West Coast Pilsner combines the crisp, refreshing crushability of a Pilsner with the hoppy wallop of a West Coast IPA
Includes Citra®, Amarillo®, Riwaka, and Mosaic® hops
Estimated ABV: 5.4%
Estimated IBUs: 30
Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
The lines between clean, crushable lagers and hop-forward IPAs continue to blur at breweries and taprooms across the country. Whether it’s a hoppy lager or a Cold IPA that’s flying out of the tap handle, one thing is certain: craft beer drinkers love the combination of a crisp, refreshing lager with the heaps of new world hop character that you’d expect from a modern IPA. Pacific Coast Pilsner is our take on one of the styles within this ever-rising sub category of beers—the West Coast Pilsner. The malt bill consists of nearly 100% pilsner malt for a super-clean base and bright straw color in the glass. And now for the West Coast spin. Rather than a dash of noble hops, this recipe includes a healthy addition of Pacific Northwest and Southern Hemisphere hops in the boil, whirlpool, and dry hopping. The end result is a true “best of both worlds” beer. Light and easy-drinking, not too bitter, and teeming with citrusy, tropical hop character.

Ekuanot® is one of the newest hop varietals released and has been received with much acclaim. Released in 2014, Ekuanot® (formally Equinox and HBC 366) has surged in popularity and growing acreage. The ridiculously high oil content (2.5-4 ml/100g!) and desirable aromatics have lead breweries of all sizes to flock to this hop. Great for all beer styles but definitely featured in IPAs and other hop forward beers. Ekuanot® is described as having aromas of melon, berry, orange peel, lime, papaya, pine and fresh peppers. Try it in your next batch and see what flavors you find!

WLP005 is a popular choice for malty English beers, especially those using traditional malts like Marris Otter, Golden Promise, or floor malted barley Known to push bready, grainy malt flavors and produce mild esters PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! Like most English strains, this yeast produces malty beers. We get a velvety mouth feel on the palate and a hint of cherries and rose petals in the aroma. With the great attenuation this strain provides you can ferment almost any ale. We've used this in a strong scotch and the outcome was phenomenal. To ferment this yeast properly pitch at 64-66°F and let it rise to 66-68°F. Ferment for 10-14 days in the primary. Excellent for all English style ales including bitter, pale ale, porter, and brown ale. PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Attenuation: 67-74% Flocculation: High Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 65-70°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast. Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.

Fermentation Tannins lend long-term stability to your wine by laying the right foundation during fermentation.
Scott'Tan FT Rouge is composed of exotic wood and chestnut tannins. Designed specifically for North American red wine fermentations. Benefits can include increased structure and mouthfeel, color stabilization, stability, anti-oxidative qualities, and overall complexity. Tannins can reduce vegetal/herbaceous characteristics and perceived astringency.
To Use:
Sprinkle directly onto must and either mix well with your punch down tool or pump over to ensure thorough mixing. If adding to the wine post-fermentation we recommend allowing 3-6 weeks for full integration before racking, fining, filtering or bottling. If being used in conjunction with one another, tannins should be added 6-8 hours after the addition of the enzymes or you run the risk of having the tannins reacting with and removing the enzymes before they have had a chance to do their job!
Recommended dosage rate: 0.8-1.9 g/gal. Use at an initial rate of 1.3 gram per gallon during punch down/pump over. If you want additional tannin add at a rate of .25 g/gal.
A rough approximate of weight is 1 tsp = 2.4 grams. We highly recommend using a scale to weigh the product for an accurate dose. We do not recommend relying on these rough conversions for accurate dosage rates.
Unopened the shelf life is 5 years at 18C (65F).

