Using the WineEasy™ combined fermentor and press is admittedly different than anything on the market, but is incredibly easy to use and provides results and ease of use that traditional fermenting and pressing techniques simply can't offer.
At the heart of the system is a high quality stainless primary fermentor (20, 30 and 55 gal sizes). A uniquely designed false bottom located at the bottom of the fermentor allows the pomace to be separated from the wine while draining the unit. The tines on the pressure plate support the bottom of the fermentor and perforated false bottom and keep it from collapsing from the pressure imparted by the vacuum pump.
After alcoholic fermentation, the free run is drained or pumped out of the fermentor. The sliding piston assembly is then installed. The vacuum pump evacuates the carboy (or other vacuum capable vessel) and applies a vacuum under the false bottom of the WineEasy fermentor. This causes atmospheric pressure to push down on the sliding piston pressing the pomace to the ideal maximum pressure of 14 PSI to avoid hard press conditions.
Since this is all done without transferring the pomace to a press, and is done so in a completely closed and air tight system, oxidation and contamination are virtually eliminated.
Cleanup is as easy as scooping out the dry pomace into a container and washing out the high polish stainless steel fermentor!
Features:
No messy transfers to a secondary fermentor
Less risk of contamination and oxidation
Great press efficiency
Fast
Easy to use
Simple mess-free cleanup
Produce consistently superb wines
Please Note: This 20 gallon Wine Easy requires at least 6.6 gallons of must to press effectively.

This is the WineEasy Vacuum Press Kit which hooks up to your WineEasy Fermentor when ready to press. After draining some free-run, the pump is hooked up, creating a vacuum in an intermediate carboy, which will then start drawing wine from your Fermentor. This method of pressing is extremely gentle, and has no risk of over-extraction, as the maximum achievable pressure will be that of the atmosphere (~14 psi).
The Vacuum Press Kit can be used with any size WineEasy. As such, you will only need one Vacuum Press Kit, regardless of size or quantity of WineEasy Fermentors you may own!
On top of this product's use in pressing, the Vacuum Press Kit can also be used to degas wine!

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.
5 °L - Briess Malting - light roast and mild sweetness flavor. This malt adds a creamy mouthfeel to the finished beer, and imparts a light blonde to golden color depending on usage level. Perfect for Stouts, Scotch Ales, Brown Ales, New England IPAs and any other beer where enhanced mouthfeel and toasty, oaty flavor is desired. Suggested usage level is 10 - 30% of the malt bill.
10% of malt bill - imparts light blonde hue. Subtle nutty and toasty aroma with notes of breakfast cereal.
20% of malt bill - imparts blonde hue. Roasted oat aroma with delicate toasty malt character and creamy mouthfeel.
30% of malt bill - imparts golden blonde hue. Pronounced toast oat aroma and roasted character. Full viscous body

This sticky, sweet nectar of the Agave plant is a fantastic way to experiment with different flavors in your meads and beers. It has a malty aroma with a hint of sweetness to it. One of the great things about Agave Extract is that it won't crystalize like honey will, so it maintains a smooth, liquid-like consistency. Notes of molasses come out when tasting it. The extract is light in color, and in addition to being fermented, many people use Agave extract as a sweetener in foods. And due to its low glycemic index, it is a great alternative to sugar for diabetics.
Organic, non-GMO, and allergen-free.
This clever drainer takes the hard work out of draining & drying out your carboy!
The Blue Carboy Drainer is a great way to drain your carboys without having to hold them upside down the entire time. It holds the carboy for you, in an inverted position, while the liquid drains. As a bonus, as long as your sanitized carboy is held upside down, it will remain sanitary and ready to fill. The mouth of the carboy is close to the ground resulting in a bit longer drying time than with other drainers, if you are using it for drying.
Please note that carboys fitted with neck handles will not fit in this drainer.
Common juniper is a small evergreen tree that is related to cedar, cypress and other conifers. The mature, dark-colored cones, or berries, are used to lend a slightly citrus and pine-like flavor to foods and beverages. In Northern Europe, juniper berries are used as a spice to season game meats and sauerkraut, as well as beer. The berries are also the key flavoring agent in gin. Available in 1 oz and 16 oz bags.
Commercial quality beer bottle caps to keep your brew safe and sound from bottling day until you're ready to enjoy it. You will get a good firm seal that will last through transport, gift giving, and storage with these blue bottle caps. These bottle caps crimp down onto the beer bottle and make a firm seal. They don’t rust or leak and they contain an Oxygen absorbing agent in the liner, which means you won’t get any unwanted oxidation. A good value for a great product.
26 mm diameter caps fit American bottles. Some imported bottles and some sparkling wine bottles use a 29 mm cap instead. We recommend test fitting prior to filling if you're re-using an imported bottle.
Important to note: It is recommended that you only sanitize as many caps as you'll require at the time of bottling. The oxygen-absorbing agent is activated when the cap gets wet. If wetted caps are saved for later use, they'll still function as a normal cap, but the oxygen absorbing agent may be depleted.
The VineCo Niagara Mist lineup offers a crisp, easy-drinking alternative to more traditional winemaking kits. These fruit-forward wine kits are all about capturing the refreshing essence of juicy ripe fruit. Light and crisp and offered in a full assortment of reds, whites, and rosés. Niagara Mist wines are easily enjoyed on their own, but also work well as the base for punches or wine spritzers.

