All-Grain Beer Recipe Kits

Are you looking for an all-grain homebrew recipe? If so you came to the right place! We have over 200 beer recipe kits to choose from. All of our brewing kits come with the freshest ingredients and the grain is available either milled or unmilled.

All-Grain vs Extract Beer Kits

All-grain beer recipes are made exclusively from grain without the use of malt extracts. All Grain Beer Recipe Kits differ from malt extract recipe kits or mini mash kits in that the home brewer employs the practice of mashing. Mashing is the process where malted grains are soaked in hot water. The heat activates naturally present enzymes that then convert starch to sugars. You then rinse the sugar out to create your sweet wort. All Grain beer recipe kits are available for ales, lagers and specialty beers. Check out our selection of affordable All-Grain Brewing Systems. Find out more about the advantages of an all-grain brew and order a kit today from MoreBeer!

  • Kit (All-Grain) - The Ron Mexico Pale Ale - PLACEHOLDER Kit (All-Grain) - The Ron Mexico Pale Ale - PLACEHOLDER

Ron Mexico Pale Ale | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    2 reviews

When we first got our hands on experimental hop HBC 438 (nicknamed Ron Mexico and now known as Sabro™) we couldn't wait to design a recipe around it Includes Magnum and Sabro™ hops Estimated ABV: 4.6% Estimated IBUs: 53-57 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer The next hot hop? This delicious Pale Ale is based on new experimental hop, HBC438, that has the unofficial name of  Ron Mexico due to its native US neomexicanus  hop heritage. This hop has enticing aromas of stone and tropical fruit, orange, mint, and herbal characteristics.  Vinnie from Russian River Brewing (of Pliny fame) used this hop in an experimental beer brewed for the National Homebrewers Conference and also recently raved about this hop in a talk we attended. The story of this hop is really unique. Traditionally hop breeders finish the testing of experimental hops internally and then release to the commercial market. Now they are turning the tables and trying something new!  HBC 438 is being released EXCLUSIVELY to the Homebrewing community first. Then in the future, as more is grown, they will release it to commercial brewers. So the tables are flipped - Pro brewers will be reading your reviews and seeing what you thought of the hottest new hop.  What is also cool is that all proceeds from the sales of these hops go to ALS.net and help fund the ALS Therapy Development Institute, the world's largest non-profit biotech focused entirely on ALS Research.  Our take on a Ron Mexico pale includes some acid malt and carapils for body, crystal 60 for color and richness, and Rahr Two-Row for a great malty base. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.045-1.049 SRM (Color Range): 6-8 IBUs: 53-57 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 4.5-4.7% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends! Their flagship show, The Sunday Session, was the first live show about homwebrewing and craftbrewing on the internet. Chad Moshier, the stations producer, created this brown ale as an easy-drinking session beer, and became a cult favorite on the show. Chad relocated to California from Connecticut, and hooked up with Justin, the founder of The Brewing Network. While Chad had tried homebrewing before and "didn't have much luck at it", he jumped right in and has brewed every week for the last three years! Chad says, "I enjoy brewing all styles but have a soft spot for hoppy beers, there is nothing like sharing and enjoying your own brew at home!" We think he's on to something ... • Low stock! Kit (All Grain) - White Koji Ale - Proper Sake - PLACEHOLDER Kit (All Grain) - White Koji Ale - Proper Sake - PLACEHOLDER

Proper Sake Co. White Koji Ale | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    1 review

