWOL on this kit and into uncharted territory, but we love a rebel. You will need to supply the three fresh oranges... we'd ship them to you, but they would get a little squishy. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.059-64 SRM (Color Range): 7 IBUs: 75-80 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 6.5%   Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. OYL-090 offers a unique profile of lychee, pear, and tropical fruit cup and bolsters the sweet aromatics of modern IPAs Most expressive when fermented at 90°F+ but still reveals character at its lower temperature range Double pitch size with a minimum of 225 billion cells—twice the size of the standard yeast pitch Proprietary propagation methods generate fresh, metabolically strong yeast cells and optimal biomass Omega Yeast is founded on curiosity and innovation, expertly producing common workhorse varieties and many unique strains Espe Kveik from Omega offers a unique flavor profile of lychee, pear, and tropical fruit cup. It can bolster the sweet aromatics of modern IPAs, but is versatile enough for your house pale ale or exotic seasonal brews. Espe is traced back to the village of Grodås in Norway and has an exceptionally wide fermentation temperature range. It's most expressive when fermented at or above 90°F, but you'll still pick up its character when fermented at lower ale fermentation temps. Kveik refers to traditional Norwegian farmhouse brewing yeast that has been passed down from one generation to the next, literally being harvested and repitched for centuries. Over this long period of time, kveik developed certain characteristics that distinguish it from modern brewer's yeast. In general, kveik has a very high heat tolerance and will produce a consistent flavor profile across the fermentation temperature range. It's also a fast fermenter, highly flocculent, and has an above average alcohol tolerance. Attenuation: 75-80% Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 12% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 68-98°F Cell Count: 225 Billion   Please Note: For best results we Always recommend ordering an Ice Pack with your liquid yeast. Ice Packs can be found below in the "You might Also Need" section.

  • White Labs Yeast - London Ale Yeast PurePitch Next Gen HB White Labs Yeast - London Ale Yeast PurePitch Next Gen HB

White Labs Yeast | WLP013 London Ale | Beer Yeast | PurePitch® Next Generation | Industry Leading Viability | 150 Billion Cells

WLP013 is well-suited for classic British beer styles such as pales and bitters, or dark malty beers like brown ales and porters Leaves beer dry while adding malt complexity and pushing hop bitterness Ideal for high gravity ales, American and English hoppy beers, as well as malty ambers, porters, and brown ales PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! WLP013 London Ale Yeast is malty, dry and provides a complex, oakey ester character to beer. Bitterness from the hops shines through as well, making WLP013 perfect for classic British pale ales, bitters, and stouts. Will not flocculate as much as WLP002 and WLP005. Attenuation: 67-75% Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 8-12% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 66-71°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.
