The ultimate control & precision of your fermentation process. Equipped with four built-in temperature controllers and pumps, this advanced chiller enables you to independently regulate the temperature of multiple separate fermentation vessels simultaneously, ensuring optimal conditions for different batches or styles of beer, making it a game-changer for homebrewers.
4 Built-in pumps and digital controllers
Control multiple fermentation temperatures independently Fill with 20% glycol solution for optimal chilling performance Cold crash with good insulation Perfect complement to BrewBuilt X-Series Conicals The IceMaster Max 4 is designed to cool fermentations in small vessels. It features 4 built-in submersible pumps with independent digital temperature controllers and can be used with any vessel that has a glycol jacket or submersed cooling coil/rod. Each controller includes a temperature probe that should be inserted into a thermowell in your vessel or can be taped to the outside of the vessel if you don't have a thermowell. The digital controller then measures the temperature of your tank and turns the submersible pump on or off to cool to your desired set temperature. Up to four tanks can be controlled separately with one IceMaster Max 4. Compatibility The IceMaster can be used with any fermenter that has a built-in cooling jacket, added CoolStix, or a submersed cooling coil. It works well as the cooling source for the following systems and fermenters. BrewBuilt Jacketed Uni Conical - we recommend one Insulated Tubing Kit for each tank. These kits feature "dry break" quick disconnects that prevent glycol loss and the insulated tubing will increase chilling efficiency and eliminate line sweating from condensation. CoolStix - CoolStix can be added to a wide range of carboys, fermenters, and tanks and the IceMaster works really well in combination. Each CoolStix is available with or without a pump kit; for use with the IceMaster Max 4 you will only need the CoolStix and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Ss Brewtech Fermenters and Brites - Ss BME Chronicals, BME Brites, and Unitanks come with cooling coils and neoprene as standard. The optional chilling FTSs will not be needed for use with the Max 4. The cooling coil for standard Ss Chronicals and Brew Buckets are not sold a la carte and must be purchased with a submersible pump, which is not needed for the Max 4. For standard Chronicals and Brew Buckets you might consider the IceMaster 100 for cost savings. Spike Conical with Optional Cooling Coil - the cooling coil for Spike CF series conicals is available for purchase independently from the TC-100 cooling system. For use with the Max 4 you will only need the coil and some tubing to connect it to the chiller. Speidel Tanks with Optional Cooling Jackets - You will need two lengths of tubing to connect the chiller to each tank. Grainfather Fermenters - Grainfather fermenters have standard cooling jackets. You will need two lengths of tubing for each fermenter. Blichmann Fermenators with Optional Cooling Coil - You will need two lengths of tubing for each Fermenator. Capacity It is always difficult to determine exactly how many tanks can be chilled at one time as it depends on what is happening in each tank, if the tank is insulated, and what the ambient temperature is. Cold crashing always requires the most energy and requires tank insulation. We have experimented with capacities and can provide this general guide based on a 75°F ambient and neoprene insulation. Neoprene provides a modest amount of insulation so you would obtain better results using Armaflex or a higher R rated insulation. Capacity calculated at cold crashing to a target temperature of 38°F while the ambient temperature is 75°F with neoprene insulation (double tank capacity for ale fermentation temperature control): 2 - 1BBL (31 Gallon) Jacketed Tank 2 - 1/2BBL (15-20 Gallon) Tanks 3 - 10-14 Gallon Tanks 4 - 5-7 Gallon Tanks Set Up In order to hook up the IceMaster to your fermenter or tank's cooling system, you will need 2 lengths of tubing per vessel. All tubing connections should be secured with hose clamps. Length 1: Barb of 1st bulkhead (IN) to cooling system outlet

Build your own walk-in cooler with a standard A/C unit from any hardware or appliance store! The CoolBot enables A/C units to cool below their standard setting of 60°F, allowing you to use them as a low-cost refrigeration alternative Installs quickly with no tools or electrical know-how required—see the videos below! Perfect for turning rooms or storage sheds into a fermentation locker, keg room, wine cellar, food larder, and More!
