  • CellarScience - Slayer 800 - PLACEHOLDER CellarScience - Slayer 800 - PLACEHOLDER

    CellarScience® Slayer 800 | High-Gravity Nutrient

High-Gravity Optimized: Precisely calibrated for 18–20% ABV sugar-wash fermentations. Ultra-Clean Finish: Eliminates "turbo funk" by actively suppressing fusels, sulfur, and solvent off-flavors. Advanced Nutrient System: Dual-phase nitrogen, fortified minerals, and vitamins protect yeast under extreme ethanol stress. Highly Versatile Base: Produces a completely neutral alcohol perfect for 20% cocktails or diluted hard seltzers. Broad Compatibility: Performs consistently with a wide range of distiller’s and specialty yeast strains. Slayer 800 is precisely calibrated for sugar-wash fermentations targeting 18 to 20% ABV. Within this window, the nutrient ratio is tuned to balance nitrogen availability, osmotic stress, and yeast health. Fermenting a wash to 20% ABV demands precision, not brute force. At this level, osmotic pressure, ethanol toxicity, and nutrient exhaustion push yeast to their limits. Conventional “turbo” nutrients rely on aggressive nitrogen overloads that drive speed at the cost of flavor, producing the unmistakable turbo funk familiar to high-gravity brewers. Slayer 800 was engineered to defeat that  enabling rapid, stable, and neutral fermentations that finish strong, clean, and predictable. Every component in Slayer 800 serves a biochemical purpose. Its dual-phase nitrogen system combines rapid inorganic nitrogen for early growth with a measured organic fraction that sustains amino-acid synthesis deep into fermentation. This balanced loadout prevents nutrient collapse while minimizing fusel and sulfur formation. A mineral-based buffering system moderates acidification and preserves yeast metabolic efficiency. Supported by bioavailable zinc, magnesium, and an optimized vitamin complex, Slayer 800 reinforces cell-wall integrity and alcohol-dehydrogenase activity, the critical pathways that allow yeast to survive and thrive at extreme gravities. The result is a wash that ferments completely and cleanly, without the off-flavors or volatility typical of over-stimulated turbo washes. The purity of a Slayer 800 fermentation produces a remarkably neutral alcohol base suitable for diverse applications. It can serve directly as a 20% cocktail base for spirit-free cktails or be diluted into a lower-strength seltzer base without introducing residual yeast or flavor carryover. The result is a clean, versatile foundation for both commercial and craft beverage creation. Compatible with a wide range of distiller’s and specialty yeast strains, Slayer 800 delivers complete, stable fermentations from small-batch runs to large-scale production. Its balanced nutrient profile supports consistent attenuation and clean finishes across yeast types, eliminating the variability that plagues generic turbo formulas. High-gravity specialization – Tuned for 18–20% sugar-wash fermentations. Neutral, clean profile – Suppresses fusel, sulfur, and solvent-like off-compounds. Balanced nitrogen system – Dual-phase nitrogen supports long-duration metabolism. Buffered mineral stability – Protects yeast metabolism through ethanol stress. Micronutrient reinforcement – Zinc, magnesium, and vitamins enhance alcohol tolerance. Versatile end use – Produces a 20% cocktail base or a clean, lower-potency seltzer base. Broad strain compatibility – Performs with both distiller’s and specialty yeast strains. Science-driven formulation – Developed through extensive high-gravity trials for maximum speed and purity. Available in convenient batch sizes (25 g for 2 gallons; 63 g for 5 gallons) as well as 1-lb and 5-lb bulk options. For large batches, the recommended dosage rate is 12.5 g per gallon or 13.7 oz per bbl.

  • Low stock! MB - Sanitary Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump - 40 GPM - 1.5 in. T.C.

    MB® Sanitary Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump | 40 GPM | 1.5" T.C.

