  • Cryo Hops - Idaho 7 - PLACEHOLDER

    Idaho 7® Brand J-007 | Cryo Hops®

Idaho 7®'s strong hoppiness makes it well suited for single hop beers or easily blended with late additions in IPAs, Pale Ales, and Hazys Aroma Profile: Berry, Bubblegum, Citrus, Stone Fruit, Tropical Alpha Acids: 21.0 – 26.0% Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets Roughly twice as poetent as traditional T-90 hop pellets; dose at a rate of 40-50% Increase yield by reducing beer loss to vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer! Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor.  It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil. Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material. Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier. Typical Hop Statistics: Alpha Acids: 21.0 – 26.0% Beta Acids: 7.0 – 10.0% Total Oil: 2.5 – 4.5%   Idaho 7® is a registered trademark owned by Jackson Hop Farm. A simple wheat ale recipe with raspberry flavoring that will surely be a crowd pleaser Includes a dash of Cascade hops Estimated ABV: 4% Estimated IBUs: 11-15 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer A low hopped beer featuring dried wheat malt extract, dextrin for body and natural raspberry flavoring. A crowd pleaser and a good party beer. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity:1.041-45 SRM (Color Range): 7 IBUs: 11-15 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 4% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”.  For more info, click on the recommended yeast(s) below in the “You Might Also Need” section below. All included steeping grains will come milled. Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME) MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Spicy flavor and firm bitterness supported by a velvety-smooth body Includes Magnum and Columbus hops Estimated ABV: 6.6% Estimated IBUs: 40-44 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer You've never had this beer before, and, until very recently, neither had we. Imagine: a sexy, red color, spicy flavor, velvety-smooth body, terrific head, plus an aroma you could eat, all wrapped up with a firm bitterness. How did we do it? The creative shotgun approach! Continually throw enough stuff into the mix and, eventually, you score a win like this one. We started with a basic recipe similar to our famous Irish Red, but added Rye as well. A brash move? You bet! But we didn't stop there. We've added Magnum and Columbus hops everywhere, including into the carboy for dry hopping. If you want to go for a Home Run, add 1oz of the included French Oak chips after the first week of fermentation. • Duotight Flow Control Ball Lock Bev Out (Black) - 8mm (5/16) Duotight Flow Control Ball Lock Bev Out (Black) - 8mm (5/16)

Duotight Flow Control Ball Lock Quick Disconnect (QD) | Beverage Out | Adjustable Flow Rate | 8 mm Duotight

