A delicious, dark blend of juices, the VineCo Original Trilogy is a medium-bodied red wine with notes of toasty black cherry and blackberry matched by a medium oak presence. What's also toasty is this dry red's stout alcohol level at 13% by volume. The Trilogy blend includes medium toast French oak chips. Medium toast French oak is subtle and provides refined flavors of custard, chocolate, and spice. French oak in general is often used by winemakers when they want to increase the mouthfeel and complexity of a wine without stepping on or suppressing the fruit.

This Duotight fitting makes it easy to split your gas line and run it to multiple kegs. Use one tee for a dual tap kegerator or two tees for a triple tap. You can also pair the tee with the Push-In Pressure Gauge to use the gauge with the BlowTie Spunding Valve. Compatible with EVABarrier 8 mm OD Tubing (D1717 & D1718). Duotight fittings are high-quality push-in fittings that seal tight and offer superior sealing capacity due to the double O-ring sealing design. High Performance Double O-Ring Design: The secret to Duotight’s superior sealing performance comes from the fact that they use not one, but two high-quality EPDM O-rings. The double O-ring means they have literally twice the sealing surface when compared with other push-in fittings. This makes them more reliable and significantly reduces the chance of leakage. The double O-ring system also means that tubing can be bent at a much tighter radius without causing leaking issues, which can be an issue with other fittings. This combination of factors makes Duotight the most reliable push-in fittings on the market. EPDM offers excellent chemical resistance for a longer life span. When compared with silicone and vinyl, EPDM has much better gas transmission rates, better wear resistance, and is BPA-free. No Clamps Necessary! We recommend cutting your tubing straight, not on an angle, to ensure the line forms a complete seal. To remove the fitting simply push in the collet and the hose can be removed. Features: Insert tubing and firmly push to connect Easily release tubing by pushing in the collet Suitable for both gas & beverage applications Made from food-grade acetal plastic Double O-rings made from highly chemical resistant EPDM Locking teeth made from stainless steel Pressure rated to 150 psi Temperature rated to 212°F (100°C) Please note: exposure to chlorine will degrade the acetal plastic and stainless steel these fittings are made from. Do not use in contact with bleach or other chlorinated cleaning chemicals. Kegland Part number: KL02387

Care and Use
pH meters usually start performing poorly because of problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction.
Range:-2.00 to 20.00 pH | ±2000.0 mV | -20.0 to 120.0°C (-4.0 to 248.0°F)
Resolution:0.01pH | 0.1mV | 0.1°C (0.1°F)
Accuracy:±0.01 ph | ±1 mV | ±0.4°C |±0.8°F
Care and Use
pH meters usually start performing poorly because of problems with the probe. The two parts of the pH probe that cause problems are the glass sensing bulb and the reference junction.
Sensing bulb
The glass bulb loses sensitivity with use and will eventually fail. This is true of all pH probes.
Reference junction
The reference junction is a small hole that allows the meter to compare the sample to a reference. The reading is generated based on the electrical difference between the sample and reference. If the junction hole gets clogged, the pH electrode will no longer function.
You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways.
Cleaning and Storage
All pH sensors have a limited life and response time gets longer with age. Properly maintaining your pH pen tester will give you fast, accurate results for longer. So, be sure to order the Milwaukee pH Maintenance Kit code PH-Main at checkout time! This will be needed to help clean and condition the pH electrode before use!
Storage
To minimize clogging the pH probe needs to be kept hydrated. Long periods of dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Allowing the probe to dry out may also result in the junction hole getting clogged.
Store the pH probe in storage solution MA9015. Only use tap water short-term if MA9015 is not immediately available and NEVER store in distilled Water (DI) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe.
The best way to store the probe is with the probe's cap filled with storage solution or calibration buffer and the cap tightened to prevent leakage. It is also recommended that to store the electrode upright to further reduce the potential for leakage.
Cleaning an Maintenance
Residue from the sample can impact the sensitivity of the sensing bulb and clog the junction. This is especially true if the sample has a lot of organic material. We recommend regularly soaking your electrode in cleaning solution MA9016 for about 20 minutes. Also:
Inspect the electotrode for damage or scratches, if present replace the electrode.