Ever wanted to punch out a few more gallons of wort with your 35L BrewZilla? Maybe you wanted more strike water for a super sticky batch. Maybe you get boil overs a lot and would like a bit of extra protection. Now there's a solution! The all new 35L BrewZilla Boiler Extension adds 3.1 gallons of headroom. Turn that 9.2G BrewZilla or DigiMash system into a 12.3G behemoth! The extension kit is also great for distilling! Extend the height of your pot still by attaching one or more boiler extensions. For distillation, we recommend upgrading to the Adjustable Lid Clamps which allow you to dial in the tension for a better seal. If you're struggling to get an airtight seal when using the Distillation Lid, these clamps can help provide more tension. Compatible with Gen 3 / Gen 4 BrewZillas. Please Note: The 110V unit may struggle to bring 10+ gallons of wort to boil. Expect longer heating times and a more gentle boil. An insulating jacket is highly recommended if using the 110V model. Track your fermentation progress without ever disturbing your wort! The Tilt Hydrometer and Thermometer is added directly to your fermenter to provide real-time data on the current gravity and temperature of your wort, eliminating the hassle and potential contamination that comes from opening your fermenter to pull samples. The Tilt is especially useful for brewers fermenting in glass carboys or plastic fermenters that don't have spigots for sample taking. Designed for homebrewing, the Tilt hydrometer lets you instantly read your brew's specific gravity and temperature on your compatible Apple iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone/tablet or Tilt Pi. Most Bluetooth 4.0+ devices will work with the Tilt. You can then optionally log data to the cloud using their free Google Sheets template or other 3rd party cloud platforms. Tilt's goal is to help homebrewers brew better beer. The Tilt hydrometer allows you to check the specific gravity and temperature of your beer while it's fermenting, without ever having to open your fermenter or pour out any of your precious brew. This makes brewing more consistent and easier to track. Here are some of the new features of the Tilt: Range: Better reception and range. With the increased transmission power your Tilt will send data through larger, thicker-walled fermenters. Precision: Upgraded sensors. With an improved temperature sensor and accelerometer your Tilt will operate with more precision. Efficiency: Reduced power consumption so more brews, less battery changing. New Look: Newly designed custom circuit board and harness. If using multiple Tilt hydrometers for different batches of fermenting beer you must use a different color for each batch. The app will not read multiple hydrometers of the same color. Each Tilt comes calibrated and ready to go with a pre-installed battery that lasts 12-24 months depending on usage. Just download the free app, sanitize your Tilt, drop it in your fermenter, and start taking readings with your phone, tablet, or Tilt Pi. The specific gravity is accurate +/- 0.002 within the Tilt's range of 0.990 to 1.120. The thermometer is accurate +/- 1°F (+/- 0.5°C). Download the free Tilt app at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or get the free Tilt Pi download.

The Premium Electric All Grain Homebrewing Starter Kit represents the absolute best value you’ll find in all-grain equipment kits! What puts this kit ahead of the pack is the DigiBoil electric kettle with DigiMash upgrade, which combine for the most affordable and approachable introduction to all-grain brewing. Electric systems are becoming more and more popular in homebrewing, and for good reason. Most home brewing kits require a kitchen stove or outdoor propane burner, but with the DigiBoil you can make great beer just about anywhere you can find a power socket. The DigiBoil’s compact design makes this kit the ideal choice for those that want to brew indoors and not take up a lot of space. We also include the 6-gallon Fermonster fermenter, copper wort chiller, beer recipe kit of your choice, and all the time-tested brewing equipment you need to make beer at home. If purchased piece-by-piece this kit would cost well over $500, so you can feel confident that you’re getting all of the included equipment at the lowest price possible!
Electric Brewing
Typical home brewing starter kits set you up to brew your first batch of beer on the kitchen stove. This may lower the price tag but brewers will naturally progress beyond the kitchen to an outdoor gas burner or electric brewing system. Electric brewing systems have several advantages, firstly being that they do not require propane so there is no chance of running out of gas mid-brew. Secondly, electric kettles use a built-in temperature probe and digital controller to automatically maintain temperatures. This gives you a precise level of control that gas systems rarely match. Finally, the DigiBoil electric kettle is extremely compact and is the ideal choice for brewers that have space constraints or live in an area where brewing outdoors isn't an option year-round.
110V vs. 220V
The DigiBoil electric kettle comes in two power options, 110 volt and 220 volt. The 110V unit features a standard 3-prong plug and will work with most US household power outlets. The 220V unit features a NEMA 6-30R plug, typically only used with large household appliances such as washer/dryer outlets. Both power options are perfectly suitable for brewing. The 110V option provides greater flexibility, allowing you to move your brewery from the kitchen to the garage, basement, or outdoor patio with ease. If you have convenient access to 220V power, the 220V model will significantly reduce heating times and provide a more vigorous boil.
All Grain Brewing
Extract brewing is the most popular method for beginner brewers, but all-grain is really where it’s at. Instead of using concentrated malt extracts, the fermentable sugars are produced by steeping malted grains in hot water for an extended period of time, a process called ‘mashing’. All-grain brewing offers far greater control over the character of the finished beer, allowing the brewer to finely adjust the color, body, and malt profile. This kit is also perfectly suited for extract brewing, so if you find all-grain brewing a bit too complicated at first you can always switch methods. Your system will be ready for all-grain whenever you're ready to step back up!