MB 1.5" – Precision Liquid Handling: Optimized for finished wine, juice, and light lees, this size is designed for high-efficiency transfer of liquids or fluids with minimal solids (maximum particle pass of 3.2 mm). Resilient Self-Priming Design: Built to run dry without damage, these pumps are perfect for variable flows and won't fail if your hopper or tank runs empty during a transfer. High-Vacuum Suction Power: Specifically designed to "pull" liquid and transfer your product without the pump stalling or air-locking. Gentle, Low-Shear Transfer: Minimizes vibration and "slugging" through a pneumatic operation that protects the integrity of your juice or wine while extending the lifespan of the internal diaphragms. MB Series Sanitary Diaphragm Pumps Sleek Design. Industrial Strength. Our MB Series Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps combine a high-polish, sanitary aesthetic with rugged reliability. Featuring a unique stainless steel wrap-around cover that protects the air valve mechanism, these pumps offer a clean, streamlined look that fits perfectly in any modern production facility. Constructed from 304 Stainless Steel with high-performance Super Teflon and Polyether diaphragms, these pumps are engineered for longevity and ease of cleaning. Whether you are moving delicate liquids or solids-laden must, the MB Series delivers consistent, shear-sensitive flow. Optional Pulsation Dampener System: Upgrade your pump with our optional Air-Charged Dampener. Diaphragm pumps naturally create a "pulsing" flow; our dampener smooths this out into a steady stream, which is essential for filtration processes. By removing the surge, you protect your filter media from pressure spikes, ensuring a cleaner finish and longer filter life. Specialized Winery Applications Moving Must & Solids: For moving fermented must or pomace, the MB 3" is the gold standard due to its 6.4mm solids handling and high volume. While the MB 2" can work for musts where more liquid is present (up to 4.8mm particles) such as higher liquid content crushed grapes as well as doing pump-overs mid ferment. If you're buying the pump with the intent to use it for must, the 3" model significantly reduces the risk of clogging and provides the necessary torque to move heavy skins and seeds without stalling. The MB 1.5" is recommended for wine, juice, or light lees only. Choosing Between 2-inch and 3-inch Choosing the right pump size for your winery—specifically between a 2-inch and a 3-inch unit—usually comes down to how much solids you’re moving and how much you value your sleep during harvest. The 2-Inch Unit: Precision for Liquids The 2-inch pump is your go-to for liquid-heavy transfers and boutique-scale operations. While it can handle crushed grapes, it requires a high liquid-to-solid ratio to stay happy. If your must is "dry" or contains whole berries, a 2-inch pump will often struggle, leading to "slugging"—a rhythmic vibration that wears down your diaphragms prematurely. It’s the perfect choice if 90% of your day involves moving wine or juice rather than thick skins. The 3-Inch Unit: The Must-Have Workhorse When it’s time to move fermented must to the press, the 3-inch model is the industry standard for a reason. It isn’t just about flow rate; it’s about clearance. With a 6.4 mm particle pass, it handles seeds, stems, and skins without breaking a sweat. Its larger diaphragm surface area creates a stronger vacuum, allowing it to "pull" thick, viscous material that would cause a smaller pump to stall or air-lock. Which One Do You Need? Choose the 1.5-Inch if: Your operations are strictly focused on finished wine, juice, or light lees. With a maximum particle pass of 3.2 mm, this size is designed for high-efficiency liquid transfer where solids are minimal or non-existent. It is the most compact and economical choice for general cellar work that doesn’t involve heavy skins or stems. Choose the 2-inch if: You are a small-lot producer primarily moving juice and wine, or if your must is consistently well-crushed and juicy. Choose the 3-Inch if: You are moving heavy fermented reds to the press. It’s far less likely to clog, saving you hours of labor and preventing the dreaded "bridging" at the intake. Regardless of size, diaphragm pumps still need a little lubrication. Keep a "juice reserve" handy to splash into your hopper; it helps the skins slide through the system and keeps your harvest moving smoothly. Pro-Tip: If you are moving must that is particularly "dry," ensure your suction hose is as short and straight as possible. Every foot of hose and every bend adds friction that a diaphragm pump struggles to overcome when there isn't enough liquid to act as a lubricant.   Versatility Beyond the Vineyard While designed with the winery in mind, the MB Series is a workhorse across multiple industries. Their self-priming, seal-less design makes them ideal for: Food & Beverage: Transferring juices, oils, sauces, and dairy products. Cosmetics & Pharma: Handling lotions, creams, and high-purity fluids. Chemical Processing: Moving shear-sensitive or abrasive chemicals. General Industrial: Sump evacuation, drum emptying, and viscous fluid transfer. Note: All MB Series pumps are air-powered and require a standard air compressor for operation. Each unit features integrated one-way check valves to ensure consistent priming and prevent backflow.   Model # Inlet/Outlet (in) Max Flow (GPM) Air Supply (CFM) Solid Size (in) Max Temp (°F) PMP6600 1.5" TC 39.6 23.7 0.1" 248 PMP6601 2.0" TC 99.9 31.8 0.2' 248 PMP6602 3.0" TC 150.0 53.0-70.6 0.3" 248

Diaphragm pumps naturally create a "pulsing" flow; our dampener smooths this out into a steady stream, which is essential for filtration processes. By removing the surge, you protect your filter media from pressure spikes, ensuring a cleaner finish and longer filter life. This unit is sized for the 3" MB Sanitary Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump. Tri-clamp adapter fittings are included.

