Approximately 4" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air. The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter. This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter. The most eye-catching difference between this unit and the previous model is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that can fit up to four 5-gallon homebrew kegs at one time, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. The KOMOS kegerator positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. The KOMOS Cobra draft tower has a beautiful polished finish and features a built-in glycol loop for chilling. These towers are a gorgeous option for your tap room or home bar. The signature condensation on a glycol chilled draft tower will surely have your patrons thirsting for a pint! Of course, using the glycol loop is optional and isn't required to appreciate the striking design of the Cobra tower.
The towers come with female beer thread sockets and do not include shanks or faucets. We recommend the stainless Cobra Tower Shank and stainless Intertap forward-sealing faucets. When installing the shanks you will also need a tailpiece gasket to create a good seal.
For chilling the tower we highly recommend the KOMOS DraftMaster glycol chiller. This unit features a built-in submersible pump intended for pushing glycol or ice water through the Cobra tower's cooling loop. The pump can be turned on independently to circulate cooling solution constantly while you're serving from the tower, and then turned off when not in use. The DraftMaster also has 4 built-in draft coils that sit in the glycol reservoir, so you can serve from kegs at room temperature by passing the beer through the chiller on its way to your faucet.

The KOMOS KRYO benchtop keg dispenser can serve ice cold beer from unchilled kegs. It's essentially an electric jockey box that chills beer inline as it passes from the keg through the internal draft coils that sit submerged in the glycol reservoir. Simply place it on your counter or benchtop, fill the reservoir with a 20% glycol solution, and hook up your keg to the draft shank bulkheads. In roughly an hour, the reservoir will have cooled down enough that you'll be ready to pour! And thanks to the compact size, the KRYO can easily be transported from your home to the next backyard BBQ, cabin trip, wedding, or virtually any gathering of thirsty people you can think of. For homebrewers this would allow you to keep your refrigerator at fermenation temperatures while always seving your beer ice cold. Glycol Reservoir Although you can fill the reservoir with water only, for optimal performance we highly recommend using a glycol/water mix so you can lower the chilling solution below freezing. You simply won't be able to get your beer as cold if using water only. The sight gauge at the front will let you know if it's time to top up the reservoir, but also functions as a drain. When it's time to move the KRYO from one location to another, drain out the glycol into a sealable container to avoid spills during transportation. The glycol reservoir provides an exceptional amount of cooling power that makes it perfect for servicing small bars or cafes, as well as home use. If you're deciding between this model and the KRYO Nomad, note that peak chilling capacity for this model is approximately 8 gallons per hour, whereas the Nomad can chill up to roughly 2 gallons per hour. NukaTap Flow Control Faucets These stainless steel forward sealing faucets allow you to make instant adjustments to the beverage flow as you pour. Brand new aluminum 5 lb CO2 tank made from high strength aluminum alloy and high quality CGA320 valves. Because it is made of aluminum rather than steel you can feel confident that it won’t rust. It’s called a 5 lb tank because it holds 5 lbs of compressed (liquified) CO2. 5 lbs of CO2 is enough to dispense about 8 to 9x 5-gallon kegs of homebrew.
Aluminum tanks are superior to steel because they do not rust. All tanks are shipped empty. To have tanks filled you will want to visit your local welding supply shop. Because you are purchasing a new tank you can choose to either have it filled or to exchange it for a filled tank at your local gas supplier. If you have this tank filled the local gas supplier is responsible for affixing the correct neck label that identifies the gas being put in the cylinder.

Many kegerator brands will include the cheapest regulator they can find, and while these regulators may work OK out of the box, they will eventually show signs of pressure creep which can lead to foamy beer and other issues with your draft system. Rather than have you rely on a regulator that is "just OK", KOMOS kegerators include their own premium dual gauge regulator with highly accurate precision diaphragm and heavy-duty steel gauges.

Forward-sealing Stainless Faucets and Towers
All KOMOS kegerators come with NukaTap stainless steel forward-sealing faucets and a stainless steel draft tower. While other kegerator brands include basic, chrome-plated faucets and ABS plastic draft towers to reduce cost, KOMOS includes these premium upgrades as standard.
Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Most other kegerators on the market will include the cheapest, rear-sealing chrome-plated beer faucets that you'd find at any dive bar. KOMOS kegerators include not only a faucet that features superior pour technology, but made from stainless steel which won't corrode over years of use.

Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our kegerators come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each kegerator comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks, regulator, and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.
EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing.
KOMOS Regulator
The included high-quality KOMOS CO2 regulator maintains consistent pressure and features a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and to relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Many kegerator brands will include the cheapest regulator they can find, and while these regulators may work OK out of the box, they will eventually show signs of pressure creep which can lead to foamy beer and other issues with your draft system. Rather than have you rely on a regulator that is "just OK", KOMOS kegerators include their own premium dual gauge regulator with highly accurate precision diaphragm and heavy-duty steel gauges. Included with your kegerator package is a Duotight fitting that attaches to the regulator for an easy, solid, push-to-connect connection with your gas line.
Added Features
All of that cooling power doesn't just keep your kegs cold thanks to the interior tower fan which blows cold air up into your towers to reduce foaming issues. The Olympus also comes standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China.
The recessed drip trays feature a built-in drain so spilled beer won't be hanging around in front of the draft towers. Tubing comes pre-installed and runs to an exterior bottom outlet that can be routed to a floor drain, or you can cut the tubing shorter on the inside and let the beer drain into a bucket. For home setups where a floor drain isn't an option, keeping the bucket inside the kegerator will keep it away from pesky fruit flies and other pests. And to keep everything in tip-top shape, the drip dray's grill is removable anytime you want to wipe down the reservoir or wash the grill.

This solid black door for the right side of the Olympus II or middle and/or right side of the Olympus III kegerator can be installed if you want one of the interior sections of the fridge to be protected from sunlight. The solid doors provide better insulation compared to the glass doors, and will protect beer bottles and draft lines from UV exposure if the fridge is positioned in direct sunlight.