Inspect the cable. The connection cable and insulation must be intact.
Connectors should be clean and dry.
Rinse off salt deposits with water or DI water.
Calibration
The pH sensing bulbs become less sensitive over time so make sure that you are calibrating regularly to keep your PRO Plus Bench pH Meter accurate. Also, calibrate after cleaning or a long period of storage. For BEST value on calibration, cleaning and storage solutions order pH-START. If you need to calibrate at 10.01 point order MA9010.
What is a Foeder? Basically, it is a large barrel or oak vessel used to age wine and, as of late, many breweries have begun to use them as well. Breweries like New Belgium Brewing, Epic Brewing Company, Crooked Stave and Deschutes are using them for sour beer production and beyond. Although most popular for sour beers, you can add a matured oak character to any beer, such as porters, stouts, English ales, lagers and pilsners. Pilsners?! Yes, Pilsners. We have tasted a few excellent pilsners matured in foeders recently. We were so impressed, we decided to bring them in for our amazing customers to play with. Don't delay, get your foeder today!
This model stand vertically, which compared to horizontal foeders, takes up a much smaller footprint in your brewery or winery. The longer, skinnier design also allows for a higher wood surface to beverage ratio. The oak is porous, so it will retain the character and living microbes of previous batches. Many sour beer producers choose to let the oak inoculate the next batch and treat the barrel as a living entity. We hope that you choose to give this vessel a loving home, with kids and a backyard, or maybe just a temperate, moderately humid production facility.
Balazs barrels is a long-trusted brand of Hungarian oak barrels coopered by the famous Balazs Nagy. These barrels are equal or better in quality to French Oak barrels but available at a fraction of the cost of their more famous counterparts. Renowned for respecting fruit, Hungarian barrels offer winemakers a great option to impact the mouthfeel, structure and flavor of wine without stepping on the terroir of your grapes.
Due to the tight grain and slow release of phenolic compounds, you can feel secure storing your wine in Hungarian barrels longer than you can with other barrels. The slow process of micro oxygenation rounds the wine while various compounds in the wood such hemicellulose, lipids, and lignins are slowly integrated.
As most barrel makers know, the best source of wood for wine barrels is the oak grown in the territory of old-time Hungary, known as Slavonian oak. This rare, high-quality oak can be found in the Zemplén Mountains and in the Tokaj oak woods. The specific type of oak in those territories, and what is used in Balazs barrels, is the Quercus Petrea. This oak is characterised by a dense, hard structure combined with extra flavor. Forestry workers look after these forests with considerable expertise, and the forest density ratio in Hungary is 20–24%, with selective logging taking place between November and April.
Balázs Barrels is establishing a direct cooperation with the forestry workers, ensuring the continuous supply of the best quality oak, allowing them to source and work with the most excellent oak for wine barrel manufacturing from the foremost Hungarian forests.

What makes KOMOS Kegerators better than the rest?
Designed to hold up to FOUR 5-gallon ball lock corny kegs (see below for full list of what fits)
Serve ice cold beer even in the warmest environments thanks to highly-efficient refrigeration components
Stainless steel forward-sealing faucets offer a huge upgrade over common chrome plated brass taps
Choose from the classic stainless model faucet or the upgraded stainless flow control model
Faucets mount to a high-quality stainless steel tower, rather than a cheap chrome plated tower
Interior fan diverts cold air up into the tower to keep your beer lines cold and reduce foaming
EVABarrier double walled draft tubing protects your beer against oxidation
Duotight push-to-connect fittings make assembly a breeze
Included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 Regulator maintains consistent pressure and is easily adjusted
The KOMOS® Deluxe Kegerator model features an eye-catching stainless steel exterior and upgraded stainless steel drip tray
The KOMOS Kegerator offers a stunning set of features that clearly separate this unit as the most modern kegerator on the market. With more interior space than other models, the KOMOS Kegerator is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo kegs or Pepsi-style Ball Lock Corny kegs. Whether you choose the single, double, triple, or quad tap configuration, you'll receive stainless steel forward-sealing faucets in either classic or flow control model. Stainless faucets are a huge upgrade over the chrome-plated brass faucets commonly included with other kegerators, and you'll quickly recognize the quality of a forward-sealing beer faucet compared to the standard taps seen at your local tavern or in-law's mancave. Rather than a chrome plated tower, the NukaTap faucets are mounted to a stainless steel tower that remains cool before, during, and after each pour thanks to a tower fan diverter that recirculates cold air within the kegerator and blows it up into the tower to keep your beer lines cold and reduce foaming. From keg to faucet, your beer will pass through EVABarrier draft lines, a premium double-walled tubing designed to protect against beer oxidation. And with Duotight push-to-connect fittings, you'll have your lines connected in a snap with no need to force the tubing over barb fittings or fiddle with hose clamps. Other features you'll love about the KOMOS Kegerator include its highly-efficient cooling capacity so you'll be serving ice cold beer even in the warmest temperatures, extra wide temperature range from 26–82°F, dual gas inlets at the back, aluminum internal floor, rolling casters, and the included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 regulator.