  • HyperBoost - Oil-Boosted Hop Extract - Centennial - 100 g

    Centennial HyperBoost® | Oil-Boosted Hop Extract | 100 g

Maximize Finished Yield: Reduces beer loss and waste by replacing bulky hop pellets with a highly concentrated liquid extract. Intense Hop Aromatics: Delivers variety-specific, "survivable" hop compounds for a powerful aromatic boost in every batch. Versatile Cold-Side Use: Designed for easy pouring into the fermenter during active or post-fermentation dry hopping and whirlpool additions. Superior Efficiency: Streamlines logistics with a compact footprint and high replacement rates—up to 100:1 compared to T-90 pellets. HyperBoost®, formerly YCH 701, is a concentrated hop oil extract produced through an innovative CO2 supercritical extraction process. Intended to amplify hop aromatics and increase yield, HyperBoost excels at adding beautiful hop aroma anywhere pellets are normally used, including cold-side applications. HyperBoost is made from single-hop varieties to deliver variety-specific aroma boosts to your finished beer. Chief Advantages: Increased efficiency Ease of use Increased aroma Less storage space needed High concentrations of survivable compounds Reduction of waste How to Brew with HyperBoost? HyperBoost® is designed to easily pour in your fermenter as a dry hop addition, adding an intense saturation of hop flavor to your finished beer. Most brewers choose to use HyperBoost during active fermentation, but it can also be added to the whirlpool. Using HyperBoost in place of traditional pellets can increase finished beer yield. Kettle: HyperBoost is not intended for kettle additions. For early kettle and bittering additions, we recommend pellets or CO2 extract. DynaBoost® carries variety-specific oil and alpha acid content to the kettle and can be used as a late kettle addition. Post-Boil / Whirlpool: For whirlpool use, brewers can replace up to 100% of pellets with HyperBoost. We suggest replacing T-90 pellet additions in the whirlpool at a rate of 50:1 by weight (20 g of HyperBoost to replace 1 kg T-90). Your brewery might choose to use more or less depending on beer style or overall goal. Fermentation: HyperBoost can be used as an active or post-fermentation hop addition. Incorporate HyperBoost anywhere in the process you would typically use pellets. Dry Hopping: For dry hop additions, YCH recommends using HyperBoost for 25-50% of the addition and adding T-90 or Cryo® pellets for the remainder of the hop charge. As a dry hop, we suggest starting with a replacement rate of 100:1 HyperBoost to T-90 pellets by weight (10 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90) to 125:1 (8 g HyperBoost in place of 1 kg T-90).    HyperBoost® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

Sabro® is a registered trademark owned by Hop Breeding Company, LLC HyperBoost® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

