Haze Craze is the Flash Brewing® take on the hazy New England IPA recipe. Also known as a North Eastern IPA, or Juicy IPA, it quickly became one of the most popular beer styles in the US. It packs all of the hop character that craft beer nerds love, and it's much softer and less bitter than classic West Coast IPAs, making it a much more approachable style for the uninitiated. The style accentuates hop character while maintaining a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Light in color but hazy due to heavy dry hopping, CellarScience Hazy yeast, as well as our custom blend of Flash Malt™ containing oats and wheat. Low in bitterness with a huge hop character due to hop-bursting, this beer will satiate even the biggest hop head.
NEIPA has become popular nationwide thanks to breweries like Tree House Brewing, The Alchemist, Hill Farmstead and Grimm Artisanal Ales. One taste of this delicious style will make it a staple in your Flash brew schedule.
Flash Brewing® KitsIntroducing MoreBeer!'s Flash Brewing® Kits! Designed for both novice and seasoned homebrewers, these innovative recipe kits allow you to simply mix the ingredients with water and add yeast for fermentation. This streamlined process not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies brewing without sacrificing flavor. Say hello to a faster, easier way to craft exceptional beer at home.
Typically, brewing requires you to boil your malt and hops for one hour, followed by another hour for cooling. Flash Brewing® eliminates the need to boil. Our Flash Brewing® malt recipes have been boiled and whirlpooled before they are dried. We then use a HopBite™ shot for bitterness combined with a mix of traditional hop pellets for flavor.

Specifically selected for bottle or cask conditioning, ensuring proper carbonation and nuanced flavor development over time
Delivers the sought-after phenolic flavors (barnyard, horse, leather) of Brettanomyces with greater control and consistency than traditional wild cultures
Fermentis active dry yeast offers reliability, ease-of-use, and consistency to home and professional beverage makers across the world
SafBrew™ BR-8 is the first Brettanomyces bruxellensis yeast available to brewers in a dry microgranular format. It offers all the flavor benefits of ‘wild’ Brett yeast, but with more control and reliability, eliminating the risk of over-carbonation and gushing after bottling.
Selected specifically for secondary fermentation in bottles or casks, SafBrew™ BR-8 produces phenolic compounds that create a distinctive finishing touch which evolves over time as the beer is aged, with funkier notes (barnyard, horse, leather) nicely balanced by refreshing, fruity notes.
Instructions for Use:
SafBrew™ BR-8 should not be rehydrated directly in the beer.
Sprinkle the yeast in minimum 10 times its weight of sterile water at a temperature of 77°F to 84°F. Leave to rest 15 to 30 minutes. Gently stir until obtaining a yeast cream.
Usage:
Add 0.67 to 1.34 oz of sugar per gal of beer (5 to 10 grams of sugar per liter of beer) to obtain an additional saturation of 0.33 to 0.67 oz/gal of CO2 (2.5 to 5.0 g/L of CO2). Pitch the sweetened beer at fermentation temperature with the rehydrated yeast.
Carbonation will be achieved in 1 to 3 months of maturation.
*At the end of refermentation, the beer can be cooled down and will gain in roundness after 2 to 3 weeks.
*Carbonation at lower end temperatures (e.g. 59°F / 15°C) can take over 3 months.
Alcohol Tolerance: 8.5% ABV
Optimum Fermentation Temp: 59-77°F
*See the technical data sheet below for more information on rehydration, usage and storage.
