This dual-purpose hop provides distinct aroma and flavor that include sweet watermelon candy, raspberry, and pine. With an average alpha acid content of around 12.6%, Anchovy Hops are suitable for bittering additions but are particularly effective when utilized for aroma and flavor contributions in later additions, whirlpool, or dry hopping.

Automatic HERMS Mashing
Mash temps are maintained via the HERMS coil made from convoluted copper tubing. This top-of-the-line coil design offers unparalleled efficiency while gently heating your wort. Choose from your saved mash schedules or program one on the fly. When the mash begins, the controller will automatically maintain the temperature of the hot liquor bath that the HERMS coil rests in. When the wort temp drops below your set point, the controller will turn on the pump to circulate wort through the coil. You can also set the pump to continuously circulate wort for the whole mash if you prefer, and the HLT will continue to maintain your mash temp automatically. When each mash step is complete, the controller will turn on the burner to raise the temperature of the HLT and begin the next step.

Choose your fuel source! Natural Gas is a nice option for the brewer whose home is already supplied with natural gas. This is a convenient option since you will never have to refill propane tanks, and you will never run out of gas mid batch. However, you do lose the freedom to move your BrewSculpture™ once it has been hard plumbed to your gas line. Whether you prefer the mobility of using propane or the reliable supply of natural gas, your burners will be fast, efficient, quiet and have great flame control.
The Ultimate Sparge Arm
No other system protects against hot side aeration quite like the BrewSculpture. While other systems simply pump wort back to the top of the mash tun and let it splash back down over the grain bed, the Ultimate Sparge Arm will make sure your wort circulates with virtually zero aeration. The Ultimate Sparge Arm features adjustable height and adjustable flow. Depending on what beer you’re brewing, the surface of the mash will be at different heights. Simply lower the sparge arm to just below the surface of the mash and your recirculation will be splash-free. The ball valve at the inlet of the sparge arm allows you to dial in the flow and reduce turbulence as you see fit.

Pumping off the mash tun is the easiest way to collapse the screens. It is recommended that you either put a tee and a vacuum breaker ahead of the pump or run the wort into a grant and pump off the grant. Controlling the pump with restriction, a VFD, or a dual level float switch is ideal.
This tall cylindrical grant has three 1.5" tri-clamp ports and a silicone tube for a sight glass. The narrow design helps to reduce surface area and hot side aeration. Safely store small volumes of product in these beautiful tanks. The legs make accessing the ports easy and the convenient top hatch makes cleaning a dream when combined with the 2R interior finish. Heavy-duty sealing mechanism and gasket form a seal on top with a stainless steel lid equipped with a T.C. port for adding accessories or an airlock. The inside is finished to Speidel quality standards with flawless welds and a 2R finish.
The tanks will support a few PSI of pressure, however, they are not pressure-rated or designed to be used under pressure.
Tank Ports
Tanks feature 1.5" T.C. outlets (1 on bottom for complete drainage, one in middle for racking arm, one on top for blowoff/airlock), and also two welded DIN fittings. One DIN port is equipped with an included sample valve and the other has an included thermometer and thermowell combination. The cooling jackets have two 1” NPT ports.
