Torpedo Keg Pressure Pack - CO2 Regulator & Quick Disconnect (QD)

    Description

Due to high demand, this item is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory.

Everything you need to pressurize your keg on the go. Comes with a mini regulator, CO2 cartridge, and quick disconnect.

A portable mini-regulator with all the features of a full sized regulator! Perfect for parties and gatherings where you don’t want to haul around a large canister and hoses. A lot of great features packed into a very small package.

The regulator has a range of .5-1.5 bars (7-21 psi). This means that, unlike KEG950 that shoots in CO2 at fixed pressure, the mini-reg allows you to precisely dial in pressure and keep it there. It utilizes a disposable 74 gram CO2 cartridge, which is the largest size that can be shipped full. This is a two stage mini-regulator, meaning that it takes the pressure down from 800psi (cartridge pressure) to a lower pressure and then to your set pressure of around 10psi. Two stage regulators are the only way to have consistent pressure. One 74 gram cartridge will typically dispense one 5 gallon keg.

The mini CO2 regulator does not have an internal check valve. To add a check valve, use the regulator with KEG741.

Great (but DO NOT unscrew gas canister once attached)

I hooked this up to test for leaks. Went to unscrew the gas and realized (with a loud gunshot bang) that the co2 canister doesn’t self-seal. Needless to say my ears are still ringing. I didn’t see any warnings related to this on the package so just leaving a note to future buyers. Once you attach the CO2, LEAVE IT ATTACHED UNTIL EMPTY!

        Terrific

This is so handy. Works great. Carbonated and pushed the entire 5 gallon keg.

        Nifty part

This with either the 1.5- or 2.5-gallon Torpedo keg, a cleaned plastic (picnic) faucet, and a mini-tub (or cooler) filled with ice makes a good impression at any gathering. If pressure drops, make sure you dialed it high enough and wait until it builds back up.

Do you guys sell a thread adapter to hook up a 12-20oz refillable paintball tank instead of the disposable "cartridges"?

        MoreBeer!

At this time we do not offer an adapter to use this regulator with a larger CO2 cartridge or tank.

Should I have any concern about backflow damaging this item?

        MoreBeer!

The mini CO2 regulator does not have an internal check valve. To add a check valve use the regulator with KEG741.

        MoreBeer!

No. It has a back flow restriction check valve and is of upmost quality for a keg regulator. I’m pleased with it keep it in it’s package when not using so it’s protected. Hope this helps you complete your purchase. Bye.

Will this work on a ball lock soda keg?

        MoreBeer!

Yep! It will screw right o to the gas in fitting.

        MoreBeer!

Yes it will . On any corny keg. Ball lock. Works great with the torpedo kegs as well. one 74g CO2 cartridge will dispense a 5 gallon keg.

        MoreBeer!

Yes it will! The CO2 cartridge will easily push the volume of a 5.17 gl keg can’t carb with it though. Just hook a picnic tap to the out line with enough hose to balance the pressure to avoid excessive foam.

        MoreBeer!

Yes but if you plan on leaving it attached for a period of days to weeks I recommend turning it down to zero or better just disconnect it and only attach it when you want to dispense. I have trouble keeping it from leaking all the CO2 out and those cartridges are expensive.

        MoreBeer!

Yes it will and it works amazingly!

        MoreBeer!

Yes. That’s exactly how I use it. Good luck.

Is this regulator aluminum or stainless steel?

        MoreBeer!

        Stainless

        MoreBeer!

        Stainless

        MoreBeer!

It is stainless. This is a good quality piece of equipment and I am very happy with the 2 that I bought.