Our single-hop Hazy IPA series dedicated to expressing the newest hops when they hit the scene Includes 100% Riwaka™ hops from boil, to whirlpool, to dry hopping Riwaka™ Flavor/Aroma: Citrusy grapefruit, kumquat Estimated ABV: 6.7% Estimated IBUs: 32 Makes 5 gallons of finished beer Heavenly Haze is our series of single-hop Hazy IPAs. Whenever a hip new hop hits the scene, we're as excited to brew with it as you are! We developed Heavenly Haze to use a straight-forward hazy IPA malt bill as a base that's shared between all Heavenly Haze recipe kits—the only thing that changes is your hop of choice! This allows you to really zero in on the different flavors and aromas of one particular hop, and it's how we recommend experiencing a new hop you haven't brewed with before. We'll continue to expand our Heavenly Haze series to include newly released hops that are perfect for NEIPAs, as well as circle back to include some of our favorite hazy hops that have long been available. The kiwis keep it coming with yet another hop varietal that's bursting with character. Riwaka™ varietal 85-6-23 was originally bred by New Zealand Hops by crossing Saaz with specially developed breeding selections. The result was a highly aromatic hop with almost double the oil content of its parent Saaz. Realesed in 1997, this was once an exceedingly difficult hop to get your hands on outside of New Zealand, as it was quickly bought up by the native brewers. With an almost 1:1 alpha to beta acids ratio, this rockstar aroma hop gives off strong notes of citrusy grapefruit and kumquat. Perfect for new world pale ales, IPAs, hoppy lagers, and any beer you want a bold fruity hop character to shine. Makes 5 gallons Estimated Original Gravity: 1.061-66 SRM (Color Range): 4-5 IBUs: 15 Estimated Alcohol Percentage: 6.7% Our recipe kits DO NOT include grain bags, yeast or priming sugar. To find our yeast recommendations, choose your preferred kit option above and then select the drop-down menu under “Yeast Options”. Yeast starters offer higher cell counts at the time the yeast is pitched, leading to faster, healthier fermentations and better tasting beer!
This kit contains everything you need for making your own yeast starter in package. When you’re ready to make the move from direct pitching your yeast to making a proper starter, this kit is a great way to get going.
The most common size used to make starters using White Labs brand yeast. Same as our Y300 Starter Kit, but with a 1000ml Erlenmeyer flask instead of the 500ml.
In the lab world, these flasks are known as "Student Grade," meaning there may be some cosmetic flaws in the glass, and the volume measurements are approximate due to variations in the thickness of the glass walls of the flask. This makes it a great flask for making yeast starters--at a great price!
We do not recommend the use of an electric element with these flasks. If this cannot be avoided, we suggest using a larger pot as a hot water bath on the stove.
WLP810 is a unique lager strain that can ferment at a wide range of temperatures while retaining lager-like characteristics Traditionally used to brew the California common or steam beer styles PurePitch® Next Generation offers a precise cell count across all strains so you can calculate the exact pitch rate you need for every batch Scan the barcode on the back of the package and enter your wort stats into the Pitch Rate Calculator
White Labs Yeast has been producing high-quality brewer's yeast since 1995 and continues to raise the bar in the art of fermentation Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch! San Francisco Lager is a versatile lager strain primarily used to produce the California Common style of beer. This strain is unique in that it can ferment at temperatures of up to 65 degrees and still retain the clean lager characteristics with relatively low esters. Can also be fermented down to 50°F for production other styles of lagers. PurePitch® Next Generation—now with more yeast, get a foolproof fermentation without a starter! Just twist the cap & pitch! Why PurePitch Next Gen versus other options? Typically yeast manufacturers use a range for how many yeast cells are going into each package. This can vary widely, especially from strain to strain. Next Gen offers a far more precise cell count across all strains allowing you to use the Whitelabs exclusive pitch calculator. Simply scan the barcode on the back of each package to be taken to their online calculator. Enter the volume, strength, and pitching temperature of the wort you are fermenting and the calculator tells you exactly how much yeast to pitch. You will be fermenting like a professional brewer, using the same concentration of yeast every time and enjoying more consistent results. Don't need a full package? Put the lid back on and store in the refrigerator for your next batch. Whitelabs has also increased the viability (the number of living cells in the package) over the shelf life of the yeast. Next Gen strains are grown in their unique, small-batch reactors to assure freshness and then packaged in a special film that allows for off-gassing, assuring that their viability is absolutely industry leading. Attenuation: 70-75% Flocculation: High Alcohol Tolerance: 5-10% ABV Optimum Fermentation Temp: 58-65°F Cell Count: 150 Billion For best results we always recommend ordering an ice pack with your liquid yeast. Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.
