eBrewing | 3V System | Ss BrewTech
TWO - 240VAC 30AMP GFCI Dedicated Circuits Required Designing every piece of our electric brewing equipment from scratch has enabled us to introduce a new level of process control, flexibility, and performance. Every detail has been carefully thought through and refined. Beginning with control, our eControllers include a fully proportional PID output, which doesn't rely on SSR's or high speed switching to modulate heat. Instead, voltage is modulated, this means element wattage is proportional, and can be fine-tuned from 0-100% for holding temps steady during a mash rest, or dialing in a perfect rolling boil. The eController quickly finds equilibrium with environmental heat loss characteristics, and can maintain a high degree of accuracy. Next, we thought about the best way to maintain a high level of flexibility. One such method was using a common interconnect throughout our line of eControllers and eKettles, in an attempt to minimize proprietary connectors, and leverage trusted UL approved connector types. The modularity of our eBrewing system allows a user to splice an HLT or Boil Kettle into their system for instance, without having to purchase an entirely new 3 vessel brewhouse. In addition, flexibility is realized through the use of our custom-designed element and eKettle element port, which allows for easy removal of the element for cleaning. In addition, we didn't settle for a common, off the shelf straight or ripple element. Instead, we designed a low watt density halo element, specifically sized to the corresponding kettle volume. This design is better suited to distributing heat evenly throughout the kettle, in addition to fostering an effective whirlpool and trub cone formation. Crafted from Incoloy 800 alloy, our element carries a higher resistance to heat and oxidation than standard stainless. Lastly, performance is deeply important to everything we design. We sized the element and controller in both 10 and 20 gallon sizes to maximize a standard 240 VAC, 30 amp residential circuit. As a result ramp times are quick, which work to shorten the brew day. We also wanted to blend some of our latest product enhancements alongside some of our classic tech. So we decided on a kettle with fully welded TC fittings, alongside our venerable trub dam, which is now paired with a TC ball valve. Even small aesthetic details were not overlooked, such as a front to back handle orientation for a more compact horizontal brewhouse layout. Or integrating a PT100 temperature probe into the heating element base, which alleviates the need for a dedicated thermowell port. For the 3V eBrewing system, we are combining an eController 3V along with a pair of eKettles (one as an HLT and one as a Boil Kettle) and an InfuSsion Mashtun paired with our RIMS. This system includes the following: eController 3V (2) eKettles with Elements InfuSsion Mash Tun RIMS All 304 Stainless eKettle with Fully welded TC Fittings 1.5" TC ball valve port with trub dam 1.5" TC accessory port 2" TC element port with proprietary element locknut system 5500 Watt Halo Heating Elements 3500 Watt RIMS Element Integrated PT100 temperature probe L6-30 connector molded into element base Anodized aluminum controller housing Omron PID controller with Proportional Control Auto and Manual mode switching (2) 120 VAC Accessory receptacles

Ss BrewTech - eController - 3V
TWO - 240VAC 30AMP GFCI Dedicated Circuits Required Designing every piece of our electric brewing equipment from scratch has enabled us to introduce a new level of process control, flexibility, and performance. Every detail has been carefully thought through and refined. Every component of our new eControllers were designed in house or selected to enhance the ebrewing experience. Beginning with the custom extruded 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum housing, which is CNC machined, and then coated in a durable black anodized finish. Using this approach allowed us to keep the system compact, portable, and functional. The housing includes an integrated carry handle for easy setup and take down, a tee-slot for alternative mounting options, along with a heatsink to keep the internal electrical components cool. The boilkettle output on the eController is driven by a fully proportional PID controller, which doesn't rely on high speed switching to modulate heat. Instead, voltage is modulated through an internal SSVR, this means element wattage is proportional. A switch located just above the PID allows the user to operate the controller in manual or automatic modes. In manual mode, the proportional output can be fine-tuned on a scale of 0-100% of total element output which is ideal for dialing in a perfect rolling boil. Alternatively, in automatic mode, the PID algorithm manages the proportional output relative to process temperature, to hold a steady HLT or mash temp for instance. The eController