The most eye-catching difference between the KOMOS unit and other kegerators is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that comes with a quadruple tap tower option, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. KOMOS positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. This seemingly small detail allows the unit to hold up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs.
Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. Both inlets are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE13) as a quick connect option for your gas lines.
Upgraded condenser, evaporator, and insulation make this unit highly efficient, yet quiet, so you can serve ice cold beer in even the warmest temperatures. The unique internal fan provides excellent air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the tower to chill your draft lines.
Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers
The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. Although the unit does not provide heating, the extended range allows you to program the internal temperature at say an ale fermentation temp of 68°F and will provide cooling whenever the temp rises above that set point. With the insulation provided by the kegerator, heating should rarely be needed, but you can always place a low wattage heat wrap inside the unit if ever needed. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice.
Forward-sealing Stainless Faucets and Towers
All KOMOS kegerators come with NukaTap stainless steel forward-sealing faucets and a stainless steel draft tower. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. Most other kegerators on the market will only include the cheapest, standard chrome-plated beer faucets that you'd find at any dive bar. KOMOS kegerators include not only a faucet that features superior pour technology, but made from stainless steel which won't corrode over years of use.
Choose from the classic forward-sealing faucet model or the upgraded flow control model that allows you to dial in the flow rate of the beverage you're dispensing. The flow control faucet is a great option for users that often switch between beer styles with different carbonation levels. No need to rebalance your lines or play with your regulator settings. Instantly make adjustments as you pour to dial in the flow rate. This is also a super convenient feature for when you want to grab a quick growler on your way out. By dialing back the flow rate, you can gently fill your growler so CO2 stays in solution and your beer doesn't pour flat when it comes time to share. Click here to learn more about the Classic and Flow Control faucet models.
Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing
Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our kegerators come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each kegerator comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks, regulator, and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.
EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing.
KOMOS Regulator
The included high-quality KOMOS CO2 regulator maintains consistent pressure and features a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and to relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Many kegerator brands will include the cheapest regulator they can find, and while these regulators may work OK out of the box, they will eventually show signs of pressure creep which can lead to foamy beer and other issues with your draft system. Rather than have you rely on a regulator that is "just OK", KOMOS kegerators include their own premium dual gauge regulator with highly accurate precision diaphragm and heavy-duty steel gauges. Included with your kegerator package is a Duotight fitting that attaches to the regulator for an easy, solid, push-to-connect connection with your gas line.
Added Features
One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China.
The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. They'll often overflow the reservoir inside the kegerator causing a huge mess. Our kegerator's tray is designed to be removed and easily washed.
Best Value & Backed by MoreBeer!
We've looked around, and when you factor in fast and free shipping, you are getting the very best value on a kegerator in the USA. Plus, you're getting MoreBeer! service if something happens in shipment. We double box the unit with foam pads and have very little shipping damage. However, it will be delivered via Fed-Ex ground so damage is possible. If your unit arrives damaged just call us up and we will work with you to take care of it.

