Since the 7 gallon brew bucket fits on the digiboil and I basically am using my digiboil as a HLT I figured out I can use this coil as a HERMS coil AND a temp control coil in my brew bucket since they share the same lid. I didn't want to drill any holes in the side of my digiboil so I punched some holes in my brew bucket lid added some 3/8 compression to 1/2" NPT fittings and was able to make a multifunctional lid! Brewed my first batch yesterday and it was a successful test!

Love this cooling coil. It fits perfectly in my speidel 30L fermenter. Hooked it up to a pump in an ice chest and a temp controlled outlet. Keeps my beer at whatever temp I need.

I got a glycol chiller recently and the cooling jacket was too small to wrap it completely. I shortened the pipes a bit with a pipe cutter and drilled some holes into the Speidel lid to install it. It works perfectly!

This worked so much better than I'd imagined. I have it hooked up to my Ink Bird temp controller and cold crashing my beer was a breeze.

Coupled with the Fermzilla 30L, temp control is a breeze. I use a lot of Kveik and 95-100F fermentations is easy even in a freezing cold garage! I'll prob use these no matter what time of year.

Great cooling coil at a great price. Bulkhead fittings are great bonus

This chiller can cool 11 gallons of wort at 1 degree F a minute or better. With a Fermzilla jacket, it had no problem maintaining 67F in a 90F garage using an Inkbird/pump combo with a copper coil exchanger and ice in an Igloo cooler. The pump only kicked on every 1.5 to 2 hours for a minute or so. I have no doubt it can crash a batch to 35F. Fantastic product.

This is an extremely versatile chilling coil, easily adaptable to almost any fermentor. I also plan to use it a cold serving coil inside my custom jockey box. And there is no way you can beat this price, especially for stainless.

Excellent workmanship and value. I'm using it for a flash steam boiler coil. The SST holds up very well to the high heat and produces a lot of steam. The copper coils I was using kept blowing out from the high heat but the SST coil makes for an excellent flash steam boiler! I'm using a multi orifice propane burner.

Using this to lager in a 6 gallon bucket. Just needed to drill two holes into the lid which was very simple. I have a blanket wrapped around the bucket and a pump in a water bath maintained at 40F. The setup has maintained my lager to within +/- .5F of 50F (set point on inkbird) for the last week. So it's definitely working well. I tested with propylene glycol as well, and encountered no problems using it with this system. I have a big mouth bubbler as well. I'll be buying a spare lid and drilling it at some point.

I able to cold crash to 36 from 71 in 5 hours.

I finally got mine set up and am using it on the first batch. I installed the coil in my AllRounder. My cooling setup is a container of RV antifreeze in the freezer of my mini fridge with a 660gal pump. The 3/8" hoses run through a hole I cut in the back of the fridge to the coil (the AllRounder sits on top of the fridge). The pump is hooked up to a temperature controller with the temp probe inserted into a thermowell in the top of the AllRounder. The setup cooled the wort from 76deg to 67deg in about 2hrs! Now that I know it will work, I am going to wrap the hoses with foam insulation to keep the heat out. Will update with a pic later.

Extremely efficient at cooling my spiedel 30L fermenter when hooked up to a glycol chiller. Currently fermenting my first lager in years at a steady 50F... in a 75F room.

I have not yet used this equipment on a batch of fermenting wort but I am excited based on how it mates to the Fermzilla fermenter I bought along with the Temp Twister. I will update this review once used on live product.

Great products on time

I have a 5gal bucket of water in a beverage cooler and was able to maintain mid 60s ferment temp of 11gals of beers when the garage was in mid 80s. Fermentor was inside a FermZilla 55 Liter Insulated Jacket at the time.

Works excellent in conjunction with a small pump be cooler to drop temps bellow 50 f or 10 c.

I'm using it with the 27L Fermzilla and Duotight Thermowell. Tightening the bulkheads is difficult because the nut sits too far into the underside of the lid. If you can get past that you're golden for fermentation and pressure carbing.

It is meant for fermzilla, but it works very well with my 30 litre Speidel plastic fermenter. Cools down very fast pitching temp and also very stable ferm temp from 54° to 64° degrees with 80° room temp.

Works great. Using it to knock the temp on my Dunkel from 57 to 50 using a cooler for an ice bath.