The KOMOS Deluxe Kegerator model boasts the same features as the standard model with an eye-catching stainless steel extrerior and upgraded stainless steel drip tray. The interior is designed to fit up to four 5-gallon ball lock kegs at one time. This unit represents an amazing value in home draft dispensing. It features a digital controller, stainless door and exterior, aluminum floor, rolling casters, robust KOMOS CO2 regulator, and more. This version does not include a tower kit. Great as a fermenation refrigerator or as a unit that can be built-in when adequate ventilation is an option. Approximately 4" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air. The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter. This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter. The most eye-catching difference between this unit and the previous model is definitely the capacity. This is the first kegerator we have offered that can fit up to four 5-gallon homebrew kegs at one time, and that’s all thanks to the redesigned interior. Most kegerators position the compressor on the right or left side of the inside floor, making one side shallower than the other. The KOMOS kegerator positions the compressor in the middle so both sides of the interior have an equal depth. This seemingly small detail allows the unit to hold up to four 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs. Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. The previous model had one inlet that was only wide enough for a single line to pass through. Now both inlets are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE13) as a quick connect option for your gas lines. Improvements to the condenser, evaporator, and insulation means the KOMOS kegerator is more efficient than ever before. It also features a redesigned internal fan for improved air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the tower to chill your draft lines. Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs. Take, for example, the extended range digital controller with an adjustable temperature range from 26 - 82°F. This allows homebrewers to use as fermentation chamber and is something that other kegerators don't do. Although the unit does not provide heating, the extended range allows you to program the internal temperature at say an ale fermentation temp of 68°F and will provide cooling whenever the temp rises above that set point. With the insulation provided by the kegerator, heating should rarely be needed, but you can always place a low wattage heat wrap inside the unit if ever needed. The digital controller always displays the temperature and is easily adjusted from the front of the kegerator with the door closed. It's pretty nice. Added Features One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues. They also come standard with the KOMOS dual gauge CO2 regulator, which is super beefy and consistent in delivering accurate pressures. Most Chinese-made regulators experience creep where the pressure increases over time. The KOMOS regulator is by far the best CO2 regulator we have seen made in China. The countertop drip tray couldn't be easier to keep clean. Built-in drip trays look cool, but they're a pain to keep clean. Before long they get pretty disgusting with dried, spilled beer -- attracting fruit flies and becoming a haven for mold and bacteria to grow. They'll often overflow the reservoir inside the kegerator causing a huge mess. Our kegerator's tray is designed to be removed and easily washed. Best Value & Backed by MoreBeer! We've looked around, and when you factor in fast and free shipping, you are getting the very best value on a kegerator in the USA. Plus you're getting MoreBeer! service if something happens in shipment. We double box the unit with foam pads and have very little shipping damage. However, it will be delivered via Fed-Ex ground so damage is possible. If your unit arrives damaged just call us up and we will work with you to take care of it. Made from high-quality Slavonian oak sustainably sourced from Hungarian forests
Superior in long term storage due to the tight grain and slow release of phenolic compounds
Equivalent or superior quality compared to French Oak barrels at a much more affordable cost
Zinc-plated steel barrel hoops for corrosion resistance
Coopered by the world-renowned Balazs Nagy
Balazs barrels is a long-trusted brand of Hungarian oak barrels coopered by the famous Balazs Nagy. These barrels are equal or better in quality to French Oak barrels but available at a fraction of the cost of their more famous counterparts. Renowned for respecting fruit, Hungarian barrels offer winemakers a great option to impact the mouthfeel, structure and flavor of wine without stepping on the terroir of your grapes.
Due to the tight grain and slow release of phenolic compounds, you can feel secure storing your wine in Hungarian barrels longer than you can with other barrels. The slow process of micro oxygenation rounds the wine while various compounds in the wood such hemicellulose, lipids, and lignins are slowly integrated.
As most barrel makers know, the best source of wood for wine barrels is the oak grown in the territory of old-time Hungary, known as Slavonian oak. This rare, high-quality oak can be found in the Zemplén Mountains and in the Tokaj oak woods. The specific type of oak in those territories, and what is used in Balazs barrels, is the Quercus Petrea. This oak is characterised by a dense, hard structure combined with extra flavor. Forestry workers look after these forests with considerable expertise, and the forest density ratio in Hungary is 20–24%, with selective logging taking place between November and April. Once the wood is sourced, it is air dried and aged for 24-28 months before cooperage.
Balázs Barrels is establishing a direct cooperation with the forestry workers, ensuring the continuous supply of the best quality oak, allowing them to source and work with the most excellent oak for wine barrel manufacturing from the foremost Hungarian forests.