Hard Seltzer Flash Brewing® Kit
Flash Seltzer is a simplified system for producing clean, low-calorie hard seltzer with a strong focus on clean fermentation and minimal off-flavors. Sugar-based fermentations lack the natural nutrients found in beer and wine. This kit pairs Flash Yeast with CellarScience Dynamo 800, a nutrient formulated specifically for seltzer fermentation.
Dynamo 800 supplies the nitrogen yeast need to ferment efficiently in sugar-only environments, supporting a clean-fermenting process that helps minimize the risk of sulfur, fusel alcohols, and other off-flavors. Fermentation can finish in as few as 5 days.

We recently had a simple, yet exciting idea: What if we brewed the same recipe, used the same yeast, but changed one thing - the flavor, aroma, and dry hop additions using one hop varietal. That way we could take two beers that are close to identical and pick out the differences in just the hop flavors and aromas! And thus, the Single Hop Experiment was born. This recipe is based off of a simple Pale Ale: 2-Row, Crystal 15L, Magnum bittering hops, and then a single other hop for the rest of the additions. The malt in this recipe is basic and fairly neutral, the bittering clean and consistent, but the flavor and aroma from the late hop additions will vary; sometimes dramatically! Ever wanted to know what your favorite hop really is? Brew a few of these different Single Hop Experiment recipes to find out!

WLP023 is great for use in hoppy American and English styles such as pale ales, bitters and ambers Produces a subtle fruity ester profile with notes of apple, clover honey and pear Ideal for high gravity ales, American and English hoppy beers, as well as malty ambers, porters, and brown ales PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! WLP023 Burton Ale is a famous English yeast strain from Burton-on-Trent. This strain is described as fruity, with hits of apple, clover honey, and pear. Perfect for Bitters, IPAs, ESBs, and pale ales. Over the years many home brewers have found WLP023 works exceptionally well in porters and stouts as well. Add a little British character to your next beer with this well round strain! PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Liquid Malt Extract (LME) vs. Dried Malt Extract (DME)
MoreBeer! recipe kits are offered in both Liquid Malt Extract and Dry Malt Extract so that our customers can choose the format that best suits their needs and brewing style. LME is a viscous liquid, similar in consistency to maple syrup. In addition to being the more affordable option, many brewers find LME easier to handle than dry extract. DME is more condensed and comes in a powder format that is similar to baking flour. Although it’s a little more costly, DME is naturally lighter in color and stays fresher for longer. We highly recommend DME when brewing light colored beers.

Smooth, ribless design prevents yeast and bacteria buildup, making sanitation a breeze Punted bottom and conical top promote sediment collection and reduce oxidation during storage Extra-wide 4" mouth opening simplifies filling, additions, and cleaning Constructed from heavy-duty, virgin PET plastic without plasticizers Made with food-grade and BPA-free materials The Fermonster is a brand new fermenter designed specifically for fermentation. MoreBeer! gave product feedback for over 2 years of development and we think they nailed the design. The large lid allows for easy filling and makes hop or oak additions a breeze. The smooth sides are fantastic for sanitization - no ribs or texture to collect yeast or bacteria. The punted bottom allows sediment to collect to the sides so that you can siphon liquid from the center. Because they are made from virgin PET plastic, they're nearly unbreakable and a lot safer than similar glass carboys. Also notice the conical top which reduces surface area if you plan to store beer or wine long term. These ported versions come with our plastic spigot (FE347), allowing for easy racking and sampling! Made from heavy PET plastic, the same material used in 2 L soda bottles, which is nearly impermeable to oxygen penetration. Due to the thickness of the material and the overall geometry, the Fermonster does not require ribs or dimples for stability. That results in a super smooth interior surface that reduces yeast and sediment buildup making it the easiest to clean, most sanitary PET carboy on the market. The huge 4" opening makes filling a breeze, and cleanup is as easy as wiping down the inside. These fermentors are completely air-tight and the lids sealed tight with an O-Ring. Additional O-Rings and Lids both with and without holes are available for purchase, see our You Might Also Need items below. Features: 4" inner diameter wide mouth carboy - easy to clean! Food grade PET plastic construction is nearly impermeable to oxygen penetration No hard to clean dimples or ribs Punted bottom O-Ring and Lid with one hole is included (Fits #10 Stopper) Additional O-Rings and Lids available Weight: 1.5 lbs Temperature Limit: 140° F Height: 14.6 inches Diameter: 9 inches Completely taste and odor free Perfect for Beer, Wine, Cider, Mead, Kombucha or any other fermented beverage! Thick walls for better oxygen barrier. Please note: the pictured #10 Stopper (FE470VS) and three piece airlock (FE370) are not included.