The Fermonster Fermenter - A Huge Upgrade Over Standard Buckets or Glass "Carboy" Water Bottles
Unlike buckets or glass carboys, the Fermonster fermenter was designed for brewing beer. It is made from tough, clear, virgin grade PET plastic so you can see the magic of fermentation. Unlike glass it will never break and shatter if dropped. It represents a huge upgrade over traditional buckets because these fermenters are much less likely to get scratched. Scratches can hold bacteria that can cause off flavors in the beer. The Fermonster comes with a built-in spigot that eliminates a long time issue in homebrewing of having to start a siphon to transfer your beer to the bottling bucket after fermentation is over. The large 4" lid allows for easily adding yeast, hops, or other additions. We also really love the molded-in level markers that tell you exactly when you have reached your desired volume.
We Don't Skimp on Cleaning and Sanitizing
Proper cleaning and sanitizing is one of the core tenants of making great beer. Some starter kits utilize an all-in-one cleaner/sanitizer that does neither job well. We’ve included the best-selling sanitizer for brewing, Star San. We also include Craftmeister oxygen-based cleaning tablets that make cleaning your Fermonster Fermenter a breeze.
Other Upgrades That Make Brewing Easier
We’ve also made a few items standard that really make the brew day easier including a thermometer for temperature monitoring and a hydrometer with testing jar for measuring sugar levels. Our reusable mesh bags allow for the easy removal of spent grain and hops at the end of the boil. The included stainless spoon is a really nice upgrade over plastic when you are stirring boiling liquids.
Easy, How-To Instructions & an Actual 800#
We've taught hundreds of thousands of people how to brew in over 25 years. Our instructions are clear and simple to follow and will have you making great beer with batch number one. If you have any questions, call our on-staff brewmasters at 1-800-600-0033. In an age where 800-numbers and real customer service is going away, you can still call us and ask a question.

One of the quintessential English hops, Fuggle is prized for its earthy, floral, and understated fruit characteristics. Primarily used as an aroma hop, it will give your beer a "British" flavor that is distinct from the popular Northwestern varieties like Cascade, Centennial, Columbus or Chinook. Fuggle is generally associated with delicate and pleasant mint, grass, and floral tones. Fuggle is a fine choice when making any English Ales, including Bitter, ESB, Pale Ale, Stout, Strong Ale, Cask Ale, and many more.

KegLand has developed the world's most compact mini digital gauge with backlight illumination. This very compact design retains high accuracy while still meeting the desirable small form factor. This meets the growing need as mini keg systems, mini regulators and other more compact keg dispensing solutions are required. Traditional analogue gauges require a small capillary mechanism where a small pipe expands and unravels under pressure. This in turn drives a mechanical cog to rotate the gauge needle. This age-old technique works quite well especially in large gauges but as this mechanism is manufactured smaller and smaller a tradeoff between accuracy and size becomes the issue. With very small gauges such as a 27mm x 27mm Mini Gauge, it's difficult to make them better than 10% accuracy due to the physical constraints of the mechanical components. Specifications: Battery Life: More than 2 years (using the mini gauge once a day) Battery Type: CR2032 Auto Battery Saver: automatically turns off after 15 sec Size: 27mm x 27mm (1" x 1") Duotight Stem: 8 mm KegLand Part Number: KL18081 Please note: This gauge is not suitable for measuring pressure of liquids. It is only for measuring gas pressure. If liquid gets into the pressure transducer it will damage the gauge.