BM 4x4 is a new yeast blend created by Lallemand, designed to provide all of the benefits and flavors of the BM45 yeast strain, along with a much more reliable and consistent fermentation. This means that you'll be getting all of the flavors of jam, rose petals, and cherry liquor with a stronger fermentation with less risk of a stuck or sluggish fermentation. This is a blend between the traditional BM45 and a complimentary strain, chosen for its fermentation kinetics. Positive interaction between these strains means a more dependable fermentation, along with increased aromatic intensity, color intensity, and length of finish. Ideal fermentation temperature is between 64-82°F. This strain will enhance varietal character, and mouthfeel in a wine. Alcohol tolerance is 15%. Download the PDF Download the PDF
A great yeast for making traditional Italian Style wines. BM45 Brunello Dry Wine Yeast is an Italian isolate that is recommended for Sangiovese and extended maceration wines. It is a slow starter and moderate fermenter. BM45 has high nutritional needs; it should be used in conjunction with Go-Ferm (AD342) and Fermaid K (AD345) in order to minimize H2S production. In red wines, BM45 brings out aromas described as fruit jams, rose petals and cherry liqueur, with notes of sweet spices, licorice and cedar. It should be noted that BM45 may produce a "gamey" quality immediately post alcoholic fermentation, that will age out in about 6 months. Best results from 64 to 82 degrees F, with an alcohol tolerance up to 16%. Download the PDF Download the PDF
If you're looking to spice up your next batch of porter or stout, look no further than the ever-tantalizing Boadicea hops. With just enough alpha acids to provide a round bitterness, Boadicea will contribute a lovely earthiness and floral character with a hint of spice and resin. While you may instinctively reach for the British Kent Goldings (BKG) when it's time to brew an English-style pale or IPA, we highly recommend giving this humble hedgerow hop from the UK a shake. Typically added late in the boil or during dry hop. Boadicea was first bred by Peter Darby at Horticulture Research International at Wye College in Kent, England where it was hailed as the world's first hop variety to be naturally resistant to aphids.

Are you ready for unbelievably rich and flavorful coffee? The french press (or "cafetiere" in the UK, and "plunger" in Australia) is considered by many to provide the quintessential coffee drinking experience.
Because the water is always in direct contact with the coffee grounds, essential oils and flavor compounds normally left behind in the paper filter remain in the coffee. After pushing down the stainless steel plunger/screen, you are left with an incredibly robust, remarkably flavorful, and richly aromatic cup of coffee.
We recommend using a courser grind setting for your beans so that the screen is able to remove the majority of coffee solids.
Features a polypropylene handle, with borosilicate glass and a stainless plunging/filtering system. It has a domed lid to seal in the aroma and maintain temperature. 8-cup french presses are ideal for serving 2-4 people. As with all of our french presses, it is completely dishwasher safe.