A CoolBot allows a standard air conditioner to cool a room or space down to 35 degrees F. Installs with no tools or electrical knowledge required. Standard A/C units available from any hardware or appliance store have lots of power but they are electronically limited so that they cannot go below 60 degrees F. This is because they would freeze up. Commercial refrigeration for walk in coolers combat freeze with increased surface area on the fins as well as fans. Instead the Cool bot technology uses multiple sensors, a heating element and programmed micro-controller to control your air conditioner in such a way that the unit can go below 60F and not freeze up. The Coolbot cannot give you 100% of the btus listed on your air conditioner nor is suitable for large brewery or winery walk ins. It is perfect for wine cellars, beer storage, fermentation, etc. Easy to install within 30 minutes with no tools or electrical knowleged required. While we can't tell you exactly what size space you can cool because of ambient temperatures and insulation factors, we recommend you google Coolbot. They have sold over 50,000 of these so there are lots of reviews and actual installs out there. We offer free shipping on this unit, ship fast from both coasts, and have great customer service. This type of system is also very efficient. Most commercial systems are power hogs with large fans that are always running. Residential A/C units are made for efficiency. The Coolbot will also shut down the compressor for short time when the unit is running at its highest level of inneficiency, as it nears freeze up. Dims of the CoolBot are 6.5x3.5x1.5 in. The German made 1.2 horse power MB Chiller is an ideal solution for nano breweries looking to chill up to 10 fermenters at once. The idea of the MiniChilly is that for each fermenter you want to a chill a pump kit is added. A pump kit (GLY35) includes a submersible pump that is placed in the cold bath of the Mini Chilly along with a digital controller that is placed next to your fermenter. Silicone tubing is included to make the connections. The digital controller includes a thermal probe that should be inserted into a thermal well in your vessel or can be taped to the outside of the vessel if you don't have a thermal well. The digital controller then measures the temperature of your tank and turns the submersible pump on or off to cool the liquid in your vessel to the desired set temperature. In this way each tank can be set at different temperatures. The MiniChilly is made by Quantor/Kreyer of Germany who is the largest manufacturer of glycol systems for breweries and wineries in the world. Made with high quality manufacturing and components, the MiniChilly is a durable system for many years of problem-free brewing. It is German made and we guarantee you will appreciate the build quality when compared to other chillers on the market. The unit features a stainless steel case with stainless 3/8" barbs in the top that allow for a clean connection of the silicone tubing that will run from each pump to each tank. The MiniChilly is able to chill its reservoir down to 21°F when a 30% glycol solution is used. The compact size and included casters make it easy to move around the brewery when needed. Applications: Cooling of Fermentation Cold Crashing for Brite Tanks Maintain Lagering Temperatures Compatibility: The MiniChilly can be used with any fermenter that has a built-in cooling jacket or a submersed cooling coil. It works well as the cooling source for the following systems and fermenters. BrewBuilt Jacketed Uni Conical - You will need one Glycol Pump Kit for each tank. Ss Brewtech Fermenters and Brites with optional FTS Temperature Control Systems: Because FTS systems include a pump and controller you will not need to buy a separate Glycol Pump Kit. Spike Conical with Optional Cooling Package - Because the optional Spike cooling system includes a pump and controller you will not need to buy a separate Glycol Pump Kit. Speidel Tanks with Optional Cooling Jackets - You will need one Glycol Pump Kit for each tank. Grainfather Fermenters - Grainfather fermenters have standard cooling jackets. You will need one Glycol Pump Kit for each fermenter Blichmann Fermenators with Optional Cooling Coil - You will need one Glycol Pump Kit for each Fermenator. Capacity: Many chiller ratings are based on the theoretical power of the compressor, while the cooling capacity of the MiniChilly is rated at a realistic ambient temperature. This is much more useful for