    10 reviews

If you want an easy way to balance your beer lines, this is the way to do it. One of the benefits of Flow Control disconnects is you don't need to rely on the small ID or line length to apply flow resistance. Rather than adjusting your line length or size, simply apply additional restriction directly on the Quick Disconnect (QD). This is perfect for people who want to serve a large range of beverages with differing carbonation levels without having to customize each line. Now with the added benefit of Duotight fittings built in. Please be aware that even in the fully open position these FC disconnects do have some inherent flow resistance so you should use either shorter line or larger ID line that you would when compared with traditional ball lock disconnects.   Flow Control QD vs. Flow Control Faucet One of the only drawbacks of flow control devices is that they inherently create a small amount of turbulence and therefore can cause foaming. In the past, flow control faucets have been the only common option. Flow control faucets are very popular but due to the fact that they are placed at the very end of the beer line they have no head pressure. As a result, any turbulence created can cause foaming and carbonation to come out of solution. Flow control ball lock disconnects like these on the other hand have the ability to restrict the flow before the beer enters the beer line so the head pressure created by the beer line keeps the carbonation in solution. Even in the instance that high turbulence is created the beer will be far more resistant to foaming issues. For this reason, flow control ball lock disconnects like these have significantly better performance allowing you the flexibility to adjust line resistance easily but without the introduction of turbulence that creates foaming. It cannot fix over-carbonated beer, but it can reduce the amount of beer line you would need to pour without excessive foaming. Duotight Ball Lock QDs The humble plastic ball lock disconnect has been around a long time and is used by countless homebrewers around the world.  Despite the extensive use they have seen little to no innovation for decades and KegLand wanted to change this. Enter the Duotight Ball Lock QD. The integrated Duotight design means you can connect your beer and gas line directly, easily and reliably with no need for additional fittings or clamps. It is a robust and super compact design that is incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble, making cleaning and sanitizing an absolute breeze! Made from highly chemical resistant materials with stainless springs and ball bearings (no cheap ABS plastics here) this baby is extremely resistant to commonly used chemicals such as phosphoric based sanitizers and caustics. The incredibly small form factor allows for easy stacking of kegs. The new cap design ensures a pressure seal with just hand tightening and it can be completely taken apart for cleaning with no tools required. Duotight Push-to-Connect These Duotight ball lock disconnects already have the Duotight fitting built into the ball lock disconnect. No need for additional threaded fittings. Simply push the beer/gas line in and you are done! Compact The world's most compact ball lock disconnect ever manufactured. This new compact form factor is great for tight spaces or fridges where you want to pack as many kegs in as possible. This is one of the only ball lock disconnects that allows standard ball lock kegs to be double stacked while still connected to beer and gas lines. Overmolded Poppet The overmolded poppet design means you can couple and disconnect this ball lock QD under extreme pressures of up to 150 psi (higher than most kegs working pressure) and will never have issues with the o-ring blowing out. Tool-less Disassembly Other ball lock disconnects require a tool such as a flat head screw driver or spanner to take them apart for cleaning. The new caps on these allow for easy disassembly by hand, making these easier to break down for cleaning. It's literally never been easier to remove hop particles from your ball lock disconnects. Extreme Chemical Resistance No cheap ABS plastic or nitrile seals. This ball lock disconnect is made from stainless spring and ball bearings, with an engineering polyketone resin body, EPDM and PP/EPDM overmolded poppet. This makes the quick disconnect resistant to extreme chemicals such as phosphoric and acetic acid, caustic soda, peroxide and many other acid or base chemicals which are commonly used in homebrewing. Toughness This ball lock disconnect is more robust than any other plastic ball lock disconnect ever manufactured due to the use of new engineering plastics. Don't be fooled by the small form factor — these bad boys are tough! Features: Ball Lock Quick Disconnect - Bev Out Adjustable flow rate Direct connect 8 mm EVABarrier tubing Compact design won't interfere with keg stacking Made from highly chemical resistant materials Dissamble by hand for quick and easy cleaning KegLand Part Number: KL21418

    3 reviews

Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends! This "Porter on steroids" has an outstanding malt character backed up with plenty of hop bitterness Includes Magnum, Cascade, and Willamette hops Estimated ABV: 8% Estimated IBUs: 70 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Because JP tends to get really good boilovers when he brews he usually makes high gravity beers whether he intends to or not. It may have something to do with consumption while brewing, not that any of us know anything about that. The result is always a starting gravity that is higher than anticipated. We put the beer on tap in the shop and it got rave reviews. It was both outstanding and unique. Sometimes things do happen for a reason! The beer can easily be described as a Porter on steroids. • Taprite Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator - Premium Taprite Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator - Premium

Taprite Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator | High Performance Primary Regulator | 0-50 PSI Working Pressure | CGA320 Inlet | One Way Shutoff Valve | 5/16" Barb Outlet

    103 reviews

High performance primary regulator designed to handle the workload of dispensing from multiple taps without freezing up! Dual high-pressure and low-pressure gauges to easily reference CO2 cylinder pressure and output pressure Pressure settings are easily adjusted by hand using the large plastic adjustment knob CGA320 inlet features a built-in gasket where the unit attaches to the CO2 tank—eliminating the need of replacing fiber washers with each tank swap Made in the USA. Taprite is one of leading manufacturers of gas regulators and draft dispensing equipment One-way shutoff valve outlet protects your regulator from backflow and can be turned on/off to stop gas flow without needing to close your tank When it comes to CO2 regulators, we’ve tried them all. This quality unit by Taprite is our favorite on the market. It’s no wonder this regulator is trusted by so many breweries and beer bars—it represents the best quality at a great price. Available in a standard, single-body model, as well as a dual-body model which allows you to send different pressures to two separate kegs from the same CO2 tank! The things you’ll love about this regulator are:  The large front knob makes pressure adjustment tool-free, easy & fast.  The built-in gasket where the regulator connects to the CO2 tank eliminates the constant replacement of fiber washers every time you change out your tank.  The barbed outlet features a one-way on/off valve which prevents backflow and protects the regulator’s internals.  The gauges are easy to read. The low pressure gauge reads from 0 to 60 psi. The optional available gauge cage is the best on the market. This is the T742HP model, where the HP stands for high performance; it won't freeze up when multiple taps are running at once. Best of all is the consistent pressure regulation. With many regulators the pressure can 'creep' up over time. This unit holds the pressure rock steady. No drifting.    Built by Taprite, an American company.

