A 1/3 mix each of citric, tartaric and malic acids. Primarily used in fruit wines to adjust acid levels.
A rough approximate of weight is 1 tsp = 3 grams. We highly recommend using a scale to weigh the product for an accurate dose. We do not recommend relying on these rough conversions for accurate dosage rates.
In wine, used to kill naturally occurring microorganisms and prevent spoilage. Also works as an antioxidant. Add at a rate of 1 tab/gallon to achieve 75 ppm free SO2. These tablets use potassium metabisulphate as opposed to sodium metabisulphate. This is generally preferred by winemakers who do not want to add sodium into their wine.
Can also be added to water to remove chloramine (1 tab is sufficient for roughly 5-20 gallons)
4.3 °L - Viking Malt - Viking Smoked Malt is produced from 2-row spring malting barley, null-LOX variety. The flavors of these malts are as with pilsner malt with rather strong smoky flavor depending on type of wood used for smoking. Viking uses apple, beech, cherry, sweet cherry and pear wood delivered from ecological, clean areas. Due to relatively low processing temperatures, enzymatic activities and other good brewing properties are maintained.
In brewing, Smoked Malt can be considered as pilsner malt with a special aroma as Smoked Malt's flavor and taste profile is not too overwhelming.
In 2016 Viking Malt and Danish Malting Group joined forces to better serve their customers. Now the new Viking Malt is the leading malting company in Northern Europe and supply raw materials and services to the global brewing, distilling and food industries. Viking Malt has 6 malthouses in areas where our distinctive Nordic barley is sourced: in Halmstad, Sweden; Vordingborg, Denmark; Lahti, Finland; Panevezys, Lithuania and in Sierpc and Strzegom, Poland. The annual malting capacity is close to 600 kilotons.

Premium, Fire-Toasted Oak Cubes from Stavin
Medium Toast French Oak will impart flavors of coconut, vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate.
These fire-toasted oak cubes are as close as you can come to the full range of flavors you would get from aging your beer in a full sized barrel, unlike convection-toased cubes.
The difference is that convection toasted cubes are made by cutting the stave to size, then passing the small cubes through a toasting chamber. Stavin fire-toasts their staves whole, just like they would when making a barrel, and then cuts them down to size. The result is a gradation of toasting from the surface through to the center of the cube, where each different toast level represents a different flavor set that the oak will give your beer. The result is a much more complex and natural profile; by comparison convection toasted cubes taste one dimensional.
Oak cubes also release their flavor into your beer more slowly than chips, giving you more control over the final degree of impact in your beer. You should plan on an extended aging period of 1-6 months when using cubes. This longer contact time again promotes flavor complexity by allowing all the flavors of the oak and your beer to marry.
Recommended Dosage is 2 oz per 5 gallons for impact equivalent to aging in a brand new oak barrel

Flash Brewing® KitsIntroducing MoreBeer!'s Flash Brewing® Kits! Designed for both novice and seasoned homebrewers, these innovative recipe kits allow you to simply mix the ingredients with water and add yeast for fermentation. This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.
Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor.

This imperial stout is one of our most complex recipe kits. Not only because of the ingredients invovled (12 pounds of base malt, 5 specialty malts, and 3 different hops!), but because of the mouthfeel, flavors, and aromas it provides. The all grain kit even includes 2 pounds of dry malt extract because the amount of malt simply won't fit in your average size mash tun!
This is also one of those beers that continues to improve the longer it's allowed to age. Our Old Bearded Stout is bold, boasting an incredible roasty, bready flavors, and aromas of chocolate and coffee. Coming in at right around 8.9%, this is a great beer to "just have one" of, but we won't blame you if you go for a second!