White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation
Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch!
Classic Saison yeast from Wallonia. It produces earthy, peppery, and spicy notes. Slightly sweet. With high gravity saisons, brewers may wish to dry the beer with an alternate yeast added after 75% fermentation. Known to be a slow starter.
The trick to fermenting a Saison is to pitch at 66-68F and raise it 1-2 degrees per day until you get to 85F. Yes, that is correct...85F! This yeast is so moody that you have to keep giving it warmth towards the end because it gets lazy and wants to go to sleep. Hold at 85F for 3-5 days until terminal gravity is reached then transfer off of yeast bed to bottling bucket or keg.

For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.
Leak-Proof Double O-Ring Technology: Engineered with high-quality EPDM double O-rings, providing twice the sealing surface of standard push-in fittings for maximum reliability and a leak-free draft setup.
Modular & Customizable Gas Control: Features integrated, removable check valves to prevent backflow and a tool-free "pop-tab" design that allows you to easily swap, remove, or plug individual ball valves.
Instant Tool-Free Connectivity: Designed for 8mm EVABarrier tubing, the Duotight push-to-connect system allows for secure, seconds-fast installation with flexible mounting options for any kegerator or fermentation chamber.
Please Note: The Duotight Manifolds feature 8mm Duotight connections at both ends. One end is intended for your gas line and the other can be used to attach another manifold or a variety of accessories. If you will not be installing anything on the other end, you will need a 8mm Plug to cap the opposite end from your Gas In (see below).
Streamline your draft setup with the Duotight Gas Manifold, featuring integrated check valves on every ball valve outlet. These check valves provide essential protection by preventing backflow; however, they can be easily removed if you require gas to flow freely in both directions. 8mm Duotight push-to-connect inlet and outlets allow you to easily connect EVABarrier draft tubing in seconds. Available in 2-Way, 4-Way, and 6-Way configurations.
Customization & Modular Design
This manifold is designed for flexibility. If you need to shut off specific lines permanently, we recommend using the Duotight 8mm Plug (DUO102). Modifying the unit is straightforward: use a thin flat-head screwdriver to pop the black retainer tabs, allowing you to remove or swap individual ball valves as needed. If you wish to expand your manifold the future, multiple Duotight Manifolds can be connected using the 8mm Rigid Joiners (DUO202).
Mounting Solutions
Every manifold comes ready for installation with button-head screws for standard mounting. If you prefer not to drill into your kegerator or fermentation chamber, we suggest using Duotight Adhesive Brackets (DUO263) for a secure, tool-free setup.
High Performance Double O-Ring Design:
The secret to Duotight’s superior sealing performance comes from the fact that they use not one, but two high-quality EPDM O-rings. The double O-ring means they have literally twice the sealing surface when compared with other push-in fittings. This makes them more reliable and significantly reduces the chance of leakage.
The double O-ring system also means that tubing can be bent at a much tighter radius without causing leaking issues, which can be an issue with other fittings. This combination of factors makes Duotight the most reliable push-in fittings on the market.
EPDM offers excellent chemical resistance for a longer life span. When compared with silicone and vinyl, EPDM has much better gas transmission rates, better wear resistance, and is BPA-free.
No Clamps Necessary!
We recommend cutting your tubing straight, not on an angle, to ensure the line forms a complete seal. To remove the fitting simply push in the collet and the hose can be removed.

Type D Camlock Fitting. Female Camlock with 1/2" Female BSP.
Camlock fittings are the preferred choice for many home and professional brewers alike. They have a higher working pressure and hold a tighter seal than quick disconnect fittings, making them less likely to leak while in use. Locking and unlocking the female pieces may require two hands, but it's a small price to pay for long-lasting reliability.

This recipe comes from the late homebrewing legend—and our dear friend—Mike “Tasty” McDole. Mike is one of the best homebrewers we’ve ever known, and one of our original customers way back when the entire MoreBeer! operation fit inside a storage shed. Aside from brewing many award-winning beers, Tasty helped grow homebrewing as a hobby, and as a community, here in the Bay Area and well beyond.
Mike's American Amber Ale earned him multiple 1st- and 2nd-place ribbons, including a Gold Medal at the National Homebrew Competition. We were after him for awhile for this recipe and he finally gave his consent, allowing this to be the 11th entry into MoreBeer!'s lineup of Signature Series kits. With over 12 lbs of malt and 4 rounds of hop additions, this is a full-bodied, hop-forward beer. When it comes time to drink this beer, raise one for Tasty!