    Weldless Whirlpool Arm (Stainless)

    10 reviews

Want clearer wort? Quicker chilling times? Higher hop utilization during flameout? Achieve all this and more by upgrading your system with the new Weldless Whirlpool Arm by Fermentap!    Designed to be installed underneath the handle of your kettle, this piece of equipment will allow you to achieve a perfect whirlpool in your Boil Kettle. Simply pump your wort from your ball valve, into this piece, which will jet around the inside of the kettle, forming a strong whirlpool. It will settle Trub in the center of your kettle, making it easy to pull clear wort from your ball valve. It also gives a much higher chilling efficiency when using an immersion chiller, due to the increased turbulation of wort. On top of this, the increased flow will result in higher extraction of hop oils and flavor during flameout additions!    Made of 100% stainless steel  It features a 1/2" Full Port ball valve and a 1/2" barb.  The inner barbed elbow is 3/8".  Features a 1/2" MPT outlet for hooking up your ball valve directly, along with FPT on the inside for connecting any brewing accessory you might want!  NOTE: You will need to drill a 1" hole for installation of this weldless spigot. We recommend a Step Drill Bit for this.    Please note: this item is a kit of our Weldless Ball Valve and a MPT x Barb Elbow fitting. You will need to to thread the elbow into the bulkhead after installing it on your kettle.

  • Kit (All Grain) - Sorry Aboot Brunch Stout - PLACEHOLDER Kit (All Grain) - Sorry Aboot Brunch Stout - PLACEHOLDER

Sorry Aboot Brunch Stout | Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout® Clone | 5 Gallon Beer Recipe Kit | All-Grain

    1 review

Inspired by Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout®, this kit combines our All Out Brunch Stout recipe with an addition of maple syrup and Canadian whiskey-soaked oak chips Includes Nugget and Willamette hops Estimated ABV: 7.5% Estimated IBUs: 60 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Only a hoser would pass up the chance to brew a stout influenced by the Great White North. Similar to "All Out", this recipe combines a variety of dark malts, cacao nibs, and ground coffee for a remarkably rich flavor profile, and then takes it to new vistas with an addition of maple syrup and Canadian whiskey-soaked oak chips. The maple syrup and oak chips are added to simulate the barrel-aging process used for making Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout®, or "CBS". The result is a deeply complex stout that would have Bob and Doug McKenzie swearing off Elsinore beer after one sip. Not to cause a kerfuffle, but patience is key when brewing Sorry Aboot Brunch Stout. We recommend conditioning the beer for 2 to 6 months after the oak chips are added. Best enjoyed in your favorite tuque with a box of Timbits. Please note: this recipe calls for 2 oz of Kona and Sumatra coffee grounds, 16 oz of Maple Syrup, and 1 cup of Canadian Whiskey, which are not included in the kit. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.078 SRM (Color Range): 40+ IBUs: 60 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 7.5% Oak Chips Included Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. • Malt - IREKS Sour Malt (Acidulated Malt) - Per Lb (Showroom Only)

Sour Malt | Acidulated Malt | IREKS Malt

Contains up to 4.5% natural lactic acid to precisely adjust mash pH, promoting enhanced enzyme activity By optimizing mash pH, this acidulated malt directly contributes to a higher brewhouse yield Use as up to 5% of your grain bill IREKS Sour Malt, also known as acidulated malt or saurmaltz, with its natural lactic acid content of up to 4.5% is an excellent solution for precisely adjusting mash pH. Compared to typical sour malts, IREKS contains roughly double the lactic acid, allowing you to use as little as half the amount to achieve the same results. This optimization directly supports enhanced enzyme activity, leading to a higher brewhouse yield. The ideal addition rate of IREKS Sour Malt will vary for each brewery. Factors such as brewing water quality, mashing schedule, and grist composition all influence the precise amount needed for optimal results. Comparable to Weyermann Acidulated Malt, but IREKS Sour Malt has a much higher lactic acid content of up to 4.5% rather than the 1-2% of the Weyermann. IREKS Sour Malt is able to achieve the same pH adjustment with less usage in the overall grain bill.  Malt Specification: Color °L - 0.9-2.3 Moisture % - max. 8.0 pH Value - 3.35-3.70 Usage Rate - Up to 5%