WLP83 is well suited for bocks, doppelbocks, and Oktoberfest-style beers and has become a popular choice for classic American-style lagers Produces beers that are well balanced between malt and hop character PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! From the alps of southern Bavaria (cue the music), this yeast produces a beer that is beautifully balanced between malt and hop character. The excellent malt profile makes it well-suited for Bocks, Doppelbocks and Oktoberfest-style beers. A very versatile lager yeast, it is so well-balanced that is has gained tremendous popularity for use in Classic American-style Pilsners. Also good for Munich Helles-style lager beer. PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Attenuation: 70-76% Flocculation: Medium Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 48-55°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast. Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.
Smaller home brews should still produce results that are just as tasty as larger batches, which is why this 5 Gallon Stainless Steel Kettle is an excellent addition to your home brew setup. This small 5 gallon brewing kettle is a great kettle for the beginning brewer to learn on, as it holds a manageable sized batch and it’s available for a very affordable price.
Although this brew kettle is quite economical, it’s also made of high quality 202 stainless steel that is anything but cheap. The 0.5-mm thick sides and bottom are more than thick enough for this amount of liquid, and the riveted stainless steel handles on the kettle’s body make it easy to carry even when filled. This 5 gallon kettle can safely hold up to 3 gallons of wort while boiling, making it the perfect size for extract brewing right in your own home!
Features:
0.5mm thick stainless sides and bottom
10" H x 12.5" D
Riveted Handles on Kettle Body
Kettle Lid with riveted handle
5 gallon full capacity (3 gallons while boiling)
Perfect size for Extract Brewing!
Hot side hop additions should stay in the kettle and out of the fermenter. Keep all that hop matter from transferring out with your wort using this Adjustable Hop Filter. At 6" diameter and 14" tall, this unit will do well with even the hoppiest beers you brew. Conveniently hangs on the inside of your kettle so you can remove it at any point if needed. The adjustable hook is great for positioning the filter based on the size of your kettle and the volume of wort you're boiling. When fully extended, you can lower the basket an extra 9 inches into the kettle. The perfect filter for brewers that occasionally run a half batch using a large boil kettle. This is a great alternative to hop bags which have the potential to decrease hop utilization compared. While using this filter basket you can add hops directly to your kettle for maximum wort exposure.

Based off of one of the most exceptional east coast beers (in our humble opinion) on the market, this double IPA recipe instantly became one of our favorite ingredient kits! Our version of a Heady Topper clone recipe is packed with almost a pound of hops, and is definitely a beer that will have hopheads in hopheaven.
One of the first things we noticed when pouring this beer into the pint glass was the aroma. With a dry hop addition consisting of Apollo, Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe®, and Amarillo® hops, we weren't necessarily surprised. Impressed is more like it. A balanced malt profile helps to tame the bitterness, allowing the hop flavor and aroma to be the true star in this recipe.
If you're a fan of IPAs, double IPAs, or anything having to do with hops, this is one beer you need to brew!

Jonathan Plise has been making beer since the year 2000 - his first batch being a porter that was less than drinkable. He then spent the next few years researching and developing his recipes, fermentation regimen, and sanitation - Jonathan's most dramatic improvements came when he learned about oxygen and yeast starters. In 2006 he was awarded California Homebrewer of the Year sponsored by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Jonathan's Munich Helles is rich and complex. The malt is upfront and smooth, while being anchored by the low hop additions. He has won 9 awards with this recipe, including one Best of Show and a Gold at the NHC in 2005. Jonathan recommends White Labs WLP833 German Bock Yeast.

3.4g per gallon adjusts acidity by +.1%. It will lower pH less than will tartaric acid. Malic acid is the acid found in apples and is therefore the best choice for adjusting ciders. Malic is less sour than tartaric acid and can also be used to make acid adjustments in Rieslings, Gewurztraminer, and Muscat varieties, though many winemakers still prefer to use tartaric acid in these situations. You would not want to add Malic acid to any wine that will undergo a malolactic fermentation. As a note: only half of the artificially added malic acid will convert to lactic acid during a malolactic fermentation.