This BrewMaster Series kit was scaled down to a homebrew batch size in collaboration with the brewmasters at Proper Sake Co. An incredibly crushable light pale ale made with White Koji. Refreshing and citrusy Includes Cascade and Huell Melon hops Estimated ABV: 5.5% Estimated IBUs: 12 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Whether you're in constant search of new ways to push the "traditional boundaries" of brewing, or you're just looking for another crushable crowd pleaser to add to your arsenal of recipes, Proper Sake's White Koji Ale is the beer for you. As the name implies, this recipe is crafted around the specialty ingredient of White Koji. Koji is a staple ingredient in the fermentation processes for sake, soy sauce, miso, and more. But White Koji, in particular, is gaining ground as a new brewing ingredient which can impart a beautiful citric acidity in the final beer. This recipe from Proper Sake Co. results in an incredibly crushable light pale ale with a slight haze in the glass. The malt character will hang in the background as Cascade and Huell Melon support the overall refreshing, citrusy quality enhanced by the White Koji. Our friends at Proper Sake Co. are specialists in Kimoto and Yamahai sake production—and have been known to apply their fermentation knowledge to a beer or two. Next time you find yourself in Nashville, TN, pop into Rice Vice bar to sample from their amazing selection of sake. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.052-57 SRM (Color Range): 4 IBUs: 12 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 5.5% Please note: Your printed recipe sheet may reference 20 oz of White Koji in the "Recipe Tips" section. • Kit (All Grain) - Phantasm Hazy DIPA - PLACEHOLDER Kit (All Grain) - Phantasm Hazy DIPA - PLACEHOLDER

Phantasm Hazy DIPA | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

Our Phantasm Powder hazy recipes are bursting with a tropical bouquet complimented by a choice selection of New Zealand and Pacific Northwest hops Includes Mosaic®, Amarillo®, Cascade, Talus®, Vic Secret, Strata, Idaho 7®, Riwaka™, and Sabro™ hops Estimated ABV: 8.2% Estimated IBUs: 42 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer If you're hearing ghostly tales whispered around your local homebrew shop, there's no need to pile your brew crew into the hippy van—this one is no mystery. Phantasm Powder has been causing quite a stir on the craft beer scene, and the buzz is well deserved. Adding this powder to your wort and fermenting it with a thiolized yeast strain is one of the easiest ways to boost tropical flavor and aroma in your finished beer. Derived from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Grapes, this powder will add a concentrated dose of thiol precursors. During fermentation, yeast will go to work on these aroma compounds and "free the thiol", boosting the tropical bouquet of your beer to supernatural levels. We're stoked to get this cutting-edge ingredient into the hands of homebrewers so we designed a series of Phantasm recipe kits that will set you up to take full advantage of brewing with Phantasm Powder. Our Phantasm Hazy Double IPA includes 10 ounces of aroma hop additions from whirlpool to biotransformation to post fermentation, leaning on some choice New Zealand and American varietals and turns it up a notch with two additions of Cryo Hops® for an extra concentrated kick of hoppy goodness. Since this kit series is all about the thiols, we start with whole cone Mosaic in the mash to further increase the thiol precursors. Add the Phantasm Powder at flameout along with your whirlpool / hop stand additions. For maximum effect, we highly recommend choosing a thiolized yeast strain for fermentation which are specifically designed to boost thiol biotransformation. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.075-80 SRM (Color Range): 4-5 IBUs: 42 Estimated Original Gravity: 8.2% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. • Kit (All-Grain) - Frank Ellis - PLACEHOLDER Kit (All-Grain) - Frank Ellis - PLACEHOLDER

Pale Ale by Frank Ellis | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends! This recipe displays the malt, alcohol and hoppiness of an IPA but with the bitterness of a Pale Ale Includes Willamette and Cascade hops Estimated ABV: 5.8% Estimated IBUs: 39-42 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer The legendary Frank Ellis, Grandfather of our Signature Series Kits, brings you his over the top Pale Ale with an amazing 7 oz of hops and 9 lbs of malt extract. It has the malt, alcohol and hoppiness of an IPA but the bitterness of a Pale Ale. Frank started with our American Pale Ale II, KIT250 – but this wasn’t enough flavor for Frank. So he added one pound of malt extract, more finish hops, followed by... yet more finish hops! The resulting flavor is malty with plenty of hop flavor, courtesy of the copious amounts of Cascade and Willamette hops. One day while  on the phone placing an order with us, Frank got tired of having to make these additions to our existing KIT250 so he asked why he couldn’t have his own kit to cut down on confusion. He was absolutely right!  So the series was born! When you are drinking any of the Signature Series recipes, raise your glass and give a virtual cheers to fellow homebrewer Frank Ellis in Missouri for the good idea. Frank has brewed his own kit an amazing 62 times over the last decade! Frank recommends using White Labs California yeast, WLP001 or Wyeast American, WY1056. IPA II BKG Bomb | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    2 reviews