predicting the MiniChilly’s performance in real world applications. Of course, you could cool a greater number of smaller tanks but you’re ultimately limited to the 10 connections. Actual cooling capacities will vary based on the insulation of the tank. For the examples below we assume neoprene or better. Cooling Capacity Example: Up to 10 1BBL (31 Gallon) well-insulated tanks fermenting at 68°F in 80°F ambient temperature. For every fermenter you want to cold crash remove 4 fermenting fermenters from the capacity. Set Up: In order to hook up the MiniChilly to your fermenter or tank's cooling system, you will need 4 lengths of tubing per pump. All tubing connections should be secured with hose clamps. Length 1: Submersible pump outlet to inner barb of 1st bulkhead Length 2: Outer barb of 1st bulkhead to cooling system inlet Length 3: Cooling system outlet to outer barb of 2nd bulkhead Length 4: Inner barb of 2nd bulkhead to MiniChilly reservoir (should drain freely, no connection necessary) Technical Characteristics:

The IceMaster Max 2 is designed to cool fermentations in small vessels. It features 2 built-in submersible pumps with independent digital temperature controllers and can be used with any vessel that has a glycol jacket or submersed cooling coil/rod. Each controller includes a temperature probe that should be inserted into a thermowell in your vessel or can be taped to the outside of the vessel if you don't have a thermowell. The digital controller then measures the temperature of your tank and turns the submersible pump on or off to cool to your desired set temperature. Up to two tanks can be controlled separately with one IceMaster Max 2.
The Max 2 is the perfect unit for brewers with 1 or 2 fermentation vessels. The IceMaster 100 and IceMaster Max 4 are terrific chillers, but for they have far more cooling capacity than the average homebrewer needs. The Max 2 is the most affordable glycol chiller we offer, and thanks to the built-in submersible pumps and controllers, there's no need to purchase additional pump kits to use with your cooling system(s).
Compatibility
The IceMaster can be used with any fermenter that has a built-in cooling jacket, added CoolStix, or a submersed cooling coil. It works well as the cooling source for the following systems and fermenters.

The Johnson digital temperature controller is used to control the temperature of a refrigerator, or similar cooling or heating device. Enter your desired temperature, called set point, and how tightly you want your temperature maintained, called differential, and let the controller do the rest.
Ranco Vrs. Johnson
This Johnson digital temperature controller is very similar to our popular Ranco brand controller (FE610) in application and appearance. The advantage of the Ranco is being able to switch between cooling and and heating from the digital interface, while with the Johnson you have to take the cover off and physically remove a jumper. The advantage of the Johnson is the very attractive price.
For technical aficionados the Johnson does have a feature called Anti-Short Cycle Delay. Cycling is the rapid turning off and on of an electrical device. Over time cycling can harm your appliance. The Johnson controller allows you to set a time interval, in minutes, that keeps the controller from turning on right after it shuts off no matter what the temperature reading is. This can be very useful when you are using a 1 degree of differential setting for tight control but want your compressor or power supply to have a minimum time period of rest before it turns back on. Temperature Range of -40 to 212F.

Build your own walk-in cooler with a standard A/C unit from any hardware or appliance store!
The CoolBot enables A/C units to cool below their standard setting of 60°F, allowing you to use them as a low-cost refrigeration alternative
WiFi connectivity allows you to monitor and control your cold room from a smartphone with the free mobile app
Installs quickly with no tools or electrical know-how required—see the videos below!
Perfect for turning rooms or storage sheds into a fermentation locker, keg room, wine cellar, food larder, and More!
The CoolBot Pro brings you all the great features of the standard CoolBot with added WiFi connectivity, allowing you to monitor and control your cold room from your smartphone through the free mobile app. The CoolBot Pro enables a standard air conditioner to cool a room or space down to 34°F. Easily installs with no tools or electrical knowledge required.