  • DynaBoost - Whirlpool Hop Extract - Chinook - 1 kg

    Chinook DynaBoost® | Whirpool Hop Extract | 1 kg

Ambient Flowability: Effortlessly flows at room temperature for easy, hassle-free additions without pre-heating. Increased Wort Yield: Boosts yield by up to 5% by significantly reducing trub and solid matter in the whirlpool. Amplified Aromatics: Highly soluble extract designed to deliver concentrated, variety-specific hop character. Logistical Efficiency: Streamlines operations by reducing shipping costs and requiring less cold storage space. Formerly YCH 702, DynaBoost is an oil-enriched extract that flows effortlessly at ambient temperatures. DynaBoost was crafted as a hassle-free whirlpool addition that amplifies aromatics through a concentration of wort-soluble compounds. Thanks to that solubility, you get less solid matter impacting your waste stream and more wort heading to your fermenter, with some brewers reporting up to a 5% increase in wort yield. Chief Advantages: Easy to use Flowable at room temperature Increase hot side yield Reduction of solid matter in the whirlpool and waste stream Shipping and storage space reduction How to Brew with DynaBoost? DynaBoost serves as a versatile companion in the brewhouse, adding a rich and dynamic hop character to your beer. This exceptionally flowable oil extract delivers varietal hop characteristics to your brew through a high concentration of beer-soluble compounds. Thanks to its solubility, brewers may see an increase in wort yield due to a reduction in trub. Kettle: DynaBoost carries variety-specific alpha acid content and can be used both as an early bittering addition, or a late aroma addition in the kettle. Post-Boil / Whirlpool: DynaBoost was specifically designed to boost aromatics as a whirlpool addition. The wort soluble oil extract will deliver variety-specific aroma attributes and minimize trub, potentially increasing your whirlpool yield. Fermentation: DynaBoost requires contact time with hot liquid to incorporate into wort or fermenting beer. For that reason, brewers who choose to use DynaBoost in the fermenter often use a "dip hop" method, where a small portion of the wort is transferred to the fermenter hot (170-200°F) along with DynaBoost. The hot wort and DynaBoost mixture is then allowed to stand for a short period before the main knockout at fermentation temperature, after which yeast can be pitched. Dry Hopping: DynaBoost was not intended to be used as a dry-hop addition. Instead, it is recommended to replace 25-50% of dry hop additions with HyperBoost™, leaving up to 50% of the additions as T-90 or Cryo Hops® pellets.   DynaBoost® is a registered trademark owned by Yakima Chief Hops, LLC.

Replacement Kit:  Mi556-KIT.  Individual Reagent Bottles.   Replacement pH electrode:  MA919B/1. Care and Use  pH electrodes usually start performing poorly because of problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction. Sensing Bulb The glass bulb loses sensitivity with use and will eventually fail. This is true of all pH probes. Reference Junction The reference junction is a small hole that allows the meter to compare the sample to a reference. The reading is generated based on the electrical difference between the sample and reference. If the junction hole gets clogged, the pH electrode will no longer function.   You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways. Cleaning and Storage All pH sensors have a limited life and response time gets longer with age. Properly maintaining your pH electrode will give you fast, accurate results for longer. So, be sure to order the Milwaukee Maintenance Kit code PH-Main at checkout time!  This will be needed to help clean and condition the pH electrode before use! Storage To minimize clogging the pH probe needs to be kept hydrated. Long periods of dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry out may also result in the junction hole getting clogged. Storing in pH probe storage solution MA9015 or pH calibration buffers will help address both these issues. Do not store in tap water or DI water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe. The best way to store the probe is with the probe's cap filled with storage solution or calibration buffer and the cap tightened to prevent leakage. It is also recommended that to store the electrode upright to further reduce the potential for leakage. Cleaning an Maintenance Residue from the sample can impact the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and clog the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in cleaning solution MA9016. Also: Inspect the electrode for damage or scratches, if present replace the electrode. Inspect the cable.  The connection cable and insulation must be intact. Connectors should be clean and dry. Rinse off salt deposits with water or DI water. Calibration The pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time so make sure that you are calibrating regularly to keep your MI456 Mini-Titrator readings accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage.

The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction. Range:-2.00 to 20.00 pH | ±2000.0 mV | -20.0 to 120.0°C (-4.0 to 248.0°F) Resolution:0.01pH | 0.1mV | 0.1°C (0.1°F) Accuracy:±0.01 ph | ±1 mV | ±0.4°C |±0.8°F Care and Use pH meters usually start performing poorly because of problems with the probe. Properly maintaining your pH pen tester will give you fast, accurate results for longer. So, be sure to order the Milwaukee pH Maintenance Kit code PH-Main at checkout time!  This will be needed to help clean and condition the pH electrode before use! Storage To minimize clogging the pH probe needs to be kept hydrated. Long periods of dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry out may also result in the junction hole getting clogged. Store the pH probe in storage solution MA9015. Only use tap water short-term if MA9015 is not immediately available and NEVER store in distilled Water (DI) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) water. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in cleaning solution MA9016 for about 20 minutes. Also: Inspect the electotrode for damage or scratches, if present replace the electrode. Inspect the cable.  The connection cable and insulation must be intact. Connectors should be clean and dry. Rinse off salt deposits with water or DI water. Calibration The pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time so make sure that you are calibrating regularly to keep your PRO Plus Bench pH Meter accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage.  For BEST value on calibration, cleaning and storage solutions order pH-START.  If you need to calibrate at 10.01 point order MA9010.
