New Liquid Oak Tannins produced by Toasted Oak Inc. are water based, French Oak Tannin concentrates, designed to easily integrate smooth and flavorful oak character into a wine, without the cost or hassle of traditional oak barrels. While powdered tannins are similarly cost effective, there will be some loss of flavor and texture due to the high temperatures necessary to evaporate all liquid out. Liquid Oak Tannins are the perfect balance of oak barrel flavor, and pure tannin cost.
Aside from the beneficial flavor impact of these products, they are also easier to add to the wine and assure even dilution. These Liquid Oak Tannins are for red and white wines. Please do bench trials carefully when considering their use in white wines. Additions may cause filterability(and stability) changes. Do not exceed 30% of normal red wine dosing for white wines.
Fruit Enhancer Plus has more proanthocyanidic tannin components to emphasize a ripe berry character and a fruity, aromatic style. It has to be carefully dosed as it will have a strong influence on the existing character of the wine. Works best on red wine to accentuate a ripe berry character (Black Cherry character).

LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

The Torpedo Cocktail Keg is the ideal vessel for serving pre-mixed cocktails and other concoctions on draft. The corny keg style lid makes it easy to pour in your beverage of choice without having to fuss with removing the spear like with standard commercial sanke kegs. Hook up a D-Style keg coupler to begin carbonating the beverage from the bottom up. These kegs provide the added advantage of fully carbonating the entire cocktail. When making drinks on the fly, carbonation is lost quickly since you're mixing carbonated and still ingredients together. But when served from a fully carbonated keg, you can enjoy the bubbles in your glass for longer!

Even the most perfectly sealed keg is susceptible to oxygen ingress through the hatch O-ring—yes, even if the keg is under constant pressure with CO2! Even a leak-free, pressurized keg will release CO2 molecules as they pass through the lid O-ring itself, and conversely, Oxygen molecules will permeate through the O-ring and diffuse into the keg when they reach the surface area on the other side. The level of permeability is wide ranging and highly dependent on what material the O-ring is made from. Rather than the usual EPDM or Silicone, Low2 gaskets are made from a unique composition of Synthetic M-Class and Cross-Link Elastomers. This special blend has superior oxygen barrier properties that results in your beverage staying fresher for longer.

A portable mini-regulator with all the features of a full sized regulator! Perfect for parties and gatherings where you don’t want to haul around a large canister and hoses. A lot of great features packed into a very small package.
The regulator has a range of .5-1.5 bars (7-21 psi). This means that, unlike KEG950 that shoots in CO2 at fixed pressure, the mini-reg allows you to precisely dial in pressure and keep it there. It utilizes a disposable 74 gram CO2 cartridge, which is the largest size that can be shipped full. This is a two stage mini-regulator, meaning that it takes the pressure down from 800psi (cartridge pressure) to a lower pressure and then to your set pressure of around 10psi. Two stage regulators are the only way to have consistent pressure. One 74 gram cartridge will typically dispense one 5 gallon keg.
The mini CO2 regulator does not have an internal check valve. To add a check valve, use the regulator with KEG741.

Stainless Fermenter
We've seen a lot our customers having great success using the 6-gallon Torpedo Keg as a stainless steel fermenter or "kegmenter". The extra headroom that this size offers makes it a great option for fermenting 5-gallon batches. We highly recommend using CellarScience Foam Axe if you're fermenting in the keg. Foam Axe will help reduce krausen buildup, cutting down the chance of clogging issues with the ball lock poppets and the PRV in the keg lid. It should also be noted that leaving your finished beer on the leftover trub from fermentation for too long will eventually lead to off-flavors. If it won't be consumed in 2-3 weeks, transfer your beer to a fresh keg using the Torpedo Keg Buoy which will pick up the clearest beer and leave the sediment behind.

Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

A set of "elbows" is great for connecting hoses to a pump so they run parallel to each other. With 2" and 3" hose, this dramatically reduces the space needed to allow the pump to pass. In addition, having the lines run parallel makes the pump more agile when moving around the winery when connected.
Silicone gaskets have a much wider temperature range than EPDM gaskets and are recommended for hot side applications. They are less resistant to acids and caustic chemicals, and may show signs of wear faster than EPDM gaskets.

The screen has a mesh size of 16 which will block particles larger than 1.19mm or 1190 microns. This mesh size makes this screen ideal for use in a filer setup with activated carbon.
