MoreBeer!'s Patent Pending sparge arm design is the perfect addition to almost any all grain setup! This sparge arm assembly is made completely of stainless steel and silicone, and has two adjustment points. One of these will help to hold the sparge arm against your kettle, while the other allows you to move the sparge arm up or down inside the kettle to accommodate different amounts of grain. These adjustment knobs are very easy to hand tighten and loosen, meaning no tools are necessary. Excellent for sparging as well as recirculating your mash in a RIMS or HERMS system!
To use, simply install on your kettle wall, tighten down the stopper bumper to hold the sparge arm in place, adjust the height of the bottom disc to be right above your grain bed but below the mash tun's water level, and adjust the flow level using the included ball valve. This unit will not include a barb or quick disconnect on the inlet of the ball valve, as every brewery is different. Please choose an inlet attachment from the sparge arms recommended items. Note - This sparge arm will not fit on most coolers. Make sure to check out the video in the video tab below.
Features
100% stainless and silicone construction
Two adjustment knobs make it extremely universal
Included ball valve allows you to increase or decrease the flow rate during sparge or recirculation
Included check ball will prevent back flow
Can adjust from the top of your kettle to 12-13 inches down into your kettle
A single, large diameter outlet port trickles onto a stainless disc, which distributes sparge water gently and evenly. This port is also much easier to flush out and keep clean than many other sparge assemblies with multiple small holes that grain gets stuck in during recirculation
Stainless tube measures 18.5" from the top to the bend, and 8.5" from the bottom to the center of the distribution disc.
Can be mounted on a lip that is up to 7/8" wide
Has a 1/2" FPT ball valve

Makes 5 gallons of finished beer
We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: Ultralight malt extract, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Cleans dozens of bottles quickly! Imagine a system that lets you sanitize bottles 12 at a time, temporarily store them while they drain upside down, and then flush them with inert gas prior to filling. This bottle rinsing base and rack system is your dream come true! The base portion of the system connects to a water supply for rinsing or to your inert gas system for purging/flushing. In our ideal plan you have two bases. One is used for rinsing, the other, sitting right next to it, is used for purging. You can put the rinsing base in a tub that is re-circulating with sanitizing solution (such as: CL27) or just drain to the ground if you are working outside. *Note: Bottle Racks are sold separately. You will need to buy as many racks (CE971) as needed. Each rack holds 12 bottles. Comes with a female garden hose fitting attached to a plastic 1/2" barb fitting on the unit. 12.25" L x 10.75" W x 3" H Max Temp: 167° F (75° C)

The perfect pump for use after fermentation! Self-priming and easy to use for transfers between carboys or kegs
Included pre-filter removes solids from your liquid and features a quick disconnect design to easily remove the filter for cleaning
Adjustable flow rate from 0 to 3 gallons for gentle transfers and slowly pushing finished beer through plate filters
Diaphragm pumps are gentle on the liquid passing through them with much less turbulence and aeration compared to magnetic drive pumps
The Vintage Shop has been a pioneer in the manufacturing of products for the home wine and beer industry since 1969
Includes tubing and clamps—ready to use out of the box!
Why This is a Great Pump:
Self-Priming
Heat Tolerant materials to 212°F when used with Silicone tubing
Speed Control!
Gentle Diaphragm Design
Self Priming: This pump is capable of pumping gasses, meaning that pumping does not require priming! This makes transfers between carboys or kegs incredibly easy. Simply put both inlet and outlet hoses in a bucket of sanitizer and run the pump for a minute. You're then good to transfer your beer with your sanitized pump!
Removable Pre-Filter: This is something which is almost always necessary on diaphragm pumps, as the diaphragm itself is very delicate, and can be ruined by small solids. The pre-filter included on this pump will work to keep solids out of the pump, extending the working life of the unit. And the filter can be removed between uses for cleaning.
Heat Tolerant: All materials used in the construction of the pump tolerate temperatures up to 212°F when used with heat tolerant tubing such as silicone. Because the pump comes with vinyl tubing you would need to replace that tubing with silicone.
Speed Control: Perhaps the most unique feature is a dial control to adjust flow from 0 to 3 gallons per minute. Use it to send your wort from the kettle to the fermenter, or even after fermentation to send beer through a plate filter (such as our FIL45).
Gentle on your Beer: A diaphragm pump works by moving beer through one pulsating diaphragm into the next. It is a design that is very gentle on the liquid being pumped.
When this pump was first introduced to us, we loved the idea, but had concerns that the speed control would compromise the longevity of the motor. We've built much larger pumps and normally you need a $700 frequency drive to control motor speed. However, we've been selling this pump since the mid-2000s and it continues to perform well and receive excellent customer feedback.
This pump comes with 1/2" barbed ports for easy connectivity
Comes with 4' tubing on both sides
Heat Tolerant materials to 212°F (when used with silicone tubing)
110 Volts, 0.5 Amp, 60 Hz.