BrewZilla | DigiBoil | Adjustable Lid Clamps | Stainless Steel | Set of 4

Adjust clamp tension as needed for a better seal with metal BrewZilla or DigiBoil accessories If you're struggling to get an airtight seal when using the Distillation Lid or Steam Condenser Set, these clamps can help provide more tension Easily spin to adjust clamp height and then tighten hex nuts to lock in adjustment Compatible with 35L / 65L BrewZillas and DigiBoils Made from 304 Stainless Steel Get the exact tension you need with your BrewZilla or DigiBoil with KegLand's Stainless Steel Adjustable Clamp Set. Permanently replace the standard lid clamps and adjust the tension to your needs. These clamps are only intended for use with the metal Distillation Lid or Boiler Extension Kits. If you are having trouble getting the correct tension to form a good seal with those accessories, these adjustable clamps can help you dial in the fit. They should never be used with the standard glass lid. Compatible with 35L and 65L BrewZillas (Gen 3 / Gen 4), DigiBoils (Gen 1 / Gen 2), and Boiler Extensions. Installation Instructions: You will need a pair of bolt cutters or tin snips to cut the standard clamp off. (Please see product photos for optimum cut location). Remove the nut and bolt and thread it through the clamp. Ensure that the grooved part is facing outwards (photo for reference). If you do not have the grooved part facing outwards, the clamp will be blocked by the round lip of the boiler. Loosen the bolts and spin the clamp up or down to adjust the tension. Use the nuts to lock the desired tension. It is always best to start looser than you think, then adjust tighter. Warning: Do not use the adjustable clamps with a glass lid, the clamps are only designed for distillation lids or other metal accessories. Please note: The adjustable clamps will eventually phase out the standard lid clamps on all Gen 4 BrewZillas. They are not necessary when brewing with the standard glass lid. You should only swap to the adjustable clamps if you are using the metal distillation lid or boiler extensions and are having issues with getting the correct tension when using those accessories. FermZilla Tri-Conical Easy-Grip Pressure Fermenter Starter Kit | 27L | 7.1G

    3 reviews

A best seller for a reason! Tons of features at an incredible cost Crystal Clear super smooth PET makes fermenting and cleaning super easy 3" Butterfly valve at bottom makes removing yeast/trub easy with the 600mL collection jar. Pressurizable for fermentation and closed transfer to your keg Includes BlowTie spunding valve kit, red & yellow carbonation caps, and floating dip tube as standard The FermZilla is the perfect option for brewers that want all the advantages of a conical fermenter without the price tag of a full-blown stainless-steel unit. It allows you to dump trub, harvest yeast, and with the addition of CO2 cylinder and regulator, you can carbonate and serve – all in one vessel! The clear PET tank allows you to visually monitor fermentation activity and is pressure rated to 2.4 Bar (34.8 psi), which means you can ferment under pressure, reducing ester and fusel alcohols in your finished beer. This also gives the ability to perform pressure transfers. If you prefer to move your finished beer to a keg or other vessel, you can do so with little to no oxygen exposure. The FermZilla Tri-Conical Easy-Grip model comes packed with accessories so you can take full advantage of this pressurizable fermenter on day one. The new stock standard includes Easy-Grip threaded lid ring, BlowTie spunding valve with integrated pressure gauge, ball lock carbonation caps for the lid, floating dip tube kit with weighted filter, volume marker graduation sticker, and adhesive thermometer.  What's Included: FermZilla 27L Tank with 3" T.C. Bottom Port Easy-Grip Threaded Lid Ring Integrated Gauge BlowTie Kit Spunding Valve (0-15 psi) Silicone Dip Tube Kit with Yellow Weighted Filter and SS Float (1) Yellow Liquid Carbonation Cap (1) Red Gas Carbonation Cap Fermzilla Pressure Lid with Red PRV (35 psi) 3" T.C. Butterfly Valve 600 mL Collection Container with 3" T.C. Connection Stainless Steel Stand with Swing Handles 3" tri-clamp with gasket Graduation Sticker Adhesive Thermometer Specs: 27 L (7.1 gal) Total Volume Pressure Rated to 2.4 Bar (34.8 psi) Height in Stand - 30.2" Tank Diameter - 13.9" Diameter in Stand - 15.3" Lid & Collection Container Ports - 28 mm PCO 1881 threads Temperature Rating: When not under pressure, do not expose to liquids above 131°F When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F* *Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years. Please note: when using the FermZilla under pressure, you must perform a water pressure check to ensure your connections are leak proof. To do this, fill your FermZilla up with water, apply at least 15 psi pressure, and check for leaks around all caps and threads.   Pressure Stress If you use the FermZilla to ferment under pressure, or you use CO2 to pressure transfer or force carbonate your finished beer, it is very important that you conduct semi-annual inspections of your tank. Even with perfect care, the FermZilla tank may show signs of wear from pressure stress over time. We recommend visually inspecting your tank for stress creases or other signs of wear once or twice a year. A hydro test should be conducted every two years, even if no signs of wear are found. The process is simple: Fill the tank to the brim with water Replace the Red PRV with a Green PRV rated to 4.5 BAR or higher Pressurize the tank to 4 BAR (58 psi) Check for leaks, then replace the Red PRV when finished If leaks or potential points of failure are found, replace the tank before you continue using pressure with your FermZilla. General Care Taking good care of your FermZilla begins with cleaning and sanitizing the unit before and after use. The tank is made from food-grade PET, which is beautifully clear, but can be sensitive to long soaks in cleaners and acid-based sanitizers. In general, we do not recommend leaving products like PBW or StarSan soaking in the tank for more than an hour. Extended soaks have the potential to degrade the PET material and shorten the lifespan of the tank.   KegLand Part number: KL47296 NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary. FermZilla Tri-Conical 27L & 55L | User Guide