Produces beers with dominant apple and pear flavors, complemented by subtle notes of tropical fruit and citrus
Multi-Strain Kveik Yeasts are original blends of kveik yeast cultures rather than isolated single-strain yeasts
Ferments effectively across a broad spectrum (59-100°F), offering flexibility for various beer styles
Achieves complete fermentation in as little as 72 hours at optimal temperatures (88-95°F), speeding up the brewing process
Perfect for IPAs
Ebbegarden multi-strain originates from Ebbegarden farm in Stordal. The flavor and aroma primarily come from apple and pear, with secondary notes of tropical fruit and citrus. Ebbegarden ferments well between 15-38°C and will ferment faster at higher temperatures. At an optimal temperature of 31-35°C, you can expect fermentation to take up to 72 hours. Ebbegarden is perfect for IPAs.
Ebbegarden kveik comes from Ebbegarden farm in Stordal, Norway. Ebbegarden has traditionally produced fruit, which is believed to be the source of the fruitiness in their kveik. During the Viking age, the mild climate made many Vikings settle down to fish and farm the land in Stordalen, and the first church was built in the 1100s. Beer and spirits were a big part of celebrations and gatherings for birth, confirmations and burials, and people made their own beer with kveik, especially for these gatherings.
The Multi-Strain Difference
Kveik Yeastery's unique multi-strain kveik yeasts capture the true essence of traditional Norwegian farmhouse brewing, delivering a depth of flavor and robust fermentation unmatched by single-strain alternatives. While other suppliers offer isolated kveik strains, Kveik Yeastery is the only source for authentic, dried multi-strain blends, providing brewers with the complex, nuanced profiles that define classic kveik. These diverse blends offer a superior brewing experience, unlocking the full potential of this remarkable yeast.
Flavor and Aroma
Primary flavors: Apple and pear
Secondary flavors: Tropical fruit and citrus
The intensity is medium at high fermentation temperatures, and at lower temperatures, it will be less intense.
Fermentation
Ebbegarden ferments well from 59°F up to 100°F. The higher fermentation temperature, the faster fermentation. At the optimum temperature 88-95°F expect fermentation to finish in 72 hours. When fermentation is done at low temperatures you can expect fermentation time to increase. For high gravity beers, we recommend users to pitch two packs of yeast and add yeast nutrition to ensure a healthy fermentation.
Pitching
Pitch directly into wort by sprinkling it across the surface, or rehydrate yeast. For fermentation below 64°F, or high gravity, increase pitching rate to 2.25 g/Gal.
One 7 g sachet treats 5 to 8 gallons of wort.
One 300 g brewery pouch treats 8.5 bbl of wort.

Lemon peel is the outer skin of the citrus fruit of the same name, which is technically referred to as the exocarp. The peel actually consists of two components the flavedo and the outer white pith of the rind. Because the peel is where the essential oils of the fruit reside, it retains robust flavor, even when dried.