3278 blend contains yeast and bacteria cultures important to the production of spontaneously fermented beers of the Lambic region
A Belgian style ale strain, a sherry strain, two Brettanomyces strains, a Lactobacillus culture, and a Pediococcus culture produce the desirable flavor components of these beers as they are brewed in Brussels
Activator Smack-Pack System™ "proofs" the yeast and shortens lag time when it hits your wort
When smacked, the Activator™ packet releases sugars and nutrients to initiate the culture's metabolism
Wyeast has been a pioneer in craft brewing for over 35 years and is committed to creating the finest fermentation products available
Although beneficial, cultures do not need to be activated prior to inoculation
This blend of yeast and bacteria comes from a Belgian Brewery and is maintained with a selection of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, which include Belgian-style wheat beer yeast, a sherry yeast, Brettanomyces Bruxellensis yeast, Brettomyces Lambicus yeast, Lactobacillus Delbruckii, and finally Pediococcus Cerevisiae. While amazingly complex, this mixture does not include all the possible cultures found in Belgian Lambics. However, it is representative of the organisms which are most important for the desirable flavor components of these beer styles.

Flash Brewing® Kits from MoreBeer!® require only 10 minutes to brew. Just mix and ferment.
An easy-drinking Irish-style stout with a smooth, clean finish, soft malt character, and a touch more hop presence than you’d expect for the style. Balanced, refreshing, and full of subtle flavor.
Flavored with Cascade Cryo Hops®
Estimated ABV: 4.9%
Estimated IBUs: 15
Makes 2 gallons of finished beer
Irish Stout Flash Brewing® KitIrish Stout is built for the same reason the best pub stouts endure: it’s approachable, balanced, and designed for another pint. Instead of leaning hard into heavy roast, this recipe focuses on a smooth, rounded malt profile with a gentle dark edge—think light cocoa, toasted grain, and a hint of coffee—then finishes clean and crisp.
Cascade Cryo Hops bring a restrained but noticeable hop character that plays surprisingly well with the dark malt profile. You’ll pick up subtle citrus and a touch of classic American hop flavor that keeps the beer lively and modern without pulling it out of stout territory. It’s a small twist that makes the beer especially fun for craft beer enthusiasts—familiar enough to feel classic, but different enough to keep you paying attention.
This is the kind of beer you crack when the day’s done: a weeknight pint, a game-day staple, something to bring to a backyard hang, or the darker option in the cooler that still drinks light on its feet. If you enjoy the smooth, approachable stout experience of Guinness Draught, Murphy’s, or Beamish, you’ll recognize the overall “easy pint” balance immediately—just with a brighter hop accent than you might expect.

White Koji is an exciting new specialty ingredient formulated specifically for the brewing industry
Instant kettle sour! No waiting for bacteria to do their thing. Just add directly to the mash to hit your target pH
Citric acid is naturally produced by Aspergillus luchuensis, offering a clean pleasant acidity when compared to lactic acid
The citric acid produced can be swapped for lactic acid in any application, such as sour beers or mash pH adjustments
CellarScience imports this Koji fresh from Japan's best sake and koji producer
Try using White Koji instead of acidulated malt in your next batch, especially nice in a Japanese rice lager!
This White Koji is formulated specifically for brewing beer with citric acid. Citric acid tends to have a less harsh astringency when compared to lactic acid. Used at a high percentage (20-25%), it makes a very clean kettle sour instantly. Rather than waiting overnight for the bacteria, you can hit your target pH during your standard mashing process. It can also be added to any recipe to adjust pH in the mash, similar to acidulated malt. This traditional ingredient, imported directly from Japan, is a great addition to your next craft Japanese rice lager!
Koji (Aspergillus luchuensis) is a fungus that is grown on rice during the Shochu making process and citric acid is naturally generated. Koji is grown on rice which breaks down starch in the rice to a more fermentable sugar source. Yeast can then use these sugars during fermentation to add a bright and refreshing citric acid character.
White Koji should be used at a rate of 20% - 25% of total grain in your recipe for souring. Use at a small percentage, as needed, for pH adjustment in the mash.
Koji in Beverage Making
Koji, a unique mold, is the heart of many beloved Japanese beverages, transforming starches into the sugars necessary for fermentation. While traditionally barley malting achieves this in whisky, innovative distillers are embracing koji, particularly yellow and white varieties, to unlock new flavor profiles. In shochu, white and black koji are favored for their citric acid production, ensuring a clean and stable fermentation, while yellow koji adds a touch of sake-like complexity. And of course, yellow koji reigns supreme in sake, orchestrating the intricate parallel fermentation that defines its character.
