TWO - 240VAC 30AMP GFCI Dedicated Circuits Required Designing every piece of our electric brewing equipment from scratch has enabled us to introduce a new level of process control, flexibility, and performance.  Every detail has been carefully thought through and refined. Beginning with control, our eControllers include a fully proportional PID output, which doesn't rely on SSR's or high speed switching to modulate heat.  Instead, voltage is modulated, this means element wattage is proportional, and can be fine-tuned from 0-100% for holding temps steady during a mash rest, or dialing in a perfect rolling boil.  The eController quickly finds equilibrium with environmental heat loss characteristics, and can maintain a high degree of accuracy. Next, we thought about the best way to maintain a high level of flexibility.  One such method was using a common interconnect throughout our line of eControllers and eKettles, in an attempt to minimize proprietary connectors, and leverage trusted UL approved connector types.  The modularity of our eBrewing system allows a user to splice an HLT or Boil Kettle into their system for instance, without having to purchase an entirely new 3 vessel brewhouse. In addition, flexibility is realized through the use of our custom-designed element and eKettle element port, which allows for easy removal of the element for cleaning.  In addition, we didn't settle for a common, off the shelf straight or ripple element.  Instead, we designed a low watt density halo element, specifically sized to the corresponding kettle volume.  This design is better suited to distributing heat evenly throughout the kettle, in addition to fostering an effective whirlpool and trub cone formation.  Crafted from Incoloy 800 alloy, our element carries a higher resistance to heat and oxidation than standard stainless.  Lastly, performance is deeply important to everything we design. We sized the element and controller in both 10 and 20 gallon sizes to maximize a standard 240 VAC, 30 amp residential circuit.  As a result ramp times are quick, which work to shorten the brew day. We also wanted to blend some of our latest product enhancements alongside some of our classic tech. So we decided on a kettle with fully welded TC fittings, alongside our venerable trub dam, which is now paired with a TC ball valve.   Even small aesthetic details were not overlooked, such as a front to back handle orientation for a more compact horizontal brewhouse layout. Or integrating a PT100 temperature probe into the heating element base, which alleviates the need for a dedicated thermowell port.  For the 3V eBrewing system, we are combining an eController 3V along with a pair of eKettles (one as an HLT and one as a Boil Kettle) and an InfuSsion Mashtun paired with our RIMS. This system includes the following: eController 3V (2) eKettles with Elements InfuSsion Mash Tun RIMS All 304 Stainless eKettle with Fully welded TC Fittings 1.5" TC ball valve port with trub dam 1.5" TC accessory port 2" TC element port with proprietary element locknut system 5500 Watt Halo Heating Elements 3500 Watt RIMS Element Integrated PT100 temperature probe L6-30 connector molded into element base Anodized aluminum controller housing Omron PID controller with Proportional Control Auto and Manual mode switching (2) 120 VAC Accessory receptacles

  • MB - Commercial Grain Mill - 2205lbs/hr - 3kw - 220V - 3 Phase - Stainless Steel MB - Commercial Grain Mill - 2205lbs/hr - 3kw - 220V - 3 Phase - Stainless Steel

    MB® Commercial Grain Mill | 2,200 lbs/hr | Differential Roller Speed | Slotted Steel Alloy Rollers | Mill Gap Adjustment Wheels | 4 HP | 220V

Get your brew day started faster with the MB commercial grain mill—process an entire pallet of malt in an hour! Adjustable grain flow rate to slow the mill down to match your mashing speed Differential roller speed applies enough force to open the grain kernels as they pass through the rollers without damaging the husk, improving efficiency and lauter performance Slotted rollers more effectively expose the starchy endosperm inside the kernel compared to knurled rollers Rollers made from steel alloy which is harder and longer lasting than stainless steel 0.4mm to 1mm (.016"-.039") mill gap is easily dialed in with handled adjustment wheels Professional quality grain mill with stainless steel construction throughout The MB commercial-grade mill can process upwards of 2,000 lbs of grain per hour and features large diameter slotted alloy rollers for an excellent crush and long life. This mill can easily power through whatever you throw at it, including barley, wheat, rye, and corn. Differential Roller Speed Rotating the rollers at different speeds is the key to a superior crush. Standard grain mills rotate the rollers at the same speed, creating a pinch point between them where the grain kernels are cracked open. Although effective, this can often lead to an excess of flour and damaged grain husks. The MB pro mill drives the rollers at different speeds to apply enough force to open the grain kernels as they pass through the rollers without damaging the husk. This action results in a better crush that will improve efficiency and lauter performance. Slotted Rollers Many grain mills feature hardened steel knurled rollers due to the lower cost, but they don't provide the best crush possible. Rather than shredding the grain into submission, slotted rollers (also known as fluted rollers) are more effective at shearing the grain husk to expose the endosperm while leaving the hull intact. The rollers are made from steel alloy which are harder and longer lasting than stainless steel. This roller features a 155mm diameter, which lowers the angle of attack on the kernel and allows the mill to pull grain more efficiently. Professional Quality The MB pro mill is an industrial workhorse and the best value for a commercial mill on the market. The hopper capacity is 55 lbs of grain and large adjustment wheels make for easy gap adjustments. Stainless steel construction throughout, and anchor holes in the feet allow the unit to be bolted to the ground. Specifications: Processing Speed: approx. 2,200 lbs/hr Hopper Capacity: 55 lbs Voltage: 208V/220V 3-phase motor Power: 4 HP Amperage: 8.3 amps Mill Gap: 0.4mm - 1mm Mill Roller Size: 155mm diameter, 110mm long Please Note: The unit will arrive bare without a power cord, plug, or controls to power the motor on or off. You will need an electrician to wire the appropriate power cord and shutoff switch to the motor. Please Note: This unit REQUIRES 208-220V Three Phase power and will not function on anything else. Please confirm that you have the proper power for this unit before purchasing, and plan to have a qualified electrician install a fused shutoff and wire directly to the included on/off switch.