Do you have specific wine making questions you need answered? Would you like to see several hundred of the most frequently asked questions submitted to WineMaker Magazine over the past few years?
If you answered yes to either of the above questions you will love this new book from Alison Crowe, the Columnist for WineMaker's monthly FAQ section. We think it is a must have for the new winemaker's library and a fun short read book for airline trips, swinging in a hammock in Belize, reading in the John, or even while you make a batch of wine.

This stainless steel thermowell is the same one used with many of the hood and stopper thermowells we sell, such as the FE625 and FE624B. It is also a direct replacement for the thermowell used with the BrewBuilt CoolStix™ for Carboy fermenters. Specifications: 15" long 1/4" inner diameter 5/16" outer diameter Made from 304 stainless steel Will not work with Johnson Temperature Controllers (FE60 or FE61) because the probes are too large.
Looking to add a thermowell to your Speidel plastic fermenter? This is the perfect way to do it. This thermowell replaces the airlock on top of your fermenter and uses the standard Speidel locking nut and gasket. The rubber grommet will fit standard 3/8 in. airlocks and the thermowell will accept most temperature probes.
The probe is 12" and will fit most 1/4" digital temp probes.
Please note that while using the stock spigot lock ring and gasket for the thermowell, you will have to use the solid locking cap where the spigot is normally located. In order to use the thermowell and spigot silmultaneously, you will need to purchase a second spigot or lock nut.
This is the threaded manifold which is used on the bottom of the press to join the water inlet, pressure relief and pressure gauge assemblies to one another and to the main center shaft of the press.
DOES NOT WORK on Speidel presses, which have a different bottom assembly.
New and improved with the professional brewer in mind, the Tilt Pro is the bigger, badder version of the original Tilt Hydrometer. With three times the volume and weight as the original unit, the Tilt Pro's larger size allows for more than double the batter life. With preinstalled Energizer® AA lithium batteries, the Pro will stay powered for up to 5 years depending on usage. So much time you may forget your Tilt actually runs on a battery!
The extra size and weight come with an added bonus: improved specific gravity stability at high krausen, so you will see a steadier read-out on your iPhone, Android, or Raspberry Pi. In addition, Tilt Pro has boosted the range with a high-gain antenna that in testing increased range by 20% vs. the original Tilt. Now you can see your Tilt through thicker heads of foam and heavier stainless steel walls. To top it off they've included the extra decimal of precision available from the sensors and to the read-out so there are now decimal degrees Fahrenheit as well as higher resolution Celsius. Specific gravity now reads out to the 10,000th place (for example 1.0000). You can now see fermentation activity dropping less than a brewer's point per day. In all they've made several adjustments we believe the craft beer professional (and serious home brewer) is sure to appreciate.