This ancient ingredient, with its diverse strains, offers a remarkable tool for crafting distinctive spirits. Whether it's the bright acidity of white koji in shochu, the delicate sweetness of yellow koji in sake, or the novel depth it brings to whisky, koji's transformative power is undeniable. By harnessing the unique properties of different koji varieties, producers are pushing the boundaries of flavor, creating beverages that are both rooted in tradition and boldly innovative.

Cryo Hop® Hop Pellets
Higher AA and nearly twice the resin content of traditional T-90 hop pellets
Increase yield by reducing vegetal matter in your brewhouse and fermenter
Cryo Hops® provide brewers with the ability to get gigantic hop character while reducing astringent and unpleasant vegetal flavors. With a substantially higher oil and resin content, LupuLN2 powder offers up all the flavor and aroma of a heavily hopped beer, but with a significanly reduced grassy character. Additionally, the lower dosage rate of the concentrated powder reduces the volume of trub and therefore, kettle loss. Using Cryo Hops® you will net more beer that is clearer!
Typical usage of Cryo Hops® would be roughly 50% of pellets. LupuLN2 powder can be used in any application where traditional hop products are utilized, including: Bittering, Kettle, Whirlpool and even direct to the fermentor. It is suggested that you use Cryo Hops® as late additions, in the whirlpool or dry hop, as the volatile aromatic compounds will be driven off if added early in the boil.
Cryo Hops® are an innovative hop product that is made by separating the lupulin from the hop flower using cryogenic processing. The result is a product with twice the potency of T90 pellets, with reduced astringency and vegetative material.
Note: These hops come pelletized. The powder is compressed into pellet form to make handling easier.
Typical Hop Statistics:
Alpha Acids: 21.0 – 28.0%
Beta Acids: 6.0 – 9.0%
Total Oil: 2.0 – 5.0%

NukaTap faucets offer reduced first pour foam due to low thermal mass
Forward-sealing design prevents beer residue from gumming up the faucet
Unique shuttle design greatly improves laminar flow, improving the pour of carbonated beverages
Compatible with all Intertap faucet accessories and shanks
Matte Black painted finish. See note below.
Nothing looks quite as nice as beer pouring out of a sleek, matte black draft tower. These are the same tower kits included with the KOMOS Kegerator, featuring NukaTap Stealth Bomber faucets, EVABarrier draft tubing, and Duotight push-to-connect fittings for easy assembly. The tower is made from 304 brushed stainless steel, making them corrosion resistant while also looking great!
NukaTap Stainless Faucets and Towers
These kits come with NukaTap Stealth Bomber faucets mounted on a stainless tower with matte black finish. NukaTap is the newest brand of forward sealing faucets that boast a lower thermal mass for reduced first pour foam. They feature a "nuke-shaped" internal shuttle that is made from TPV, which provides superior laminar flow to further reduce foaming issues. All faucet spout attachments and accessories are cross compatible between Intertap and NukaTap. Forward-sealing means that while in the closed position the faucet will keep beer in it instead of draining out. This keeps the internal parts from getting sticky and reduces the chance of off flavors transferring to your beer while you pour. The modular, threaded spout can fit a variety of attachments including a growler filler or stout spout.
Duotight Fittings & EVABarrier Draft Tubing
Duotight and EVABarrier have revolutionized how you connect draft line, and our tower kits come standard with both. We love Duotight push-in fittings for their quick connection, reliable seal, and versatility. Setting up and connecting draft line has never been easier -- no more hose clamps or heating water to soften tubing! Each tower comes with Duotight fittings for the tower shanks and for splitting gas lines (double & triple tap only). We recommend adding Duotight fittings to use for your keg connections as well. Depending on whether you'll be serving from homebrew kegs or commercial sanke kegs, you'll need two DUO106 or two DUO104 per line.
EVABarrier tubing has been engineered with protection in mind and is both PVC-free and BPA-free. This double walled tubing offers superior protection against oxidation, CO2 loss, and microbial growth. EVA tubing is the future of draft line for professional applications, and now your kegerator will feature the same first-class tubing.