quickly finds equilibrium with environmental heat loss characteristics, and can maintain a high degree of accuracy during each brewing process. The heater button allows the user to cycle the element on or off without shutting down the power to the entire unit, or adjusting the PID output setting, which is especially helpful during the occasional boil-over. This feature also allows the controller to be used to monitor a process temperature, such as during runoff or latter stages of the sparge process without the risk of dry firing the element. Lastly, the controller features two accessory outputs, which would commonly be used for pumps, but could also be used for a mill, lighting, or even a phone charger. Connectivity was an important consideration for our eControllers, we wanted the flexibility and familiarity of a plug that could be adapted to an existing customer supplied kettle or element, and the reliability of a UL approved connector type. For 240VAC main power and element connectors, we settled on the common NEMA L6-30 standard, which is a 3-wire twist-lock plug type, capable of delivering 30 amps of current. For the accessory connections, we settled on using a NEMA 5-15 standard, which is just a standard residential 120 VAC outlet. Finally, for the PT100 temperature probes we opted for the 3.5 mm mini jack connector standard, commonly used for headphones, which is both durable and easy to use. Ss Brewtech | Ss Brew Pump | 1.5" Tri-Clamp | 11 GPM
IP55 Water Resistant Rating: Ready to handle the messiest brew days and easy cleanup. Magnetic Drive: Ensures smooth, efficient, and sanitary wort transfer. 360° Pro DIN Fitting: Allows for secure, sanitary, and easy connection with customizable outlet placement. 1.5" TC Center Inlet Head: Engineered for advanced brewing setups including mash recirculation and transfer. Inspired by countless brew days in our garages and basements, as well as our experience in professional breweries, Ss Brew Pump is our take on a classic piece of brewing gear that is key to so many homebrew setups around the world. Featuring an IP55 Water Resistance Rating, an easy-to-use DIN Head, Magnetic Drive, and 1.5” TC Center Inlet Head, Ss Brew Pump is engineered to tackle even the messiest of brew days! IP55 | Water Resistant Just like the high-quality pumps found throughout craft breweries, the Ss Brew Pump is IP55 certified and ready to handle the messiest of brew days. From the Ground Up Designing our own pump is something we have been eyeing for a while. Pumps are critical to any form of advanced brewing. From mash recirculation to transferring wort to cleanup, a quality pump is a key part of every brewday. Years of working in professional craft brewing environments, where water-resistant pumps are the norm, made the foundation of our brew pump an easy decision. It had to be IP55 rated to handle the unavoidable messes that happen and the cleanups that follow them. Once we unlocked the design for waterproofing, we turned to a laundry list of specs and features we wanted. That led to the creation of the Ss Brew Pump; one of our favorite products and now a staple in all of our team’s homebrew setups. Magnetic Drive It’s no secret that magnetic drive pumps are perfect for brewing applications. Instead of using a direct drive system where sealing off the wort from the drive shaft and motor is a major concern, Ss Brew Pump uses a high-end magnetic drive that allows for smooth, efficient, and sanitary operation. 360° Pro DIN Fitting Commonly found on Pro Brewing Tanks, DIN fittings allow for a secure and sanitary connection that is also super easy to use. Unlike a TC connection, the DIN Head on Ss Brew Pump allows for a secure connection that applies even pressure on every bit of the silicone seal and is easier to remove and reinstall without having to fumble with a large clamp. The DIN Head can also be rotated and secured in a full 360 degrees so that you can place the Pump’s outlet exactly where you need it for your brewing setup. Note: Ss Brew Pump is currently not compatible with Legacy versions of Brew Cube | Pump Mount Plate Kit, Brew Cube | Valve Tree Manifold, and Portable Valve Tree. Ss Brew Pump uses a larger mounting plate and the bolt holes to secure it are in a different pattern than the Chugger pumps these products were originally designed for. We are working to update these products and plan to have them available soon. What's Included: Ss Brew Pump 50-120 DIN Pin Wrench Specifications: 11 gallons per minute flow rate 18 ft Max Head IP55 Water Resistant Sanitary DIN Fitting Stainless Head with 1.5" TC Center Inlet 120 VAC 60hz 0.7 A Assembled dimensions: 5.5” x 4.5” x 9.75” Package dimensions: 7.25” x 7.25” x 12” - 11.75 lbs

eBrewing | 2V System | Ss BrewTech
Designing every piece of our electric brewing equipment from scratch has enabled us to introduce a new level of process control, flexibility, and performance.