The CoolBot Pro comes paired with the Jumper WiFi relay module, which installs on the outside of your cold room. Once the jumper is connected to your wireless network, you can use the free mobile app to control your CoolBot from virtually anywhere with a WiFi connection. Monitor your cold room remotely, adjust temperatures on the fly, or program the app to send you notifications if something is amiss. Whether you're on the go during a busy work week or taking some well-earned R&R, CoolBot Pro has your back!
Standard A/C units available from any hardware or appliance store have lots of power, but they are electronically restricted to not go below 60°F. This is because they would freeze up. Commercial refrigeration for walk-in coolers combat freeze with increased surface area on the fins and fans. Instead the CoolBot technology uses multiple sensors, a heating element and programmed micro-controller to control your air conditioner in such a way that the unit can go below 60°F and not freeze up. The CoolBot cannot give you 100% of the BTUs listed on your air conditioner, nor is suitable for large brewery or winery walk-ins. But it is perfect for wine cellars, beer storage, fermentation, and many other applications.
Easy to install within 30 minutes with no tools or electrical knowledge required.
The CoolBot Pro will also shut down the compressor for a short time when the unit is running at its highest level of inefficiency, as it nears freeze up.
Features:
Trusted CoolBot technology now with WiFi connectivity and mobile app
Allows a standard window air conditioner to cool a room to 34°F
Interactive refrigeration for Brewing, Winemaking, Restaurants, Agricultural Purposes & More
Mobile app: remote temperature reading and adjustments, receive critical alerts, data storage and reporting

Use this analog unit to control the temperature of a refrigerator, freezer, or air conditioner. It enables you to ferment and store beer at correct temperatures when the ambient room temperature is too warm.
Your electrical cooling device plugs into this unit which plugs into the outlet. A remote sensor connected by a small capillary tube monitors temperatures. If the temperature rises above your set point, the cooling device is turned on.
The unit features a 4 degree swing to help extend the life of the cooling unit's compressor. For example, if you had it set at 68 degrees, it would turn on at 68 degrees and go to 64 degrees before turning off. The unit has the potential to regulate temperature from 20 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
The sensor tube can be inserted into a refrigerator or freezer, and still allows the door gasket to seal tight. Temperature Range of 20 to 80F.
This Johnson unit can handle 15 amps or 1725 watts at 115 volts AC.

Pre-cut mounting holes allow you to hang the controller on your brew stand on the wall at eye-level. We highly recommend mounting the controller so you don't have to worry about keeping an area of your table dry where you might lay it down. L6-30 connections with 4 ft. cords on either end. Compatible with all 208-240V elements 30 amps and lower. While L6-30 are the most common elements available, yours may need an adapter. Uses a 9' stainless braided PT-100 temperature sensor.
The HLT Controller includes a contactor to fully shut off both legs when you throw the power switch, making the free end of the cord safer when the element is not plugged in.
If you'd prefer not to mount the controller to your wall, consider the stainless steel Controller Stand.
**Caution: In order to avoid injury or death we strongly recommend using a GFCI in any circuit used near water. You can find one here.**
This amazing product is an ideal companion with Blichmann’s revolutionary BoilCoil™ immersion heaters, but it’ll also work with all manufacturer’s immersion heaters! Blichmann’s unique modular power controller lets you precisely control the power of your electric heating element from 0-100% power. Need to control more than one heating element for large kettles? Simply add up to 4 additional relay modules and drive them all with one power controller. Unlike cheap "dimmer switch" based power controllers, whose power output is not linear, the modular power controller is much easier to control the perfect boil intensity and heating rate. This is accomplished using a tried and true industrial technique called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). Simply put, it controls the percentage of time the heater is energized over a very short 1 sec interval. So turning the knob to “6” energizes the heater for 0.6 seconds, and turns it off for the remainder of the 1 sec interval. This robust reliable technique is gentle on your heater, is extremely linear, and doesn’t create electrical noise like other techniques can. See below for other great features.