Upgrade your home brewery with an innovative, Stainless Steel, 3.5 Gallon Brew Bucket™ Fermenter! Many have asked for a smaller BrewBucket, and that has been heard. The Brew Bucket mini is perfect for 2.5 gallon batches. With features similar to the original 7 gallon Brew Bucket, the Mini is a great way to do smaller batches. Whether you are interested in splitting a 5 gallon batch for experimenting, or just brew 2.5 gallons, the BrewBucket Mini is a great choice.
Featuring a conical bottom, 304 SS construction, a rotating racking arm valve, and stackable design, these are space saving feature rich fermenters that are easy and enjoyable to use.
We inspected and used the Brew Bucket™ and one of the most unique features that stood out is that the Brew Bucket can be stacked during fermentation, even with an airlock attached. We also like the conical bottom that allows trub to settle out in a concentrated space that minimizes the surface area of the trub that is in contact with your beer. The included Patent Pending Rotating Racking Valve is also a brilliantly simple design allowing you to rotate the racking arm inside the Brew Bucket down during fermentation to minimize trub, and later up to get clear beer when racking! Etched Volume Markers on the inside were super handy when filling.
The build quality is really amazing for the price. Welds are clean. The lid is strong and the spring loaded lid hatches are solid. The lid includes a removable, molded silicone gasket that ensures an airtight seal. We love an airtight seal so that we can be sure to see the airlock working. The welded on stainless handles make the BrewBucket fermentor super easy to move.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Attenuation: 75-80% Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 50-55°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.
Unlike standard low-end bottle fillers, the Vintage Shop's springless model uses a plastic valve instead of a spring to seal. The springs are not made from a food grade quality metal. Fillers will work with 12 or 22oz bottles. Use with 1/2" tubing. Larger 1/2" diameter and increased flow is good for wine applications.
Dual Functionality: Acts as both a stopper and an airlock, allowing CO2 to escape while preventing oxygen and contaminants from entering, ensuring optimal fermentation conditions. Versatile Fit: Compatible with a wide range of containers, including 3, 5, 6, and 6.5-gallon carboys, 1-gallon bottles, growlers, and 500 mL flasks, replacing multiple stopper sizes. Ideal for Wine and Beer Ferments: Breathable stoppers are a popular choice in commercial wineries and perfect for beer fermentation, it creates a vacuum if the wort cools, preventing contamination from water airlocks. A breathable Silicone stopper that acts as both a stopper and an airlock. Unique design allows CO2 pressure to escape but keeps Oxygen and airborne contamination out. This quickly became our stopper of choice for wine, and is a popular style used by numerous commercial wineries. Also has great application for beer ferments: It will create a vacuum if fermenting wort cools (as opposed to pulling water in from your traditional airlock.) Airtight seal is great for extended fermented lager when CO2 production is still present but very slight. Fits 3, 5, 6 & 6.5 gallon glass carboys, 1 gallon bottles, growlers, and 500 mL flasks. Replaces Stopper Sizes #6, #6.5, #7, #8 Stopper Measurements: 0.94" x 1.48" (24 mm x 37.5 mm) The flapper stopper protrudes roughly 2.5" from the stopper to allow for easy assembly Other available sizes include the Universal Breathable Bung and the Breathable Barrel Bung. All three size options can be purchased in one complete bundle with the Breather Bung Pack.
The best barrels out there are not varnished, sealed or lined, which means that all barrels will leak if proper care is not taken. KegLand's specially formulated Oak Barrel Wax will do the job if there are some leaks that cannot be plugged by swelling of the oak.

Our take on Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale, this beer is smooth and balanced with floral, citrus & grapefruit aromas and flavors

Estimated ABV: 4.9%

A truly tranquil beer, the Glass Lake Pale Ale is our take on the Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale. We kept the malts simple, using maltodextrin and Crystal 10L, the lightest crystal malt we offer, to add a little body and color to the smooth malt backbone that our ultralight malt extract provides. Cascade is the only hop varietal in this recipe, being used from bittering all the way to the dry hop addition!
The result is a very smooth and balanced beer, complete with the classic floral, citrus & grapefruit aromas and flavors that Cascade hops are so well known for.

The Super Hop Filter is designed to rest inside your kettle and keep hops and other vegetal matter from transferring out with your wort. This is a great alternative to hop bags which have the potential to decrease hop utilization. While using this filter basket you can add hops directly to your kettle for maximum wort exposure.
The 13.75" diameter will fit most 10-gallon or larger kettles. It's also wide enough that most immersion chillers can rest inside the basket during chilling.
Made from 304 stainless steel
300 micron mesh
Lifting handle
Hooked feet to keep it off the kettle floor

WLP838 is a strong fermenter characterized by a malty finish, balanced aroma and great flocculation Produces slight sulfur and low diacetyl during fermentation. Diacetyl rest and conditioning are recommended PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! Characterized by a malty finish and balanced aroma. It is a strong fermenter, produces slight sulfur, and low diacetyl. It can produce some fantastically complex, malty beers but it is a little bit more unpredictable than WLP830.