Our single-hop Hazy IPA series dedicated to expressing the newest hops when they hit the scene Includes 100% Riwaka™ hops from boil, to whirlpool, to dry hopping Riwaka™ Flavor/Aroma: Citrusy grapefruit, kumquat Estimated ABV: 6.7% Estimated IBUs: 32 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Heavenly Haze is our series of single-hop Hazy IPAs. Whenever a hip new hop hits the scene, we're as excited to brew with it as you are! We developed Heavenly Haze to use a straight-forward hazy IPA malt bill as a base that's shared between all Heavenly Haze recipe kits—the only thing that changes is your hop of choice! This allows you to really zero in on the different flavors and aromas of one particular hop, and it's how we recommend experiencing a new hop you haven't brewed with before. We'll continue to expand our Heavenly Haze series to include newly released hops that are perfect for NEIPAs, as well as circle back to include some of our favorite hazy hops that have long been available. The kiwis keep it coming with yet another hop varietal that's bursting with character. Riwaka™ varietal 85-6-23 was originally bred by New Zealand Hops by crossing Saaz with specially developed breeding selections. The result was a highly aromatic hop with almost double the oil content of its parent Saaz. Realesed in 1997, this was once an exceedingly difficult hop to get your hands on outside of New Zealand, as it was quickly bought up by the native brewers. With an almost 1:1 alpha to beta acids ratio, this rockstar aroma hop gives off strong notes of citrusy grapefruit and kumquat. Perfect for new world pale ales, IPAs, hoppy lagers, and any beer you want a bold fruity hop character to shine. Advanced Modular Control System: Designed for homebrewers and microbreweries, the Brewtools FCS brings industrial-level precision with features like temperature, pressure, and gravity monitoring for ultimate brewing control. Comprehensive Starter Kit: Includes essential components such as FCS Display and I/O Modules, temperature and pressure sensors, and all necessary cables and adapters to start customizing your fluid control setup. Automated Fermentation Profiles: Automate cooling, heating, and pressure management with software-driven profiles, simplifying complex processes while ensuring consistency in your brews. Expandable & Customizable: Add solenoids, pumps, airlocks, and adapters to fit your specific brewing needs, compatible with both Brewtools and non-Brewtools tanks. Constant Monitoring & Alerts: Early warning notifications for equipment issues like solenoid valves or heating elements ensure smooth operation and protect your brewing investment. This version of the FCS Kit includes the Density/Temp Sensor which replaces the temperature-only sensor in the basic FCS Starter Kit. FCS is a modular control system designed, developed and manufactured by Brewtools in Norway. The vision behind the system is to take industrial technology and make that available for microbreweries and homebrewers. Using the latest electronic component technology and clever software engineering, Brewtools is able to make features that used to be very expensive and complicated available for everyone. The system can measure temperature, pressure, density/gravity, level* and power consumption and based on that — control cooling, heating, pressure/CO2 in, pressure/CO2 out, agitation*, automatic hop additions* under pressure and more! Fermentation profiles will automate the whole process and give you ultimate control of your fermentation process. (*Not available at first launch.) The system will also constantly monitor the process and notify you if something isn't right. For example, the system will measure the current draw of solenoid valves and heating elements, and will notify you if these components aren't working as they should. Please Note: The software is currently in a state of early adopter beta, and should not be used for critical production. Brewtools will continue to develop software and new sensors/actuators based on customer feedback and requests. If you cannot find a sensor or actuator that fits your setup, please reach out to us and let us know. Note that we do not take responsibility for any lost/destroyed beer or raw materials. Brewtools FCS Starter Kit for Pro