Includes:
Stainless steel draft tower w/ Matte Black Finish
NukaTap Stealth Bomber faucet(s)
Stainless steel faucet shank(s) with Duotight tailpieces
EVABarrier gas and beverage tubing
Draft tower mounting screws
Faucet wrench
1-3 Tap Tower Dimensions:
13.4 in. tall (without faucets)
3 in. tower diameter
4.4 in. base diameter
4 Tap Tower Dimensions:
13.4 in. tall (without faucets)
4.5 in. tower diameter
Interior mounting holes (does not include bottom collar)
Please note: this is a painted faucet and as such needs to be used, cleaned, and handled with care. Clean the faucet gently by hand and avoid tossing it into a bucket with other draft parts. Excessive soaking in caustic cleaners will damage the finish. For these reasons, we do not recommend the Stealth Bomber faucets for professional settings. If you prefer a stainless steel spout that can take more punishment, the matte black towers are also sold separately and can be paired with the NukaTap Punisher Edition faucet.
White Labs Yeast Nutrient is used to help increase the health of your yeast. Healthy yeast is vital for a clean and complete fermentation, which will also help to prevent off-flavors in your homebrew. Contains diammonium phosphate, essential vitamins and co-factors, nitrogen (amino acids, proteins, and peptides) and minerals. The White Labs Yeast Nutrient provides an effective boost for first and/or late generation yeast slurry. If grist is not 100% malt, then yeast nutrient can help make up for lack of nutrients.
For commercial use, each package contains 1.0 oz, enough for 5bbls. For homebrew use, each 1/2 tsp. from the package is good for 5 gallons.

Premium, Fire-Toasted Oak Cubes from Stavin
Medium Toast French Oak will impart flavors of coconut, vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate.
These fire-toasted oak cubes are as close as you can come to the full range of flavors you would get from aging your beer in a full sized barrel, unlike convection-toased cubes.
The difference is that convection toasted cubes are made by cutting the stave to size, then passing the small cubes through a toasting chamber. Stavin fire-toasts their staves whole, just like they would when making a barrel, and then cuts them down to size. The result is a gradation of toasting from the surface through to the center of the cube, where each different toast level represents a different flavor set that the oak will give your beer. The result is a much more complex and natural profile; by comparison convection toasted cubes taste one dimensional.
Oak cubes also release their flavor into your beer more slowly than chips, giving you more control over the final degree of impact in your beer. You should plan on an extended aging period of 1-6 months when using cubes. This longer contact time again promotes flavor complexity by allowing all the flavors of the oak and your beer to marry.
Recommended Dosage is 2 oz per 5 gallons for impact equivalent to aging in a brand new oak barrel
1.5 - 1.8 °L - Crisp Malt - Crisp No. 19 Maris Otter Malt (formerly Gleneagles Maris Otter) is an heirloom varietal that is World renowned for its deep, rich flavor. It is considered Heirloom because it is an old variety with a very low yield of 1.5-2 tons per acre. Modern varietals now produce up to 4 tons per acre. Why do farmers grow Maris Otter when new high-yield, disease resistant varietals are available? Because Craft Brewers around the World are willing to pay a premium for the complex, authentic pub flavor that Maris Otter provides.
Please note this is the distinguished Glen Eagles version of Crisp Maris Otter. Crisp produces two types of the Maris Otter malt. A regular version malted in modern silos and this exclusive Glen Eagles version of their Maris Otter that is floor malted by hand in the traditional way. This malt is obviously great for all English style Ales but is perfectly suited for any beer where you want a rich, bready malt flavor.

A yeast strain that really brings out aromatic components in white wines, especially Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Viognier and Semillion. Also a great choice for mead fermenations where it has a significant aroma/flavor input. Specifically Fruity/Floral aromas are emphasized through the natural liberation of terpenes found in these varieties. What we think is particularly unique about this strain is the creation of smoky/spicy aromas. Also selected as a commercial yeast strain for its ability to create mouthfeel volume and richness. So to recap - fruity/floral/smoky/spicy aromas and flavors with good mouthfeel... where do we sign up! Lallemand recommends adding Go-Ferm during rehydration and Fermaid K to the ferment to ensure that this strain ferments to dryness. Download the PDF Download the PDF
4.3 °L - Viking Malt - Viking Smoked Wheat Malt is produced by using the oak from the unique, natural areas located in the north-east of Poland. These are called “Polish Green Lungs”. Smoke from oak gives the malt specific and delicate aroma. Due to relatively low processing temperatures, enzymatic activities and other good brewing properties are maintained.