German malts and English hops collide. BKG Bomb is a far cry from today's modern, citrus-forward IPAs Includes Magnum and British Kent Goldings hops Estimated ABV: 7.2% Estimated IBUs: 84-88 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Where do German Malts and English Hops exist side by side in peace and unlikely harmony.  In our BKG Bomb of an IPA!  This big brusing beer, with an amazing mouth feel from copius amounts of German Munich Malt, is big on deep malt flavor and big on alcohol. It is the antithesis of todays super citrusy hopped, pale colored IPAs.  This is all about malt, malt, malt and how British Kent Goldings (BKG) hops blend  oh so well with a malt heavy beer.  British Kent Goldings are the most prized ale hops in England and known for their subtle nature and floral aromas that really compliment malt flavors. Do you need a little extra sustenance to make it through the winter? Do you like to slice your beer with a knife? Do you need a break from over-the-top hopped IPA's? If you answered yes to any of these questions, The BKG Bomb IPA II should be your next  beer. Features 10 lbs of German Munich Malt and 3 lbs of American Pale. As if that was not enough we also include some Carapils for body building.  The 4 oz of British Kent Golding hops in the finish provided for a unique and authentic English flavor. Bittered with 2oz of Magnum hops for a firm bitterness to stand up to all the malt. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.073-77 SRM (Color Range): 12 IBUs: 84-88 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 7.2% (Makes 5 gallons) Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. The Citra® Single Hop Experiment | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    2 reviews

Our Single Hop Experiment series is the perfect way to learn the characteristics of individual hop varietals Includes a small bittering addition of Magnum and three 2 oz additions of your chosen hop for late boil and at dry hopping Estimated ABV: 5% Estimated IBUs: 35 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: 2-Row, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Ever wanted to know what your favorite hop really is? Brew a few of these different Single Hop Experiment recipes to find out! Estimated Original Gravity:1.049-54 SRM (Color Range): 7-8 IBU's: 35 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 5% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. Odiferous Brown Holiday Brew by Kyle | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    1 review

Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends! This recipe makes a delicious brew with big body, rich malt, and a complex spice blend of All-Spice, Cloves, Nutmeg, Saigon Cinnamon, and Ginger Includes Perle and Northern Brewer hops Estimated ABV: 6.8% Estimated IBUs: 23-27 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer A few years ago we had a competition in our showrooms for the best Holiday Beer. The winner was an unknown brewer named Kyle Sommers. We actually hired Kyle following the competition to work in our customer service office(see where good homebrew will get you!) In 2010 Kyle graduated from the Siebel Institute to continue his dream of becoming a professional Brewmaster. He is now brewing at Lagunitas.  We loved the big body, rich malt, and the extremely complex spice blend. When we went to make the recipe for sale we thought twice because we had to buy out the spice section of our local grocer. Based on a Northern English style Brown Ale, it has 6 different spices added at two different times in the brewing and fermentation process, resembling and inspired by a Belgian-style winter beer. This winter warmer will make your kitchen smell like Thanksgiving Day at Grandma's house. With some added Belgian brown sugar to counter-balance the spice and add some alcohol content, this is a great way to top off your Holiday adventures by the fireside. If you are a firm believer in the Reinheitsgebot (no spices, sugar, etc.), this is not the beer for you! Kyle suggests using White Labs English Ale yeast, WLP002 Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.066-70 SRM (Color Range): 21 IBUs: 23-27 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 6.8%     Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”.  For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All grains will come milled, unless you select unmilled base malts.
