It's helpful but a little hard to use
Cleans the dirt out of the old bottles
I love it. I would’ve given it 5 stars but it doesn’t clean the top part of skinnier bottles (Bordeaux/beer bottles). The brush opens after the top portion and misses cleaning it. Good product nonetheless.
I bottle in 22oz bottles. I reuse the bottles if they are returned.I applied a very thin layer of "keg lube" to lubricate the spiral wound shaft. It worked marvelously!It won't do all the work for you. You do have to push & pull it from the bottle, but it knocked off the crud inside the bottles before I sanitized them for reuse.Much easier than a nylon bristle brush for the stubborn stuff!For storage, I found the rubber washer, (placed between the bottle & force face of this tool), can be lightly stretched to store on the handgrip to stabilize the spiral shaft. When I use it, just stretch it a bit & pull it back over the the grip to engage the bottle neck opening.Great tool after one gets used to it!

I bought this brush. how do you get the spread out bristles inside the bottle? Rob
mine worked great i put a little water in the bottle the brush spread out as soon as I pushed it out of the sleeve.
Would this work with a 1L Flip top bottle (item #B350)? I'm starting to get a film inside a couple of my bottles and would rather clean them than buy new ones.
You could use this to clean the bottle but depending on how much film is there it may be hard for brush to reach the wider parts of the inside of the bottle.
I've been using this brush to wash my bottles (used for kombucha). I have not gotten any film inside my clear 1 ltr bottles.