In brewing, Smoked Wheat Malt can be used for beer called “grodziskie” and other special beers. Smoked Malt can be also used in bakeries as a spice.
In 2016 Viking Malt and Danish Malting Group joined forces to better serve their customers. Now the new Viking Malt is the leading malting company in Northern Europe and supply raw materials and services to the global brewing, distilling and food industries. Viking Malt has 6 malthouses in areas where our distinctive Nordic barley is sourced: in Halmstad, Sweden; Vordingborg, Denmark; Lahti, Finland; Panevezys, Lithuania and in Sierpc and Strzegom, Poland. Please Note: For best results we Always recommend ordering an Ice Pack with your liquid yeast. Ice Packs can be found below in the "You might Also Need" section.
The KOMOS Double-Wide Kegerator has the largest interior capacity of any home kegerator on the market. With an extra wide design, this unit can hold up to eight 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo Kegs or Pepsi-style Ball Lock Kegs. This version does not include a tower kit. Great as a fermenation refrigerator or as a unit that can be built-in when adequate ventilation is an option. Approximately 2-3" of space on each side of the kegerator is required to allow the unit enough air. The tower is then mounted to the countertop and often a pvc collar or foam insulation is placed between the kegerator and the counter. This can also be done with any of our regular kegerators by removing the tower from the unit and mounting it on the counter. Other features you'll love about the KOMOS Kegerator include its highly-efficient cooling capacity so you'll be serving ice cold beer even in the warmest temperatures, extra wide temperature range from 26–82°F, dual gas inlets at the back, aluminum internal floor, rolling casters, and the included KOMOS Dual Gauge CO2 regulator.
The most eye-catching difference between the KOMOS Double-Wide and other kegerators is definitely the capacity. With an extra wide interior and double tower configuration, this is likely the only home kegerator you'll find that can hold up to eight 5-gallon Slimline Torpedo or Ball Lock Corny kegs.
Dual gas line inlets are absolutely clutch if you want to serve beverages at two different pressures or use two different types of gas. Many kegerators only have one inlet that is only wide enough for a single line to pass through. Both inlets on the back of the KOMOS unit are just over 3/4" in diameter and feature PCO 1881 threads. This threading allows you to use the plastic Carbonation Ball Lock Cap (FE13) as a quick connect option for your gas lines.
Upgraded condenser, evaporator, and insulation make this unit highly efficient, yet quiet, so you can serve ice cold beer in even the warmest temperatures. The unique internal fan provides excellent air circulation, pulling cold air from below the evaporator and blowing it back over the top of your kegs and up into the towers to chill your draft lines.
Extra Wide Temperature Range is Perfect for Homebrewers
The KOMOS kegerator is tailored to a homebrewer's needs.
KOMOS Regulator
The included high quality KOMOS regulator maintains consistent pressure. The regulator includes a blow-off PRV with pull ring for safety and relieve pressure, rubber coated gauges, and a hand knob for easy adjustment. Included with your kegerator package is a Duotight fitting that attaches to the regulator for an easy, solid, push-to-connect connection with your gas line.
Added Features
One of the unique features on a kegerator in this price range is the tower fan, which blows cold air up into your tower to reduce foaming issues.
The countertop drip trays couldn't be easier to keep clean.
Plus you're getting MoreBeer! service if something happens in shipment, however unlikely since these units require freight shipping. If your unit arrives damaged just call us up and we will work with you to take care of it.

When under pressure, do not expose to any temperatures above 95°F*
*Please note that the temperature rating for the FermZilla tank is lower when using it under pressure. When not under pressure, it is perfectly safe to transfer wort into the tank below 131°F or to use hot liquids below this temp for cleaning. When under pressure, make sure to keep your fermentation temperature below 95°F and keep the fermenter in an environment that is below 95°F ambient. This is especially important when fermenting with kveik yeast. These strains are known to ferment hot if no temperature control is being used. Exceeding the temperature rating may compromise the tank, leading to a shorter life span or sudden failure to maintain pressure. Even with proper use, we recommend replacing the tank every two years.