BrewZilla PPSU Sight Glass Upgrade Kit

    2 reviews

Upgrade Gen 3 and Gen 4 BrewZillas with a clear sight glass to monitor volume levels throughout your brewing process Replaces the solid metal recirculation pipe so you can check volume levels even while the malt pipe is draining The PPSU sight glass now comes standard on Gen 4.1 BrewZillas *Requires measuring, cutting, and assembly* This upgrade kit is suitable for BrewZilla Gen 3 and Gen 4 breweries. This will enable you to see the liquid level through the incredibly strong and crack resistant PPSU sight glass. This can be quite handy when you're sparging to a known level as the malt pipe would normally be sitting on top of the halo ring making it difficult to see the liquid level from the indentation markings inside the BrewZilla. Assembly Required: You will also need plumbers tape or food grade Loctite for the female camlock x female 1/2" fitting that comes on the BrewZilla's recirculation arm. The BrewZilla's camlock fitting is reused in the assembly of the sight glass, do not dispose of it prematurely. Please note: This kit includes a one size fits all sight glass for multiple models and sizes. You will need to cut down the 39" PPSU tube to fit your specific model of BrewZilla depending on the length of the recirculation arm. We recommend purchasing the Pipe Cutter to cut the tube cleanly. See the video below showing you how to measure and install this on a BrewZilla. Includes: Brewzilla Sight Glass PPSU Tube - 39.3" (100cm) Sight Glass Connection Kit (Ball valve & Elbow) Sight Glass Graduation Sticker for 35L, 65L or 100L

Our single-hop Hazy IPA series dedicated to expressing the newest hops when they hit the scene Includes 100% Nectaron® hops from boil, to whirlpool, to dry hopping Nectaron® Flavor/Aroma: Grapefruit, peach, pineapple Estimated ABV: 6.7% Estimated IBUs: 32 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Heavenly Haze is our series of single-hop Hazy IPAs. Whenever a hip new hop hits the scene, we're as excited to brew with it as you are! We developed Heavenly Haze to use a straight-forward hazy IPA malt bill as a base that's shared between all Heavenly Haze recipe kits—the only thing that changes is your hop of choice! This allows you to really zero in on the different flavors and aromas of one particular hop, and it's how we recommend experiencing a new hop you haven't brewed with before. We'll continue to expand our Heavenly Haze series to include newly released hops that are perfect for NEIPAs, as well as circle back to include some of our favorite hazy hops that have long been available. Nectaron® is a dual purpose hop with intense notes of grapefruit, peach, and pineapple. Well suited for all hop forward styles including IPAs, New England IPAs, and Hazy Pale Ales. A triploid aroma type, developed in collaboration with New Zealand’s Plant & Food Research. Nectaron® Brand HORT4337 is a full sister to Waimea. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.061-66 SRM (Color Range): 4-5 IBUs: 32 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 6.7% Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Nectaron® is a trademark owned by New Zealand Hops Limited Company