Build your own walk-in cooler with a standard A/C unit from any hardware or appliance store! The CoolBot enables A/C units to cool below their standard setting of 60°F, allowing you to use them as a low-cost refrigeration alternative Installs quickly with no tools or electrical know-how required—see the videos below! Perfect for turning rooms or storage sheds into a fermentation locker, keg room, wine cellar, food larder, and More!
A CoolBot allows a standard air conditioner to cool a room or space down to 35 degrees F. Installs with no tools or electrical knowledge required. Standard A/C units available from any hardware or appliance store have lots of power but they are electronically limited so that they cannot go below 60 degrees F. This is because they would freeze up. Commercial refrigeration for walk in coolers combat freeze with increased surface area on the fins as well as fans. Instead the Cool bot technology uses multiple sensors, a heating element and programmed micro-controller to control your air conditioner in such a way that the unit can go below 60F and not freeze up. The Coolbot cannot give you 100% of the btus listed on your air conditioner nor is suitable for large brewery or winery walk ins. It is perfect for wine cellars, beer storage, fermentation, etc. Easy to install within 30 minutes with no tools or electrical knowleged required. While we can't tell you exactly what size space you can cool because of ambient temperatures and insulation factors, we recommend you google Coolbot. They have sold over 50,000 of these so there are lots of reviews and actual installs out there. We offer free shipping on this unit, ship fast from both coasts, and have great customer service. This type of system is also very efficient. Most commercial systems are power hogs with large fans that are always running. Residential A/C units are made for efficiency. The Coolbot will also shut down the compressor for short time when the unit is running at its highest level of inneficiency, as it nears freeze up. Dims of the CoolBot are 6.5x3.5x1.5 in. Track your fermentation progress without ever disturbing your wort! The Tilt Hydrometer and Thermometer is added directly to your fermenter to provide real-time data on the current gravity and temperature of your wort, eliminating the hassle and potential contamination that comes from opening your fermenter to pull samples. The Tilt is especially useful for brewers fermenting in glass carboys or plastic fermenters that don't have spigots for sample taking. Designed for homebrewing, the Tilt hydrometer lets you instantly read your brew's specific gravity and temperature on your compatible Apple iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone/tablet or Tilt Pi. Most Bluetooth 4.0+ devices will work with the Tilt. You can then optionally log data to the cloud using their free Google Sheets template or other 3rd party cloud platforms. Tilt's goal is to help homebrewers brew better beer. The Tilt hydrometer allows you to check the specific gravity and temperature of your beer while it's fermenting, without ever having to open your fermenter or pour out any of your precious brew. This makes brewing more consistent and easier to track. Here are some of the new features of the Tilt: Range: Better reception and range. With the increased transmission power your Tilt will send data through larger, thicker-walled fermenters. Precision: Upgraded sensors. With an improved temperature sensor and accelerometer your Tilt will operate with more precision. Efficiency: Reduced power consumption so more brews, less battery changing. New Look: Newly designed custom circuit board and harness. If using multiple Tilt hydrometers for different batches of fermenting beer you must use a different color for each batch. The app will not read multiple hydrometers of the same color. Each Tilt comes calibrated and ready to go with a pre-installed battery that lasts 12-24 months depending on usage. Just download the free app, sanitize your Tilt, drop it in your fermenter, and start taking readings with your phone, tablet, or Tilt Pi. The specific gravity is accurate +/- 0.002 within the Tilt's range of 0.990 to 1.120. The thermometer is accurate +/- 1°F (+/- 0.5°C). Download the free Tilt app at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or get the free Tilt Pi download.

Acrylic is safe for long exposure to ABV up to 15%. It is safe up to 30% ABV for short periods of time (10 minutes or so). Not safe to expose acrylic to more than 30% ABV. Exceeding those limits will damage the Acrylic and could potentially leach into liquid. If you need to exceed these limits, we recommend using a stainless racking cane.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Derived from T-90 Citra® pellet hops to perfectly replicate the aroma profile while omitting undesirable compounds found in hop vegetal matter
Flavor/Aroma: Citrus, Woody, Tropical
The perfect hop: Using 100% hop-derived terpenes, Abstrax builds exact profiles to match the flavor and aroma of an exemplary lot of Citra® hops
Consistent results every time. Eliminates the variance of using hops that may differ by age, crop year, storage conditions, growing region, processing method or farm
Replace pellet hops: 5mL is equal to roughly 5.5 oz of pellet hops, while 1 oz of Quantum is equal to 2 lbs of pellet hops
Citra® Quantum Brite
There is no more successful hop in the modern history of beer than Citra®. Bred to bring balanced, spicy woodiness and citrus notes together with a high alpha backbone to create an instant classic.
Optimized Hop Extracts
Compared to other hop-extracts, the Quantum Series tastes better, performs better, and is easier to use. It works with everything from Pils to Porters with no special handling required. Easily flowable at cool, ambient, and warm temperatures. Gone are the days of warming up your extract or scrubbing the sticky gunk out of your equipment.
Compared to hops and pellets, the Quantum Series offers a 100% utilization rate and can be used at any stage of the brewing process. It cuts down on shipping and storage costs by an order of magnitude, not to mention the labor savings from not having to lug boxes around.
Quantum Tastes Better
The Quantum Series is an evolutionary leap forward in aroma and brewing technology. When you get down to it, nobody wants to use an extract product that makes their beer taste worse off. Extracts have taken a bad rap because they can often add more problems than they solve and, frankly, they don’t always taste the greatest. Abstrax gets it. That’s why, above all else, flavor and aroma come first with Quantum.
Dosage
Consider 1mL of Quantum Brite the flavor/aroma equivalent of 1 oz of T-90 pellet hops. Add after fermentation is complete, ideally at the coldest and latest point in your process, in your fermenter, keg, or bottling bucket. Or even add a drop or two to spike your finished beer in the glass.
Features:
100% efficient flavor/aroma transfer
Consistent from batch to batch
No yield loss from absorption
Quantum will not affect IBU test results and cannot cause lightstruck off-flavors
Zero Undesirable Plant Compounds
No Lipids
No Chlorophyll
Recommended storage: 40-90°F. Do not freeze.