Kegland Part number: KL47289
NOTE: FermZilla tanks are marked with a manufacturer’s “expiry date”. This does not indicate that the tank is bad after this date; it simply indicates that a hydro test may be in order. 2 years after production and every 2 years after first use, it is recommended that the tank be hydro tested to ensure the tank is holding pressure. Hydro test instructions are available below. You will also need the D1072 Green PRV to perform the test. If you do not plan to pressurize the fermenter, the test is not necessary.

100% Natural Yeast Nutrient: FermFed DAP Free is a fully organic nutrient blend, derived from yeast autolysis, rich in amino acids, vitamins, and essential minerals like zinc and magnesium, ensuring optimal yeast health for successful fermentations.
Organically Derived Nitrogen: Unlike traditional nutrient formulations containing inorganic diammonium phosphate (DAP), FermFed DAP Free provides organic nitrogen, reducing the risk of off-flavors and promoting a cleaner fermentation.
Ideal for Hard Seltzer and Beer Fermentations: FermFed DAP Free is the preferred nutrient for hard seltzer fermentations and works well in beer, promoting healthy yeast activity even in high alcohol fermentations (up to 10% ABV).
Comprehensive Yeast Protection: The blend includes sterols for alcohol and temperature resistance, mannoproteins to retain aromas, and essential B-vitamins, zinc, and magnesium to support yeast performance and prevent stuck fermentations.
The ideal nutrient blend for beer fermentations, FermFed DAP Free is a 100% natural formulation derived from the autolysis of very specific yeast strains naturally high in free amino acids, sterols, mannoproteins, zinc, magnesium, and niacin, along with vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, and B12 for a complete yeast health regimen. As the name suggests, this unique formulation does not contain the traditional inorganic diammonium phosphate, but does provide organically derived nitrogen. Help your yeast start fermentation on the right foot with FermFed DAP Free by CellarScience®.
FermFed DAP Free vs Regular FermFed
Regular FermFed contains DAP, diammonium phosphate, which is an inorganic nitrogen source. If you know your fermentation needs nitrogen, typically in non-malt fermentations such as wine, DAP is more readily processed by the yeast than the organic nitrogen found in FermFed DAP free. However, if the DAP is not processed by the yeast, and left behind in the beer, there is a higher risk of off flavors. At the suggested usage rates, FermFed DAP Free provides 30ppm of organic FAN, Free Available Nitrogen, while FermFed provides 38ppm of inorganic FAN.
For Use in Hard Seltzer
We have found that FermFed DAP Free is the preferred nutrient mix for Seltzer fermentations, with the organic nitrogen component being more than enough nitrogen to support a healthy fermentation. For high alcohol fermentations closer to 10% ABV, multiple additions of FermFed DAP free are required.
How Much Do I Add and When?
The general recommendation for most beer fermentations is to add 1.5 grams per gallon. Mix the nutrient in a small slurry of water and add to the fermentation prior to pitching yeast.
How it Works
The different components of FermFed DAP Free work in different ways to feed and protect your yeast.
The complex and organic nitrogen in FermFed DAP Free helps eliminate excessive yeast growth in the initial phases helping to reduce fermentation heat spikes at the start of fermentation.
Included sterols make the yeast membrane more resistant to alcohol and to high temperatures.
The collection of B-vitamins along with zinc and magnesium are essential for enzymatic activity, alcohol tolerance, and yeast health.
Mannoproteins help avoid the aromatic stripping during the fermentation by binding esters and terpenes and not allowing them to be driven off by CO2.
The included yeast hull components act as receptors to bind up fatty acids that can accumulate and cause stuck fermentations.

A great yeast for making traditional Italian Style wines. BM45 Brunello Dry Wine Yeast is an Italian isolate that is recommended for Sangiovese and extended maceration wines. It is a slow starter and moderate fermenter. BM45 has high nutritional needs; it should be used in conjunction with Go-Ferm (AD342) and Fermaid K (AD345) in order to minimize H2S production. In red wines, BM45 brings out aromas described as fruit jams, rose petals and cherry liqueur, with notes of sweet spices, licorice and cedar. It should be noted that BM45 may produce a "gamey" quality immediately post alcoholic fermentation, that will age out in about 6 months. Best results from 64 to 82 degrees F, with an alcohol tolerance up to 16%. Download the PDF Download the PDF