    BA-11 Dry Wine Yeast

    3 reviews

BA1 was selected in 1997 near Estacao Vitivinicola de Barraida in Portugal. It has excellent fermentation kinetics, even at low temperatures. It promotes clean, aromatic, estery characteristics during fermentation. BA1 intensifies mouthfeel and augments lingering flavors in both still and sparkling white wines. BA1 encourages the fresh fruit aromas of orange blossom, pineapple and apricot. In relatively neutral white varieties BA1 brings out tropical fruit, cream, vanilla and spice. With fruit from hot climates, BA1 can really help to "flesh out" a wine by its' volume and mouthfeel enhancement. This strain is good by itself, as well as being a great structural component to a blend. Best results from 50 to 77 degrees F, and alcohol tolerant to 16%. Download the PDF Download the PDF

Our Signature Series kits offer a selection of crazy, unique beers developed by MoreBeer! customers, associates, and homebrewing legends! Paler in color and more hop-forward than a traditional bock Includes Magnum and Saaz hops Estimated ABV: 6.7% Estimated IBUs: 54-58 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Gary Glass started homebrewing in 1992, shortly after tasting his first homebrew while attending while attending college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Gary brews on a home-built HERMS system, and he?s never brewed the same recipe twice and can't brew any recipe without some kind of tweaking. Gary is a BJCP judge who has judge in many competitions including the World Beer Cup and the Great American Beer Festival. Gary holds a Masters Degree in American Diplomacy from the University of Colorado at Boulder. When not homebrewing, he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and backpacking in the Rocky Mountains. He's also into gardening (his Cascades finally produced a good crop this year!), home improvement projects, and building furniture. Gary lives in Longmont, Colorado with his wife Erin, who fully supports his brewing habit, bought him a conical fermenter and is encouraging him to install taps in their family room. He knows you are jealous. Gary is looking forward to teaching his daughter, who is due in November, to brew someday. Gary enlightens us on how to authentically brew his beer: "This recipe can be brewed as either a Maibock or a Belgian strong ale. The beer was originally brewed as a 10.5 gallon batch split into two carboys with yeast slurry from previously brewed pilsner. To accurately recreate the Belgian strong ale, one should accidentally pour hot wort (due to user error with a counter-flow chiller) onto lager yeast slurry, being sure to thoroughly cook the yeast. Chill, then pitch a vial of Belgian ale yeast. The Maibock came out great, the Belgian strong even better. Of course, if you don't feel like attempting to cook yeast to make this beer, a nice big starter of Belgian ale yeast should do the trick." Sounds great to us! • Plastic Carboy - 3 Gallon - Vintage Shop (Solid)

Plastic PET Carboy - 3 Gallon

    3 reviews

Your days of lugging heavy glass carboys around are over thanks to these plastic carboys! Our Plastic Carboys are made from 100% Virgin PET plastic, which is far more resistant to oxygen than regular plastic. They’re much lighter and safer than glass, which is good if you need to move your fermenter around the house to find the right temperature. Full carboys can be heavy and hard to maneuver and glass can break resulting in possible injury. In addition to being safer to handle, they’re more economical than glass as well. With no ribs on the sides, there’s no place for yeast and sediment to collect, making cleaning a breeze. We suggest cleaning them with an overnight PBW soak, shake, rinse, and sanitize. You’ll want to avoid vigorous scrubbing during cleaning to avoid scratches.   Two special features we love about our PET Carboys are the punted base and extra head space. The punted base makes the carboy easier to hold while carrying or pouring, and prevents sediment disturbance during transfers. The extra head space is a huge plus to make sure you have enough room for when your fermentation gets going.   Specifications: Uses a #10 stopper or a 5 Gallon Carboy Hood. Weighs 1.0 lbs Rated to 140 degrees F Height: 16 inches Diameter: 9 inches Completely taste and odor free  Carboys can withstand up to 15 psi of pressure with no deformation Punted base to prevent sediment disturbances during transfer

If you want to install the Temp Twister & Thermowell on your FermZilla's plastic lid, this step drill bit is the recommended tool for the job. Suitable for drilling holes in plastic, wood, stainless steel, and other metals. You can use this drill bit to install valves or bulkheads on a stainless kettle, bore out a hole for a draft shank, or drill out the pilot hole found on many KegLand drip trays. For best results when drilling through metal, make sure to drill slowly (less than 600 rpm). Apply significant pressure behind the drill as you cut through. Cutting lubricant is recommended. Note that fast drill speeds will cause the metal and the bit to heat up which can shorten the lifespan of the drill bit.