Heavy-duty HDPE plastic fermentation and stoarge tank Made from food-safe materials with extra thick walls to preserve the aroma of your beverage Rotating plastic spigot eliminates the need to use an auto-siphon or racking arm to transfer liquid Wide top port opening for easy cleaning Airlock & stopper included Made in Germany by Speidel The future is here today, and the future is HDPE Fermentation & Storage Tanks from Speidel. Made in Germany from nothing but undyed and food-safe plastic, these tanks are produced with particularly thick walls which preserves the aroma and the alcohol for a markedly long time. The stable carrying handles have been tried and tested for decades and are extremely durable. Are you tired of carboys? Hate siphoning to transfer? Well then have we got the solution for you! These heavy duty plastic tanks offer a fantastic fermentation & storage solution at a great price. Key Features: Heavy duty HDPE construction is durable and resists oxygen transfer. None of the risks of working with glass. Small footprint and rectangular shape makes them easy to store - take better advantage of the space you have to dedicate to wine & beer making. Built-in handles make these tanks easy to move, even when full. Large lid opening makes them easy to clean by hand - say goodbye to your carboy brush! All ports seal with gaskets and the vessel can be fully sealed for long-term storage. Includes a spigot and oversized 2-piece Speidel airlock. Designed and manufactured in Germany by Speidel, the makers of our legendary commercial wine tanks 26"L x 18"W x 26"H, 11 lbs FAQ: Can filled containers be carried by the handles? Depending on the weight—barrels up to 30L are no problem—60L is the limit and should not be carried when completely full. The handles have a weight capacity of 30kg (66 lbs). Is there an upper limit on the alcohol content of the stored liquid? In principle, there is not. However, it should be noted that the higher the alcohol content, the faster the seals and, to a lesser extent, the tank itself will wear out. Up to what temperature can the containers be used? For short periods of time the containers can withstand temperatures of up to 80°C (176°F). This temperature should not be exceeded. For longer periods of time the containers can be used at temperatures up to 60°C (140°F).

  • Filter Sheets - Filtrox Versafix XE 104 - 20 cm x 20 cm - PLACEHOLDER

    Filtrox Filter Sheets | 20 cm x 20 cm | 0.7 Micron

20 cm x 20 cm filter pads fit all standard 20x20 plate filters, which are typically used by home winemakers 0.7 Micron for ultra-fine polishing of wine or for preparing hard to filter wines to go through a sterile cartridge filter Easily sterilizable via heat or steam Manufactured by Filtrox, the world's leading producer of high-quality filtration media 20cm x 20cm filter pads made for 20x20 plate filters. 0.7 micron pads are for ultra-fine polishing of the wine, or for preparing hard to filter wines to go through a sterile cartridge filter. Please note that all pad filters are rated 'nominal', meaning that about 90-95% of all particulate matter at the micron rating will be filtered out. There will always be a little bit of smaller material that is also filtered out, as well as some larger material that will make it through. The filters can be sterilized by in-line steam, auto-claving, dry heat, hot water or chemical methods. We choose to run Saniclean solution through the pads followed by sterile water or a small amount of wine that is then discarded. After the solution is run through the pads, and the pads have softened, the filter will need to be re-tightened. Each pad has an entry side and an exit side, distinguishable by their different textures. The entry side is a billowy type texture, frequently called the "rough" side; and the exit side has a crosshatch pattern and is commonly called the "smooth" side.