The perfect Tilt for homebrewers with stainless steel fermenters Track your fermentation progress without ever disturbing your wort! Say goodbye to pulling samples for your glass hydrometer 2 to 3x more powerful than the standard Tilt for improved signal transmission through stainless steel Slim design to easily recover the Tilt Pro Mini in small tanks with 1.5" tri-clamp dump ports When the first Tilt hydrometer was released in 2016, most of the home brew fermentation vessels on the market were either glass carboys or plastic brew buckets. Now we see more and more small-scale stainless steel. The problem is stainless isn't that great of a window when it comes to wireless data transmission. The Tilt Pro solves this problem, though it might be bigger than what you need. This is where the Tilt Pro Mini comes in with its smaller size and price and easy recovery in smaller tanks with 1.5” dump ports along with Tilt Pro features like long range (maximum allowed by FCC) and increase in sensor resolution, it takes homebrewing to a new level. The Tilt Pro Mini can be used with the same Tilt 2, Tilt Pi, and other Tilt apps and 3rd party hardware and software as the standard Tilt and Tilt Pro hydrometers. You can even use a standard Tilt and Tilt Pro Mini together if they are the same color in the Tilt 2 app, so run up to 16 different Tilts at once in the Tilt 2 app with 8 standards and 8 pro minis. Download the free Tilt app at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or get the free Tilt Pi download. Specifications: Size: 1.13" Diameter x 4.51" Tall Will pass through a 1.5" Tri-Clamp drain for easy recovery Weight: 2.3 oz Specific Gravity Measurement Range (pre-calibrated): 0.9900 - 1.1200 (possible to user calibrate up to 1.2000) Specific Gravity Resolution: 0.0001 Temperature Measurement Range: 0°F - 185°F Temperature Resolution: 0.1°F Battery: User-replaceable, single use CR123A Li-MnO2 lithium battery 3.2v (max) Not compatible with rechargeable battery

Track your fermentation progress without ever disturbing your wort! The Tilt Hydrometer and Thermometer is added directly to your fermenter to provide real-time data on the current gravity and temperature of your wort, eliminating the hassle and potential contamination that comes from opening your fermenter to pull samples. The Tilt is especially useful for brewers fermenting in glass carboys or plastic fermenters that don't have spigots for sample taking. Designed for homebrewing, the Tilt hydrometer lets you instantly read your brew's specific gravity and temperature on your compatible Apple iPhone/iPad or Android smartphone/tablet or Tilt Pi. Most Bluetooth 4.0+ devices will work with the Tilt. You can then optionally log data to the cloud using their free Google Sheets template or other 3rd party cloud platforms. Tilt's goal is to help homebrewers brew better beer. The Tilt hydrometer allows you to check the specific gravity and temperature of your beer while it's fermenting, without ever having to open your fermenter or pour out any of your precious brew. This makes brewing more consistent and easier to track. Here are some of the new features of the Tilt: Range: Better reception and range. With the increased transmission power your Tilt will send data through larger, thicker-walled fermenters. Precision: Upgraded sensors. With an improved temperature sensor and accelerometer your Tilt will operate with more precision. Efficiency: Reduced power consumption so more brews, less battery changing. New Look: Newly designed custom circuit board and harness. If using multiple Tilt hydrometers for different batches of fermenting beer you must use a different color for each batch. The app will not read multiple hydrometers of the same color. Each Tilt comes calibrated and ready to go with a pre-installed battery that lasts 12-24 months depending on usage. Just download the free app, sanitize your Tilt, drop it in your fermenter, and start taking readings with your phone, tablet, or Tilt Pi. The specific gravity is accurate +/- 0.002 within the Tilt's range of 0.990 to 1.120. The thermometer is accurate +/- 1°F (+/- 0.5°C). Download the free Tilt app at the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or get the free Tilt Pi download.

Tinto Fuego embodies the heat and passion of Chilean winemaking. Meaning “red fire”, the name reflects Chile’s sun-drenched days and cool Andean nights. This dramatic contrast in temperature brings vibrant acidity and deep, intense flavors.
Tinto Fuego a blend of Carmenère and Syrah from Chile’s renowned Maipo Valley is a rich, vibrant red that seamlessly marries the depth of Carmenère with the power of Syrah. It offers a plush texture with well-integrated tannins that lend structure without overshadowing the fruit. The nose is inviting and layered, revealing rich aromas of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, and ripe plum. On the palate, these dark fruits are enhanced by nuances of dark chocolate, black pepper, and a touch of warming spice. The finish is long, savory, and satisfying, unfolding slowly with lingering notes of earth and spice.
About the Region: Maipo, Chile
Maipo, known as Chile’s most renowned wine region lies at the foot of the Andes, where warm, sunny days and cool nights create the perfect conditions for growing expressive reds. The valley’s well-drained alluvial soils lend structure, while the diurnal temperature shifts preserve acidity and aromatics.
This unique climate creates wines with ripe fruit character, fine tannins, and distinct earthy undertones. Whether showcasing spicy Carmenère or peppery Syrah, wines from Maipo reflect a balance of ripeness, elegance, and a strong sense of place rooted in the valley’s long viticultural heritage.