Tanks This kit includes everything you would normally need to install the system on a "standard" tank. It comes with two TC 1.5" tees (short) and parts needed to connect your existing solenoids for cooling. The solenoid for gas out is also made for larger tanks. FCS Display Module and FCS I/O Module with power supply Density sensor (300mm) 1 pressure sensor with gas out pro solenoid Tiny Relay Module for wiring your cooling solenoid 2x TC Tees, clamps and gaskets All cables and adapters needed (3m length) The kit does not include a valve/pump for cooling as these are tank dependent, and you may already have a solenoid for your existing glycol loop. For non-Brewtools tanks, you also may need an adapter and/or tee to connect the spunding valve/pressure sensor assembly. Accessories To complete your FCS kit setup, some accessories are needed. A solenoid for cooling (Ø4.5mm - 34mm or 1.5") with 2-pin LP12 cable and DIN43650 Type A adapter or a submersible pump (comes with cable). A blowoff for the pressure out solenoid valve is recommended. You will need a 1.5" TC adapter to connect to your preferred blowoff tubing. Tri-Clamps and gaskets. Based on your tank and setup, you may need some extra tri-clamps or gaskets. Setting Up the FCS for Your Tank Solenoid Valve & Related Connection Hardware for Cooling For Brewtools tanks that use 34mm connection you will need a Ø4.5mm - 34mm solenoid valve. For Commercial tanks you will need a TC 1.5" to 34mm adapter and 1.5" TC Solenoid Valve. Either way, you will need a 2-pin LP12 cable and DIN43650 Type A adapter to connect the solenoid valve to the Brewtools FCS I/O Module. Would You Like a Visible Air Lock on the Spunding Valve? The Brewtools pressure relief solenoid spunding valve releases CO2 at the set point you choose on your controller. To visually see the CO2 release, add a blowoff to the pressure relief solendoid using a 1.5" TC adapter to your preferred tubing size. Prevents Boil-Overs: One drop per gallon eliminates messy boil-overs, making your brewing process cleaner and safer, saving time on cleanup.
Increases Fermenter Capacity: Reduces Krausen foam during fermentation, allowing more beer volume and minimizing the risk of messy blowouts.
Improves Head Retention: Enhances head formation in finished beer by preserving foam-forming proteins that would otherwise be lost during fermentation.
Food-Grade and Easy to Use: Made from food-grade silicone, Foam Axe safely breaks up foam with just a few drops, settling out before bottling or kegging.
Stop boil overs in the kettle and limit foaming in your fermenter with CellarScience Foam Axe. This uniquely formulated anti-foaming agent reduces surface tension so bubbles are Axed before they can form. Foam Axe actually increases head formation in the finished beer by retaining foam forming proteins that would have normally blown off during fermentation. Use it in your boil kettle to prevent boil-overs for a cleaner, safer process. Then add Foam Axe to your fermenter to reduce Krausen, save beer, and increase the volume capacity of your fermenter.
In the Kettle:
Nobody likes a boil over as they are messy and take considerable time to clean up. Save time, beer, your burner or stove, (and possibly your relationship) by adding 1 drop per gallon of Foam Axe into your kettle and eliminate boil overs from your brew day!
In the Fermenter:
Foam Axe works like magic in the fermenter. Just 2 drops per gallon at the start of fermentation will keep your airlock and blowoff clean. We recommend adding before pitching yeast and rousing well while you aerate your wort. Many commercial breweries use Foam Axe to increase fermenter capacity and homebrewers can do the same.
Additional Notes:
Foam Axe is made from food-grade silicone and works by breaking up foam particles and dispersing surface tension. Foam Axe settles out of beer prior to bottling or kegging. Store cool and in an environment below 90°F. Do not freeze.
The recommended shelf life is 6 months from the date the package is opened.
Insulated tubing will improve your chilling efficiency and eliminate the troublesome line sweating. This set includes two 6' lengths of 3/8" ID silicone tubing wrapped in elastomeric insulation. Hose clamps are included to secure connection points with your preferred fittings.