Replacement pressure relief valve rated to blow at 35 psi. This is a direct replacement of the PRV featured on the FermZilla and Kegmenter. It is also compatible with homebrew kegs and the KOMOS® CO2 regulator if you desire a lower blowoff pressure.
In a traditional wort chiller, the coils rest on the bottom of the pot and the hot wort on top takes a very long time to reach them, making the entire process time consuming and inefficient. Our original, simple innovation for the Immersion Wort Chiller from MoreBeer! is to move the coils right to the top where the majority of the heat is. This promises to give you the fastest heat exchange possible, to cool your wort down more efficiently and to get your brew into the fermenter as quickly and cleanly as possible. There is also no need to stir during chilling which reduces contamination and allows your trub and spent hops to settle to the bottom of your kettle. The connection feeds on our chillers our bent out down at an angle so that if there is any dripping at the copper/vinyl connection point it drips out of the kettle and not back into your beer. Also works perfect with a kettle that features a notched lid. Made in the USA in our metal shop. Specs: 25' of 3/8" copper tubing 8' of vinyl tubing at both the inlet and the outlet Female garden hose adapter fitting for easy use with a garden hose spigot 10" diameter, 8" to the top coil, 15" to the bend to go over the lip of the kettle This chiller also comes in a water efficient version that uses less water.
WLP007 is a popular house strain for American breweries due to its clean profile and high attenuation Ideal for high gravity ales, American and English hoppy beers, as well as malty ambers, porters, and brown ales PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! Clean, highly flocculent, and highly attenuative yeast. This yeast is similar to WLP002 in flavor profile, but it is 10% more attenuative. This eliminates the residual sweetness, and makes the yeast well suited for high gravity ales. It is also reaches terminal gravity quickly. 80% attenuation can be reached even with 10% ABV beers. A recommended nutrient schedule is to add Servomyces to the kettle at the end of the boil, and then follow that with a 6 grams per 5 gallons addition of Fermaid K half-way through the fermentation. This nutrient schedule acts as a supplement to your yeast for exposure to high alcohols. Think of giving your yeast nutrients as having a water break while running the marathon. Attenuation: 70-80% Flocculation: Medium to High Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 65-70°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast.

This Oktoberfest beer recipe makes, in our slightly biased opinion, one of the best Oktoberfest beers out there! With a strong emphasis on the German malt flavor, it's sure to please anyone looking for a classic Oktoberfest beer. It is a copper-colored Lager that achieves that malt flavor with lots of Pilsner malt extract. The use of Caravienne and Caramunich malts contribute the copper color and a unique, subdued toffee/malt flavor. First-addition hops are Hallertauer, while finishing-hops are Czech Saaz.

OYL-021 is a classic German wheat strain presenting banana and clove
Esters turn up with increased temperatures, wort density and decreased pitch rate
Double pitch size with a minimum of 225 billion cells—twice the size of the standard yeast pitch
Proprietary propagation methods generate fresh, metabolically strong yeast cells and optimal biomass
Omega Yeast is founded on curiosity and innovation, expertly producing common workhorse varieties and many unique strains
Hefeweizen Ale I is a classic German wheat strain. It's a cloudy, big top cropper with the archetypical banana and clove character you expect in a hefe yeast. Ester notes turn up with increased fermentation temp, wort density and decreased pitch rate. Ferment at the lower end of its range to mute the ester expression and highlight notes of cloves. Over-pitching can lessen the banana, so plan accordingly. If you get a little too much sulfur, let the beer age longer and to condition out. See also Belgian Ale A (OYL-024) for an alternate complexity.
Attenuation: 73-77%
Flocculation: Low
Alcohol Tolerance: 10% ABV
Optimum Fermentation Temp: 64-75°F
Cell Count: 225 Billion
Strain Type: Ales

132-170 °L - Viking Malt - Viking Chocolate Light Malt is produced by roasting from pilsner malt. The amylolytic activity of Chocolate Malt is zero. The amount of fermentable extract is rather low. "Chocolate" refers primarily to the malt's color, not its flavor. This malt will lend various levels of aroma, a deep red color, and a nutty / roasted taste, depending on the amount used. Aromas and tastes of coffee and chocolate can be found and they are well balancing the overall taste.
Chocolate Malt is mainly included in Porters and Stouts, but it can also be used for any other dark colored beers like Dark Ales due to its strong coloring value. Chocolate Malt contributes roasted flavors and aromas with hints of dark chocolate and coffee in any beer. Already with rather low dosage portions a remarkable increase in color can be found together with changes in flavor and aroma. Typical dosage rate of Chocolate Malt is normally under 5–10%.