WineStix are a new form of oak integration for wine, designed to give new barrel flavors with an extraction time similar to cubes. The combination of Short and Long grains result in amazing gradience of flavor similar to barrels, while extracting significantly quicker! These are Medium toast French Oak staves, and depending on the wine, will impart flavors of vanilla and coffee, while clearing out negative vegetal flavors and astringency from the wine. This is a two pack of WineStix, sized specifically for a 5-6 gallon carboy of wine. WineStix will easily fit through the mouth of a glass carboy, and can be attached to a string via the drilled hole for easy removal!
One carboy Winestix will treat 5-6 gallons of wine.
Application-Specific Pore Sizes: Available in 0.5-micron for rapid force carbonation or 2-micron for yeast aeration and wine macro-oxygenation.
Two Connection Options: Choose a standard 1/4" barb for direct tubing or a 1/4" MFL thread for quick detachment and easy sanitization in boiling water.
Multi-Gas Versatility: Efficiently diffuses CO2, oxygen, or nitrogen for varied brewing and winemaking processes.
Diffusion stones are highly porous stainless steel components used to efficiently dissolve gases into liquids. In brewing, they are primarily used to force-carbonate kegged beer quickly and consistently, or to aerate wort with oxygen prior to fermentation to ensure healthy yeast growth. In winemaking, these stones are utilized for macro-oxygenation during fermentation—which can help soften tannins and emphasize fruit characteristics—as well as for degassing finished wine with nitrogen.
Micron Size
Choosing between a 0.5-micron and 2-micron stone depends on your specific process. The 0.5-micron stone produces extremely fine bubbles that maximize surface area for rapid gas absorption, making it the standard choice for force-carbonating beer. The 2-micron stone handles a slightly higher gas flow, making it the preferred choice for aerating wort or must (using either compressed oxygen or a high-PSI aeration pump) and for macro-oxygenation in wine.
Connection
Diffusion stones are available with either a standard 1/4" barb or a 1/4" male flare (MFL) thread. The barb provides a secure, traditional friction fit for 1/4" ID tubing, while the threaded flare connection allows you to easily detach the stone from your gas line so it can be dropped directly into boiling water for quick sanitization.
To Sanitize
To properly sanitize your stones, we recommend you run it in a sanitized solution for 5 minutes. If the stone becomes clogged we recommend boiling the stone for 1-3 minutes to help break down anything within it.
You do not want to touch the stainless stone portion with your hands. The oils on your fingers can actually clog the small pores in the stone.

Clean, versatile, and reliable, it’s ideal for brewers seeking subtle depth without compromising balance at an unbeatable value
Designed to be sprinkled directly onto the surface of your wort with no pre-oxygenation before pitching required
Ferment between 59-72°F
WEST COAST is a refined evolution of the classic American ale strain engineered for modern brewing while honoring its proven roots. It delivers the same clean, dependable performance as CALI, with just a trace of fruit character that lends a quiet depth to the final beer. When fermented under pressure up to 12 PSI, WEST COAST can be pushed warmer to help reduce turnaround time while producing an even cleaner profile with its subtle fruit character pushed further into the background. This nuance stays well in the background, complementing rather than competing with hops or malt. Ideal as a house strain, WEST COAST can refresh a Flagship recipe or anchor a new one, offering robust, reliable fermentations every time. Designed for simplicity, it can be pitched directly into wort no oxygenation or rehydration required.
Flocculation: Medium to High
Fermentation: Range: 59-72ºF (15-22°C)
Pressure-Ready: Performs great under pressure up to 12 PSI
Attenuation: Approximately 75–84%
Alcohol Tolerance: 10% ABV
Direct Pitch: No rehydration needed
Reliable & Consistent: Every batch undergoes PCR testing for quality
High Cell Count: 15g per sachet—over 36% more than standard 11g dry yeast packs
Dosage:
One sachet is enough to treat a 5–6 gallon batch. When calculating for larger batches, use at a rate of 2–3 grams per gallon of wort. We recommend rounding up by one full sachet rather than measuring out the yeast exactly.
Like all CellarScience yeast, WEST COAST offers professional-grade performance for both homebrewers and craft brewers at an unbeatable value. If you love the clean versatility of CALI but want a touch more character, West Coast is your next go-to strain.
